REPORTED INCIDENT - May 31, 2017

Hacking Incident

LABANGAN - Hacking incident has transpired at Purok 6, Barangay Bokong, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:40 AM of May 30, 2017, wherein the victim identified as Merlyn Guinita Dinopol, 37 years old, married, a resident of same place was hacked by Rolly Torres Dinopol, 21 years old, single, construction worker, a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Dipaya, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation disclosed that while the victim was on their house washing their dishes, the suspect arrived and dragged her out of the house and hacked her hitting on the different parts of her body that resulted to her instantaneous death. The suspects fled after the incident. Elements of Labangan MPS conducted manhunt operation and at about 8:00 PM of May 30, 2017 with the collaboration of the Barangay Officials of Bokong and Sta. Cruz, The suspect was arrested at Purok 7, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. He is temporarily detained at Labangan MPS for proper disposition. Motive of the incident is personal grudge. The cadaver of the victim now lies at Gamalinda Funeral Homes. Investigator-on-case is Po3 Christopher Omamos with contact number 09101605319.

Vehicular Traffic Accident

MAHAYAG - Vehicular traffic accident transpired at the national highway of Purok Golden Shower, San Isidro, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:58 AM of May 23, 2017, wherein three (3) unidentified male personalities lying lifeless bathed with their own blood at the left shoulder of the road and single motorcycle motor star idol 110h color black bearing with a plate number for registration and Mitsubishi truck drop side color white bearing a plate no. gmf605 driven by Erik Lakaw-Lakaw Mag-Aba, 22 years old, a resident of Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay with his truck man/passenger identified as Gaye Mara Leapitin, 24 years old, resident of Purok 1, Barangay Boniao, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted that the vehicle mitsubishi truck was traversing the national highway from Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur heading to Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur and upon reaching  above place, accidentally hit/bumped the approaching coming single mc from opposite direction was driven by unidentified male personality together with his two (2) unidentified male personalities traversing from Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur heading to Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. said unidentified person sustained serious head injuries that resulted to their untimely death and eventually the driver of Mitsubishi truck lose control and hit/bumped the right portion of the cemented post of the store owned by Amparo Saavedra, Zamsureco steel electric post and left portion of the house of Alfonsida Pancho. As a result thereof, said driver sustained serious injuries and immediately brought to Salug Valley Medical Center, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur but declared dead after medication by the attending physician and the truck man was confined therein. the single mc and vehicle were brought to Mahayag MPS for proper disposition.

                 

REPORTED INCIDENT - May 23, 2017

Shooting Incident

MOLAVE - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Ferry, Barangay Miligan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:40 PM of May 22, 2017, wherein the victim identified as Emiliano Reasul, aka Emen, 54 years old, married a resident of the said place, was shot by Jesus Velarde Cardoza using a homemade shotgun. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident; the victim and the suspect had heated arguments. Accordingly, the latter threatened the former (victim). a minutes later, the suspect went home and returned bringing along with him a homemade shotgun and suddenly shot the victim. As the result, the victim sustained pellet wounds on the different parts of his body and rushed to Salug Valley Medical Center for immediate treatment, but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician. The suspect was arrested by Hon. Jerry Geromo, Barangay Chairman of Miligan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur, while his firearm used during the incident was also confiscated. The suspect was subsequently turned-over to the responding PNP personnel of Molave MPS for proper disposition. Appropriate case is being prepared for filing in court.

Hacking Incident

BAYOG - Hacking incident took place at Purok 11, Barangay Poblacion, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:15 PM of May 22, 2017. The victim was identified as Renato Dominguis Buendia Jr., 47 years old, married, miner and a resident of Purok 11, Barangay Poblacion, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was hacked at the above-mentioned place by Jerry Bandoy Requina, 27 years old; with live in partner, a construction worker and a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Barobo, Valencia, Bukidnon. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident; the suspect had a misunderstanding with her live-in partner identified as Joan Baclas. Minutes later, the victim Renato Buendia Jr., went to the house of the suspect and struck the door of the house by using a plastic chair. the victim attempt to strike the suspect using plastic chair, which prompted the suspect to retaliate and hacked the victim using a bolo. As the result, victim sustained hacked wound on his left shoulder and brought to Bayog Rural Health Unit for treatment, while the suspect was arrested by the responding pnp personnel and recovered at the crime scene one (1) bolo and brought to Bayog MPS for proper disposition. Investigator-on-case is Po3 Harvey Jay G Embudo with cellphone number 09753355471.

