REPORTED INCIDENT - March 31, 2017

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired along the National Highway, Purok Bajada, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City, at about 5:20 AM of March 30, 2017. The victim was identified as Rene Bebangco Aranez, 34 years old, male, married, tricycle driver and a resident of Purok Mauswagon, Barangay Banale, Pagadian City. Investigation conducted disclosed that victim was driving on his passenger tricycle traversing the unlighted part of National Highway, Barangay Bajada, Dao, Pagadian City was shot several times from behind by unidentified riding in tandem suspect.  Victim sustained gunshot wounds at the left portion of the head, left neck, left abdomen, right & left arms that caused his untimely death. Recovered from the crimes scene were three (3) pieces fired cartridge for caliber .45 and three (3) pieces of deformed slugs. PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and for possible arrest of the suspect. Investigator on case is Po3 Joel Limbo with contact number 09101750106.

Shooting Incident

SOMINOT - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 2, Barangay Upper Sicpao, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:10 PM of March 30, 2017. The victim was identified as Edilbert G. Romagos, 33 years old, married, carpenter and resident of Purok 6, Tungawan, Sominot. He was shot several times by unidentified suspect using .45 caliber pistol based on the empty shells recovered in the crime scene. Victim sustained gunshot wound on his left arm thru and his body and was immediately rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Hospital, Dao, Pagadian City for medical attention. Elements of Sominot MPS conducted follow-up investigation to determine the motive and possible identification and arrest the suspect. 

Report on Missing Person

PAGADIAN CITY - One Aljon Magang, male, legal age, security guard, and a resident of Purok Makabibihag 2, Santiago Dist., Pagadian City came to Pagadian City Police Station at about 4:30 AM of March 30, 2017and reported that her daughter Angeline Magang, 15 years old, female, single, and a resident of the same place left their house without permission at around 11:00 AM of March 29, 2017 and failed to return home.  further, he added that prior to the said incident, they had a heated argument due to the reason that his daughter is no longer attending school classes and he expected that his daughter will be graduated this coming April 6, 2017, the family exerted diligent efforts to locate the whereabouts but nowhere to be found.

Campaign against illegal Gambling

DINAS - PNP elements of Dinas MPS and Barangay Officials conducted police operation after an alleged horse fighting was reported at Purok Marang, Barangay Kinakap, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 PM of March 30, 2017. Operating units personally caught in the act two (2) male horses fighting, owned by Edwin Albelda Neri, 41 years of age, married and a residence of Purok Avocado, Barangay Kinakap, Dinas, and Alberto Rolona Malalis, 67 years of age, married and a residence of Barangay Sumpotan, Dinas. Both suspects are now temporarily detained at Dinas MPS while preparing appropriate charges to be file in court.

REPORTED INCIDENT - March 29, 2017

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Barangay Kalasan, Pagadian City at about 7:30 PM of March 28, 2017. The victim was identified as Ricardo Cabalida Rabaca, 38 years old, male, married, and resident of Purok 5, Barangay Kalasan, Pagadian City. He sustained several gunshot wounds on different parts of the body which resulted to his instantaneous death. initial investigations disclosed that the victim and certain albert had a heated argument regarding a weight scale wherein the latter was looking for that weighing scale according to the victim’s daughter named angel Mae Sevillejo Rabaca, who witness the incident said that when her father took ride on the single motorcycle, a certain albert also driving his motorcycle suddenly block the way which forced the victim to stop. At that juncture, another motorcycle with two (2) unidentified male person disembarked and approached her father. The driver of the said single motorcycle holds the head of his father and right then, the back rider shot the victim several times. the victim was able to run a few meters away, but the suspect chased him and followed by several shots until it lie down to the ground. The perpetrators run away and followed by a certain Albert with same direction after the incident. The victim was brought to nearby hospital, but declared dead on arrival by attending physician. The responding PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station were able to recover six (6) pieces of empty shell of caliber .45 pistol and conducted follow up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect, the possible motive of the incident is believed to be personal grudge.

Shooting Incident

PITOGO - Shooting incident transpired at Videoke House located at Public Market Pitogo Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 PM of March 28, 2017. Investigation conducted disclosed that a group of fishermen were having a drinking spree at said Videoke own by Nening Pacatang and enjoyed chatting each other when suddenly a gunshot roar which is cause to panic everybody inside and hiding at the back portion of the unlighted premises. The victim identified as Rolly Tois Guiting, 17 years old, fisherman and resident of Brgy Lunib, V Zagun, stumbled on the floor who sustained gunshot wound at his lower jaw that was shot by unidentified perpetrator. The suspect fled to unknown direction after the commission of the crime. The victim was immediately brought to Pitogo Rural Health Center for medication. Recovered from the crime is scene one (1) empty shell for caliber 45 pistol. PNP personnel of Pitogo MPS conducted follow up investigation for possible identification and arrest of the suspect.

