INCIDENT REPORT - February 27, 2018

Shooting Incident

DUMINGAG - On February 25, 2018 at about 8:00 PM, a shooting incident transpired at Baranagy Salvador Dumingag Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that on or about 8:00 PM of February 25, 2018, victim Ladio Bayoy of legal age a Barangay Kagawad of said place, together with five (5) barangay Tanod conducted patrolling in their area of responsibility and waylaid more or less ten (10) unidentified armed men. As a result Ladio Bayoy was hit on his left leg and was brought by the responding Team from Alpha Coy 53rd IB Phil Army transported by K.M. vehicle to MARS Gen Hospital Ozamis City. Eventually the armed men left in the area noticing the presence of the responding team. Investigator on case is PO1 Mydell Pacalioga CP number 09153116550.

Dead Body Found

VINCENZO SAGUN – On February 26, 2018 at about 8:00 AM, a dead body of human was found floating at the high seas of Sitio Limbio, barangay Danan, Vincenzo Sagun. Immediately, PNP of VSagun together with members of CAA based at Barangary Danan, Philippine Coast Guard based at Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur and Jolito Dasigao whom reported that his brother was missing for almost a week ago. Said team proceeded to the area and found one (1) dead body floating at the high seas identified by Alejandro Tuclos Dasigao, 38 years old, widow, fisherman and a resident of barangay Sagwa, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that Alejandro Dasigao was working at Jayhalen commercial fishing at Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur. The Cadaver was brought by his brother at together with the Philippine Coast Guard at Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP personnel of V Sagun MPS is still conducting follow up investigation with the coordination of the medico legal to determine the existence of any foul play of the cause of death. Law Enforcement Operation

DUMALINAO – On February 26, 2018 at about 2:15 PM, joint personnel from Regional Intelligence Unit 9, PNP-IG (lead unit); Zamboanga Del Sur Mobile Forces Company; Dumalinao MPS and Dimataling MPS conducted Law Enforcement Operation thru service of Warrant of Arrest along the National Highway of Barangay Camanga, DumalinaO, Zamboanga Del Sur. This resulted to the arrest of Onsa Saavedra Mustapha @ Umsa Mustapha, 38 years old, farmer a resident of P-2, Brgy. Tipange, Dimataling, for the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case Number 1893-D issued by Hon. Anecito B. Galon, Presiding Judge, 7^th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Dimataling, Tabina & Pitogo dated Arpil 16, 2002 with NO BAIL recommended. Subject arrested person is involved in Gun-For-Hire activities, Robbery, Carnapping and illegal drug trade in Zamboanga Del Sur under the group of Abe Mustapha and Junaid Mustapha who are known in the area as criminal coddler and drug protectors. Subject is linked with the defunct Ambol Criminal Group operating in the area of Dinas, Dimataling and neighboring Municipalities of Zamboanga del Sur. Arrested person is temporarily detained at Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition prior turned-over to court concerned.

Theft Suspect Arrested

PAGADIAN CITY - On February 25, 2018 at about 3:10 PM, Elements of Pagadian City Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Purok Rubia, Barangay Santa Maria, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. The operation resulted to the arrest of Orly Cabural Labadan, 40 years old, Filipino, male, married and a resident of aforementioned place. Said accused was arrested for the crime of Qualified Theft issued by Hon. Gil G. Bollozos, Presiding Judge, RTC, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 21, Cagayan de Oro City on January 30, 2018 docketed under Criminal Case No. CR-ORD-2018-2280. Arrested accused is temporarily detained at said police station lock-up cell awaiting for final adjudication from the court concerned.

SHOOTING INCIDENT

DINAS – ON OR ABOUT 9:20 PM OF FEBRUARY 25, 2018, A CELLULAR PHONE CALL FROM SGT. BANGCUYAN, PERSONNEL OF 53RD IB, PA BASED AT BARANGAY GUINICOLALAY, DINAS, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR WAS RECEIVED BY THE PERSONNEL OF DINAS MPS, ZSPPO INFORMING THAT A SERIES OF GUN BURST WAS HEARD PARTICULARLY AT PUROK 3 OF SAID PLACE. UPON RECEIPT OF SAID REPORT, ELEMENTS OF DINAS MPS LED BY PSINSP FELIXBERTO B RULE JR, COP TOGETHER WITH THE AUGMENTED PERSONNEL OF ZSPPO PMFC AND CAA PERSONNEL BASED AT SAID BARARANGAY IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED TO THE PLACE OF INCIDENT. INITIAL INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE HOUSE OWNED BY THE COUPLE JOEL CALAMBA JANCA, 32 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, FARMER, AND MARYJANE CALUGAL JANCA, 31 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, HOUSEWIFE, BOTH RESIDENTS OF THE AFOREMENTIONED PLACE WAS FIRED UPON BY UNIDENTIFIED PERSONS WITH THE USE OF UNDETERMINED TYPE OF FIREARMS. AND ALSO, PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT, BOTH VICTIMS WERE LYING ON THEIR BED INSIDE THEIR HOUSE WHEN SUDDENLY; THEY WERE CAUGHT BY SURPRISE BY A SERIES OF GUN BURST HITTING THEIR HOUSE. AS A RESULT, HIS WIFE SUSTAINED FIVE (5) GUNSHOT WOUNDS AT THE RIGHT PORTION OF HER STOMACH WHILE JOEL JANCA MANAGED TO ESCAPE BY WAY OF CRAWLING ON THE FLOOR GOING OUTSIDE THEIR HOUSE BUT STILL, HE WAS HIT ON HIS RIGHT FOREARM. SAID VICTIMS WERE IMMEDIATELY RUSHED BY THE RESPONDING PERSONNEL OF DINAS MPS TO CHAVEZ MEDICAL CENTER FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT BUT THE ATTENDING PHYSICIAN DECIDED TO TRANSFER THEM TO PAGADIAN CITY MEDICAL CENTER, PAGADIAN CITY FOR FURTHER MEDICAL TREATMENT. RIGHT AFTER THE INCIDENT, SUSPECTS IMMEDIATELY FLED TO THE DIRECTION OF SITIO BACCA, BARANGAY GUINICOLALAY, DINAS, ZDS AFTER THE COMMISSION OF THE CRIME. ELEMENTS OF DINAS MPS ARE STILL CONDUCTING FOLLOW-UP INVESTIGATION FOR THE POSSIBLE IDENTIFICATION AND APPREHENSION OF THE SUSPECTS. MOTIVE OF THE INCIDENT IS STILL TO BE DETERMINED. ARREST OF WANTED PERSON

