PRESS RELEASE

Illegal Drugsm -Tambulig       

At about 4:00 am of January 19, 2016, a joint PNP personnel of Tambulig Municipal Police Station and 2nd Maneuvering Company of RPSB 9, Zamboanga Del Sur together with Municipal Election Officer Belinda Payod Abong, Election Officer 2 conducted joint COMELEC checkpoint at National Highway Of Barangay Balucot, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the arrest of a certain Jay Ar Compleza Ladanan, 29 years old, jobless, resident of Purok Quezon, Barangay Santo Niño, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur for violation of RA 9165. Confiscated from his possession and control were one (1) big size transparent cellophane with ten (10) pcs of small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with estimated market value of four thousand pesos (Php 4,000.00), one (1) lighter color green and one (1) unit cellphone samsung. Suspect is temporarily detained at Tambulig MPS lock-up cell for proper disposition.

Hacking Incident  - Aurora         

At about 3:00 pm of January 19, 2016, a hacking incident transpired at Purok Sta., Cruz, Barangay Balide, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Rosa Ding Ding Dela Cerna, 72 years old, a resident of same place was hacked by her husband identified as Ernesto Mondido Dela Cerna, 73 years old, a resident of same place. Victim sustain hack wound on her head and rushed to Aurora Community And Emergency Hospital for medical treatment. Investigation conducted disclosed that both parties attended the birthday celebration of their son at same place and the victim went home ahead of her husband causing the suspect to get angry and while at their house, argument ensued between them and suddenly hack the victim three (3) times and fled from the scene after the incident. PNP elements of Aurora Municipal Police Station, Zamboanga Del Sur is conducting follow-up investigation for the possible arrest of the suspect.

Shooting Incident - Pagadian City

A shooting incident transfired at Purok Malipayon, Barangay Bulatok Pagadian City at about 2:10 am of 21 Jan 2016, wherein victim identified as one (1) Marcos Cañete y Batandon, 50 years old, male, married and a resident of Alta Tiera, Barangay Tiguma, PAgadian City, Government Employee (DOH) of Margosatubig Regional Hospital, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur was shot by two (2) unidentified suspects. Victim sustained one (1) gunshot wound at the back portion of his body and was brought to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, Barangay Dao Pagadian City for treatment while suspects fled towards unknown direction after the incident. Recovered at the CS were one (1) deformed slug of caliber 45 pistol and two (2) live ammo of same cal.

Vehicular Accident -Dumalinao

At around 4:30 pm of January 16, 2016, along national highway of Purok Crossing Barangay Camalig, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein one (1) unit multicab, color white with plate number KCR -155, with no pertinent document and driven by Fery Dumaghan Monding, 36 years old who was accidentally bumped by a motorcycle XRM 125 color black with plate number JA 6641, owned and driven by Romeo S. Clarabal, 47 years old. the driver of motorcycle xrm 125 with his back rider sustained injuries on the different parts of their bodies and rushed to Mendero Hospital for medication. Both vehicles are now temporarily deposited at Dumalinao Municipal Police Station for safekeeping and proper disposition.

Shooting Incident –Midsalip

At about 12:30 pm of january 16, 2016, PSI VELONZA –Officer In Charge of Midsalip Municipla Police Station, Zamboanga Del Sur recieved a report from PI POLLESCAS, Chief Of Police of Bayog Municipal Police Station informing that at about 7:15 pm of january 15, 2016, a shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Sitio Guayan, Barangay Balonai, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. The initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 5:00 pm of January 15, 2016, a certain Ricky Lipan, Nestor Dumandos aka Tatang and Malate Pandoma Sayanon who were having a drinking spree at the house of Rudy Sayanon of the aforesaid place. at the height of their drinking session at around 7:15 pm ofJanuary 15, 2016, Ricky Lipan got wild and suddenly drew his side arm and shot the victim Malate P. Sayanon (sustained gunshot wound on his back and now undergoing medication at Marsgen Hospital Ozamis City) but able to jump outside the house and run away while Nestor Dumandos and Oner Dumandos were also fired by Ricky Lipan outside the house.  Oner Dumandos (sustained gunshot wounds on his back and now undergoing medication at ZDS Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City) was able to retaliate and hacked the primary suspect Ricky Lipan with his bolo. Afterwards, Malate P. Sayanon returned to the area armed with a gun and fired Ricky Lipan (primary suspect) that resulted to his death