Project Double Barrel

PAGADIAN CITY - Operatives of Pagadian City Police Station and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and ZSIPB conducted joint drug buy-bust operation at Purok Bakhaw A, Barangay Kawit, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:15 PM of May 21, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Laudimer Arado Alegre Aka Lau-Lau, 29 years old, single a resident of Block 9, Lot 10, NJK Subdivision, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated from his possession and control were: three (3) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and three (3) pieces of one hundred (₱100.00) peso bill bearing serial numbers cw501735, kso46710 and ek629371 respectively as marked money. The arrested person and the confiscated items were brought to Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

TAMBULIG - PNP elements of Tambulig MPS served the warrant of arrest against Juan Obando Rebutazo Jr., 41 years old, married, farmer a resident of Barangay Alang-Alang, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 PM of May 22, 2017. He was already detained at BJMP, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was charged for the crime of rape in two (2) counts docketed under criminal case number 2017-10-3388 and 2017-10-3389 all issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge Of Rtc 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. The subject is still detained at the BJMP, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Arrest of Wanted Person

LAKEWOOD - Operatives of Lakewood MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok 1, Barangay Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:50 PM of May 22, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Roger Daniel Monterola, 48 years old, married, farmer and a resident of the above-mentioned place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 9262; docketed under criminal case number 13201-2k16 issued by Hon. Benjamin R. Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur dated November 8, 2016 with recommended bail-bond of eighty thousand (₱80,000.00) pesos for his temporary liberty. He is temporarily detained at Lakewood MPS for proper disposition.

Hacking Incident

BAYOG - Hacking incident transpired at Purok 17, Barangay Poblacion Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 PM of May 21, 2017. Wherein victim identified as Miller Siton was hacked by Fredo Antinos both of same place. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim and suspect were cousins and having a drinking session at the house of the victim who was celebrating his belated birthday that turned them drunk and having heated arguments, as a result, both were hacking each other. Victim sustained hacked wounds on his left arm while suspect sustained hacked wounds on his two fingers left arm and his left shoulder both were brought to Bayog Municipal Health Center for medications. Stabbing Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Stabbing incident occurred at Purok Centro, Barangay Napolan, Pagadian City at about 10:30 PM of May 20, 2017. Investigation conducted disclosed that according to the victim Jose Maque Aso, 26 years old, single, construction worker and a resident of Purok Centro, Barangay Napolan, Pagadian City, he was sleeping outside at the store of Marina Maque Cabaluna at Purok Centro, Napolan, Pagadian City, when he was surprised when he was stabbed by the suspect identified as Joseph Jalandony Maque, 24 years old, male, construction worker and a resident of same place. Victim sustained lone stab wound on his right portion of his abdomen. Suspect fled to unknown direction. Victim was brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Provincial Government Complex, Dao, Pagadian City for medical treatment. PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect. Investigator on case is Po3 Joel Limbo with CP number 09101750106.

Stabbing Incident

SOMINOT - Stabbing incident transpired at Poblacion Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 PM of May 21, 2017, wherein victim identified as Reymart Mandawan Beñas, 18 years old, single, farm laborer, a resident of Purok 2, Brgy San Miguel, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur was stabbed by Nicanor Gonzaga Urot, 30 years old, single, farmer a resident of Purok 1, Brgy San Miguel, Sominot. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was waylaid by the suspect beside the road in front at the vedioke house/ store of Eddie Subeza and stabbed the victim hitting on the left side of his body. Suspect was arrested by Po2 Leoh Dullin Travero who immediately responded to the incident. Victim was brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for medical treatment. Recovered from the crime scene was one (1) hunting knife. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Sominot MPS for proper disposition.

Indiscriminate Firing

MAHAYAG - An indiscriminate firing occurred at Purok 3, Barangay Paraiso, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:30 PM of May 20, 2017. The suspect was identified as Ronilo Cuizon Asister, 37 years old, married and farmer resident of Brgy Paraiso, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was arrested by the responding Civilian Active Auxiliary (CAA), 5^th Infantry Battalion, Patrol Base, Philippine Army of Barangay Pedagan, Mahayag, Further subject person was turned-over to the responding PNP personnel together with one (1) homemade shotgun & three (3) live ammunition. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Mahayag MPS for proper disposition.

LABANGAN - Elements of Labangan MPS Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) and PDEA conducted joint buy-bust operation on illegal drugs at Purok 1, Brgy Tapodoc, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:00 PM of May 21, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Macalawan Lamagan Solaiman, 33 years old, male, married, LGU casual of Labangan Municipality and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Tapodoc, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Recovered from his possession were; one (1) small size and three (3) medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and five (5) pieces of one (1) hundred peso bill with serial numbers rv651915, ap431140, bb953860, nh070415 and ym176599. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Labangan MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Arrest of Wanted Person

DUMALINAO - Operatives of Dumalinao MPS conducted police operation on wanted person (service of arrest warrant) at Purok Pantalan, Brgy. Pantad, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:30 AM of May 21, 2017. The operation resulted to the arrest of Efren Gomonit Saide, 32 years old, married, seaweeds farmer and a resident of Purok Pantalan, Brgy. Pantad, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur, by virtue of alias warrant of arrest with the crime of unauthorized fishing docketed under cc# 3364-d issued and signed on February 27, 2017 by Hon. Pacifico T Cimafranca, Presiding Judge, 9th Judicial Region, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del sur. with bail bond recommended amounted to four thousand pesos (Php4,000.00). Arrested subject person is presently detained at Dumalinao mps for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENT - May 21, 2017

