PRESS RELEASE
CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS THRU SEARCH WARRANT
On or about 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon of April 21, 2015, joint PNP elements of provincial intelligence branch led by PSupt Mudhin Acub Pantaran, chief PIB, together with PNP elements of Lapuyan Police Station led by PInsp Roger Bartiana, COP and personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) proceeded to Purok Kalimodan, Barangay Poblacion, Lapuyan, Zamboanga De Sur and implemented the service of search warrant order nr 223, issued by Hon. Joel G. Vercide, Presiding Judge, Municipal Trial Court In Cities, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 1, Pagadian City dated April 16, 2015 against the spouse and owner of the house  identified as Sherwin Angelo Praico A.K.A. Winky and Jasmin Praico aka Bai, both of legal age and resident of Purok Kalimodan, Barangay Poblacion, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur which resulted to the arrest of the abovementioned spouse. confiscated during the search are twenty  nine (29) heat sealed  transparent plastic sachet of different sizes containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing  3.99 grams as per result from the provincial crime laboratory and assorted illegal  drugs  paraphernalia. subject persons are now temporarily detained at Lapuyan Police Station locked-up cell while a appropriate case for violation of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) was already filed before the Provincial Prosecution Office, Pagadian City docketed under I.S NR  IX-09-INV- 15D- 002-07 dated  April 22, 2015. Man with Estafa Case Nabbed
A man who was facing an estafa case was arrested during police operation carried out by Intel operatives of Labangan MPS in Barangay Dalapang, Labangan at about 8:30 AM of April 23, 2015. Police Senior Inspector Junie Lawingan, Labangan Police Chief, said suspect Ladie  Aberin was arrested  at  his   resident at the mentioned place by   virtue   of  warrant   of arrest   for   estafa  with  criminal  case   number  12005-2k15   issued   by   Judge  Rolando    Goan     of    RTC  9th Judicial   Region  Branch 21 Pagadian City. The arrested   person   is   now   detained    at the said police station waiting for court   order.

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL FISHING
On or about 10:57 in the evening of April 23, 2015, a cellphone call from Municipal Mayor Atty. Francisvic S. Villamero informing Tukuran Police Station that a commercial boat were fishing within the Municipal Fish Sanctuary of Barangay Sugod, Tukuran Zamboanga Del Sur and its crews were advised by members Bantay Dagat led by Bernaldo Garcia and CRM Manager Ricardo Solis not to catch fish because it is within the area of fish sanctuary but same crews did not heed their advised. Immediately, PNP elements of Tukuran Police Station led by SPO2 Edgar Neri Digal proceeded to the said place. initial investigation conducted disclosed that the said fishing boat was identified as f/b named “Amie-II “ color caterpillar yellow with white and red combination propelled with 80hp 4dr5 engine owned by Mrs. Nerie Lamonte of Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur with its Boat Captain identified as Primitivo Almonte Jr Y Dagpin 60 years old, married and a resident of San Pedro District, Pagadian City and his Assistant Boat Captain identified as Kalid Mapandi Y Sidik 28 years old, a resident of Barangay Murikay, Pagadian City and seven crews. Investigation further disclosed that the said Commercial Fishing boat was found anchoring in the said Municipal Fish Sanctuary and using superlight. At about 1:00 o’clock dawn of April 24, 2015, the same team of PNP together Crm Manager Ricardo Solis and Bantay Dagat members brought the fishing boat captain and its crew to Tukuran Police Station for investigation to include the said commercial fishing boat for verification. upon thorough deliberation by this office in the presence of Crm Manager Ricardo Solis assisted by personnel of PNP Maritime, Pagadian City and the representative of the owner of said commercial fishing boat name “ Amie-II “ Mrs. Cecelia J. Almonte and Ricardo Tanguilan, the latter opted to pay the compromise penalty under the municipal ordinance no. 2001-2 for violation of sec. 86 in rel. to sec. 18 of R.A. 8550 (Commercial Fishing Boat Fishing Within The Municipal Waters ) and after paying the corresponding penalty of Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00) the subject fishing boat and its nine (9) crews were released from the custody of  Tukuran Police Station. CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS
On or  about 8:30 in the morning of April 23, 2015 PNP elements of Labangan Police Station received a cellphone call from Hon Ian Bebas Buscabos, Barangay Captain, Binayan, Labangan Zamboanga Del Sur informing that they conducted citizen’s arrest at Purok Kuatro, Barangay Binayan, Labangan Zamboanga Del Sur against three (3) suspects: John  Louie Daguman Y NapiƱas, 20 years old, jobless; Belnard  Gift Tilitili Y Baliton, 24 years old,  jobless; Edmund  Guisado Y  Cirera; 21 years old,  jobless all resident Of Alta Tierra Barangay Tiguma Pagadian City.  Elements of Labangan Police Station led by PSInsp June Akiate Lawingan OIC immediately proceeded to the aforesaid place. Confiscated from their possession and control are as follows: two (2) pcs small heat sealed sachet; and one (1) big plastic heat sealed sachet believe to be shabu. Suspects and confiscated items was properly turn-over to PNP elements of Labangan Police Station. Suspects are now temporary detained at Labangan Police Station lock-up cell while preparing appropriates a case in court. Investigator on case is PO3 Omanos with contact nr   09101605319.