Shooting Incident

MOLAVE - Shooting incident transpired at along the road of Purok Olive, Barangay Bogo Capalaran, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 PM of March 28, 2017, wherein the victim identified as Roger Torquedo Edullantes, 42 years old, male, married, farmer by occupation and resident of Purok 6, Brgy. Lower Liason, Tambulig was shot by unidentified suspect. Investigation conducted disclosed that victim was on his way home driving his single yamaha crypton motorcycle, and was followed by another single motorcycle driven by unidentified suspect. Upon reaching the aforementioned place of incident, said suspect who drove his single motorcycle came closer to the victim and thereafter shot the victim twice using a caliber .45 pistols based on two (2) spent shells of said caliber recovered at the crime scene. Afterwards, the unidentified suspect fled to the area riding his single motorcycle towards barangay center proper. Victim sustained gunshot wounds on the different parts on his body and immediately rushed by his relatives to Salug Valley Medical Center for immediate treatment but was later pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician. Motive of the incident believed to be personal grudge. PNP elements of Molave Police Station are still conducting follow-up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect.

Robbery Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Robbery incident transpired at JKLEM enterprises (5k) situated at Purok Makugihon II Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 am of march 28, 2017owned and managed by Melinda Panaman Alipaopao, 35 years old, female, single, a resident of Purok Balatong, Barangay Kahayagan, Pagadian City. Initial investigations disclosed that the owner discovered the vault was empty, according to the owner the vault it contains the cash amounting to eight hundred thousand pesos (p 800, 000.00) and believed to be stolen by unidentified person. Further, suspect forcibly destroyed and gained entry at the flooring of the Room (9) Of Pulmones Lodging House located at 2nd floor of the same establishment. PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS conducted follow up investigation for possible recovered the stolen item and arrest of the suspect.

Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO - Vehicular traffic accident transpired at along the national highway of Purok Panghiusa, Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:20 pm of march 28, 2017 wherein Mitsubishi mini Pajero with plate number KFU 435 driven by Horale Paul Tenaja Anlap, 54 years old, married, SB member of Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur was accidentally bumped a pedestrian identified as venson gumapal silagan, 15 years old, student, resident of Purok Kalapukan, Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that the said vehicle traversing from Bayog Zamboanga Del Sur bound to Pagadian City, that upon reaching place of incident at Purok Panaghiusa, Barangay Sumadat, Zamboanga Del Sur, The victim suddenly crossed the road unnoticed the incoming vehicle that resulted the said vehicle accidentally bumped the victim. The said driver immediately rushed the victim to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for medication.

Vehicular Traffic Accident

AURORA - Vehicular traffic accident transpired at Purok Sta. Cruz, Brgy Libertad, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 PM of March 28, 2017, wherein passenger van, color white, bearing plate no. ANA 6748, was accidentally bumped a pedestrian identified as Heliomar Paglinawan Alipan, 24 years old, laborer and a resident of the aforesaid place. initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 9:00 PM of the same date the victim walking beside the road and was accidentally bumped the said vehicle was travelling from Pagadian City going to Cagayan De Oro who overtook the other vehicle.as result hereof, the victim sustained head and body injury then was brought to aurora community emergency hospital located at Barangay Cabilinan, Aurora, for immediate medication but pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician. the driver lock the steering wheel and abandon his driven vehicle at the center of the road and fled to unknown direction while the two (2) air bag of the passenger van exploded and incurred damages to wit; windshield, bumper, right taillight cover and left headlight. PNP elements of Aurora MPS conducted follow up operation and investigation for possible arrest of the said driver.

MARGOSATUBIG - Combined elements of San Miguel MPS, PDEA, Intel Branch-Zamboanga Del Sur PPO and Margosatubig MPS conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Imelda, Poblacion, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 PM of March 27, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Morcid Sanday (Top 6 HVT of Margosatubig MPS), 23 years old, married, and a resident of Cadena De Amor, Poblacion, Margosatubig. Confiscated from his possession and control were; one (1) small sachet of shabu, 1 medium sachet of shabu and three hundred pesos (php 300.00) buy-bust money. Arrested subject person is presently detained at San Miguel MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.

MARGOSATUBIG - Combined elements of Margosatubig MPS and PDEA conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Santan, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of March 27, 2017. This led to the arrest of Edmer Gamoc De Guzman, 39 years old, ex-army, married, and a resident of Purok Ilang-Ilang, Poblacion, Margosatubig. Confiscated from his possession were; 1 sachet of shabu and five hundred pesos (Php500.00) buy-bust money. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Margosatubig MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Man Held for Carrying Unlicensed Firearm

PAGADIAN CITY - Operatives of Pagadian Police Station conducted a seminar at about 11:50 AM of March 28, 2017 on the basic gun safety rules to the barangay tanods of Barangay Santa Lucia, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur.  While facilitated the said seminar, Emilio Blaza Paclibar, 61 years old, male, married, and a resident of Purok Bear Brand, Gatas District, Pagadian City, went to their presence and was asking for the barangay captain if he was around. Yet, the Barangay Captain of the said barangay was not around, thus he was being entertained by the Barangay Kagawad Francis Clyde Mondarte. Suspect introduces himself as an affiliated of criminal investigation and detection group CIDG. However, said person asked his identification card to prove that he was an affiliated of CIDG, however the said person couldn’t present any identification. On the other hand suspect had a sling bag that was slung on his shoulder and that PNP personnel of said station asking him to open the same for he was doubted that it might have a gun inside for it was heavy by looking at it. Thus by the time that suspect opened his sling bag, there was a short firearm inside and asked his licensed to carry of that firearm but he couldn’t present. Recovered from the possession and control one (1) caliber 9mm pistol bearing the serial number PNP 46542 with two (2) magazine assembly with twenty four (24) live ammunitions. The suspect is now temporarily detained at the Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENT - March 28, 2017

