REPORTED INCIDENTS - August 26, 2016

Hacking Incident And Neutralization of the Suspect

A hacking incident transpired at Barangay Silangit, Molave, ZDS at about 3:30 PM of August 25, 2016, wherein victim identified as EMILY CAMIÑOS y GANDOY, 7 years old, Grade 2 student of Silangit Elementary School, Silangit, Molave, ZDS and also a resident of the same place was hacked by suspect identified as JOSE CARREON y ARABIS, 37 yo, single, farmer and a resident of same place. Victim sustained serious injuries in the head, face and hand, and was brought to Emergency Hospital, Ozamis City. The report added, that said suspect went wild and no one could arrest nor subdue him since he was armed with two long bolos and a bow and arrow (Indian pana). Negotiations was made at the house of the suspect located at same place by the responding PNP elements of Molave MPS to let him surrender, but still did not cooperate. About an hour later, he went out and attacked four people thereat including one of the responding PNP officer of Molave MPS identified as PO3 Lugagay which prompted said PNP member to defend himself and shot the suspect. Suspect was immediate rushed to Igano Community Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. According to the father of the suspect and their neighbors, his son was believed to be mentally deranged and maybe using illegal drugs.

Vehicular Accident

A vehicular accident transpired at Purok Malinawon-B, Barangay Road of Paglaum, Dumalinao, ZDS at around 4:50 PM of August 25, 2016, wherein one female child identify as Mae Ann Diaz y Cantila, 7 years old, grade 1 student of Dumalinao Regional Pilot and daughter of Ritchelle May Diaz a resident of Purok Malinawon B, Paglaum, Dumalinao, ZDS was accidentally hit by a moving single mc Honda wave 100, color black with plate no.9842 JH, owned and driven by Eugene Butlig y Rusiana, 26 years old, married and a resident of Barangay Pantad, Dumalinao, ZDS. Said child sustained injuries on her body and was brought to Dumalinao health center for medication and later on transported to Pagadian city for further medication. Driver Eugene Butlig sustained minor injuries on his body and was referred to Dumalinao health center for treatment.   

Arrest of Wanted Person

The PNP elements of Dimataling Municipal Police Station led by PSINSP JS CUBILLA, OIC, CIDG-ZDS led by SPO4 JT Dionga together with and PINSP AG VILLANUEVA JR, Team Leader of 1st MP, ZSPPSC conducted operation on wanted person at about 10:30 AM of August 25, 2016. This led to the arrest of one NONO TAUG BONGA aka “Nono”, 35 years old, a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, ZDS. The said person has the standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Frustrated Murder under CC Nr 16-053, issued by Hon. Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 29, San Miguel, ZDS dated August 15, 2016.

A wanted person is arrested identified as FROILAN DELLOR PADAWAN, 24 yo, single, a resident of Barangay Baganian, Tabina, ZDS was arrested by elements of Tabina MPS at about 2:30 PM of August during a police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at District Hibino, Barangay Poblacion, Tabina, ZDS by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Reckless Imprudence resulting to Physical Injuries docketed under CC Nr 16-072 issued by Hon. Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 29, San Miguel, ZDS with bail bond of P25,000.00 for his temporary liberty.

Carnapping Incident and Arrest of two (2) suspects

On August 25, 2016 at about 3:55 PM, PNP elements of Pigcawan, North Cotabato coordinated with V Sagun Municipal Police Station informing that one single MC EURO RACING 125 CC, color black owned by Jayson Ogsio Gallano was stolen last August 17, 2016. Elements of V Sagun MPS successfully arrested one BELMAR MAGRASYA DAYAC, of legal age and ZAYROX FANEGA, a minor at the store of Gilbert Saavedra at Margosatubig, ZDS.

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT - August 17, 2016

Man Held for Possessing Ammunitions

A 24- year old man was arrested by elements of Ramon Magsaysay MPS after a lives ammunitions was found in his possession during his visit to one of the detainee at the mentioned police station on August 16, 2016 at about 8:20 AM. Arrested was identified as Alfe Jan Mensurado Y Artigas, 24, single, a resident of Purok 1b, Barangay Switch, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated from his possession and control five (5) live ammunitions of Cal .45 placed inside his back pack when checked by the duty personnel during his visit to one of the detainees at the lock-up cell of said station.