ROBBERY INCIDENT
On or about 8:00 o’clock in the morning of  April  24, 2015 at F.S. Pajares Extension, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Analyn Dologuin Y Estrebillo, 47 years old, female married business woman and a resident of Purok Buli, Barangay Upper Nilo, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur was robbed by an unidentified riding suspects. based on the investigation conducted By Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that victim was onboard on their driven single motorcycle along with her son in law Edwin Oral and her son Kent Kolien Dologuin and traversing from F.S. Pajares Extension, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City going to integrated bus  terminal of said city and upon reaching at the aforementioned place was followed/chased by two (2) unidentified riding suspects onboard on a single motorcycle Honda XRM, color red without plate number and when suspects get closer to the victim suddenly the back rider of suspect grabbed the shoulder bag of the victim containing Fifty Five Thousand Pesos (Php55,000.00), one (1) unit cherry mobile cellphone, assorted medicine and other personal belongings were carted away. PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station conducted follow-up operation to possibly identify and arrest the suspects. Progress Report Re Shooting of Sheriff Officer at Pagadian City:
this pertains to the shooting incident that transpired at Purok Upo, Barangay Balintawak, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur on April 19, 2015 at 7:55 p.m., wherein Manuel Gabawan, 60 years old, a Sheriff Officer Of Regional Trial Court, Branch 22, Pagadian City and his driver named Joselito Tenajeros Jr, 32 years old, employee of Pagadian City LGU were shot by unidentified persons onboard a motorcycle. Please be informed that during the conduct of follow-up investigation by responding elements of Pagadian CPS investigation that the suspects sped off towards west direction of Pagadian City onboard a motorcycle Honda XRM 125, color blue with plate number 4591. Further, SOCO recovered at the crime scene six (6) spent shells for caliber .45

Molave MPS Operation on Illegal Drugs
The Intelligence Personnel of Molave MPS led by SPO3 Benedicto Egot conducted buy-bust operation at the carnival area inside Molave Regional Pilot School, Barangay Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:15 PM of April 19, 2015. This resulted to the arrest of Wilvin Benito Paderanga, 29 years old, male, carnival worker, a resident of Barangay Balintawak, Ozamiz City and his live-in partner identified as Merly Galarpe Edrote, 22 years old, female, also a carnival worker, and a resident of Barangay Snowland, Libertad, Misamis Occidental. confiscated from their possession and control were the cash money believed to be drug proceeds together with the marked money amounting to one thousand two hundred ninety six (1,296.00 Php), two (2) pieces heat sealed transparent cellophane sachets containing white crystalline substance of believed to be shabu and five (5) rolled aluminum foils aside from the 1 sachet and 2 rolled aluminum foils turned-over by the poseur buyer. Arrested suspects are now detained at Molave MPS lock-up cell while case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS IN PAGADIAN CITY
On or about 9:30 in the morning of April 20, 2015, intelligence operatives of Pagadian City Police Station led by PInsp Harry Ratunil Velez, deputy intelligence officer conducted a drug buy- bust operation at the alley of Borbon Hospital, Barangay Sta Lucia, Pagadian City which resulted to the successful arrest of one Julius Cabrera Y Acasio, aka “Berto”, 41 years old male, married and a resident said place. confiscated from suspect’s possession  and control as follows: one(1) pc small transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; five (5) pcs of one hundred pesos bill (php100.00) bearing with SNs YJ994106, GP631578, LV814038, XH146916 and ES858298; one Swiston rectangular black case which contains  one(1) disposable lighter, two (2) aluminum foil and one(1) roll of cellophane commonly used in packing a longganisa, one (1) unit improvised water pipe and one (1) unit cellophane heat sealer. Confiscated shabu subsequently submitted to provincial crime laboratory office for examination. Arrested suspect is now temporary detained at Pagadian city police station lock-up cell for proper disposition while a case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for immediate filing in court.