Hacking Incident

MIDSALIP - Hacking incident has transpired at Purok 6, Barangay Lumponid, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. At about 1:45 PM of March 27, 2017. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as Marissa Etol Ligan, 20 years old, married, who was hacked by Joan Andam Lumacad, 26 years old, single, both residents of the above-mentioned place. Further investigation disclosed that at about 11:00 am of the same day, the victim and the suspect were cooking sweet potatoes and with no apparent reason, the suspect hacked the victim. Victim sustained four hacked wounds on the different parts of her body and immediately brought to Midsalip Infirmary Hospital for immediate treatment and later transferred to Mhars General Hospital, Ozamis City for further treatment. The suspect was arrested by Flavio Maglangit Mamalias, Barangay Kagawad of the said place and later turned-over to the responding team of Midsalip MPS. Moreover, the suspect is two months postpartum and has a difficulty of sleeping for the past nights. Midsalip MPS believe that the suspect has a psychiatric problem. Suspect is temporarily detained at Midsalip MPS for proper disposition.

Stabbing Incident

AURORA - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Cabatingan, Barangay Monte Alegre, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur on March 27, 2017 at about 4:10 PM wherein the victim identified as Joel Ingles Eramis, 43 years old, married, a resident of Barangay Bambong Dako, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur who was stabbed by Kevin Almanoche Bunal, 32 years old, single, a resident of the above-mentioned place. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim was having a drinking session together with his neighbor at the house of Junjill Magdadaro of the above-mentioned place.  At about 3:35 pm of the same date, the suspect arrived and joined the group. Thereafter, an argument ensued between them that resulted in stabbing. Victim sustained a lone stabbed wound on the back portion of his body and immediately brought to Rural Health Unit (RHU) located at Barangay Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur for treatment while the suspect was arrested and brought to aurora mps for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENT - March 27, 2017

Stabbing Incident

LABANGAN - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok 2, Barangay Bokong, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:00 PM of March 26, 2017, wherein victim identified as Solomon Delloro, 65 years old, male, widow and a resident of the above-mentioned place was stabbed to death by two (2) unidentified suspects. Investigation conducted disclosed that based on the statement of the live-in partner of the victim identified as Hermenia Mabini the victim together with two (2) unidentified suspects took their lunch inside the victim’s house. Minutes later, a short conversation ensued between the victim and suspects and without any apparent reasons stabbed the victim several times that sustained eight (8) stabbed wounds on his body that resulted to his instantaneous death. Suspects fled towards unknown direction. Cadaver now lies at Gamalinda Funeral Homes, Pagadian City. Labangan MPS now conducted thorough investigation to determine the motive and for possible arrest of the suspects.

Fire Incident

MOLAVE - Fire incident took place at Lapu-Lapu Street, Purok Gumamela, Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:00 pm on march 26, 2017wherein the residential houses of Mrs. Cristita Piedad Arnejo And Mrs. Rose Alquizar of the above-mentioned place were razed to ground. Investigation conducted disclosed that the fire started at the room of the house of Mrs. Cristita P Arnejo and escalated at the nearby residential house of Mrs. Rose Alquizar. Both houses were made of light materials. fire out was declared by the BFP personnel around 12:15 PM of same date, no reported injured during the incident and the estimated cost of damaged amounted to more or less (Php 150,000.00). PNP personnel of Molave MPS in coordination with BFP-Molave conducted thorough investigation to possibly determine the cause of fire.

Arrest of Wanted Person

MIDSALIP - Personnel of Midsalip MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok Bagong Silang, Poblacion A, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:15 PM of March 26, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Necquel Macawala, 25 years old, single and resident of Purok Maharlika, Poblacion A, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of acts of lasciviousness in relation to ra 7610, docketed under cc# 17-10, 1411, issued by Hon. Analyn F.Ramas Costanilla, Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with bail bond recommended of (Php 170,000.00). Subject person is now temporarily detained at Midsalip MPS awaiting court disposition.