LAPUYAN – ON OR ABOUT 11:00 AM OF 25 FEBRUARY 2018, JOINT ELEMENTS OF LAPUYAN MPS AND SAN MIGUEL MPS CONDUCTED MANHUNT OPERATION AT BARANGAY GANDAWALI, SAN MIGUEL, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR THAT RESULTED IN THE SUCCESSFUL ARREST OF REZEL DAHIROC GOZON, 23 YEARS OLD, MALE, MARRIED, JOBLESS, AND A RESIDENT OF BARAGAY TALOBOB, LAPUYAN, ZDS. SAID ACCUSED WAS ARRESTED BY VIRTUE OF WARRANT OF ARREST FOR THE CRIME OF CHILD ABUSE WITH CRIMINAL CASE NO. 17-213 ISSUED BY HON. RUBEN N BANCE, PRESIDING JUDGE, RTC, BRANCH 29, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. ARRESTED ACCUSED IS DETAINED AT LAPUYAN MPS LOCK-UP CELL FOR PROPER DISPOSITION.

INCIDENT REPORT - February 21, 2018

Arrest of Wanted Person

PAGADIAN CITY - On February 20, 2018 at about 3:00 PM, the person of Wilma Baluran Bucog, 29 years old, married, and a resident of Purok Sili, Barangay Baloyboan Pagadian City appeared to Pagadian CPS to follow up her case but it turn out that the former had standing warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Joel G Vercide, Presiding Judge, MTCC, Branch 1, Pagadin City issued on December 15, 2017 docketed under criminal case number 17665 and 17666 for the crime of Two (2) Counts Estafa and place the arrest by the Pagadian PNP personnel. With bail bond recommended amounted to (PHP 6,000.00). The arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station while waiting for court disposition.

Homicide Suspect Arrested

PAGADIAN CITY - On February 20, 2018 at about 10:00 PM, Personnel of Dapitan City Police Station conducted manhunt operation of wanted person at Sitio Tipsong, Brgy Ma. Christina Pagadian City that resulted in the arrest of Rolando Sumicad Altoveros, 67 years old, married, male and Jhonny Guillaño Altoveroy, 46 years old, married, male both residing at Sitio Tipsong, Brgy Ma. Christina, Dapitan City. The suspects were arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Hilarion Jonathan G. Maagad of MTCC, 9TH Judicial Region, Dapitan City, for the crime of Attempted Homicide with Criminal case number 18101 dated February 13, 2018 with bail bond recommended amounting to Twelve Thousand Pesos (Php 12,000.00) each. The arrested suspect now temporarily detained Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.

INCIDENT REPORT - February 20, 2018

Drowning Incident

TUKURAN – On February 17, 2018 at about 3:30 PM, a drowning incident transpired at LGU-Tukuran Beach Resort, Brgy. Lower Bayao, Tukuran, wherein the victim was identified as Bienvenido Dongallo Gatoc, Jr., 49 years old, married and a resident of Phase Ii, Alta Tierra Subdivision, Napolan, Pagadian City. Investigation disclosed that the victim is a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (the Philippine Eagles) Yllana Hills Dumalinao Eagles Club who was celebrating family day at said beach resort. The victim together with some other members was enjoying swimming when they noticed that the victim disappears on their sight and was found unconscious. The victim was immediately brought to Rural Health Unit of Tukuran for immediate medical attention but he was declared dead on arrival. Thorough investigation is still being conducted by Tukuran MPS. INCIDENT REPORT - February 19, 2018

Dead Body Found

LAPUYAN - On or about 7:30 PM of February 18, 2018, a male dead body was found at Carabao Pond, Located At Barangay Tugaya, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur with more or less 100 meters away from the barangay proper. the victim later identified as Boy Amogan Nonan, 40 years old, married, farmer and resident of Barangay Tugaya, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Victim sustained multiple hacked/ stabbed wounds in the different parts of his body and believed was killed by an unidentified suspect/s. PNP personnel of Lapuyan MPS conducted thorough investigation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspect as well as to determine the motive of the incident.