Shooting Incident -Tabina

A concerned citizen reported to Tabina MPS, Zamboanga Del Sur that a shooting incident transpired at Purok Kurbada, Barangay Mabuhay, Tabina, Zds at about 8:45 am of January 17, 2016,  wherein victim was identified as Lemwil Morcia, 33 years old, married, and a resident of the aforesaid place who was shot by Jerry Alcosiba and other unidentified companion using unknown caliber of firearms. Victim sustained one (1) gunshot at the upper left part of his abdomen and was brought to Tabina Rural Health Center and later referred to ZDSMC for further medication. Suspects fled towards unknown direction after the incident.  Motive of the incident is personal grudge. Investigator on case is PO3 Nimrod B. Baja with contact number 09985575395.

Fire Incident –Bayog

A fire incident was transpired at Purok 8, Barangay Poblacion. Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:30 pm of January 17, 2016,  wherein the house of Faisal Sanggacala Cumayog located at the abovementioned place which was made of light material was razed to the ground.  The cause of fire is due to faulty wiring and the estimated amount of damage is still to be determined by the BFP investigator. Fire out was declared at about 2:30 pm of same date. 

Illegal Drugs -Pagadian City

The PNP elements of PAIDSOTF, Zamboanga Del Sur conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Lanzones, Paglaum , Tuburan District, Pagadian City at about 7:30 pm of January 17, 2016, that resulted to the arrest of Dario Maglangit Socorro, 27 years old, married, and a resident of Purok Malinawon, Barangay  Gubaan, Aurora, Zds. confiscated from his possession and control were the following:  two (2) medium sized heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu one (1) medium sized heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; two (2) hundred peso bill bearing serial numbers WR509973 AND YT039865. The arrested person together with the confiscated items are now in the custody of PAIDSOTF, Zamboanga Del Sur for proper disposition. Investigator on case PO2 Angelito F. Fire Incident -Pagadian City

The PNP element of Pagadian City Police Station, Zamboanga Del Sur receives a cellphone call informing that  a fire incident is on progress at Purok Anonang, Barangay Buenavista Pagadian City at about 6:45 pm of January 17, 2016,  wherein the house of Mr. Rufert Retuta Tangan wherein it was damage by fire. PNP personnel in coordination with the BFP Pagadian City responded to the said place to provide assistance.

Violation Of Ra 4136 - Pagadian City

At about 9:30 am of January 18, 2016, the PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station led by PI HEINZ L LEGASPI conducted COMELEC checkpoint  along the national highway of Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. the operation resulted in the apprehention of eight (8) motorcycles for violation of RA 4136. all motorcycles were impounded at Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

GUIPOS

At about 9:30 am of January 18, 2016, the PNP personnel of Guipos Municipal Police Station led by SPO4 Arnold B Superales conducted COMELEC checkpoint along the national highway of Barangay Poblacion Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur which resulted to the successful apprehension of two (2)  motorcycles for violation of RA 4136.  subject motorcycles are impounded to Guipos MPS for proper disposition

Vehicular Accident in Dumalinao

At around 4:30 pm January 16, 2016, along National Highway of Purok crossing Brgy Camalig, Dumalinao, Zds wherein one Multicab, color white with plate number KCR 155, no pertinent document and driven by Fery Dumaghan Monding, 36 years old was accidentally bumped by a single mc XRM 125 color black with plate number JA 6641, owned and driven by Romeo S.  Shooting Inciden in Midsalip

PSI VELONZA -OIC Midsalip MPS recvd a report from PI POLLESCAS -COP Bayog Municipal Police Station informing that at about 7:15 pm 15 Jan 2016, a shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Sitio Guayan, Brgy. Balonai, Midsalip, ZDS. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 5:00 pm 15 Jan 2016, one Ricky Lipan, Nestor Dumandos aka Tatang and Malate Pandoma Sayanon were having drinking spree at the house of Rudy Sayanon of the aforesaid place. WANTED ARRESTED

One wanted person was arrested by PNP elements of San Pablo MPS at about 8:00 am of 11 January 2016 at Purok Makiangayon, Poblacion, San Pablo, Zamboanga delSur by virtue of warrant of arrest for viol of RA 8550 with recommended bail bond fixed at Php 2,000.00.