Man Arrested for Physical Injuries

PAGADIAN CITY - 1^st Lieutenant Roderick N Alcantara, Commanding Officer, Charlie Company, 53ib with temporary patrol base at Engineering Office, Pagadian City, together with his troops brought the living body of Romy Villadar Catipay, 37 years old, male, single, and a resident Of Purok Mauswagon, Barangay Banale, Pagadian City. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at around 5:30 PM of March 26, 2017 Jhonny Villadar Catipay, 43 years old, male, married, resident of said place was allegedly stoned by his younger brother/suspect Romy Villadar Catipay at his residence of same place. Thereafter, the suspect left the place. at around 5:45 PM of same date, the suspect came back together with his cousin identified as Anthony Villadar, 38 years old, male, single, same place and allegedly pulled-out his short firearm and pointed it towards the victim. fortunately, the victim was able to disarmed the suspect and coincidentally Private First Class Raymond Ribo Ruiz, 30 years old, male, single, AFP member presently assigned at Charlie Coy, 53ib, 1id, PA temporary base at Engineering Office, Pagadian City who was near the area responded and successfully arrested the subject Romy while his cousin Anthony was able to escaped and fled towards unknown direction. Recovered from the possession, one caliber 45 pistol, 1911a1 norinco, bearing serial number 635129 with one magazine assembly loaded with live ammunition. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENT – March 25, 2017

Vehicular Traffic Accident

JOSEFINA - Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired at transpired at the hilly road of Purok 4, BrgyDawa, Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur at about 2:45 PM of March 24, 2017,wherein Mitsubishi forward truck, color green driven by Lazaro Realse Gumaid, 57 years old, married and a resident of Sitio Sto. Niño, Brgy. Gumahan, Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur and his truck man passenger BiboyMagadan, 22 years old, single, a resident of Brgy. Bag-ong Argao, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur and other passenger. Investigation conducted disclosed that the said vehicle loaded of more or less five hundred (500) hallow blocks, Upon reaching the place of incident said truck was loses his control due to the brake malfunction the said truck man passenger jumped-off while forward truck fell down and hit the said victim that resulted to his instantaneous death. The driver together with other passenger sustained injuries and was brought to Municipal Rural Health Unit of Josefina municipality for medical treatment. Thereafter, said driver was brought to Josefina MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

AURORA - Elements of Aurora MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok 2 Brgy. Lingating, Baungon, Bukidnon at about 10:30 PM of March 24, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Alberto BuotPakas, 50 years old a resident of Purok 2 Brgy. Lingating, Baungon, Bukidnon was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Judge Jaime Caberte, of RTC 9th Judicial Region Branch 30 of Aurora Zamboanga del Sur for the crime of Qualified Theft with CC # 11-10,810 with recommended bail bond of 40,000 pesos. Accused is now temporarily detained at Aurora MPS while waiting the commitment order from the issuing court.

REPORTED INCIDENT - March 17, 2017

Drowning Incident

TABINA - Drowning incident occurred at the creek of Purok Hendang in Barangay Doña Josefina, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur. The dead body was already lifted from the said creek by his relatives when the Tabina Police arrived. The victim was identified as Lossantos Lomocso Paglinawan, 45 years old, single, farmer and resident of said place. Accordingly, at about 6:00 AM of March 16, 2017, the victim was taking a bath/washing his horse at the said creek. The mother of the victim Felisa L Paglinawan worried for the victim failed to return home. She went to the creek and found her son lifeless and floating at the said creek and believed that his illness (epilepsy) was its cause. Accordingly, his son suffers periodic seizures that resulted to the said incident.

Arrest of Wanted Person

DINAS - Operatives of Dinas MPS conducted police operation on wanted person (service of arrest warrant) at Purok 5, Barangay Sungoy, San Padlo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 AM of March 16, 2017. The operation resulted to the arrest of Roldan Delasilna Albarico, resident of said place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of sec. 5 (a) of R.A. 9262 docketed under cc# 13295-2k17, issued by Hon. Benjamin R. Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge Of Rtc 9, Branch 22 Pagadian City On February 8, 2017 with bail bond recommended amounted to sixty thousand pesos (Php 60,000.00). Arrested subject person is presently detained at Dinas Municipal Police Station.

REPORTED INCIDENT - March 16, 2017

Ransack Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Ransack incident took place at the rented house of Sargent Michael Joy Villanueva Magsino, 40 years old, married, a member of the 2nd fab based at Tagum City and a resident of 0379 Sabellano Street, Lumbia District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein his rented room under nacion boarding house situated at Roxas Street, Barangay Sta. Maria, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur was ransacked by unidentified persons. Initial investigation disclosed that at around 4:55 AM of March 15, 2017, when SSgt Magsino was about to go out for a jog, he found out that the door of his room at the said boarding house was already opened. When he tried to verify inside his room, he found out that some of his personal belongings were already missing to wit: one (1) wallet containing assorted government identification cards, Samsung tablet worth six thousand (₱6,000.00) pesos, cellular phone (apple brand) worth thirteen thousand (₱13,000.00) pesos and cash amounting to seven thousand (₱7,000.00) pesos. Further investigation revealed that the suspects gained entrance at the door as the victim believed that he forgot to lock it. Elements of Pagadian City Police Station are still conducting follow-up investigation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects.