Shooting Incident

DINAS - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Sagacad, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 PM on May 19, 2017. The victim identified as Jayson Vergas Gabato, 22 years old, single a resident of said place. He sustained gunshot wounds on his right arm, right leg and left thigh and immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for treatment Initial investigation disclosed that the victim is watching video inside the house of a certain  Rosena Pospos Ornale when the unidentified suspect wearing a bonnet appeared and with no provocation shot the victim several times.. Suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. The firearm used by the suspect was a caliber .45 pistol based on empty shell recovered at the crime scene. Motive of the incident is personal grudge. Elements of Dinas MPS are still conducting follow-up operation for the possible arrest and identity of the suspect. Investigator-on-case is Po3 Albert R. Vehicular Accident

KUMALARANG - Vehicular accident occurred at Barangay Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:23 AM of May 20, 2017. initial investigation disclosed that the Rural Bus Transit Inc with body number 9588, bearing plate number JVH 447 driven by Cededonio Y Sugabo, married a resident of Pagadian City while traversing along the national highway en-route from Zamboanga City bound for Pagadian City with fifteen (15) passengers onboard, upon reaching at the aforementioned place accidentally missed routed due to heavy rain. while the driver tried to maneuver the said bus, unfortunately fell dawn beside the road that resulted to damages on its bumper and right side cover and resulted in injuries of the passengers to wit: Darryl Jay Daños, 19 years old, a resident of Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay, Christine May Solatorio, 14 years old and Edelyn Solatorio, 16 years old all residents of Lower Dimaya, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur. The passengers were brought to a nearest hospital for treatment. Investigator-on-case is Po3 Mohaliden A Layugan with contact number 09995314727.

Mauling Incident

DUMALINAO - Mauling incident occurred at Purok Santol, Upper Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:45 PM of May 20, 2017. The victim was identified as Jacinto Fabrega Alegado Jr., 34 years old, married, a Barangay Tanod of the said place while the suspect was identified as Junifer Ababon Dano, 37 years old, married, a construction worker, both residents of the above-mentioned place. Further investigation revealed that heated arguments ensued while having a drinking spree that resulted in confrontation. The suspect attacked the victim by whacking the victim’s head with the use of a stone causing the victim to fell on the ground.  Not contented, the suspect beat the victim’s body with the use of a coconut lumber. The victim sustained injuries on the different parts of his body and rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for treatment. The suspect fled after the incident. This resulted in the arrest of Rolie Calimposan Gemilga, 36 years old, with a live-in partner, jobless, a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Balocot, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated from his possession and control were: one (1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu as buy-bust item, two (2) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu for possession and two (2) pieces of two hundred (₱200.00) peso bill as marked money. The arrested person is temporarily detained at Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

MIDSALIP - Combined elements of Midsalip MPS and PPSC conducted manhunt operation at Purok 4, Barangay Dumalinao, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:00 PM of May 20, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Judy Basellote Dela Pacion, 40 years old, married, farmer a resident of Barangay Molicay, Ozamis City. Subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder issued by Hon. Loreto C. Quinto, Presiding Judge of RTC 9, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under criminal case number 01-10233 dated august 5, 2004 with no recommended bail-bond. The arrested person is temporarily detained at Midsalip MPS for proper disposition.

AURORA - Operatives of Aurora MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok Magdadaro, Barangay Monte Alegre, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:30 AM on May 19, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Quirino Ardita Solon, 66 years old, married, businessman and resident of Purok 3, Barangay Balintawak, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of qualified theft, docketed under cc# 17-10, 1424, dated 16 may 2017, issued by Hon. Analyn F Ramas- Constanilla, Presiding Judge, Rtc, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Aurora MPS waiting commitment order from the court.

REPORTED INCIDENT - May 19, 2017

Suicide Incident

JOSEFINA - Suicide incident transpired at Josefina MPS detention cell wherein the victim identified as Edgardo Gomez Gooc, 59 years old, widower, and the suspect for the crime of homicide docketed under criminal case number 2017-10-3383 and temporarily detained at the above-mentioned station. The duty guard discovered the victim at around 7:45 AM of May 18, 2017. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim was discovered hanging by tying a nylon belt around his neck. Josefina MPS coordinated with Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory for further investigation.