Anti- illegal Drugs Operation

A drug buy-bust operation was conducted by Bayog MPS at Purok 6, Sitio Mataga, Barangay Depase, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:45 PM of August 16, 2016. This resulted to the neutralization of one Nomer Madamba Y Ramos, farmer, Drugs Watchlist personality in Barangay Damit, Bayog, and surrendered to Bayog MPS last July 6, 2016 but continuously engaged in illegal drugs activities. That upon sensing his apprehension, he suddenly drew his Cal .45 pistol and shoot the apprehending police officer, who acted as poseur buyer which prompted the back-up personnel to neutralize the suspect. As a result, suspect sustained 3 GSWs on the different parts of his body that resulted to his untimely death. Confiscated from his possession and control one (1) sachet of shabu, one (1) unit cal .45 pistol Caspian Model with SN 340122, one (1) magazine loaded with three (3) live ammos and one (1) fired cartridge of Cal .45, three (3) fired cartridge cases of Cal 9 mm, and other drug paraphernalia.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Joint elements of Tukuran MPS led by SPO4  EDC Vasaylaje, 3rd MP PPSC, Lanao del Norte PPO and Sapad MPS conducted  police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at Purok Camachilles, Sitio Sawmill, Barangay Baclay, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur on August 16, 2016 at about 12:45 PM. This resulted to the arrest of one Pacasom Macari Y Maruhom, 39, married, farmer and a resident of same place by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder, under Criminal Case number 21-2731, issued by Hon. Judge Alberto P Quinto of RTC-12, Branch 21, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte.

Shooting Incident in Pagadian

Shooting Incident at Purok Silao, Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City on August 15, 2016 at about 2:10 PM. The victim was  identified as Felixberto Beton Y Ramos a.k.a. botchoy (No. 1 Drug Watch List in Pagadian City and No. 1 on the LAMBAT SIBAT list as Drug Pusher) was shot to death by an unidentified suspect using caliber 45 pistol based on the recovered six (6) fired cartridge case and one (1) deformed slug of said caliber.

Shooting Incident in Dimataling

Shooting Incident (Duel) at Purok 1, Barangay San Roque, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:35 PM of August 15, 2016. Investigation conducted disclosed that certain Barangay Kagawad Elmer Vina Labad, 49 years old, married, farmer and certain Romeo Lasarina Balansag, 52 years old, married, construction worker, both resident of Purok 1, Barangay San Roque, Dimataling Zamboanga del Sur who were under influence of liquor had heated arguments that resulted to a duel by using short firearms. As a result, Kagawad Elmer Labad sustained lone gunshot wound at his right leg and Rome Balansag sustained lone gunshot wound at his right knee. Both were immediately brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for immediate medication. Responding PNP elements recovered two (2) pieces fired cartridge cases of caliber .45 pistols at the crime scene.

Anti-Illegal Drugs Operation

A drug bust-bust operation was conducted by Dimataling MPS at Barangay Pongapong, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur on August 15, 2016 at about 10:30 AM. The operation resulted to the arrest of Dionisio Paimalan Y Delos Santos a.k.a. Don-Don (Top 4 of the Drug Watch list of San Pablo Municipality), 25 years old, single, jobless, and resident of Purok Mangga, Pongapong, San Pablo, ZDS. Confiscated from his possession and control were the following: two (2) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; Four (4) pieces rolled aluminum foil; and Three (3) pieces one hundred peso bill as buy-bust money  bearing serial numbers DP425177, LV537287 and YR 111184. The suspect is now temporarily detained at San Pablo MPS lock-up cell while appropriate case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.

Campaign against Illegal Drugs

A drug bust-bust operation was conducted by PNP personnel of Dimataling MPS led by Police Senior Inspector Jaime Sillo Cubilla, Officer-In-charge, at Purok 3, Barangay Binuay, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur  on August 15, 2016 at about 2:00 PM. The operation resulted to the arrest of Jomar Malandakon Y Fabriga, 29 years old, single, jobless, and resident of Purok 1, Barangay Magahis, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated from his possession and control: one (1) medium sized transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; one (1) piece five  hundred peso bill as buy-bust money with serial number ES842554;  two (2) rolled aluminium foils; and one (1) unit black single MC RUSI with chassis number RWCLXPGA6G9101225 with no plate number. The suspect is now temporarily detained at Dimataling MPS lock-up cell while appropriate case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.