Arrest of Wanted Person

TAMBULIG - Combined operatives of Sindangan MPS and Tambulig MPS conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Bitoon, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:50 AM of March 15, 2017. Arrested was Jerson Pabatang Gomez, 35 years old, married, a resident of Barangay Limamaan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of frustrated murder docketed under criminal case number 2006-10-1843 issued by Hon. Loreto C. Quinto, Presiding Judge Of Branch 23, 9th Judicial Region, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur Dated June 13, 2007, with recommended bail bond of twenty four thousand (₱24,000.00) pesos. Arrested person was brought to Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS – March 15, 2017

Hacking Incident

TIGBAO - Hacking incident occurred particularly at purok 7, Barangay Maragang, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8: 30 PM of March 13, 2017. The victim was rushed to Pagadian City Hospital and later identified as Roy Gregorio Jaime A.K.A “Dongdong” of legal age, married, a resident of the same place. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City. Suspects were identified as Manuel Cuativo Saniel Sr., 57 years old, farmer, Josephine Saniel, 45 years old, (spouse) and their son-in-law Rey Canete Dequito alias “toto”, 33 years old, both of same places. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was having a drinking session at the house of his uncle Lito Gregorio on his way home and passed by at the house of the suspects were Josephine Saniel invite the victim were also having a drinking session, a minutes later they were having a heated altercation suddenly suspect Rey Dequito boxed the victim while Manuel Saniel Sr, grabbed a scythe “sanggot” and hacked the victim hitting on the different parts of his body that cause of his untimely death. Recovered from the scene were; scythe “sanggot” and 2 pieces hard wood sticks. Vehicular Traffic Accident

GUIPOS - Vehicular traffic accident transpired along National Highway particularly at Purok Roxas, Balongating, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:15 PM of March 13, 2017, wherein two (2) vehicle involved, (v1) Honda wave single motor, color blue and white combination with no plate number driven by Maximo Orteza Mangiran, 54 years old, married, a resident of Purok Siblat, Lakewood and (v2) Honda city, color grey with plate number kgu-541, driven by Ramlette Plaza Crismar, 42 years old, married and a resident of Purok, Bonifacio, Balongating, Guipos. Initial investigation conducted by the responding PNP element of Guipos Municipal Police Station disclosed that while the v1 Honda wave single motor was traversing from Sitio Kawayan, Barangay Balongating, Guipos going to Poblacion Guipos upon reaching at the place of incident v2 Honda city traversing fast in an opposite direction and accidentally bumped in front portion of the v2. As a result, the driver of v1 sustained serious physical injuries and immediately brought to Provincial Hospital Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for medical treatment but pronounce dead on arrival by the attending doctor. The driver of honda city and vehicle was brought to Guipos Municipal Police Station for investigation.

The accused was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of frustrated homicide docketed under cc# 2006-10-1843, issued by Hon. Loreto C. Quinto, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur, and Dated June 13, 2007. The operation resulted to the arrest of two wanted persons identified as Welhem Ubod Magno A.K.A “Pablo”, 21 years old, single, laborer and Areil Magno Burlaos A.K.A “Titing”, 21 years old, single, laborer, both a resident of Barangay Libertad, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Both suspects were arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of qualified malicious mischief with multiple slight physical injuries docketed under cc# 3714, issued by Hon. Ronald C. Tollentino, Acting Presiding Judge of MTC, Branch 01, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. The recommended bail bond is ten thousand pesos (php10, 000.00) each. Stabbing Incident

TAMBULIG - Stabbing incident occurred at Barangay Gabunon, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Roberto Macalisang Apag, 69 years old, married, farmer by occupation. He was stabbed by his son identified as Joseph Rubio Apag Aka Loloy, 25 years old, single, jobless both residents of the above mentioned place. Initial investigation disclosed that on or about 10:00 PM of March 12, 2017, the victim arrived home under the influence of intoxicating liquor uttering slanderous words that prompted the suspect to get angry. The suspect got a bolo and stabbed the victim several times that caused his instantaneous death. The suspect is temporarily detained at Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

Cadaver Found

JOSEFINA - An unidentified cadaver was discovered at Purok 1, Barangay Dawa, Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:30 PM of March 13, 2017. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as Vicente Damason Ebao, 48 years old, married, a resident of Sitio Malunay, Barangay Dawa, Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur who was hit by a hard object on his head that resulted on his untimely death. The suspect was later identified as Jurey Pamaga Manngi, 27 years old, single, a resident of the above mentioned barangay. The suspect is temporarily detained at Josefina MPS for proper disposition.

SAN PABLO - Operatives of San Pablo MPS conducted police assistance at about 9:00 AM of March 13, 2017 at Barangay Kalilangan, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur after a certain Noel Hiolen Megallon, 30 years old, single, got wild armed with a revolver. Initial investigation disclosed that Rudy Fuentes Dagohoy, 41 years old, married, a Barangay Kagawad of the said place, while cropping his coconut a certain Noel Megallon got angry to the latter and armed with unlicensed caliber .38 revolvers until it was disarmed by Mr Rudy Dagohoy and properly turn over to the responding personnel of San Pablo MPS. Further, the suspect and the confiscated caliber .38 revolver loaded with six (6) rounds of ammunition live was brought to San Pablo MPS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

SAN MIGUEL - Shooting incident that transpired at Purok 6, Barangay Concepcion, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:00 PM on March 12, 2017. San Miguel MPS identified the victim as Wilfredo Habla Morales, 54, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 4, Concepcion, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. Victim was shot to death by a group of young armed men believed to be member of Local Communist Movement (LCM) using caliber .45 pistol based on the empty shell that was turned over to the investigating team. Elements of San Miguel MPS conducted follow up investigation for possible arrest of the suspects. Motive of the incident believed that the victim is confidential informant of AFP assigned in the area. Investigator on case is Po3 Joenard F Caballero with CP number 09108192360.

