MAKUGUIHON, MOLAVE, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR WHO WAS APPREHENDED AT MOLAVE PUBLIC MARKET, MALOLOY-ON, MOLAVE, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, CHRISTOPHER LUCAÑAS BAGUIO, 45 YEARS OLD, MARRIED AND RESIDENT OF ROXAS ST., BRGY. INCIDENT REPORT - January 29, 2018

Stabbing Incident

LAKEWOOD – On or about 8:20 PM of January 27, 2018, stabbing incident transpired at Purok-4, Brgy Poblacion, Lake Wood, Zamboanga Del Sur, wherein the victim identified as Johny Mantang of legal age, single, Filipino, jobless and a resident of same place was stab by a certain Dionisio Angelog Mangan, 55 years old, married, sari-sari store vendor, Filipino and a resident of same place. investigation conducted disclosed, the said victim was the uncle of the suspect and prior to that incident, they were having a drinking spree in the kiosk situated along the resident of Mr. And Mrs. Saldia together with some of their relatives and a certain Nonoy Aquiño, meanwhile, a heated argument ensued between both parties that resulted into a fist fight, the said victim mauled the suspect while allegedly lied in the pavement and on that process the said suspect drew his hunting knife and stab the victim two times. the victim sustain stab wound on his right upper arm and side portion of his back and immediately rushed at Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Pagadian City for an immediate medication while the said suspect immediately surrendered to Lakewood MPS.

  

INCIDENT REPORT - January 28, 2018

STABBING INCIDENT

BAYOG – ON OR ABOUT 10:30 PM OF JANUARY 27, STABBING INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT PUROK 1, BRGY. PULANGBATO, BAYOG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR WHEREIN VICTIM WAS IDENTIFIED AS ROGER PARMISANA SALIBAY, 22 YEARS OLD, SINGLE, FARMER AND A RESIDENT OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED PLACE WAS STABBED BY HIS OLDER BROTHER RUEL PARMISANA SALIBAY, 35 YEARS OLD, SINGLE, FARMER ALSO A RESIDENT OF PUROK 1 BRGY. PULANGBATO, INITIAL INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT THE SUSPECT WERE HAVING A DRINKING SESSION TOGETHER WITH HIS FOUR (4) NEIGHBOUR’S THAT RESULTED TO A MISUNDERSTANDING AGAINST CERTAIN “KATONG” ONE OF HIS COMPANION AND WHEN THE VICTIM SAW THE SITUATION HE PACIFIED THEM BY PULLING HIS OLDER BROTHER. THAT THEREAFTER THE SUSPECT WENT HOME AND TURNED BACK AFTER A FEW MINUTES WITH A BOLO ON HIS HAND AND IMMEDIATELY STABBED HIS YOUNGER BROTHER. THE VICTIM SUSTAINED ONE (1) STABBED WOUND ON HIS RIGHT LEG AND IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT TO BAYOG RURAL HEALTH UNIT FOR MEDICATION. SUSPECT WAS ARREST BY THE RESPONDING PNP PERSONNEL OF BAYOG MPS AND WAS BROUGHT TO SAID STATION FOR PROPER DISPOSITION.

ARREST OF WANTED PERSON

TAMBULIG – ON OR ABOUT 05:00 PM OF JANUARY 27, 2018, ELEMENTS OF TAMBULIG MPS LED BY PSI EDWIN IMPIL LUMNGO AND PNP MEMBER OF PROVINCIAL MOBILE FORCE COMPANY LED BY PSUPT JEROME DULAY AFUYOG, GROUND DIRECTOR CONDUCTED MANHUNT JOINT OPERATION AT PUROK SUB DIVISION, BARANGAY SUMALIG, TAMBULIG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE OPERATION RESULTED TO THE ARREST OF DARIO SILAGAN, 41 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, FISHERMAN AND A RESIDENT OF PUROK SUB DIVISION, BARANGAY SUMALIG, TAMBULIG, ZDS. SUBJECT PERSON WAS ARRESTED BY VIRTUE OF ALIAS WARRANT OF ARREST WITH CRIMINAL CASE NUMBER 9306-2K9 ISSUED ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2009 BY HON. ROLANDO L. GOAN, ACTING PRESIDING JUDGE OF RTC, 9TH JUDICIAL REGION, BRANCH 21, PAGADIAN CITY FOR VIOLATION OF SECTION 69 PD 705 WITH BAIL BOND RECOMMENDED AMOUNTING TO EIGHT THOUSAND PESOS (PHP 8,000.00). THE ACCUSED IS NOW TEMPORARY DETAINED AT TAMBULIG MPS FOR PROPER COURT DISPOSITION.