Arrest of Wanted Person

TUKURAN - Operatives of Tukuran MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok Kasoy, Barangay Baclay, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:00 PM of May 17, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Tertuliano Cortez Aniero Sr., 75 years old, widower a resident of the above-mentioned place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of grave threats issued by Hon. Romeo T Descallar, Presiding Judge Of RTC 9, Branch 19, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur Dated May 2, 2017 docketed under criminal case number 13466-2k17 with recommended bail-bond of twenty four thousand (₱24,000.00) for his temporary liberty. The arrested person is temporarily detained at Tukuran MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

RAMON MAGSAYSAY - Operatives of Ramon Magsaysay MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok 7, Barangay Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 PM of May 18, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Remy Cinco Tumimang, 22 years old, single, construction worker, a resident of Purok 7, Barangay Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide docketed under criminal case number rm-3248, issued by hon. Ronald C. Tolentino, Presiding Judge Of 10th Municipal Circuit Trial Court Of Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur dated November 3, 2016 with recommended bail-bond of twelve thousand (₱12, 000.00) pesos for his temporary liberty. The accused is temporarily detained at said police station for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENT - May 18, 2017

Shooting Incident

LABANGAN - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Bidlisiw, Barangay Lower Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of May 17, 2017, wherein victim identified as Joseph Benlot Isolana, 37 years old, married, and a resident of Purok Sinamar, Barangay Lower Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot by Eddie Gaodiano, of legal age, a resident of Barangay Upper Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim sustained gunshot wound on his left side of his butt. Suspect fled to unknown direction. Victim was rushed to 1st Infantry Tabak Division Hospital for treatment. Recovered at the crime scene was one (1) slug of cal.45.pistol. PNP elements of Labangan MPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect.

Suicide Incident

SAN MIGUEL - Suicide incident occurred at the residence of Purok Las Hermanas, Barangay Poblacion, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:45 AM of May 17, 2017. The victim was identified as Carlito Campomanes Tanudra, 62 years old, married, construction worker, a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Tipasan, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Victim sustained multiple stabbed wounds on his stomach and one laceration on his right arm using. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was discovered by Edelyn P. Tardo, owner of the house, at around 5:45 am of same date already bathed on his own blood and lifeless. Further, victim was temporarily staying in their house and accordingly complaining or suffering on his incurable illness which maybe the cause of killing himself. PNP elements of San Miguel MPS find out no indication of any possible resistance or foul play. Recovered at the crime scene was one (1) hunting knife.

Unidentified Female Found Dead

TAMBULIG - An unidentified female was found dead at about 6:00 AM of May 17, 2017 at Barangay Lower Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation disclosed that unidentified victim sustained severe wounds on her left knee and abrasions in the different parts of her body and wearing black t-shirt, colored short pants and approximately aging from 20 to 25 years old, more or less, 5”2’ feet in height. Victim was brought by personnel of Tambulig   Rural Health Unit to Pagadian City Medical center for medical confinement and treatment. Further, victim was hit and run by undetermined kind of vehicle. Tambulig MPS is now conducting follow-up investigation to identify the type of vehicle involved and the identification of driver.

Stabbing Incident

PITOGO - Stabbing incident occurred at Barangay Tongao, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:00 PM of May 17, 2017. Wherein one Henry Ubay-Ubay Gahiton, 32 years old, farmer and a resident of same place was stabbed by Daniel Duhaylungsod Luzon a.k.a “Dandan”, of legal age, farmer, Barangay Tanod and a resident of Purok Camia, Brgy Tongao, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Pitogo MPS responded to the said report. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was having a drinking spree with his companion Marvin Yamit, victim and suspect had a heated argument but pacified by their neighbors on their way home and upon reaching at the unlighted area suspect waylaid and stabbed the victim hitting on the lower portion of his chest. Suspect fled to unknown direction. Victim was brought to Pitogo Rural Health Center medical attention. PNP elements of Pitogo MPS conducted follow up operation for possible arrest of the suspect.

MIDSALIP - Elements of Midsalip MPS with the PPSC augmented personnel conducted manhunt operation at Purok 6, Brgy. Poblacion B, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 AM of May 17, 2017that resulted to the arrest of Epemaco Tapao Laranjo, 57 years old, married, farmer and a  resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Tangiquiron, Tubod, Lanao Del Norte. Subject person has standing warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Ronald C. Dead Body Found

TABINA - A male dead body was discovered at the sea shore of Purok Balite, Barangay Baganian, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 PM of May 16, 2017. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as Ricardo Carpina Damas, 61 years old, widower, fisherman by occupation and a resident of the aforementioned place was found floating lifeless along the sea of the above-mentioned place. The cadaver was already brought by his relatives at his residence prior arrival of the PNP personnel. Investigation disclosed that the victim accidentally drowned while fishing at around 10:00 PM of May 15, 2017 due to bad weather condition. The investigator-on-case is still conducting follow-up investigation to determine if there is a foul play behind the incident.