INCIDENT REPORT - February 18, 2018

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Sagun Bridge, Purok Golden Shower, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City about 7:45 PM of February 8, 2018. The victims were identified as Elma Malmis Lumacad (wounded), 59 years old, female, businesswoman and Tejano Maghanoy Lumacad (unharmed), 60 years old, male, businessman and both residents of Purok Fisherville, Lumbia District, Pagadian City. The victim (Elma Lumacad) sustained gunshot wounds on the left portion of her head, left portion of her shoulder and right portion of her leg and was immediately brought to Borbon Hospital, Balangasan, Pagadian City and later transferred to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center at Dao, Pagadian City for further medical treatment. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 7:30 PM of the same date, the victims were traversing from their house going to Bobby Carinderia at Balangasan District, Pagadian City riding their single motorcycle Yamaha Mio 125 color yellow with no attached plate number. Upon reaching at Vicencio Sagun Bridge, Purok Golden Shower, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City, the driver (Tejano Lumacad) noticed that the disc break of their single motorcycle malfunctioned that prompted him to stop and fix it. However, two (2) unidentified perpetrators wearing helmets riding in a single motorcycle suddenly appeared at their back and shot the victim (Elma Lumacad) several times and run away going Vicencio Sagun Street, Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City. Recovered from the crime scene were two (2) pieces of empty shells of caliber 45 pistol. Coordination with the victims is still undergoing to determine the motive of the incident and identification of the suspect. Investigator on-Case is PO2 Mizrach S Lapid with cellphone number 0912-292-3933.

Robbery Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Robbery hold-up incident transpired beside Phil-Am Life Insurance Situated at Cabrera Street Corner Pajares Street, San Francisco District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 PM of February 17, 2018. The victim was identified as Graham Nash Villagonzalo Tati, 26 years old, married, Filipino, assistant manager of Palawan Pawnshop/Palawan Express/Palawan Pera Padala and a resident of Purok Santan, San Jose District, Pagadian City. Investigation disclosed that the victim rode his single motorcycle after he withdrawn the cash at Banco De Oro, Pagadian, when the one (1) unidentified person on board a single Honda wave motorcycle, color black  blocked his was while the two (2) other suspects wearing helmets with masked, both served as lookout waiting at the store back of Phil-Am Life Insurance near Executive Hotel who forcibly took his (victim) green supreme bag pack containing cash amounted to three million pesos (₱3,000.000.00). The three (3) unidentified suspects immediately fled to unknown direction after the commission of the crime. The investigator on-case is Po1 Bahrie A Maslamama with cellphone number 0917-819-9029 still conducting follow-up investigation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects.

Murder Suspect Cuffed

RAMON MAGSAYSAY - On February 16, 2018 at about 11:40 AM, PNP personnel of Ramon Magsaysay MPS together with personnel of Compostela MPS conducted joint police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at Purok 2, Barangay Sambulawan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur. The operation resulted to the arrest of Allen Pepito Avilla, 34 years old, male, single, farmer and a resident of Purok 6, Mulao, Compostela, Cebu. Said person has pending warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder with CC # DU-27308 and Slight Physical Injuries with CC # DU-27309Y issued by Hon. Estela Alma A. Singco, Presiding Judge, 7th Judicial Region, Branch 12, Cebu City dated July 8, 2016 with no bail recommended. He is now temporarily detained at Ramon Magsaysay MPS lock-up cell for proper disposition.

FIRE INCIDENT

TAMBULIG - AT ABOUT 2:40 PM OF FEBRUARY 15, 2018, A FIRE INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT PUROK 2, BARANGAY SAGRADA FAMILYA, TAMBULIG. , PNP PERSONNEL OF TAMBULIG POLICE STATION LED BY SPO4 ROQUELITO FIEL OTERO, MESPO, IMMEDIATELY COORDINATED WITH THE BUREAU OF FIRE OF MOLAVE, AND PERSONNEL OF MDDRMC OF TAMBULIG, ZDS LED BY NILO MUÑOZ, AND PROCEEDED TO THE REPORTED PLACE OF INCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL THEREAT, TWO (2) RESIDENTIAL HOUSES MADE OF LIGHT MATERIALS OWNED BY PORPERIO MAGHANOY AND ALDIN MASAYON WERE RAZED TO GROUND BY FIRE. INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE FIRE STARTED AT THE HOUSE OF PORPERIO MAGHANOY AND ESCALATED INTO THE HOUSE OF ALDIN MASAYON. THE ESTIMATED COST OF DAMAGED IS ₱400,000.00. THE MDRRMC OF TAMBULIG, ZDS DISTRIBUTED RELIEF GOODS TO THE AFOREMENTIONED VICTIMS. MOLAVE - AT ABOUT 9:25 AM OF FEBRUARY 15, 2018, ELEMENTS OF MOLAVE MPS CONDUCTED MANHUNT OPERATION AT BARANGAY MAKUGUIHON, MOLAVE, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AGAINST RICHIE SAMBILLAN SAMBULOT, LEGAL AGE AND RESIDENT OF THE AFOREMENTIONED PLACE. THE ACCUSED WAS ARRESTED BY VIRTUE OF WARRANT OF ARREST FOR THE CRIME OF LESS SERIOUS PHYSICAL INJURIES DOCKETED UNDER CRIMINAL CASE NO. 7309, DATED JANUARY 11, 2018 ISSUED BY HON. MARY ANN D. REAL JAMERO, PRESIDING JUDGE, MTC, 9TH JUDICIAL REGION, BRANCH 23, MOLAVE, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR WITH BAIL BOND RECOMMENDED OF (₱2,000.00). INCIDENT REPORT - February 15, 2018

