Shooting incident

 A shooting incident transpired at about 2:30 PM of June 29, 2016 along the National Coastal Road, Purok 1, Brgy. East Migpulao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victims identified as Rodelio Digan, Barangay Kagawad of Guiniculalay, Dinas, ZDS and Angelito Pampangan, active CAFGU member presently assigned at Brgy. Nian CAFGU Detachment, Dinas, ZDS were ambushed by the suspects identified as Anwar Ansang and Fermin Muhamar, both members of Nhor Ambul Group. Suspect is at large.

Arrest of Wanted Person

On June 29, 2016 at about 6:30 PM, the PNP Team of Aurora Municipal Police Station arrested the Two (2) wanted persons identified as VENJIE LECHEDO y DIACOSTA, 28 years old, married, chainsaw helper and one (1) ANTONIO LABORTE y PODIOTAN aka TONY, 44 years old, married, chainsaw operator, all residents of Purok Tuburan, Brgy Sapa Luboc, Aurora, ZDS by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of THEFT docketed under CC NR. 3707 duly issued and signed by Hon. Ronald C. Tolentino, Acting Presiding Judge, MTC Br-01, Aurora, ZDS with recommended bail fixed at P12, 000.00 each for their temporary liberty. 

Campaign Against Illegal Drugs:

On june 29, 2016, at about 1:00 pm, intelligence personnel of Pagadian City Police Station led by PI HARRY R VELEZ, Deputy Chief Intelligence under the direct supervision of PSUPT MICHAEL P PALERMO, officer in charge, conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Sunshine, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City at about 1:00 pm of June 29, 2016, that resulted in the arrest of Hilda Nacario Ampak a.k.a "Hilda", 43 years old, female, married, housewife, resident of Purok Sunshine, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City. Confiscated from her possession and control were seven (7) sachets of suspected shabu, one (1) coin purse and two (2) pieces one hundred peso (Php 100.00) bill marked money. Suspect is temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station lock-up cell for proper disposition.

Report On Illegal Drugs 

The PNP Intelligence Operatives of this station led by PI HARRY R VELEZ under the direction from PSUPT MICHAEL P PALERMO-OIC, conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Subida, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 am of June 28, 2016, which resulted in the arrest of the following: Amana Katog Langaig, 37 years old, married, and his cohort identified as Eddie Esparaguera, 41 years old, married all resident of the above-mentioned place. Recovered from the possession of the suspects were four (4) pieces small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing crystalline substances together with the two (2) pieces of one hundred peso (₱100.00) bill with corresponding serial numbers WR471690 and VL860858. The suspect being properly informed of her basic constitutional rights afforded to her by the Philippine Constitution and subsequently brought to this station for proper disposition. Suspects is now temporarily locked-up at the detention cell of this station while appropriate charges will be filed at the city prosecutors office against the suspects. Report On Illegal Drugs 

The elements of Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (PAIDSOTF), Zamboanga Del Sur led by PCI ROMMEL ETBEW, action PCO together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Pagadian City Police Office  conducted buy bust operation at Purok Arabic, Barangay Banale, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 am of June 28 2016, that resulted in the arrest of Maighan Pagayao, 34 years old, married a resident of Banale Pagadian City and Mardie Navarez, male, 25 years old, a resident of Kapatagan Lanao Del Norte. Confiscated from the suspect were two (2) pieces heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weight is still to be determined. The suspect is now temporarily detained at Lapuyan MPS locked-up cell while a case for violation of sec 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165 is now being prepared by the investigator- on-case P02 Dominic Rato Dalena for filing in court.

The PNP elements of Mahayag Municipal Police Station led by PO3 Sunny Asingua, under the direction of PCI HOMER T DUMALAG, Chief Of Police, conducted  buy-bust operation at Purok 1, Barangay Boniao, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 am of June 28,  2016, that resulted in the arrest of Benjamin Acapulco Gapo Aka Benjie, 48 years old, married, habal-habal driver, a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002). Confiscated from his possession and control were five (5) pieces of small heat sealed transparent sachet of suspected “shabu”,  five (5) pieces of folded aluminum foil, one (1) piece disposable lighter, and two (2) pieces one hundred peso (₱100.00) bills as marked money with corresponding serial numbers DQ052668 and XV069524. Subject person is temporarily detained at Mahayag MPS locked up cell while appropriate case is now being prepared for filing in court.

A joint PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station led by PINSP HARRY VELEZ, Assistant Intelligence Officer, together with Intelligence Operatives of 2nd MC, RPSB9, conducted intelligence driven drug buy-bust operation at Zone 2, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:30 am of June 28, 2016, that resulted in the arrest of Catalina Luang Peralta  aka “Catalina”, 45 years old, married, self-employed, a resident of Zone 2, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002). confiscated from her possession and control were thirty one (31) sachets of shabu, one (1) piece small brown envelope and two (2) pieces of one hundred peso (₱100.00) bill with corresponding serial numbers DN 824823 and YZ5435254. Subject person is temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS locked up cell for proper disposition. Investigator-on-case is PO2 Erwin B Andale with contact number 09177733782.