On or about 5:00 in the morning of April 20, 2015, intelligence operatives of Pagadian City Police Station led by PInsp Harry Ratunil Velez, deputy intelligence officer conducted a drug buy-bust operation fronting F.A. Pawnshop, F.S. Pajares Avenue, Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City that resulted to the arrest of one Jennifer Polido y Lapinid aka “Lyn-lyn”, 35 years old, female, single, a resident of Purok Pagatpat Uno, Barangay Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City. Subject person listed in watch list on illegal drugs activity in Pagadian City. Confiscated from the fm the possession and control of the suspect as follows: one (1) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected shabu; four (4) pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected shabu; one (1) piece small hello kitty pouch; two (2) pieces small improvised envelop; nine (9) pieces folded aluminum foils; nine (9) pieces empty transparent plastic sachets; one (1) piece blue repacking straw; one (1) piece medium size transparent plastic; three (3) pieces rolled aluminum foils;  one (1) piece blue disposable lighter; one (1) piece light green disposable lighter and marked money worth Three Hundred Pesos consisting of two (2) pieces One Hundred Peso bill with serial numbers M230924 & GQ857555 and two (2) pieces Fifty Peso bill with serial numbers Nz463407 & Mv530184. confiscated items subsequently submitted to PCLO for examination. Arrested suspect is now temporary detained at Pagadian City Police Station lock-up cell while a case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for immediate filing in court.

REPORTED INCIDENTS –April 18, 2015

PRESS RELEASE
Shooting Incident in Labangan.
Shooting incident occurred at about 12:15 PM of April 18, 2015 at Purok 3 in Barangay Dalapang, Labangan. The victim was identified as Raufden Zaman Y Masla, 41, married, jobless and a resident of Barangay Upper Campo Islam, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was shot to death by unidentified person. Investigation showed that the victim was on his way home riding on his single motorcycle, however, upon reaching at the aforementioned place he was waylaid by unidentified person and was shot the victim several times using .45 pistols based on four empty cartridges recovered at the crime scene. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his different parts of his body which caused of his instantaneous death while the suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. The victim cadaver was brought by his relatives at his residence as part of Muslim tradition. He has a pending case of RA 9165 at RTC, Branch 19, Pagadian City but posted bill bond for his temporarily liberty. The motive of the incident is personal grudge. The elements of Labangan MPS still conducting follow - up investigation for possible arrest the suspect. 

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS
2 Wanted Persons Nabbed in San Miguel
Two wanted person one of them listed as the Top 6 Most wanted in San Miguel municipality were arrested during police operation in Purok Talisay, Barangay Dao-an, San Miguel at about 4:20 PM of April 18, 2015. Police Inspector Willie Joy B. Pogado, San Miguel Police Chief, identified the arrested suspects as Jenny Cege Molehon aka Jenny ( Top 6 Most Wanted Person in municipal level), 27 years old, married, jobless, resident of Barangay Legarda, Dinas. She was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case number 13-085, issued by Hon. Edilberto Absin Cmm Presiding Judge of RTC, branch 29, ninth judicial region, Pagadian City for the crime of robbery with violence/intimidation, docketed under criminal case number 07-041, issued by Hon. Edilberto Absin with bail recommended amounted to (P 40,000.00). The other arrested man was identified as Junrey MaƱaneta Estomo “aka” Ren-Ren, 18, resident of Barangay Dao-an, San Miguel. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide docketed under criminal case number 1640-sm, issued by Hon Maria Teresa Pangilinan, Presiding Judge, 6th MCTC, San Miguel-Dinas –Lapuyan with bail recommended amounted to (P 12,000.00). Arrested suspects are now temporarily detained at San Miguel MPS awaiting court disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS –April 14-15, 2015

PRESS RELEASE
Dead Body Found in Dumalinao
A male dead body was found at around 7:44 AM of April 14, 2015 in Barangay Rebokon, Dumalinao. The victim was identified as Elias Guillena Y Ramoga, 42, married, farmer and a resident of said place. He was found lying lifeless at said place and sustained gunshot wounds at his head of unknown Cal of firearm. Accordingly, the victim was last seen at the store of Jinky Lopez located of same barangay at 8:00 PM of April 13, 2015 together with Marlon Tumatob and Lando Hiyan. The victim was discovered dead by his younger brother identified as Libey Guillena at 6:00 AM of April 14, 2015 at the aforementioned. The elements of Dumalinao MPS are now conducting follow-up investigation to possibly identify the suspect/s and its motive of killing the victim.

Jobless Nabbed in Tabina for Physical Injury
A jobless man was arrested for the crime of less serious physical injury in Barangay Baya-Baya, Tabina at about 2:45 PM of April 14, 2015. Arrested man was identified as Arnel B Gapol, 30 years old, single, jobless, resident of said place. He was arrested by virtue by warrant of arrest for the crime of less serious physical injury issued by Presiding Judge Maria Teresa R. Pangilinan, docketed under criminal case number 14-2196-t dated 18th day of February 2015. Suspect is now temporarily detained at Tabina MPS locked- up cell awaiting court disposition.