Shooting Incident

MOLAVE - Shooting incident happened at Purok Mapailobon, Barangay Lower Dontulan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Jun Cavan Emnace, 52 years old, male, married, backhoe operator and resident of said place. He was shot to death by unidentified person. Initial investigation conducted disclosed at about 8:00 PM of February 13, 2018, the victim Jun Emnace was pasturing his carabao on the grassy area of the aforementioned-place when he was directly shot four (4) times by unidentified suspect hitting on the different parts of his body causing his instantaneous death. Suspect fled to unknown direction. Recovered from the crime scene were four (4) spent shells of caliber .45 pistols. PNP personnel of Molave MPS are conducting thorough investigation to determine the motive and for possible arrest of the suspect. Investigator is SPO2 Genmaidee Jabello CP no. 09998348816.

Shooting Incident

KUMALARANG - Shooting incident transpired at sea area of Brgy. Gusom, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Romeo Seit Oman, 46 years old, married, fisherman and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy, Picanan, Kumalarang. He was shot by unidentified perpetrator/s. initial investigation conducted disclosed that at 8:04 PM of February 13, 2018, said victim left from their house purposely to check his fish pen (bunsod) situated at the sea area of Brgy. Gusom but did not retuned for the whole night, until they received information that the victim was already dead. Said victim sustained three (3) gunshot wounds two (2) at his left chest (entrance wound) exited at the back portion of his body and one (1) at his right shoulder which resulted his instantaneous death. Suspect/s believed to be on board on pump boat immediately left after the commission of the incident going to neighboring sea area of Kumalarang, zds. Possible motive of the incident was robbery since the pump boat (bandong) with Honda 6.5 horse power were already lost and believed to be taken by the perpetrator/s. PNP personnel of Kumalarang MPS conducting thorough investigation for possible arrest of the suspect.

Stabbing Incident

MARGOSATUBIG - Stabbing incident occurred at Purok Daisy 2, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:40 PM of February 18, 2018. The victim identified as Niño Arevalo Abadan, 20 years old, single, fisherman was stabbed by his biological father identified as Roque Villanueva Abadan, 48 years old, male, single, fisherman both resident of Purok Daisy 2, Poblacion Margosatubig. investigation disclosed that, said victim together with his mother Tessie Abadan Y Arevalo was at the residence of their neighbor (Evelyn Villanueva) watching television show, after a few minutes said suspect believed to under the influence of intoxicating liquor arrived at the aforementioned place and immediately approached the victim and his mother and the three (3) were having a conversation that lead to a heated arguments. After the argument, victim went out said house and walk towards home while his father Roque Abadan followed him from behind and without any provocation stabbed the victim hitting on the left portion of his torso and was immediately brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medical treatment. Suspect was arrest by the responding PNP personnel of Margosatubig MPS. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Margosatubig MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

MARGOSATUBIG - PNP elements of Lapuyan MPS together with personnel of Margosatubig MPS conducted joint operation of wanted person at Purok Siren, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:30 PM of February 14, 2018. This resulted to the arrest of Abito Orjil Abia, 75 years old, male, married, and a resident of Sitio Bayulan, Brgy. Danganan, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur charged for the crime of malicious mischief docketed under criminal case number 1772-l, being issued by Hon. Maria Teresa Pangilinan, Presiding Judge, MCT San Miguel Zamboanga Del Sur. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Lapuyan MPS for proper disposition.

INCIDENT REPORT - February 14, 2018

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident occurred at Benigno Aquino Street, Purok Gumamela, Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City at about 7:45 PM of February 13, 2018. The victim was identified as SPO4 Carlos Donggon Omentic, 51 years old, male, married, PNP personnel assigned at Pagadian City Police Station and resident of Purok Gumamela, Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City. He was shot by an identified perpetrator riding in a single motorcycle along benigno Aquino Street, Purok Gumamela, Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City. He was brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim was driving his single motorcycle along Benigno Aquino Street, Purok Gumamela, Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City when he stopped to answer a cell phone call, however, while the victim holding his cellphone, suddenly two (2) unidentified male perpetrators riding a single motorcycle appeared beside him and the back rider shot him but, the victim able to defend himself and get away from his single motorcycle and able to get his firearm and returned fire. The suspects immediately fled away going to Salazar Street, Pagadian City. As a result, victim sustained gunshot wound on his face. recovered at the crime scene were four (4) pieces empty shell, of caliber 45 pistol, (6) pieces of empty shell of caliber 9mm pistol, one (1) piece of slug and one (1) piece of live ammunition of caliber 45 pistol. Coordination with the said victim was still undergoing to determine the motive of the incident and the identification of the suspects. The investigator is PO2 Mizrach S Lapid, with CP # 09122923933.

Arrest of Wanted Person

GUIPOS - PNP elements of Guipos MPS conducted police operation (manhunt charlie) at Barangay Canunan, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:25 PM February 13, 2018. The operation resulted in the arrest of Zyrine Rey B. Luna, 24 years old, single and resident of Purok Mangga, Barangay Canunan, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of cyber-libel issued by Gregorio V. Dela Peña, Iii, Presiding Judge Of  9th Judicial Region, Branch 12, Zamboanga City, Dated January 25, 2018, docketed under cc # 34613, with bail bond recommended fixed at P10,000.00 for his temporary liberty. Arrested accused is now temporarily detained at said police station for proper disposition.