Report On Alleged Abduction

Aliyah Datumaas Anas, 55 years old, housewife, a resident of Muslim Village, Barangay Kawit, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur, personally came to Pagadian City Police Station at about 1:25 am of June 28, 2016, reported that her daughter Hazel Datumaas Anas, 21 years old, a Gaisano Promo Dicer, a resident of above mentioned place was taken by a certain Asmin Radyamuda, 24 years old, jobless, a resident of Payong, Sultan Naga Dimaporo. Further, the complainant added that her son Ali Datumaas Anas, 29 years old, also a resident of Muslim Village, Barangay Kawit, Pagadian City received a text message from her sister Hazel thru his cellphone with number 09057475289 the first text message from Hazel Anas at about 8:49 pm of June 27, 2016 thru cellphone informing him to quote “Kinwa ako n asmin dko katawan daw akunin bgeten nawasa akugd dnin katawan and cp kokatawan and cp ko” which means “i was taken by Asmin, i do not know where he will be taking me, i am so wet, he doesn’t know i have a cellphone” and second message at about 8:53 pm of same date to quote “ d akulon man bgunot” which means “i do not want to go with him”. The said missing person can no longer be contacted through her cellphone. Intelligence Operatives of Pagadian City PS were tapped for the possible location of the victim. Spot Report On Hostage Taking Incident

The Molave Municipal Police Station received a report from Laurencio Canlum Jr., secretary of barangay affairs of Molave LGU through cellular phone call that a hostage taking incident was on progress at Purok 4, Sitio Sili, Barangay Bagong Ariosa, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 am of June 28, 2016. Upon receipt of the report, immediately elements of said station led by PINSP HERMINIGILDO P BAJAO, responded at the place of incident. The suspect identified as Eddie Reyes, 35 years old, married, jobless, a resident of aforementioned place armed with a hand grenade and caliber .45 pistol was caught on the act by the responding elements holding hostage his wife and three (3) children. A negotiation that has been made by Police Personnel upon the hostage taker but failed when the latter shot his wife and attempted to remove the pin of the hand grenade that prompted the PNP elements to neutralize the said hostage taker. Suspect and his wife died on the spot during the incident. Molave MPS is still conducting follow-up investigation to determine the motive of the hostage taker. Report On Illegal Drugs

On June 27, 2016, at about 5:30 am, joint PNP elements of PIB ZSPPO and Margosatubig Municipal Police Station led by PSI ANDREW TUCLUS LIMOD, Officer-In-Charge conducted drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Lumbog, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:30 am of June 27, 2016, which resulted in the arrest of two (2) suspects identified as Joven Barbosa Deleverio, 39  years old, married, jobless and  Jovelyn Gade Labuan, 24  years old, married, housewife, all residents of Sitio Buli, Barangay Kalian, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated from their possession and control were the following items, to wit: one (1) piece big heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; four (4) pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; one (1) piece two hundred peso (₱200.00) bill as buy-bust money with serial number BH218337; one (1) piece disposable lighter, color green; and one (1) piece empty plastic silka whitening pearl cream container, color orange used as the container of shabu. The said suspects is now temporarily detained at Margosatubig MPS locked-up cell for proper disposition while a case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for immediate filing in court. 

REPORTED INCIDENTS - June 27, 2016

Alleged Striking Incident

The PNP elements of Aurora Municipal Police Station received a cell phone call from the Punong Barangay Antolin Macababayao of Kahayagan East, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 am of June 26, 2016 informing that Guadalope Arcayan Mangumpit, 72 years old, widow, businesswoman, resident of same place found bloody inside her house. PNP team of said police station led by PO3 Ronald G Encarquez proceeded to the place of incident. Investigation conducted disclosed that at about 5:00 am of same date, Paulina Colonia Panilagan, 63 years old, widow, also resident of same place heard a loud voice asking for help prompting her to went inside and saw the bloody body of the victim lying on the floor with injury on her head, that believed to be struck by a hard object. Victim rushed by the responding police officers to Aurora Community Emergency Hospital for immediate medication but pronounced dead by attending physician after an hour. The case is under follow-up investigation by Aurora Municipal Police Station for the possible arrest and identity of the suspect as well as the motive of the incident. Wanted Person

The PNP elements of Dimataling Municipal Police Station led by PINSP BERNARD P TALITAYAN, Officer-In-Charge, conducted operation on lambat-sibat (service of arrest warrant) at Barangay Balanagan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 am of June 25, 2016,  that resulted in the arrest of two (2) suspects identified as Rowei Catalan Rosaroso, 32 years old, married, farmer, resident of Purok 2, Barangay Balanagan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur and Rolando Paitan Sumampong,  a.k.a Doydoy, 19 years old, single, jobless, resident of Purok 4, Barangay Balanagan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspects were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest  for the crime of theft, issued by Honorable Johnabel H Tabunda, Presiding Judge, MCTC, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur, docketed under criminal case number 16-2227-D, with recommended bail-bond amounting to ten thousand pesos (Php 10,000.00) each for their temporarily liberty. Suspects were temporarily detained at Dimataling Municipal Police Station lock-up cell for proper disposition.