MIDSALIP - Operatives of Midsalip MPS and PPSC conducted manhunt operation at Purok 6, Barangay Poblacion B, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 AM of May 16, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Epemaco Tapao Laranjo, 57 years old, married, a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Tangiquiron, Tubod, Lanao Del Norte. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of grave threats docketed under criminal case number m-3186 and malicious mischief docketed under criminal case number m-3187 issued by Hon. Ronald C. Tolentino, Presiding Judge Of 10th Mctc, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur Dated July 12, 2012 with recommend bail-bond of five thousand (₱5,000.00) pesos each case for his temporary liberty. Shooting Incident

DUMALINAO - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Paghiusa, Barangay Banta-Ao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:40 PM of May 14, 2017, wherein the victim identified as Joel Bagaan Afable, 32 years old, married, a resident of Purok Malipayon, Barangay Banta-Ao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur , was shot by Richard Caliso Ogoc of legal age a resident of Purok Panaghiusa, Barangay Banta-Ao, Dumalinao Zamboanga Del Sur. initial investigation disclosed that the victim was playing basketball, a heated argument ensued between the suspect who was watching their game. The suspect drew a pistol and fired on the ground but the bullet ricochet   hitting the right knee of the victim who was immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for treatment. The suspect was arrested by the responding elements of Dumalinao MPS. Confiscated from his possession and control were: one (1) unit caliber .45 pistols with inserted magazine loaded with three (3) rounds of ammunition. Shooting Incident

LABANGAN - Shooting incident has transpired at Purok Gin-Awa, Barangay Tawagan Norte, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:40 PM of May 14, 2017. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as Carlo Bayaron Cabañas, 22 years old, single a resident of the above-mentioned place was shot to death by unidentified suspects using a caliber .45 pistols based on the recovered fired cartridge case at the crime scene. Victim sustained gunshot wound on his forehead that resulted to his untimely death while the suspect fled after the incident onboard motorcycle. Further investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was able to shout in visayan dialect and quote wala koy labot ana. Recovered from the crime scene was one (1) fired cartridge of caliber .45. Pistol. Elements of Labangan MPS are still conducting further investigation for the possible identity and arrest of the suspect. Motive of the incident is still undetermined. Stabbing Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Stabbing incident occurred at Jamisola Street, Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City at about 2:00 AM of May 14, 2017. The victim was identified as Henio Sarcena Dagandan, 28 years old, married, a resident of Purok Nangka, Barangay Tuburan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. He sustained several stab wounds on the different parts of his body. Investigation disclosed, that at about 2:00 am of the same date, after a drinking session inside debistro KTV bar, located at Jamisola Street, Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City, the victim together with his brother Daniboy Dagandan accidentally collided with unidentified male person wearing black sleeveless shirt with black long pants while on their way home. The said suspect reacted and he summoned his cohorts with more or less ten (10) male persons confronted and mauled the victim and his brother. During the commotion, unidentified person stabbed the victim several times using an ice pick. After the incident, the suspects fled to unknown direction. The Pagadian City Police Station is coordinating with the owner of Gevarel Hospital Supply and Drug Store and the manager of Honda des, Alano Branch for the reviews of their CCTV records for the possible identification of the fleeing suspects.

MARGOSATUBIG - Combined operatives of Margosatubig MPS, RPSB9, Provincial Intelligence Branch-ZSPPO, PDEA and Regional Intelligence Division 9 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Santan, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 AM of May 13, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Mohaiden Mohammad Zulueta, 22 years old, married, a resident of the above-mentioned place. Confiscated from his possession and control were: eight (8) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, drugs paraphernalia and two (2) pieces of one hundred (₱100.00) peso bill bearing serial numbers lw290968 and cv652686 as marked money. He is presently temporarily detained at ZSPPO for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

MAHAYAG - Shooting incident has transpired at Purok 1, Barangay Upper Sto. Niño, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:20 AM of May 10, 2017. Victim identified as Edgar Branzuela Lahaylahay, 45 years old, a resident of the above-mentioned place was shot to death by unidentified person using a caliber .45 pistols based on the recovered four (4) fired cartridge cases of same caliber. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, while the victim was at his residence located at the above-mentioned place, unidentified suspect wearing black jacket arrived and asked the victim for a glass of water to drink. a minutes later, the victim went at the deep well adjacent to his house when the suspect followed the victim and with no apparent reason shot the victim for several times hitting on the different parts of his body which resulted to his instantaneous death. The suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. Recovered at the crime scene were: four (4) pieces fired cartridge case of caliber .45. Motive of the incident is land dispute. REPORTED INCIDENT - May 10, 2017

Dead Body Found

PAGADIAN CITY - A dead body was found at along National Highway Of Pagadian City Bound To Zamboanga City Particularly At Purok 3, Motosawa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 06:00 AM of May 9, 2017.. The PNP team from Dumalinao MPS found out one (1) dead body of a male person in prone position along the national highway. Victim was wearing black t-shirt with downtown marking, wearing digitalized pants and estimated to be 5’ to 5’2” in height, 16-18 years of age and victim’s hands were tied in the back, tied with a black cable tie wire.  Recovered from the crime scene were two (2) empty cartridge and (1) live ammo of cal. 45 pistol. Post mortem examination conducted by Dr. Patrick Kean Toledo - Municipal Health Officer of Dumalinao, disclosed that victim sustained four (4) gunshot wounds: one (1) gunshot wound on the head, one (1) gunshot wound on the nape and two (2) gunshot wounds on the back proximal to right shoulder that caused his untimely death.  Further, investigation disclosed that at pass 12 midnight of May 09, 2017 residents on above mention place heard six (6) guns burst from the area and thereafter a speeding vehicle left the area. Victim is still unidentified and now at Gamalinda Funeral Homes, Tuburan District, Pagadian City.