DIMATALING - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 6, Barangay Josefina, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:45 PM of March 12, 2017. Dimataling MPS identified the alleged victim as Maximo Adlawun Cortez, 49 years old, married, farmer and a resident of above-mentioned place, who was shot to death by unidentified suspects. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim together with his wife Gina Apao Cortez, were walking along the Barangay Road from Purok 5 going to their home at Purok 6, however, upon reaching at Purok 2 one (1) suspect followed behind and without provocation suddenly shot the victim several times using kg9 caliber based on the seven (7) 9mm empty shells recovered at the crime scene. Victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of his body and on his head which resulted to his instantaneous death. The suspects fled to towards unknown direction.

Shooting Incident

MIDSALIP - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Canipay Norte, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 PM of March 11, 2017. The victim was identified as Bonifacio Barangan Gocon, 45 years old, widower, farmer and resident of same place was shot to death by two (2) an unidentified suspects using homemade shotgun. investigation disclosed that victim together with his children Henry Gocon, 14 years old and Gemma Gocon were walking on foot from Purok 3, Pablacion Canipay Norte, Midsalip, going to his residence of said place, upon reaching at the secluded area of purok 3, Barangay Canipay Norte, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur, unidentified persons armed with a homemade shotgun shot the victim. As a result, the victim sustained multiple pellet wounds on his body that caused his untimely death. The suspects fled towards unknown direction after the incident. PNP personnel of Midsalip MPS conducted thorough investigation and follow-up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspects.  Motive of the incident is yet to be determined.

PAGADIAN CITY - Operatives of Pagadian City Police Station conducted drug buy-bust operation at Integrated Bus Terminal, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur on march 10, 2017 at about 11:45 PM. The operation resulted in the arrest of Cirilo Potot, aka jay-r, of legal age; single a resident of Purok Gawad Kalinga, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City. Confiscated from his possession and control were: four (4) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu; one (1) double mint steel case color green and three (3) pieces of one hundred peso bills as marked money bearing serial numbers r582858, lv874751 and c439008. The suspect is now temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS lock-up cell, while appropriate case for violation of RA 9165 (comprehensive dangerous drug act of 2002) is now being prepared for filing in court.

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident that transpired in Purok 4, Barangay Dampalan, Pagadian City at about 5:00 PM of March 7, 2017. The Pagadian City Police Station identified the victims as Alipio Banogon Andus, 39 years old, male, married; Ariston Obaran Paroc, 46 years old, male, married and Julieto Bolo Candao, 28 years old, male, married, all residents of mentioned place. The Barangay Officials of said place turned-over  to the responding police investigators forty (40) empty shells of caliber 5.56 mm and a piece of yellow paper with handwritten message which the barangay officials collected as their initiative to preserve the evidence due to the arrival of some bystanders prior to the arrival of the team. The handwritten message was quote:  “para sa katawhan, rebolusyonaryong partimbaya! si areston barok gisilotan sa kamatayon gumikan sa krimen: 1. pagpangilog og yuta, ug 2. pagpapatay sa 4 ka tawo pinaagi sa pagsuhol mga gipatay: a. lito gasip b. honorato miadas jr. nahukman siya sa hukomang bayan niadtong marso 3, 2017 New people’s Army Zamboanga Del Sur Operations Command, Zamboanga Peninsula Region”. An interview on Merlin Paroc, wife of one of the victims, said that she together with his husband, Banogon Andus and Julieto Bolo Candao went home to the aforementioned Purok from their farm at about 2:30 PM of March 7, 2017, she noticed unidentified armed men numbering around ten (10) to fifteen (15) who were seated along the road. As she walked ahead of her husband and his two (2) companions, she was able to pass by the armed men when she heard gunshots toward her husband and his companions. The empty shells of caliber 5.56 mm were submitted to Zamboanga Del Sur PNP Crime Laboratory for ballistics examination and comparison.

Smuggled Cigarettes Apprehended

BAYOG - Operatives of Bayog Municipal Police Station conducted a mobile checkpoint at the junction of Barangay Kahayagan Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 AM on March 7, 2017. The operation resulted in the apprehension of Norwen Aguilar, 27 years old, married, resident of Purok Bougainvilla, Barangay Lower Baluran, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay. Said suspect drove a black xrm motorcycle without plate number, and failed to present pertinent motorcycle documents. The suspect was also carrying with him sixty (60) reams of assorted alleged smuggled cigarettes. Subject person was taken to Bayog MPS for investigation and proper disposition of this case.