THE OPERATION RESULTED TO THE ARREST OF ESTER MAGLASANG ALAMADA, 52 YEARS OLD, FEMALE, MARRIED AND A RESIDENT OF PUROK NANGKA, BANALE, PAGADIAN CITY BY VIRTUE OF WARRANT OF ARREST ISSUED BY HON. BENJAMIN R. LANZADERAS, PRESIDING JUDGE, RTC, 9TH JUDICIAL REGION, BRANCH 21, PAGADIAN CITY, ISSUED ON JULY 31, 2017 WITH CRIMINAL CASE NUMBER 13556-2K17 FOR ESTAFA WITH BAIL BAND RECOMMENDED AMOUNTED TO SIXTY THOUSAND PESO (PHP 60,000.00). THE ACCUSED IS NOW TEMPORARY DETAINED AT PAGADIAN CITY POLICE STATION FOR PROPER DISPOSITION.

INCIDENT REPORT - January 26, 2018

FIRE INCIDENT

MOLAVE – ON OR ABOUT 2:25 AM ON JANUARY 25, 2018 A FIRE INCIDENT TOOK PLACE AT PUROK BULAWANAON, BARANGAY MADASIGON, MOLAVE, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE FOLLOWING RESIDENTIAL HOUSES OWNED BY TEODORO PILARCA, RONALD PILARCA, JAMES MARANTE AND JOSELITO TEVES WERE RAZED BY FIRE. INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT THE FIRE ORIGINATED AT BACK AREA OF THE HOUSE OF MR. TEODORO PILARCA PARTICULARLY AT THE TIRE STORAGE AND THE FIRE ESCALATED INTO NEARBY HOUSES. PNP PERSONNEL OF MOLAVE MPS TOGETHER WITH THE BUREAU OF FIRE OF MOLAVE AND NY VOLUNTEER BRIGADE RESPONDED TO THE REPORTED PLACE OF INCIDENT. THE FIRE WAS TOTALLY EXTINGUISHED AROUND 2:50 AM OF SAME DATE WITH NO CASUALTIES/INJURED DURING THE INCIDENT.  ESTIMATED DAMAGED WAS AMOUNTING TO MORE OR LESS (PHP 800,000.00). PNP PERSONNEL OF MOLAVE MPS AND BUREAU OF FIRE MOLAVE CONDUCTED JOINT INVESTIGATION TO POSSIBLY DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FIRE.

SHOOTING INCIDENT

TABINA – ON OR ABOUT 3:00 AM ON JANUARY 25, 2018, A SHOOTING INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT PUROK DALAMAN, BARANGAY DOÑA JOSEFINA, TABINA, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE VICTIM WAS IDENTIFIED AS FELISA LOMOCSO PAGLINAWAN, FEMALE, 69 YEARS OLD, WIDOW, HOUSEKEEPER AND RESIDENT OF PUROK DALAMAN, DOÑA JOSEFINA, TABINA, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. HE SUSTAINED GUNSHOT WOUNDS IN HER ELBOW, UPPER PART OF HER CHEST, LOWER LEFT JAW AND EXITED ON HER HEAD WHICH RESULTED TO HER INSTANTANEOUS DEATH. INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT AROUND 11:10 PM OF JANUARY 24, 2018 THE VICTIM ALONG WITH HER GRANDCHILDREN WERE SLEEPING INSIDE THEIR HOUSE OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PLACE, WHEN AN UNIDENTIFIED SUSPECT ARMED WITH CALIBER 45 PISTOL SHOT THE VICTIM SEVERAL TIMES.  ACCORDINGLY, THE SUSPECT DESTROYED THE WOODEN WALL OF THE VICTIM’S HOUSE FOR HIM TO GAIN SIGHT OF THE TARGET. UPON GETTING THE CHANCE, THE SUSPECT SHOT THE VICTIM SEVERAL TIMES. THE SUSPECT IMMEDIATELY FLED TOWARDS AT THE GRASSY PORTION OF PUROK HINDANG OF SAID PLACE. FURTHER INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE VICTIM WAS MISTAKENLY RUMORED IN THEIR BARANGAY TO HAVE BEEN ENGAGED IN WITCHCRAFT OR LOCALLY KNOWN AS “MANANAOT” WHICH BELIEVED TO BE THE MOTIVE OF THE INCIDENT. EVIDENCE RECOVERED FROM THE CRIME SCENE WERE FOUR (4) FIRED CARTRIDGE CASE OF CALIBER 45 PISTOL AND THREE (3) SLUGS OF SAME CALIBER AT THE BACK PORTION OF THE VICTIM’S HOUSE. PNP PERSONNEL OF TABINA MPS CONDUCTED THOROUGH INVESTIGATION TO POSSIBLY IDENTIFY, LOCATE AND ARREST THE SUSPECT. INVESTIGATOR ON CASE IS SPO1 NIMROD B. BAJA WITH CELLPHONE NUMBER 09122301706.