Murder Suspect Arrested

RAMON MAGSAYSAY - PNP personnel of Ramon Magsaysay MPS conducted manhunt operation against wanted person at Barangay Esperanza, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:00 PM of February 13, 2018. This resulted in the arrest of Ramel Alcontin Tumandag, 23 years old, male, single, jobless, and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Esperanza, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. This y virtue of alias warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Analyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, Presiding Judge Of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur, charged for the crime of attempted murder docketed in cc # 16-10,1320 dated February 6, 2017 with  recommended bail bond amounting to Php 120,000.00. Arrested accused is now temporarily detained at Ramon Magssaysay MPS lock-up cell for proper disposition while waiting for a commitment order for his transfer to Ramon Magsaysay Municipal Jail (BJMP).

Rape Suspect Arrested

MIDSALIP - PNP elements of Midsalip MPS and PNP personnel of Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) conducted police operation (service of warrant of arrest) against Wanted Person At Purok 3, Barangay Palili, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 pm of February 13, 2018. This resulted in the arrest of Danny Langod Merela, 48 years old, married, farmer and a resident Purok 2, Barangay Palili, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape under cc # 17-10, 1464 dated November 13, 2017 and signed by Hon. Analyn F. Ramas Costanilla, Presiding Judge, Rtc 9, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with no bail recommended. Arrested wanted person is now temporarily detained at said police station awaiting for final adjudication from the court.

INCIDENT REPORT - February 13, 2018

Shooting Incident

MOLAVE - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 1, Sudlon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:10 AM of February 12, 2018. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as Joseph Maglasang Tago, 26 years old, single, driver and resident of Purok Paglaum, Mabuhay, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur on the evening of February 11, 2018 was in the said Purok 1, Barangay Sudlon having a vigil in the wake of his mother thereat. At about 11:00 PM, he slept in the ford ranger pickup vehicle bearing plate number ATA 1889 which he is driving. He slept in the front passenger seat of the said vehicle. an hour later at about 12:10 midnight, an unidentified armed person suddenly shot the vehicle targeting him sleeping which all of the bullets penetrated at the left side passenger seat window. The victim Joseph Tago was hit at left side of his body and on his left foot which hit through in through. The armed suspect fled away by back riding a get-away motorcycle driven by unidentified driver towards the Poblacion Molave. The victim was rushed to Igano Community Hospital for medical treatment. Recovered in the crime scene were six (6) empty shells and two (2) slugs of caliber .45 firearms. Motive of the incident believed to be personal grudge.  PNP personnel of Molave MPS conducted follow up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect.

Theft Suspect Arrested

MIDSALIP - Combined operatives of Midsalip MPS and personnel of Tigbao MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok 5, Barangay Lumponid, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:00 PM of February 12, 2018. The operation resulted to the arrest of Hermilio Fuentes Caliso, 58 years old, married, farmer and resident of Brgy. Sitio Woodland, Begong, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of theft under criminal case no. 3207-t, signed/issued by Hon. Insor A. Pantaran, Acting Judge, Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Dumalinao-San Pablo-Tigbao-Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur with recommended bail bond fixed at Php10, 000.00. He was brought to Midsalip MPS for documentation and to be turn-over to Tigbao MPS for court disposition.

Shooting Incident

DUMINGAG - Shooting incident transpired at the National Highway, Purok 1, Barangay Guitran, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:35 PM, February 11, 2018 wherein victims identified as Raffy Galvez Zisa, of legal age, resident of Brgy. New Basak, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur and the spouses identified as Isagani Balili and Geraldine Balili, 52 and 46 years of age respectively and both residents of Brgy. San Pedro, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that on the aforementioned date and time of incident, the victim Raffy G. Zisa was driving an Isuzu elf, yellow orange color, bearing plate number ABV 4836, sitting beside the above-named victim were the spouses Isagani Balili and Geraldine Balili. Said vehicle was hired by the latter–named spouses to load their bamboo furniture’s coming from Kapatagan, Lanao Del Norte. That while travelling heading to the municipality of Dumingag particularly at the residence of the spouses, upon reaching at the abovementioned place of incident two (2) unidentified male personalities riding in tandem with Honda XRM single motorcycle suddenly appeared and positioned beside the driver’s seat. Thereat, the back rider immediately fired the driver several times and immediately fled heading to Guitran Bridge. As a result thereof, said driver sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his body and unfortunately the bullet pierce through hitting the left leg of Isagani Balili and Geraldine Balili. The above-named victims were immediately brought on-board on ambulance to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for immediate medication. Recovered from the crime scene are six (6) pieces fired shells of caliber .45 and three (3) pieces fired bullets of caliber .45. Furthermore, one (1) fired bullet was recovered from the injured leg of Isagani Balili and another (1) fired bullet from the left leg of Geraldine Balili. The above pieces of evidences were to be turned-over to Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for ballistics examination. Personnel Dumingag MPS is now conducting an intensive investigation to determine the underlying motive of this incident. Investigator on case is PO2 Ernel Dico, with contact number 09487198655.

