340K Worth of Shabu Seized, suspect nabbed in Drug Buy Bust Operation

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 27, 2019) – An Illegal-Drug suspect was arrested while 340-Thousand pesos
worth of suspected shabu was confiscated by combined elements of 902nd Maneuver
Company of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, Zamboanga Del Sur PPO-Intel
Branch, Zamboanga Del Sur PPO-Drugs Enforcement Unit, PDEA-Zamboanga Del Sur
and Regional Intelligence Division 9 during drug buy-bust operation at Purok 3
Barangay Buyogan West in Kumalarang municipality of this province at about
11:50 in the morning of January 27, 2019.
PCSUPT
Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the drug suspect as
Masdal Karil Mandi a.k.a. Masdal Abdulrajac, 35 years old, married, and
resident of Purok 4, Barangay Poblacion, Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Confiscated
from his possession and control are the following ites:
One
(1) heat-sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected
to be shabu with estimated weight of 50-grams worth Three Hundred Forty
thousand pesos (Php340,000);
One
(1) cigarette pack used as container of suspected shabu; One (1) brown cellular
phone;
One
(1) brown envelope used to contain buy-bust money; and
One
(1) bundle of boodle money topped with genuine Php1000.00 bearing serial
numbers SM787553.
The
arrested illegal-drug suspect is now temporarily detained at PDEA detention
center, Provincial Capitol, Pagadian City, while appropriate case for violation
of Section 5, Art II of RA9165 is being prepared for filing in court against

Shooting Incident
DUMALINAO, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 27, 2019) - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Gemilina, Barangay
Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:00 AM of January 27, 2019. The
incident was reanspired particularly at the boarding house owned by certain
Eufemia E Nazara, 70 years old, married and resident of said place.
PCSUPT
Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the victim as Ryan
Contenedas Berdos, 27 years old, single, sales boy by occupation, and resident
of said place, while the suspect identified as Novie Lanurias Alpante (Live- in
Partner of victim), 23 years old, single, and resident of Purok Talisay,
Barangay Pag-asa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.
Investigation
conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim and suspect were having
a heated argument thru cellular phone call a night before the incident
happened.
At
around 5:00 AM of 27 January 2019, the latter (suspect) went to the boarding
house of the former (victim) at the above-mentioned place of incident carrying
with her a caliber 45 pistol which was placed/hidden inside the biscuit
canister.
Upon
arrival, the suspect confronted and scared the victim for having a love affair
with other girl in which the latter (suspect) could no longer support/sustained
the basic needs of their five (5) years old son.
Minutes
later, while on the course of their argument, the duo allegedly began to
scuffle with the gun and the suspect managed to get hold of the gun and
accidentally shot the victim hitting on the left portion of the head.
The
victim was rushed to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City but
was declared dead by the attending physician around 10:50 in the morning of
same date.
Evidence
recovered from the crime scene are one (1) empty shell of caliber 45 pistol,
and one (1) unit caliber 45 pistol, bearing serial number 461859, with one (1)
live ammunition on chamber inserted with magazine loaded with five (5)
ammunitions.
The suspect
is now under the custody of Dumalinao MPS, while appropriate case is now being
prepared for filing in court.
1 person dead in Road Crash Accident
KUMALARANG, Zamboanga del Sur (Jan. 27, 2019) – A driver of motorcycle was died in Vehicular accident occurred
at Purok- 4, Barangay Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur at about 2:45 PM
of January 25, 2019.
The
accident was involved by the following persons were:
Jerson
Laparan y Romagos – driver of Honda XRM Motorcycle, Marvin Soriano y Calderon-
Backrider of Honda XRM Motorcycle,
Eliseo
Lagare Jr y Villas – driver of Honda TMX Motorcycle and
Samsoden
Mangadang y Alawi – Driver Toyota HI-ACE Van.
Initial
investigation conducted disclosed that Honda XRM motorcycle was traversing the
national highway in high speed en route from Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay bound
for Pagadian City, but upon reaching at the curved road area located at Purok
4, Barangay Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur.
The
said vehicle was collided with Honda TMX motorcycle which was shortly entered
and started to traverse the national highway coming from its parked position,
and subsequently said Honda XRM motorcycle (with its driver) which was
currently collided with Honda TMX motorcycle was accidentally hit and collided
with the Toyota Hi-Ace Van en route from Pagadian City bound for Ipil Zamboanga
Sibugay.
The
driver of Honda TMX motorcycle and the back rider of Honda XRM motorcycle
sustained minimal injuries but the driver of Honda XRM sustained fatal head
injuries and was immediately rushed to Saint John, Medical Hospital, Buug,
Zamboanga Sibugay for immediate medical treatment but unfortunately pronounced
dead by the attending physician.

Robbery with Homicide Incident
MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 29, 2019) - Robbery with homicide incident transpired at Quezon Street,
Barangay Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 PM, January 27,
2019 particularly at the house of Mrs. Eriberta Dabalos Zamora, 79 years old,
female.
Upon
receipt of the report, PNP personnel of Molave MPS immediately proceeded to the
reported place of incident.
Upon
arrival thereat, victim identified as Mrs. Eriberta Dabalos Zamora, 79 years
old, female and resident of said place was found lying lifeless bathed with her
own blood inside her room.
Investigation
conducted disclosed that around 10:30 PM of same date, the maid of the house
identified as one (1) Maymarie Vilabis Guinsayao, 19 years old, single and
resident of Purok 5, Brgy. Sigapod, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur was awakened
when someone knocked the main door of the house.
When
the maid asked whose someone outside, the person/suspects replied that it was
the son of Mrs. Eriberta Dabalos Zamora (victim), thereby the maid open the
door and surprisingly a suspect wearing a bonnet pointed a gun towards her and
struck /punched her stomach the causes her to faint, while two (2) other
suspects entered the house.
Unfortunately,
the victim was found lying lifeless bathed with her own blood in her room and
sustained wound/injuries on her head believed to be struck several times using
empty bottle of sprite and plastic chair which resulted to her instantaneous
death.
Personal
belongings inside the room were scattered and broken cabinet. Accordingly, based
on the statement of her son, cash money amounting to more or less thirty
thousand (Php30,000.00) pesos and a jewelries amounting to more or less fifteen
thousand (Php15,000.00) pesos were missing.
At
around 2:15 AM of 28 January 2019, PNP personnel of Provincial Crime Laboratory
Office (PCLO) arrived at the scene and conducted crime scene processing. The
maid of said house Maymarie Vilabis Guinsayao was brought to Molave MPS. PNP
personnel of Molave MPS is still conducting thorough investigation to possibly
identify, locate and arrest suspects.
Robbery Suspect Held in Zambo Sur
SOMINOT, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 29, 2019) - Joint PNP personnel of Sominot MPS together with Criminal
Investigation Detection Group (CIDG) - Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Field Unit
conducted police operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Barangay Eastern
Sominot, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM, January 27, 2019.
The
operation was resulted to the arrest of Jorang Jawom Y Bahian @ Jeramy, 44
years old, married, and resident of Purok 5, Barangay Rizal, Sominot, Zamboanga
Del Sur.
The
accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Robbery
(Art. 295, par 5, RPC in relation to Art. 296, RPC both amended by R.A. 10951).
The case was docketed under Criminal Case number 19-10, 1580, issued by Presiding
Judge, RTC Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur dated January 25, 2019 with
bail bond recommended of one hundred thousand pesos (Php100,000.00).
Further,
the arresting PNP personnel was able to recover from the possession and control
of the accused one (1) unit Caliber 38 revolver, without serial number with
five (5) live ammunitions of same caliber.