Progress Report on Anti- Illegal Drug Operation and Serving of Warrant of Arrest against Pahad Andi

LAPUYAN - Please be informed that on March 6, 2017 at about 10:30 AM, joint operation by the elements of PIBZSPPO, Lapuyan MPS, ZSPPSC, PDEA9,12 MICO, 53RD IB, NISG MARGOS, RPSB 9 2MC, Margosatubig MPS, 903RD Maritime Police, Coast Guard, conducted task force manhunt charlie at Purok 6, Barangay Pampang, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur purposely to conduct law enforcement operation, a service of warrant of arrest and anti-illegal drug operation against Pahad Andi, Top 1 Most Wanted person and no.2 high valued target (regional level) and a criminal gang leader of andi group operating in Zamboanga Peninsula with warrant of arrest docketed under criminal case number 12-038 for the crimes of multiple murder and multiple frustrated murder. Subject person was positively sighted at Bar Pampang, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur by the pahad andi tracker team on or about 8:00 AM of March 6, 2017, particularly at the resident of his parents. Government forces were immediately dispatched to the place by land and boat. When subject person sensed the presence of the operating units, subject person immediately fired his gun towards the operating units that eventually led to firefight that lasted to more or less 30 minutes. Overwhelmed by the superiority of the government forces, subject withdrew to the sea. However, before withdrawal, he threw a hand grenade to the operating units which fortunately did not explode. While at the sea water, he managed to shoot it out with the operating troops, but he was hit on his head that resulted to his instantaneous death. Operating units failed to recover his dead body on that very day, despite effort to recovery same. Three (3) divers from the navy where utilized for search operation, but the effort was in vain. At about 11:40 PM of March 2017. EOD team led by Po3 Reuben Balido proceeded to the place of encounter upon the instruction of the undersigned and was able to recover at the crime scene one (1) unexploded PRB 423 fragmentation grenade. on March 7, 2017 at around 6:00 am search operation of the dead body of Pahad Andi was continued led by PSINSP  ROQUE HAMID, OIC, Lapuyan MPS together with the 53rd IB COY PA, led by Lt Rabino, and  Philippine Navy led by Po3 Cordero and the same was found floating  near the residence of his parents.  This office immediately called the assistance of the SOCO team led by PSINSP JARA to process the cadaver. SOCO team arrived at about 10:40 AM of March 07, 2017 and immediately processed the cadaver. The dead body of pahad andi sustained lone gunshot wound on his head which caused his death. Recovered from the cadaver were one (1) pistol holster and one (1) unit cell phone Nokia model 1230. recovered items are the following: one (1) cal. 45 pistol with defaced serial number, one (1) cal. 45 magazine with two (2) rounds of ammunition, prb 423 fragmentation grenade, four (4) sachets of suspected shabu, one (1) lighter, one (1) scooper, one (1) black bandolier back pack, one (1) PNP camouflage green uniform with pro ARMM logo and one (1) camouflage sling bag.

Recovered from his possession were: three (3) pieces heat sealed transparent sachet containing shabu that was place inside a mighty cigarette pack, one (1) heat sealed small transparent sachet containing shabu as buy bust item, four (4) pieces of one hundred peso (₱100.00) bill as buy bust money bearing serial number mj941858, two (2) pieces fifty peso (₱50.00) bill bearing serial number ve961717, one (1) tissue paper, one (1) wallet, six (6) pieces of  one hundred peso (₱100.00) bills, one (1) non-prof driver license, two (2) pieces Cebuano Lhuillier receipts, one (1) Comelec voters id, one (1) phil health member data record, one (1) pack mighty cigarette color red and one (1) disposable lighter color orange. The inventory of the confiscated items was witnessed by Hon. Eusebio Libron Jr. Barangay Councilor and Mr. Albert P Jamarolin Media Representative. Subject person and the confiscated items were brought to Labason MPS for proper disposition.

  

REPORTED INCIDENT - March 7, 2017

Suicide Incident

TUKURAN - Suicide incident transpired at Purok Alibangbang, Barangay Sto. Niño, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:20 PM of March 5, 2017. The victim identified as Diosdado Fernandez Zamora a.k.a. “pare”, 44 years old, widow, tricycle driver and resident of Purok Alibangbang, Barangay Santo Niño, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that victim was found hanging lifeless with rope tied on his neck inside his house by his son Ian Zamora around 3:00 pm of same date, victim was immediately rushed to Tukuran Rural Health Center for immediate medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival. Further investigation disclosed that victim experience emotional depression on the death of his wife last December 2016 as revealed by his brother. PNP personnel of Tukuran MPS conducted thorough investigation to determine whether there is foul play involved.