DUMALINAO - Vehicular traffic accident transpired at Purok Luy-A, Sebucao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:40 PM of May 09, 2017wherein (v1) Honda XRM 125, color black and blue combination driven by Noel Perdiguez Ybañez, 28 years old, single, poultry farm worker and a resident of Purok Madasigon, Lala, Pagadian City, with back rider Judy Perdiguez Ybañez, 16 years old, grade 5 and Ryan Perdiguez Ybañez, 23 years old, poultry farm worker of same place, (v2) BAJAJ tri wheeler, color yellow, driven by Lyndon Watas Arado, 31 years old, married, unemployed and a resident of Purok 2, Poblacion Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur, and (v3) Suzuki alto, color silver with red plate# ske124 driven by Baychan Abog Selen, 38 years old, married, government driver (dost) and a resident of Purok Gemelina, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Investigation conducted disclosed that vehicle-1 was traversing from Brgy. Sebucao, Dumalinao, bound to Poblacion Dumalinao, while vehicle-2 was traversing from Guipos, bound to Pagadian City and vehicle-3 was moving from Pagadian City bound to San Miguel, that upon reaching at Purok Luy-A, Sebucao, Dumalinao, vehicle-1 hit vehicle-2 at the left rear portion and also vehicle-1 hit the opposing moving vehicle vehicle-3 at the left side mirror and left door. as a result the driver and the two (2) back rider of vehicle-1 sustained minor injury and was bought to dumalinao health center for medical treatment, while vehicle-2 and vehicle-3 no injured person reported. DINAS - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 1, Brgy. Guinicolalay, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 PM of May 07, 2017, wherein victim Marwa Anda Ladisan, 46 years old, married, farmer and resident of Brgy. East Migpulao, Dinas, was shot by an unidentified suspect using undetermined caliber of firearm. Victim sustained gunshot wounds on his left thigh and right knee and was brought to Chavez Medical Clinic for immediate medical treatment and subsequently brought to Pagadian City Hospital for further treatment. PNP personnel of Dinas MPS still are conducting thorough investigation and follow-up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the fleeing suspect.

Dumagoc, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:45 PM of May 7, 2017, wherein victim Meriam Gentiles, 52 years old, female, widow and resident of Purok Sweet Rose, Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City was shot to death by an unidentified suspect using undetermined caliber of firearm. Suspect fled immediately towards unknown direction after the incident onboard single MC Mio, color black with white combination and no plate number. The victim was identified as Soliaman Jaranilla Saikadatu, 39 years old, married, a resident of Barangay Diplo, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur. He sustained several gunshot wounds on his head that resulted to his instantaneous death. Initial investigation disclosed that victim was sitting at the above-mentioned place, when two (2) unidentified persons approached the victim and with no provocation shot the latter. Recovered at the crime scene were: four (4) fired cartridge of caliber .45 pistols. The victim was brought by his relatives to Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur. Motive of the incident is personal grudge. GUIPOS - Shooting incident occurred at Purok 2, Barangay Singclot, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:45 PM of May 6, 2017, wherein the victim identified as Condrado Mag-Usara Davis, 43 years old, married an Elected Barangay Kagawad of said place, was shot to death by unidentified suspects. Victim was seen lifeless at the grassy portion and bathed with his owned blood. initial investigation disclosed that while the victim was on his way home from his farm land located at the above-mentioned place, two (2) unidentified suspects shot him several times hitting on the different parts of is body that caused his untimely death. Motive of the incident is land dispute. Guipos MPS is still conducting follow-up investigation for the possible arrest and identity of the suspect. STABBING INCIDENT