Violation of RA 10591

MARGOSATUBIG – On or about 9:00 PM of February 10, 2018, personnel of margosatubig mps received a cellular phone call from a concerned citizen informing that certain Arnulfo Cueto Catipay, a resident of Barangay Kalian, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur fired his Cal .45 pistol at the Public Market, located at same Barangay. Upon arrival thereat, team recovered three (3) fired cartridge cases of Cal .45. Initial investigation revealed that, according to the witnesses, said person was under the influence of intoxicating liquor and fired said firearm at said place. the responding team immediately conducted hot pursuit operation for the possible arrest of the suspect and it was found out that he ran towards his house located at Purok Anahaw, Barangay Kalian, Margsatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Said team together with Hon. Contancio M Alambatan, Barangay Captain of said barangay proceed to this residence and successfully arrested the suspect and confiscated from his possession and control were one (1) unit of Cal .45 with serial no. 518649, one (1) magazine, two (1) live ammunitions and one (1) bolo. Said person has no legal documents for the said firearm.

INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT VICTIM AND SUSPECT HAD A HEATED ARGUMENT PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT. THE VICTIM SUSTAINED HACKED WOUND IN THE RIGHT FOREARM. SUSPECT FLED TOWARDS UNKNOWN DIRECTION. PNP PERSONNEL OF LAKEWOOD MPS CONDUCTED MANHUNT OPERATION FOR THE POSSIBLE ARREST THE SUSPECT.

SHOOTING INCIDENT

DINAS - AT ABOUT 8:27 PM OF FEBRUARY 9, 2018, SHOOTING INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT PUROK 2, BARANGAY GUINICOLALAY, DINAS, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE VICTIM WAS IDENTIFIED AS RAMIL QUIRIT VELARDE, 44 YEARS OLD, MALE, FISHERMAN AND RESIDENT OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PLACE.  INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT, VICTIM WAS LYING IN HIS BED WHEN HE HEARD THE BARKING OF A DOG OUTSIDE HIS HOUSE OF SAID PLACE, WHEN HE GOT OUT AND WALKED IN FRONT OF HIS DOOR PURPOSELY TO CHECK THE SURROUNDING, AN UNIDENTIFIED SUSPECT FROM HIS BEHIND WITH ESTIMATED DISTANCE OF MORE OR LESS FIVE METERS (5) SUDDENLY SHOT HIM SEVERAL TIMES USING CALIBER 45 PISTOL. THE VICTIM SUSTAINED GUNSHOT WOUND IN HIS LEFT LEG AND WAS ABLE TO CRAWLED AND HIDE HIMSELF TOWARDS THE KITCHEN OF HIS HOUSE, WHILE THE SUSPECT FLED TOWARDS GUINICOLALAY CENTRAL SCHOOL OF SAID PLACE. PNP PERSONNEL OF DINAS MPS TOGETHER WITH THE AUGMENTED TEAM OF PROVINCIAL MOBILE FORCE COMPANY AND CAA PERSONNEL OF GUINICOLALAY DETACHMENT, RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY TO THE PLACE OF INCIDENT UPON HEARING THE SERIES OF GUN BURST. UPON ARRIVAL THEREAT, THE VICTIM WAS SITTING ON THE GROUND WITH GUNSHOT WOUND IN HIS LEG AND WAS IMMEDIATELY RUSHED BY THE PNP PERSONNEL TO CHAVEZ MEDICAL CENTER FOR IMMEDIATE MEDICAL TREATMENT. BAYOG - AT ABOUT 8:00 AM FEBRUARY 9, 2018,  A MALE DEAD BODY WAS FOUND FLOATING AT SIBUGAY RIVER, PUROK 1, BARANGAY POBLACION, BAYOG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE VICTIM WAS IDENTIFIED AS MARCELO SABACAJAN BIOSADA A.K.A. SILOY, 54 YEARS OLD, SINGLE, JOBLESS AND TEMPORARILY RESIDE AT THE RESIDENCE OF JIMMY ENTESE IN PUROK 1, BARANGAY DEPASE, BAYOG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT VICTIM HAS A MENTAL DISORDER AND LEFT THE SAID HOUSE ON FEBRUARY 8, 2018 AND PROCEEDED TOWARDS THE BAILEY BRIDGE WHERE HE USED AS ROUTINE PLACE TO STANDBY AND SLEEP. ACCORDINGLY, THE VICTIM ALLEGEDLY FELL DOWN FROM THE BRIDGE AND DROWNED IN THE SIBUGAY RIVER. THE VICTIM’S CADAVER NOW LIES AT HIS RELATIVES LOCATED AT PUROK 3, BARANGAY POBLACION, BAYOG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, WHILE BAYOG MPS REQUESTED FOR A POST MORTEM EXAMINATION TO POSSIBLY DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF HIS DEATH.