Suicide Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - A suicide incident transpired at Purok Alphine, Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:00 AM on March 6, 2017. The victim was identified as Ernie Daning Tubio, 25 years old, single, construction worker and temporarily residing at Aquino Boarding House, Purok Alphine, Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. investigation conducted disclosed that at about 12:15 AM of same date, Joana Aquino, owner of the boarding together with her family were able to discover the victim already hanging lifeless with rope tied on his neck inside his rented room particularly at the 2nd floor of said place. Further investigation revealed that on March 5, 2017 at about 9:00 pm, victim believed to be under the influence of liquor arrived in his rented room and called-up his girlfriend thru cellular phone call asking for forgiveness. at around 11:00 pm of same date, the owner of the boarding house and brother of the victim heard a sound inside his rented room, but same was ignored until an hour had passed, they discovered the victim hanging lifeless. Recovered from the scene was one (1) piece of two (2) meters’ blue rope and one (1) unit Acer cellphone containing suicide messages to his girlfriend. Cadaver now lies at Gamalinda Funelral Homes, Barangay Tuburan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Recovery of Rifle Grenade

DUMINGAG - The person of Arnel Bisadri, 15 years old, resident of Purok 2, Barangay Guitran, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur together with the member of police auxiliary in Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur turn-over one unit (1) rifle grenade to the PNP personnel of Dumingag MPS at about 11:00 AM on March 5, 2017. The rifle grenade was found by the above-mentioned person together with his friends while playing at the riverbank of Barangay Guitran, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 am of same date. At about 2:00 pm of same date, subject rifle grenade was subsequently turn-over to Po3 Rene Dagupan, Bomb Squad, Pagadian City Police Station. The EOD detonated the explosive at the Firing Range, Barangay Guitran, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS

Law Enforcement Operation in Lapuyan

LAPUYAN - Operatives of Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB-ZDS), Lapuyan MPS, Zamboanga Del Sur Public Safety Company (ZSPPSC), PDEA, NISG and 12^TH MICO conducted law enforcement operation at Brgy Pampang, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:50 AM of March 6, 2017 targeting and drug group/criminal gang Andi Group. During the operation, shootout was transpired between the government troops and the Andi Group for more or less thirty (30) minutes which resulted to the death of the suspect believed to be Fahad Andi (leader of criminal gang Andi Group) and wounding of two (2) PNP personnel in the person of PINSP ANJELO ACUZAR of ZSPPSC and PO2 Jerome Tare of PIB-ZDS. During the gunfight, Fahad Andi withdrew to the sea waters but still firing his gun toward the government troops; however, he was hit in different parts of his body and pinned down beneath the shoreline. The two wounded PNP personnel were already evacuated to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medical treatment and now in stable condition. This operation was covered by Coplan Pirata under the drug link diagram of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO. Fahad Andi is listed as the Top 2 High Value Target (regional level) at the same time the Top 1 Most Wanted Person (regional level). The Andi Group is involved in the proliferation of illegal drug in Lapuyan, Dinas, Margosatubig and other neighboring municipalities. The group also involved in kidnapping, gun for hire, robbery and extortion activities in Baganian Peninsula. The government troops are now conducting retrieval operation in the sea waters of Lapuyan to recover the cadaver of the suspect.  recovered items: one (1) cal. 45 pistol with defaced serial number, one (1) cal. 45 magazine with two live ammunition, one (1) PRB 423 fragmentation grenade, four (4) sachets of suspected shabu, one (1) lighter, one (1) scooper, one (1) black bandolier back pack, one (1) PNP camouflage green uniform with pro ARMM logo and one (1) camouflage sling bag.

RA 7610 Violator Arrested

DUMALINAO - Elements of San Pablo MPS conducted (OTBT) on the campaign against wanted person particularly at Barangay Rebokon, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 PM of March 6, 2017. This resulted to the successful arrest of Allan Am-Is Badida, 44 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Barangay Sagasan, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed under cc # 11629-2k14 for violation of R.A. 7610 issued by Honorable Benjamin R. Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge Of Regional Trial Court 9th Judicial Region Br 22, Pagadian City with bail recommended is hereby fixed at eighty thousand pesos (80,000.00). He is now temporarily detained at San Pablo MPS waiting the commitment order by the issuing court.

Homicide Suspect Arrested

PAGADIAN CITY - Operatives of Pagadian City Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Purok Kapalaran, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 07:00 PM of March 06, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Reynald Pereda Tumarong, 36 years old, married, painter of said place. Suspect has standing warrant of arrest issued by Hon Felix B Rodriquez Jr, Presiding Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Pagadian City Issued On March 02, 2017 docketed under cc# 13370-2k17 for the crime of homicide with bail bond recommended amounted to forty thousand pesos (Php 40,000.00). Arrested subject person is presently detained at said police station for proper disposition.

Imelda Drug Bust Operation

IMELDA - Personnel of Imelda MPS conducted buy bust operation against illegal drugs at Barangay Lower Baluran, Imelda, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:20 PM of March 6, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of 2 suspects identified as Sherlito Tingzon Valdehueza and Richard Paninbang Vasquez. Recovered and confiscated from their possession and control of Sherlito Valdehueza were 500 peso bill used as mark money and 2 sachets of small transparent plastic heat sealed containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. From Richard Vasquez were 3 small transparent plastic heats sealed containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, 1 pc lighter, 1 pc black wallet, 1 small aluminum foil. The search and seizure was witnessed by Hon. Julie Orong and Ricardo Resuelo, Both Brgy Kagawad of Brgy Lower Baluran, Imelda. Suspects and evidence confiscated were brought at Imelda MPS for proper disposition.