Tabina MPS Nabs Jobless For Physical Injury
A jobless man was arrested for the crime of physical injury in Barangay Culabay, Tabina at about 12:15 PM of April 14, 2015. The Tabina Police identified the arrested as Albert Denoyo, 29 year old, single, jobless, a resident of mentioned place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of for the crime of less serious physical injury issued by Presiding Judge Maria Teresa R. Pangilinan docketed under criminal case number 14-2196-t dated 18th day of February 2015. The accused is now temporarily detained at Tabina MPS locked dash up cell awaiting court disposition.

Shooting in Midsalip
Shooting incident occurred at about 10:40 AM of April 15, 2015 at Sitio Guayan, Barangay Piwan, Midsalip. The victim was identified as Ronnie Cotongan, 48, married and also resident of same place. He was shot to death by unidentified suspect with the use of a homemade shotgun. Investigation conducted revealed that the victim was sleeping inside his house together with his wife when shot once by unidentified suspect hitting only the victim on his left armpit while his wife identified as Felia Cotongan jumped into the window. The victim sustained nine (9) pellet wounds below his left armpit causing his untimely death while suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. The motive of the incident is still to be determined by the investigator of Midsalip Police Station.

Hold-up in Molave
Hold- up incident occurred at about 11:40 AM of April 15, 2015, wherein victim identified as Gary Taguran, salesman of mighty corporation allegedly stated that they were being robbed and hold- up along the National Highway, Barangay Blancia, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur while parking near a sari-sari store just beside the highway of the aforesaid place by two unidentified suspects who carted away an estimated amount of twenty five thousand (P 25,000.00) pesos and undetermined quantity of cigarettes. The Molave MPS now conducting follow dash up investigation and hot pursuit operation against the suspects.

Dead Body Found in Pagadian
A dead body was found at Purok Mabait, Barangay Poloyagan, Pagadian City.  the unidentified male lifeless body was found at vast prairie area with both hands tied at back and on the state of rigor mortis estimated to be three (3) days dead and incurred multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of his body. He was wearing black shirt, white short pants, dark complexion, approximately 5’5 in height, more or less 30-35 years of age and medium body build. The cadaver was found by Edgar Frasco Y Endrino, 37, at about 7:00 AM of April 15, 2015, while he was harvesting coconut fruits. Accordingly, he urinates at the aforesaid area when he saw a dead body thereat. According to the residence in the area, at about 10:00 o’clock in the evening of April 12, 2015, some residents nearby heard multiple guns fired on the said vicinity and it was ignored. The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting follow - up investigation for possible identification of the victim and the suspect.

Attempted Robbery in Pagadian
An attempted robbery occurred at about 8:15 PM of April 15, 2015, wherein a rural transit bus number 1268 was robbed at Barangay Bulatoc, Pagadian City. the rural bus was traveling from Cagayan to Pagadian City when an unidentified male suspect pretending a passenger of the said bus and upon reaching at the dark area of said Barangay more or less 500 meters to the integrated Bus Terminal, the said male suspect asked for his change for his five hundred pesos (P 500.00) to the conductor and the conductor gave him his change but suddenly the suspect immediately pulled out a hunting knife and declared hold - up but the conductor resisted. They scuffled wherein the conductor able to pushed the suspect out of the bus. The suspect run towards the dark portion of the said place and was able to hide himself to the PNP responding team from Pagadian City Police Station, however, no amount of money or property was taken by the suspect. 

Snatching in Pagadian
Snatching incident occurred at about 9:45 PM of April 15, 2015 in Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City. The victim was identified as Centuna Catalan Y Varques, 50, college instructor of SMC College and a resident of Sunrise Village, Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City. Accordingly, her shoulder bag was taken and snatched by unidentified male suspect while she was waiting for a tricycle at the terminal near Mabuhay Bazar when the suspect grabbed her brown shoulder bag on board on unknown type of single motorcycle driven by unidentified male person. The victim resisted but she was dragged on the pavements of the road and the suspects successfully got the shoulder bag and fled to unknown direction after the incident. The suspects carted away the cash amounting to more or less six thousand pesos (P 6,000.00), one Nokia cellphone worth of twelve thousand pesos (P 12,000.00), one my phone cellphone worth of one thousand pesos (P 1,000.00), one DBP ATM. The Pagadian City Police is now conducting discreet investigation to possibly identify and arrest the suspect.