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City particularly in front of D’marcians Fitness Central, 097 Cañizares Building, Rizal Avenue, San Francisco, Pagadian City at about 7:50 PM of February 8, 2018. Victim was immediately brought at Pagadian City Medical Center, San Francisco, Pagadian City for medical treatment. The victim identified as Morsid Macario Maliso, 27 years old, male, tricycle driver and resident of Purok Gadongan, Bulanit, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his left portion of his stomach. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim driving his tricycle and stop of awhile in front of D’marcians Fitness Central, 097 Cañizares Building, Rizal Avenue, San Francisco, Pagadian City to buy some rice meal (Pastil) in a side walk ballot vendor. While the victim eating the Pastil together with his two year old son inside the tricycle when suddenly two (2) unidentified male perpetrator both wearing black shirt riding in a single motorcycle stop beside the tricycle at the left portion and shot the victim several times. Suspect run-away going to f. Roxas St. San Francisco, Pagadian City. The responding PNP personnel recovered at the crime scene four (4) pieces of empty shells of caliber .45 and turned over to provincial soco for ballistic examination. pnp personnel of pagadian cps conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect. The investigator is PO2 Mizrach S Lapid, with CP number 09122923933.

Stabbing Incident

TAMBULIG - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok 2, Barangay Calolot, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 PM on February 7, 2018, wherein victim identified as Jelly Ramos Doloquin, 51 years old, female, married and a resident of same place was stabbed by suspect named Gleen Lopez Ondoyo, 21 years old, and a resident of Barangay Lodiong, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim were at her house, suddenly suspect appeared armed with an ice pick and stabbed the victim hitting at her shoulder and left hand and was brought to Tambulig Municipal Health Center for medication. Suspect was arrested by the responding barangay Councilor, Domingo Almocera Mondido Jr. And Ruel Almocera Mondido, chief CVO of said place and was personally turn-over to PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Tambulig MPS for proper disposition. Motive of the incident is personal grudge.

Stabbing Incident

VINCENZO SAGUN - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Bagong Buhay, Barangay Lunib, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:30 PM of February 7, 2018 wherein victim Beinvenido Espinosa Putal Jr, 44 years old, married, and a resident of same place was stabbed to death by Mario Magalang Capa, 37 years old, single, farmer and also of same place. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the suspect having a drinking session together with his friends at the store of a certain Dominador Espinosa, moments later, the victim arrived armed with a knife and challenge the suspect then the two brawled and the suspect managed to grab the knife from the hand of the victim and there stabbed the victim that causes his untimely death. Victim sustained stabbed wounds in the different parts of his body. Motive of the incident was due to heated argument. The suspect voluntarily surrendered to Barangay Tanod Rogelio Malmis who then brought him to V Sagun MPS and now temporarily detained at said station proper disposition.

PAGADIAN CITY - PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station conducted a joint police operation on wanted person (service of arrest warrant) at Samson Street, Purok Malipayon, Brgy. San Francisco, Pagadian City at about 12:30 PM of February 08, 201. The operation resulted to the arrest of Alexandrix Cañete Limbo, 41 years old, male, married, and a resident of Samson Street, Purok Malipayon, Brgy. San Francisco, Pagadian City. This is virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Joel G Vercide, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court 9th, Branch 1 Issued On January 25, 2018 with criminal case number 17728 for the crime of estafa with bail bond recommended fixed to Twenty Six Thousand Pesos (php26,000.00). The arrested subject person is presently detained at Pagadian CPS for proper court disposition.

DIMATALING – AT ABOUT 10:00 PM OF FEBRUARY 6, 2018, ONE (1) DETAINEE OF DIMATALING MPS IDENTIFIED AS RENIE FABURADA LIMBAGA, A.K.A. “LITO”, 40 YEARS OLD, SEPARATED, FARMER AND RESIDENT OF PUROK 2, BARANGAY BUBURAY, DIMATALING, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR COMMITTED SUICIDE INSIDE THE DETENTION CELL OF DIMATALING MPS. INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT THE DETAINEE/ VICTIM COMMITTED SUICIDE INSIDE THE DETENTION CELL OF DIMATALING MPS BY USING THE BELT OF HIS PANTS AND TIED ON HIS NECK AND ATTACHED THROUGH THE STEEL RAILINGS OF DETENTION CELL. FURTHER INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT THE VICTIM/DETAINEE WAS ASKED BY SPO1 EL B ARAGON, WHY HE IS STILL AWAKE, BUT THE VICTIM DID NOT REPLIED WHICH PROMPTED THE SAID PNP PERSONNEL TO CHECK THE DETAINEE INSIDE THE DETENTION CELL. THE VICTIM WAS LATER IDENTIFIED AS MARCIAL MARSON ORTEGA, 70 YEARS OLD, MALE, MARRIED, LABORER AND RESIDENT OF BAGONG SILANG, BARANGAY STA. LUCIA, PAGADIAN CITY. THE VICTIM SUSTAINED GUNSHOT WOUNDS IN THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF HIS BODY THAT RESULTED TO HIS INSTANTANEOUS DEATH. INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT AROUND 5:30 AM OF SAME DATE, THE WIFE OF THE VICTIM NAMED SITA MAQUINTO ORTEGA PERSONALLY NOTICED ALONG HER WAY COMING FROM THE VIDEO-K ESTABLISHMENT OF SAID PLACE MORE OR LESS 100 METERS AWAY FROM HER HOUSE, THAT HER HUSBAND WAS LYING ON THE GROUND NEAR HER HOUSE BATHED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD AND SUSTAINED GUNSHOT WOUNDS IN THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF HIS BODY. PITOGO - AT ABOUT 4:15 AM ON FEBRUARY 6, 2018 PNP PERSONNEL OF PITOGO MPS LCONDUCTED RANDOM CHECKPOINT ALONG PROVINCIAL ROAD OF BARANGAY SUGBAY DOS, PITOGO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. UPON TERMINATION OF THEIR CHECKPOINT OPERATION, THE TEAM NOTICED THAT THERE WERE BOXES BEING LEFT BEHIND BESIDE THE PROVINCIAL ROAD, A WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE ESTABLISHED CHECKPOINT.  UPON VERIFICATION, IT WAS FOUND OUT THAT FOUR (4) BOXES CONTAINING ASSORTED RIMS OF CIGARETTES BELIEVED TO BE FAKE/SMUGGLED PRODUCTS, TO WIT: TWENTY-SEVEN (27) RIMS OF NAVY, EIGHTEEN (18) RIMS OF MIGHTY GREEN; SIXTEEN (16) RIMS OF MIGHTY PUTI; TWENTY ONE (21) RIMS OF JACKPOT; TWENTY NINE (29) RIMS OF FORT; TWO (2) RIMS OF MARVELS; FIVE (5) RIMS OF CAMEL; THREE (3) RIMS OF UNION AND SEVEN (7) RIMS OF MALBORO.  THE SAID 128 RIMS OF ASSORTED CIGARETTES ARE NOW IN THE CUSTODY OF PITOGO MPS FOR INVESTIGATION AND PROPER DISPOSITION.