Arrest of Wanted Person

A 39-year old wanted person was arrested at his residence at about 9:00 AM of August 15, 2016. Suspect was identified as Renero Same Y Ceniza a.k.a. Nero, 39 years old, married, farmer, and resident of Barangay Upper Tiparak, Tambulig. He was arrested by PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS at Purok Madanihon, Barangay Tinago, Ozamis City.The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Attempted Murder, docketed under criminal case number 2014-10-2798, issued by Hon. Jaime B Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur. The accused is now temporarily detained at Tambulig MPS lock-up cell while awaiting commitment order from the court.

REPORTED INCIDENTS - August 13, 2016

Arrest of Wanted Person

The PNP personnel of Lapuyan Municipal Police Station led by PSI ROGER A BARTIANA, Chief of Police, and PSI ROQUE D HAMID, Deputy Chief of Police, conducted a buy-bust operation at Barangay Tininghalang, Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur on August 12, 2016 at about 5:30 PM. The operation resulted to the death of one (1) Bryan Landiao y Nango (Included in the Drug Watch list of Lapuyan Municipality), legal age, male, married, habal - habal driver, and resident of Poblacion Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur. The victim died during the buy-bust operation when he suddenly drew his calibre 38 revolver towards the PNP personnel who acted as poseur-buyer when he declared his arrest that prompted the poseur buyer to shoot the suspect. The victim sustained gunshot wound on his head which resulted to his instantaneous death. The following were the pieces of evidence recovered from the crime scene: Three (3) Heat Sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu” ; One (1) Folded aluminum foil; One (1) NOKIA “N105” black cellphone ; One (1) Cal. 38 revolver pistol; Four (4) Cal. 38 live ammunitions; One (1)  Mini bolo with scabbard;  Two (2) pieces 500 peso bill;  One (1) piece 100 peso bill; and  Four (4) pieces  50 peso bill; Twelve (12) pieces 20 peso bill; One (1) Cal 9mm empty shell; and SKYGO WIZARD 125 motorcycle, color black. The cadaver was turned-over by the Local Government Unit of Lapuyan Municipality thru the Municipal Mayor to the immediate family of the victim.

Illegal Drug

The PNP personnel of Mahayag Municipal Police Station led by PO3 Arlie M Gumba, Team Leader, under the supervision of PCI HOMER T DUMALAG, Chief of Police, conducted a buy-bust operation at Mabanag Mountain Spring Resort, Barangay Tuboran, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur on August 12, 2016 at about 3:45 PM. The operation resulted to the arrest of suspect Jasper Montealto y Oliverio, 36 years old, single, resident of Purok 2, Barangay DCM, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur. Confiscated from his possession and control were the following: Three (3) small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be shabu; One (1) piece rolled aluminium foil; and  Three (3) pieces one hundred peso bills with serial numbers GQ604607, MM374836 and XT066960. The suspect is now temporarily detained at Mahayag MPS while an inquest case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) is prepared for filing in court.

On Illegal Fishing
The PNP personnel of Margosatubig Municipal Police Station led by PCI ANDREW T LIMOD, Chief of Police, together with personnel of Philippine Navy led by PO2 Reynaldo V. Cordero and personnel from Philippine Coast guard led by PO2 Willy P. Pardillo, conducted joint seaborne patrol operation at the sea waters of Dumanquillas Bay of Margosatubig, Vencinzu Sagun, and Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur at about 6:00 AM of August 12, 2016. The operation resulted to the confiscation of one (1) fishing boat locally known as “Wak-Wak” and arrest of its four (4) crews, namely: Mark Elizer Camins Y Gabas, 24 years old, male, single; Roque Abadan Y Villanueva, 47 years old, male, married; Jayrold Gallardo Y Camins, 29 years old, married, fisherman; and  Roberto Ortega Y Recomedo, 24 years old, single, all fishermen, all residents of Purok Daisy 2, Poblacion Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur. The fishing boat was owned by Arcel Andujar y Camins, 32 years old, married, former OFW, and resident of Purok Daisy 2, Poblacion Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur. Confiscated from the possession and control of the crews were the following:  one (1) improvised dynamite without blasting cap; one (1) fine mesh net; and one (1) Fishing boat. Confiscated items now under the custody Margosatubig MPS for proper disposition of the case.