ILLEGAL DRUGS

One (1) person was arrested by joint PNP elements of PIB and Margos MPS for possession of six (6) heat sealed sachets of suspected shabu, two of aluminum foil, one (1) disposable lighter, two (2) pcs one hundred peso bill used as buy bust money, and one (1) small plastic container while conducting drug buy-bust operation on or about 9:00 PM of 11 Jan 2016 at Jovan Pension House situated at Purok Orchids, Poblacion.

HACKING AND STABBING INC TRANSPIRED IN V. SAGUN

On orabout 8:30 PM of 11 Jan 2016 at Brgy Maraya, V-Sagun, ZDS wherein victim identified as one (1) Jay Nacion y Abiso, 22 years old, single, farmer and a res of same place was hacked and stabbed by the following three (3) suspects namely: Joel Rubia; Juan Rubia and Titing Quiawan all resident of the aforesaid place.

SHOOTING INCIDENT IN PAGADIAN CITY

Shooting incident  transpired on or about 12:30 PM of January 11, 2016 at Purok Magsaysay, Brgy Santo Niño, Pagadian City wherein victim identified as one (1) Mary Joy Sayagcot y Ambalong, of legal age, female, married, self-employed, and a resident  of Dinas, ZDS was shot to death by an unidentified suspect.

Wanted Person in Dinas

At around 07:10 pm January 13, 2016, PNP elements of Dinas Municipal Police Station led by PSI JAWORSKI ARELLANO OSNGAL, COP successfully arrested Michael Dangos, 21 years old, single, and a resident of Barangay Biray, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of a warrant of arrest docketed under criminal case number 14-099 for the crime of murder issued by Hon. Felix B Rodriguez Jr, Presiding Judge of RTC 9, branch 29 Pagadian City with no bail bond recommended. Subject wanted person is now temporarily detained at Dinas MPS lock-up cell for proper disposition. 

Robbery Hold-Up in Pagadian City

The PNP personnel assigned at Compac integrated bus terminal located at Barangay Bulatoc, Pagadian City Zamboanga Del Sur informed Pagadian City Police Station through radio call that a carnapping and stabbing incident transpired in front of empire lodge, located at bulatoc Pagadian City at about 11:40 pm of January 13, 2016, wherein victim identified as Carlito Dionaldo Cadaba, 42 years old, habal-habal driver, married and a resident of Purok Nido, Gatas District Pagadian City who was brought by the personnel of Compac IBT to Hofileña Hospital for immediate treatment. The initial investigation conducted and disclosed that while the victim parked his single motorcycle at gate 7, pagadian city public market waiting for passengers, two (2) unidentified male persons came and approached the victim pretending to be passengers and asked him to transport them to empire lodge located at Barangay Bulatok Pagadian City. Upon arrival thereat one of the suspects stabbed the victim several times hitting his back which caused him to fell down and the suspects carted away his single motorcycle honda xrm 125 color yellow, bearing license plate number 5696. One driver of Rural Transit Inc. saw the victim full of blood and lying on the ground and immediately brought the victim to international bus terminal.

Fire Incident Pagadian City

A fire incident transpired at Purok Upper Lumboy, Barangay Tuburan, Pagadian City at around 1:03 pm of January 13, 2016, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein the house owned by Luminada B. Jaculve Tumo a.k.a “conrada” was razed by fire. The estimated property damaged more or less sixty thousand (₱60,000.00) pesos. The fire was declared fire out at about 1:45 in the afternoon of same date.