INCIDENT REPORT - February 6, 2018

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at the mountainous area of Purok Pinya, Barangay Datagan, Pagadian City at around 9:00 AM of February 5, 2018. According to Ranel Macalisang Montalban, while he put his livestock at the mountainous area of Barangay Datagan to feed, he heard a several gun bursts, he was very nervous and believed that it was his brother-in law that was at the other portion of the mountain feeding his livestock. He immediately went to the area of his brother in law and discovered that he was lying at the ground bathed with his own blood with several gunshot wounds that caused his instantaneous death. the victim identified as Daneboy Pantonial Apag, 43 years old, male, married and resident of Purok Riverside, Barangay Dipaya, Labangan, Zamboangadel Sur, while Ranel Macalisang Montalban turned over the recovered five (5) empty shells and one (1) bullet of caliber .45 pistols to Pagadian CPS where the it was also turned over to provincial SOCO for ballistic examination. According to Ranel Macalisang Montalban that most possible motive of the incident was the recent incident that was referred at Barangay Dipaya, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein the victim was subpoena regarding the incident that a certain Connie (neighbor), who was pregnant at that time lost his baby because of the victim. The investigator on case is PO2 Mizrach S Lapid, with CP # 09122923933.

4 Theft Suspect Arrested  

PITOGO - PNP elements of Pitogo MPS conducted police operation at Barangay Panubigan, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 AM of February 5, 2018. This resulted in the arrest of Charlito Berioso,46 years old, married, Alfredo Berioso Jr. 35 years old, married, Joel Berioso, 31 years old, single and Rosario M. Berioso,74 years old, widow, all are residents in Barangay Punta Fletcha, Pitogo. This is by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region, Rtc Branch 29 San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur dated January 04, 2018 for the crime of qualified theft docketed under cc # 17-183. Moreover, Rosario M. Berioso is also charged with another case of qualified theft under criminal case number 17-182. The bail for the temporary liberty of the respondents is fixed at twenty-four thousand pesos (Php24, 0000.00) each. The arrested persons are now under the custody of Pitogo MPS while waiting for court disposition.

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired along Pulmones Corner Datoc Street, Purok Makabibihag Uno, Barangay Santa Lucia, Pagadian City at about 3:00 AM of February 4, 2018 wherein victim identified as Saidamen Lico Diamla, 13 years old, male, single, Alternative Learning System (ALS) student of Barangay Sta Lucia District And Resident Of Purok Makabibihag Uno, Barangay Santa Lucia, Pagadian City was shot by unidentified suspect. investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was just finished playing internet computer games and was on his way home going to his residence, when suddenly two (2) unidentified motorcycle riding criminals chased the victim and the back rider/suspect disembarked from his single mc and shot the victim once. The victim sustained gunshot wound on his left nipple and exit wound on the right side of his ribs that resulted to his instantaneous death. Suspects fled to unknown direction onboard undetermined single MC. PNP personnel of Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (PCLO) now conducted scene of the crime operation and was able to recover one (1) fired cartridge case of caliber 45 pistols. PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS conducted thorough investigation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspects. The cadaver now lies at the house of her mother Sittie Diamla Y Lico located at Makabibihag Uno, Barangay Santa Lucia, Pagadian City. Farmer Arrested for Violation of RA 10591

TAMBULIG - The person of Angel Sanchez Rondina, 24 years old, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Balucot, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur personally came and reported to Tambulig MPS at about 4:00 PM on February 4, 2018 informing that her father identified as Rodrigo Sanchez Rondina, 51 years old, farmer of said place threatened her with use of undermined type of firearm. PNP elements of Tambulig MPS proceeded to the place of incident to verify said report. Upon arrival thereat, the responding PNP team saw the suspect at the terrace of his house located at the above-mentioned place still displaying his unruly behavior armed with a revolver and upon sensing the said team he immediately concealed his firearm inside the pocket of his short pants. Immediately the PNP team arrested the suspect and recovered from his possession and control one (1) unit Cal .38 revolvers without serial number loaded with four live ammunitions. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.