Neutralization Of Wanted Person

The PNP elements of Dumalinao Municipal Police Station led by PO3 Jigger O Bagalando – Intel Operative under the direct supervision of PCI LEE ERIC SALE HUMPA- COP together with PNP elements of Ramon Magsaysay MPS successfully arrested one Glesser Ramilete y Salinas Aka “Tingmay” , 19 years old and a resident of Purok Dancing Lady, San Agustin, Dumalinao, ZDS charged with (2) crimes :  Attempted Murder with CC. No. 12896-2k15 and Rape with Sexual assault with CC.No. 12897-2k16, issued and signed by Presiding Judge Romeo Descallar of RTC branch 19, Pagadian City. Subject person was successfully arrested at Prk.7, Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur at around 2:30 Pm of August 05, 2016. Total bail recommended for the (2) crime amounted to P 240,000.00. Respondent is now in the custody of this office for proper disposition while awaiting commitment order from the issuing court.

Shooting Incident at Purok 5, Barangay Biray, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur on August 09, 2016 at about 12:05 PM. The victim identified as Domingo, Modesto Costa, 34 years old, married, and Barangay Chairman of Biray, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot several times by an unidentified suspects using M16 Rifle, Carbine and Caliber 45 pistol based on the recovered fired cartridge case of said firearms. The victim sustained several gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body which resulted to this instantaneous death. The suspects fled towards unknown direction after the incident, while PNP personnel of Dinas MPS still conducting thorough investigation and operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspects.

Shooting Incident at Purok Gemilina, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur on August 09, 2016 at about 4:45 PM. The victim identified as Antonio Berioso Jr. Y Singedas, 41 years, male, married, security guard of Pichel Security and Detective Agency, and presently assigned at Veterans Bank- Pagadian Branch, and resident of Purok San Franciso, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City. The victim was shot several times by an unidentified Motorcycle riding criminals using caliber 45 pistols based on the recovered fired cartridge case of same caliber. Victim sustained gunshot wounds on his head, chest, neck, and back portion of his body that resulted to his instantaneous death. The suspects fled towards unknown direction after the incident on board single MC XRM 125, color red, and without plate number. PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted thorough investigation and follow-up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspects.

Suicide Incident

Alleged Suicide Incident transpired at Purok Subida, Dao, Pagadian City at about 10:35 AM of August 10, 2016 wherein the victim identified as Charlie Tenebroso Bolleno, 33 years old, male, jobless, with live in partner. The said victim was found dead by Arvin Caliso, Purok President of the aforesaid place hanged inside the victim’s house with the use of a nylon rope tied on his neck. Investigation disclosed that sometimes on August 8, 2016, the victim and his live in partner Nelly Acojido Esparaguera, 37 years old, Barangay Health Worker had a heated argument that resulted to their separation and Nelly left the victim going to her mother’s house. Recovered at the crime scene a piece of paper believed to be a suicide note which reads, “Pasayloa ko sa akong mga sala nimo tanan Nel henaot mapasaylo ko nemo aling” was found on top of a plastic cabinet inside the house. The cadaver of the victim now lies at Gamalinda Funeral Homes, Tuburan, Pagadian City. Investigator on Case is PO1 Renji R Narciso with Contact number 09187352393.

Hacking Incident

Hacking Incident occurred at around 07:27 PM of August 10, 2016 in Barangay Baloboa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur informing, wherein victim identified as Edwin Suson Y Actoy, 47, married and a resident of Purok Rosas, Baloboan, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspect also identify as Ramon Verallo a resident of same place. PNP elements of Dumalinao MPS led by PO3 Joel Cabaluna proceeded on above-mentioned place to verify said report and for the possible arrest of the suspect.