ROXAS - PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT AT ABOUT 7:30 PM OF MAY 5, 2017, FLORENTINO SOLATORIO ANGGANA, 67 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, AND BRGY COUNCILOR OF BRGY. SALISIG, ROXAS ZN APPEARED AND REPORTED TO ROXAS MPS THAT THERE WAS A STABBING INCIDENT HAPPENED AT BRGY SALISISG, ROXAS, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE WHEREIN THE VICTIM IDENTIFIED AS ERIC TROPICO GUMOLON, MALE, SINGLE, RESIDENT OF SITIO MAGUTONG, BRGY SALISIG, ROXAS, ZN WAS STABBED BY JERRY GARIG EPAT, 48 YEARS OLD OF SAME PLACE. ACTED ON THE SAID REPORT, ALERT TEAM OF ROXAS MPS PROCEEDED TO THE AREA OF INCIDENT TO VERIFY THE VERACITY OF THE REPORT. INITIAL INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED, THAT PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT THE VICTIM, WHO WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF LIQUOR, MAULED THE SUSPECT WITHOUT ANY VALID REASON. THE SUSPECT, WHO WAS ARMED WITH 10 ½ INCHES WOOD WITH SHARP-POINTED EDGE, STABBED THE VICTIM THREE TIMES. VICTIM SUSTAINED STABBED WOUNDS ON HIS CHEST AND LEFT UPPER ARM WHICH THEY BROUGHT TO ROXAS HEALTH CENTER AND LATER FORWARD TO ZANORTE MEDICAL CENTER FOR IMMEDIATE MEDICAL TREATMENT. SUSPECT WERE PROPERLY TURNED-OVER BY THE BRGY TANOD JERITO MORO GUMOLON TO ROXAS MPS FOR PROPER DISPOSITION AND NOW DETAINED AT SAID STATION.

TUBURAN, MAHAYAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR WHEREIN VICTIM IDENTIFIED AS JURY GONGOB HOMELES, 32 YEARS OLD, SINGLE, FARMER AND A RESIDENT OF PUROK 2, BRGY. TUBURAN, MAHAYAG, ZDS WAS STABBED BY MARLO BARONG ADWISAN A.K.A. “LANGGAY”, 25 YEARS OLD, SINGLE AND HIS BROTHER MARJUN   BARONG ADWISAN, 29 YEARS OLD, SINGLE, FARMERS AND BOTH RESIDENTS OF PUROK 5, BRGY. TUBURAN, MAHAYAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. INITIAL INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT THE SUSPECTS HAVING A DRINKING SESSION AT THE VIDEOKE STORE AND THE VICTIM ARRIVED ASKING IF HE CAN BUY A FOUR (4) BOTTLES OF BEER, WITHOUT ANY VALID REASON SUSPECT STABBED THE VICTIM HITTING ON THE STOMACH AND WAS BROUGHT TO LTMPC COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, MAHAYAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR FOR MEDICAL ATTENTION. SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED BY THE RESPONDING TEAM OF MAHAYAG MPS AND NOW DETAINED AT SAID STATION FOR FILING OF APPROPRIATE CHARGES IN COURT.

Shooting Incident

TAMBULIG - Shooting incident transpired at Barangay Sagrada Familya, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 PM of May 4, 2017, wherein the victim identified as Elmer Cascaho Abellana, 26 years old, single a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Sagrada Familia, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot by the suspect identified as Roel Royo Libonpasil, 39 years old, married, a resident of the same place. Victim sustained gunshot wound on his left arm and was brought to ace hospital, located at Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur for treatment. The suspect was arrested and turned-over by the Barangay Chairman of said place to Tambulig MPS for proper disposition. Motive of the incident is still undetermined.

Progress Report on Encounter Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Please be informed that on May 4, 2017 at about 1:00 AM, Pagadian CPS received a phone call from duty security guard of Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center located at Barangay Dao, Pagadian City informing that several soldiers arrived and brought one (1) lifeless body of a male person. The lifeless body was identified as Jomar Bawan Becsala, 24 years old, married, a resident of Purok Durian, Barangay Lizon Valley, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. Further, at about 1:40 AM of the same date, Jomar Bawan Becsala declared dead by the attending physician Dr. Merhe Jay Carreon. The victim sustained several gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body and later brought to Gamalinda Funeral Homes, Barangay Tuburan, Pagadian City. Initial investigation disclosed that on the early morning of May 3, 2017, 1lt Roderick H Alcantara, Company Commander Of Charlie Company Of 53 Infantry Battalion based at New Onidos, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur together with his men conducted foot patrol within their area of responsibility when suddenly their combat tracker noticed a several combat shoes prints at the soil along their way which they follow it until they reach Purok Durian, Barangay Lizon Valley, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. when they were about to approached the house of Nonoy Bantayan Becsal,) they saw three (3) male person jumped from the door holding guns, the other one in the window and fired upon the troops. The troops immediately position themselves and returned fire but the three (3) male persons escaped. They entered at the said house and found Jomar Bawan Becsala lying on the ground conscious with several gunshot wounds on different parts of his body. The troops immediately applied first aid to control the bleeding of the wounded person. At the said house, the troops recovered one (1) red communist flag, one (1) solar charger, one (1) unit homemade 12 gauge shotgun loaded with one (1) round of ammunition, one (1) fragmentation grenade, three (3) units cellphone, one (1) green shirt uniform of Bagong Hukbong Bayan and several documents.