Report On Illegal Drugs

The PNP elements of Dinas Municipal Police Station led by PI JOVERT CANTIL DAHUNAN, DCOP under the direct supervision of PSI JAWORSKI ARELLANO OSNGAL, OIC conducted buy-bust operation along the national highway of  Purok  Manga, Barangay Don Jose, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:10 am of June 24, 2016 that resulted in the arrest of Yaser Mindog Salipada,  20 years old, married, habal-habal driver, a resident of Purok 6, Campo Muslim ,Barangay East Migpulao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated from his possession and control were one (1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, one  (1) piece of one hundred peso (₱100.00) bill buy-bust money  with serial number KP291983 and shabu proceeds amounting to seven hundred seventy pesos (₱770.00) in different denomination. Suspect is temporarily detained at Dinas MPS for proper disposition. Investigator-on-case is PO3 Romeo Fulgeras Mendoza with contact number 099996516798.

Report On Wanted Person 

The PNP elements of Tambulig Municipal Police Station led by PI DIOSDADO SEROJIJOS, DCOP under the direct supervision of PSI JEREMIAS P SORÑO, OIC conducted manhunt operation against wanted person at Barangay Gabunon, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:30 of June 24, 2016 am, which resulted in the arrest of Vilmar Camporedondo Asis, 32 years old, married, a resident of Purok Caimito, Barangay Tuluan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of robbery docketed under criminal case number 2016-10-3159, issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC Ninth Judicial Region, branch 23, Pagadian City with bail bond recommended fix at eighty thousand pesos (₱80, 000.00) for his temporary liberty. The accused is now temporarily detained at Tambulig MPS locked-up cell waiting for commitment order from the court.

Campaign Against Illegal Drugs

The PNP elements of Tukuran Municipal Police Station conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Masidlakon, Barangay Sto. Niño, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 10:30 pm of June 21, 2016, that resulted in the arrest of Norman Dimpas Tangub, 38 years old, married, jobless, a resident of same place and Harison Dumayas Rivera, 26 years old, single, a resident of Purok Kamanggahan, Barangay Curvada, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated/recovered from their possession and control were two (2) pieces of small plastic heat sealed sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected shabu; six (6) pieces rolled aluminum foils; one (1) piece plastic tictac spearmint used as container; and one (1) piece disposable lighter. Suspects were temporarily detained at Tukuran Municipal Police Station lock-up cell for proper disposition.

Service Of Warrant Of Arrest

On June 20, 2016, at about 2:43 pm, PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station led SPO3 Carlos Omentic, warrant server of this station under the supervision of PSUPT MICHAEL P PALERMO–COP, served the warrant of arrest against Cristina Mojillo-Agcol known as Evelyn Mojillo-Agcol, 58 years old, married, a resident of Santa Maria District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. Subject person was arrested at her residence by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Joel G Vercide, MTCC, branch 1, 9th Judicial Region Pagadian City docketed under criminal case number 17417 for adultery  with bail bond recommended fix at twelve thousand pesos (₱12,000.00) for her temporary liberty. The subject person is temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

The  elements of PAIDSOTG, Zamboanga Del Sur PPO led by PCI ROMMEL ETBEW, together with PDEA, conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Sampaguita, Barangay Tawagan, Pagadian City at about 11:30 am of June 20, 2016,  that resulted in the arrest of Al Darwin Wahab Santos, 36 years old, married, a resident of Barangay Bulanit Labangan Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated from his possession and control were ten (10) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu. Suspect is temporarily detained at PDEA lock-up cell for proper disposition. 

REPORTED INCIDENTS - June 19, 2016

Spot Report on Electrocution

A telephone call was received by Pagadian Police station from SFO3 Madrid, informing that there was an electrocution incident transpired at Purok Santan, Napolan, Pagadian City at about 12:45 in the afternoon of June 18, 2016.  Immediately thereafter, duty reaction team led by PI LERMA C BORON, Officer of the Day, together with duty investigator proceeded to the place of incident to conduct investigation with regards to the incident being reported. Investigation disclosed that about 12:30 in the afternoon of same date while the truck owned by Nerio Alcano, and was being driven by Recardo Mendang y Taple, headed towards Napolan, this City to get junk metal items is about to hit the live wire of Zamsureco, along Purok Santan, Napolan, Pagadian City, Julieto Pancho Jr, the truck helper, tried to pushed aside the said wire. That, while pushing it away from the said truck Julieto was slip from his position and hitch to the other live wire of Zamsureco, and that he was electrocuted by it. On the other hand, the other victim was just holding the body of the truck, was also electrocuted. Victims were identified as one JULIETO PANCHO JR, of legal age, male, single, and a resident of San Jose, Sergio Osmeña who was dead on the spot after was being electrocuted. The other victim was identified as one Amon Bahunsua y Suarez, 21 years old, male, single, and a resident of same place stated, who was being rushed to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center for immediate and proper medication. The body of Julieto Pancho Jr, is now lying at Gamalinda Funeral Homes, while Amon Bahunsua, still under observation by his attending physician at Zamboanga del Sur medical Center.