Vehicular accident occurred along national highway of Barangay Timuay Danda, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 11:00 o’clock in the morning of August 10, 2016. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that one (1) xrm color black/silver with no plate number attached driven by alfrederick mendoza y algores a resident of brgy san jose imelda, zsp was travelling en route from national highway of brgy timuay danda bound for kabasalan proper and upon reaching at the abovementioned place the xrm 125 was kicked by the driver of smash 110 color black with no plate number attached. as a result thereof, the driver of single xrm crashed on the road and sustained minor injuries on the different parts of his body and immediately brought to pathfinder estate hospital for immediate medical attention. Further, Kabasalan mps conducted pursuit operation to the fleeing suspect for possible identification and arrest for filing of appropriate charges. PNP personnel of Pitogo MPS led by Pinsp Orlyn P Leyte, Officer-In-Charge, conducted police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at Purok 1, Barangay San Isidro, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur on August 09, 2016 at about 10:20 AM. The operation resulted to the arrest of Enrique Endig y Dalaota A.K.A. Eking Endig, 51 years old, married, driver by occupation, and resident of Purok 1, Barangay San Isidro, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur. The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Attempted murder, docketed under criminal case number 16-028, issued by Hon. Judge Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge of Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur dated July 14, 2016 with bail bond recommended of P120,000 for his temporary liberty. PNP Personnel of Dinas MPS led by SPO4 Panchito A Pacuma, MESPO conducted police operation at Barangay Nangka, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur on August 09, 2016 at about 11:30 AM. The operation resulted to the arrest of Alex Engito Icat, 42 years old, married, farmer, and resident of the above-mentioned place. The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Concubinage, docketed under criminal case number 1753-D, issued by Hon. Maria Teresa R Pangilinan, Presiding Judge, MCTC San Miguel- Dinas- Lapuyan Branch, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur dated  July 28, 2016. The accused is now temporarily detained at Dinas MPS lock-up cell while awaiting commitment order from the court.

Arrest of Wanted Person

The elements of Pagadian City Police Station led by SPO3 Carlos Donggon Omentic, warrant server conducted police operation at Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City at about 1:30 PM of August 10, 2016. Arrested was identified as Merlie M. Tuttuh, 46 years old, female, married businesswoman, a resident of Prk. Fatima Dao Pagadian City. This by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest duly issued and signed by Hon. Romeo T. Descallar Presiding Judge of 9th RTC, Branch 19, Pagadian City for crime of Estafa under Art 315 par 1(b) of the Revised Penal Code, under criminal case number 12899-2K16. Recommended bail bond for his temporary liberty is PHP 40,000.00. The said suspect is now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station lock-up cell for proper disposition.

RA 7610 Violator Held in Ramon Magsaysay

The elements of Ramon Magsaysay MPS led by SPO4 Leonardo Rosal Godinez at Barangay Eastern Bobongan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 AM of August 10, 2016 identified as Marjune englis Saliot, 24, male, single, farmer, a resident of Purok 5, Brgy. Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest duly issued and signed by Hon. Analyn F. Ramas Costanilla, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur charged for the crime of Maltreatment under Art. 266 of the RPC in relation to the provision of R.A. 7610 (child abuse), docketed in Criminal Case No. 16-10, 1335, dated August 1, 2016.  Recommended bail bond for his temporary liberty is PHP 60, 000.00.  The said accused is now temporarily detained at said police station lock-up cell for proper disposition.

REPORT SHOOTING INCIDENT

please be informed that on august 1, 2016 at about 9:20 am, a shooting incident was transpired at public market area of Poblacion B, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. the victim was identified as Richel Dehigasion Galupar, male, 51 years old, married, a resident of the afore-mentioned place was shot by an unidentified suspect. Initial investigation disclosed that while the victim is sitting beside a billiard table, unidentified person shot the former several times with the used of caliber .45 and caliber 9mm pistol based on the empty shells recovered at the crime scene. Victim sustained gunshot wounds on his head and body that caused his instantaneous death. The suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident on board on a motorcycle. Midsalip MPS is conducting hot pursuit operation and follow-up investigation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspect.

Please be informed that on August 1, 2016 at about 9:00 AM, PNP personnel of Aurora Municipal Police Station led by PSI HEIDEL B TE-ELAN, OIC conducted tedious negotiation against wanted person at Purok Mahogany, Barangay in-road, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. the operation resulted to the voluntary surrender of Jerry Durens Canoog, 24 years old, with live in partner, farmer, a resident of Purok Mahogany, Barangay in-road, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. subject person has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder, docketed under Criminal Case Number 12-10-847, issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with no bail bond recommended. Subject person is temporarily detained at Aurora MPS lock-up cell for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

A wanted person identified as JERRY CANOOG y DURENS, 24 years old, with live-in partner, farmer and a resident of Purok Maghanoy, Barangay Inroad, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur voluntarily surrendered to the elements of Aurora Municipal Police Station led by PSI HEIDEL B TE-ELAN, OIC after a tedious negotiation at said place. Subject has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of MURDER docketed under CC NR 12-10-847 duly issued and signed by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 30, Aurora, ZDS with no bail recommended.