Robbery Incident

BAYOG - Robbery incident transpired at Purok 5, Barangay Kahayagan, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 PM of May 4, 2017. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 6:00 pm of same date, she was personally informed by Caridad Bantungan, Barangay Utility worker/ house helper informing that the left side window grill of the house was ripped off and three (3) jalousies were removed. When they check/verify the house, assorted travelling bags and personal belongings that were placed inside the cabinet were scattered and undetermined items/belongings were lost and taken. Further investigation disclosed that the owner/spouse of said house were in Zamboanga City for monthly medical check-up. PNP personnel of Bayog MPS conducted thorough investigation and follow up operation for the possible identity of the suspect.

MIDSALIP - Joint elements of Midsalip mps and PPSC conducted manhunt operation at Purok 1, Barangay Golictop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 AM of May 4, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of Fener Lood Cael, 34 years old, married, a resident of the above-mentioned place. subject person was arrested  by virtue of warrant of arrest   for the crime of brigandage docketed under criminal case number 12-10899 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge Of Branch 30, RTC 9, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur dated July 10, 2012 with recommended bail-bond of one hundred twenty thousand (₱120,000.00) pesos for his temporary liberty. The arrested person is temporarily detained at Midsalip MPS for proper disposition.

Implementation of Search Warrant

DIMATALING - Joint elements of Regional Intelligence Division (RID), Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Public Safety Company (ZSPPSC), 2nd mc of Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB) And Dimataling MPS, implemented simultaneously the service of three (3) search warrants at Purok 2 Bongcawil, Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:30 AM of May 4, 2017, issued by Hon. Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge Of Branch 29, Capitol Compound, Pagadian City. Search warrant number 17-005 for violation of RA 9165 against Salin Usman, 32 years old, married, Barangay Tanod of the above-mentioned place. This resulted in the arrest of the said respondent and seizure of the following  items : four (4) heat sealed plastic sachets containing crystalline substance of suspected to be shabu, drugs paraphernalia, one (1) magazine short for caliber 5.56, seventeen (17) rounds of ammunition for caliber 5.56, one (1) magazine for caliber .45 loaded with eight (8) rounds of ammunition for caliber .45, of and one (1) unit caliber .45 pistol (norinco).while the implementation of search warrant number 17-008 for violation of ra 10591 against the respondent Gialem Usman, legal age and search warrant number 17-004 for violation of RA 9165 against the respondent Saunting Usman, of legal age both residents of the same place yielded negative result. The witnesses during the implementation of the search warrants were Ustads Sabana, Barangay Secretary And Ebren Dris, Sangguniang Member All Of Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del sur. the arrested person is temporarily detained at pdea lock-up cell for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

MAHAYAG - Combined operatives of Mahayag MPS and Tangub MPS conducted operation at Purok 2, Barangay Kabuhi, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:30 PM of May 4, 2017. Arrested was Ronald Sarong Mananawong of legal age, a resident of Barangay Manga,Tangub City. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case number tc-2017-006 issued by Hon. Sylvia A. Singidas-Machacon Presiding Judge of RTC 10, Branch 16, Tangub City. The arrested person was brought to Tangub City for proper disposition.

Encounter Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - An encounter incident between the alleged members of NPA and members of 53rd (cav) Phil. Army under 1^st Lt. Roderick L Alcantara at the vicinity of Sitio Sirawag, Barangay Lison Valley, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:30 PM of May 3, 2017 with more or less 15 cts under the group of certain Marlon. This resulted to the arrest of one (1) wounded NPA personality, name not yet determined. Recovered from his possession and control were one (1) fragmentation grenade and an NPA flag, with no casualties on the government troops.

This resulted to the arrest of Brandi Balives Bantayan, 25 years old, married and a resident of aforesaid place, by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case no. 13-10,976 issued last September 13, 2013, by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Acting Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with no bail bond recommended. Suspect is now temporarily detained at Midsalip MPS lock-up cell while waiting for court disposition.

Arrested man was identified as Satar Lungkaya Bedo, 39 years old, married, Top 1 Most Wanted Person Municipal Level and a resident of Sitio Pantalan, Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case number 06-027-m-9 issued by Hon. Edilberto G. Absin, Presiding Judge Of Branch 29, RTC 9th Judicial Region, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur Dated April 27, 2006 with no bail-bond recommended. He is temporarily detained at Dimataling MPS for proper disposition.

LABANGAN - Elements of Labangan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Barangay New Labangan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7;00 PM of May 2, 2017. The arrested man was identified as Lacmad Barabag Balimbingan Aka Tuma, 37 years old, married, a resident of Purok Laya, Barangay New Labangan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of sexual assault in three (3) counts docketed under criminal case number 13134-2k16, 13135-2k16 and 13136-2k16 issued by Hon. Benjamin R. Lanzaderas Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region Branch 22, Pagadian City Dated October 18, 2016 with bail-bond recommended of two hundred thousand (₱200,000.00) pesos for each case. He is temporarily detained at Labangan MPS for proper disposition.