Violation Of Comelec Gunban in Pagadian City:

At around 1: 30 am of  January 14, 2016, PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station, Zamboanga Del Sur led by PO2 Nedzhar Baluan and PO1 Hamier Hasim arrested Bernard Sumugat, 51 years old, married, and a resident of block 21 lot 5, Alta Tierra Napolan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. Subject person was caught in the act carrying one (1) caliber .45 pistol, remington bearing serial number 748152, loaded with one magazine with seven (7) ammunitions at Purok Tugas, Balangasan, Pagadian City at around 1: 20 am samedate on board single motorcycle with improper placement of plate number together with John Lennon Y Tamayo as back rider. The arrested suspect failed to present pertinent documents/authority to carry or possessed firearms.

At around 3:45 am of January 13, 2016, The PNP team of Pagadian City Police Station, Zamboanga Del Sur led by SPO3 Carlos D Omentic, under the supervision of Chief Of Police, conducted intel-driven operation at Sitio Dulian, Anonang, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur in the service of warrant of arrest which resulted to the apprehension of Edwin Dumaboc Gallardo, 33 years old, married and a resident of Purok Palmera, Napolan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. Subject wanted person has a standing warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Dennis P. Vicoy, Presiding Judge of RTC branch 20, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur for murder docketed under criminal case number 12543-2k15, with no bail bond recommended. Subject wanted person is now in the custody of Pagadian City for documentation prior to his eventual transfer at Pagadian City BJMP.

Omentic, under the supervision of the chief of police conducted intel-driven operation at Purok Sweet Rose, Barangay, Bomba, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur in the service of warrant of arrest which resulted to the apprehension of Mateo Alicante Sosuco, of legal age, and a resident of said place. subject person has a standing warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Dennis P. Vicoy, Presiding Judge of RTC branch 20, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur for murder docketed under criminal case number 12543-2k15. Subject wanted person is now in the custody of Pagadian City  for proper disposition.

At about 9:30 am of January 13, 2016, The PNP team of Pagadian City Police Station led by PO2 Cyrus Guy Remolador, under the supervision of the Chief Of Police conducted intel-driven operation at Purok Santan Barangay Napolan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur in the service of warrant of arrest which resulted to the apprehension of Gina But-Oy Atienza, 45 years old, married, and a resident of said place. Subject person has a standing warrant of arrest issued by Romeo T. Descallar Presiding Judge of RTC branch 19, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur for large scale syndicated illegal recruitment docketed under criminal case number 10806-2k12. Subject wanted person is now under the custody of Pagadian City for proper disposition.

Dead Person in Bayog

At around 2:30 pm of January 13, 2016, The Barangay Captain Junel Bacbac Of Sigacad, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur personally came to Bayog Municipal Police Station and reported that there was a dead body found at Sitio Gonyne, Barangay Sigacad, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur. Upon receipt of the report, the pnp elements of said station immediately proceeded to the area to conduct investigation. The victim was identified as one Elsa Anulay Andapit, 50 years old, married and a resident of barangay. Sigacad, Bayog, ZDS, with several wounds on the different parts of her body. The investigation conducted and disclosed that according to her family, the victim was missing since November 10, 2015. PNP elements of this station is still conducting follow-up investigation to determine the cause of death and motive of the incident investigator on case: PO3 Harvey Jay Embudo with cellphone number. 09753355471.

Violation Of Comelec Gunban in Pagadian City

The pnp elements of Pagadian City Police Station, Zamboanga Del Sur arrested one Bernard Sumugat, 51 years old, male, married, and a resident of block 21, lot 5, Alta Tierra Napolan, Pagadian City at around 1:30 am of January 14, 2016, who was caught in possession of a cal. 45 pistol (remington) with serial no. 748152 without authority to carry firearm. The investigation conducted and disclosed that at about 1:20 am of same date while Pagadian City Police Station are conducting check point at purok Tugas, Balangasan, Pagadian City said arrested person on board his single motorcycle was flagged down by the PNP personnel manning the check point for improper placement of plate number. Upon verification of pertinent documents of said single motorcycle, abovementioned firearm was noticed inside his bag where the documents of said single motorcycle were also kept and when asked of any documents to support possession of subject firearm, suspect failed to present.