STABBING INCIDENT

DINAS – ON OR ABOUT 3:30 PM ON JANUARY 25, 2018, A STABBING INCIDENT TOOK PLACE AT PUROK MARANG, BARANGAY NANGKA, DINAS, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. UPON RECEIPT OF THE REPORT, PNP PERSONNEL OF DINAS MPS TOGETHER WITH THE REPRESENTATIVE OF RHU PERSONNEL OF DINAS MUNICIPALITY MRS. NATY V TUMATAL, PROCEEDED TO THE REPORTED PLACE OF INCIDENT.  UPON ARRIVAL THEREAT, VICTIM IDENTIFIED AS ALEX ENGUITO ECAT, 47 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, FARMER AND RESIDENT OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PLACE WAS FOUND LYING LIFELESS BATHED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD AND SUSTAINED MULTIPLE STABBED WOUNDS IN THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF HIS BODY. THE VICTIM WAS DECLARED DEAD BY THE ATTENDING REPRESENTATIVE OF RHU OF DINAS MUNICIPALITY AND BELIEVED WAS STABBED BY AN UNIDENTIFIED SUSPECT USING HUNTING KNIFE. INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT, AT AROUND 10:00 AM OF SAME DATE, THE LIVE-IN PARTNER OF THE VICTIM GINA HINAMPAS ESCOBIDO, CALLED UP THE VICTIM THRU CELLULAR PHONE CALL. ON THEIR CONVERSATION, THE VICTIM INFORMS HER LIVE-IN PARTNER THAT HE SHOT THE GOAT OWNED BY CERTAIN MATING USING AIR GUN. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, SHE CALLED BACK THE VICTIM THRU CELLULAR PHONE CALL BUT THE VICTIM DID NOT ANSWERED/RESPONDED UNTIL SHE FOUND OUT THAT THE VICTIM WAS ALREADY DEAD. PNP PERSONNEL OF DINAS MPS CONDUCTED THOROUGH INVESTIGATION TO POSSIBLY IDENTIFY, LOCATE AND ARREST THE SUSPECT. INITIAL MOTIVE OF THE INCIDENT BELIEVED TO BE LAND DISPUTE.

KUMALARANG – ON OR ABOUT 2:37 PM ON JANUARY 25, 2018 PNP PERSONNEL OF KUMALARANG MPS CONDUCTED POLICE OPERATION (SERVICE OF ARREST WARRANT) AT PUROK 3, BARANGAY MAHAYAHAY, KUMALARANG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE OPERATION RESULTED TO THE ARREST OF RICARDO PANTALAN BADIA, 54 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, FARMER AND RESIDENT OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PLACE. THE ACCUSED WAS ARRESTED BY VIRTUE OF WARRANT OF ARREST FOR VIOLATION OF SECTION 68 OF PD 705 AS AMENDED BY E.O. 277, ISSUED BY HON. DENNIS P VICOY, PRESIDING JUDGE, RTC 9, BRANCH 20, PAGADIAN CITY WITH NO BAIL BOND RECOMMENDED. ACCUSED IS NOW TEMPORARILY DETAINED AT KUMALARANG MPS FOR PROPER DISPOSITION.

RECOVERY OF UXO (81 MM ILLUMINATING MORTAR)

DUMALINAO - ON OR ABOUT 10:00 AM OF JANUARY 24, 2018 PNP PERSONNEL OF DUMALINAO MPS RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A CONCERN CITIZEN INFORMING THAT ONE MORTAR WAS SIGHTED ALONG THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY OF PUROK ACASIA BRGY ANONANG DUMALINAO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. ACTING ON THE SAID REPORT, PERSONNEL OF DUMALINAO MPS LED BY PO3 DANILO B JAIME JR., RESPONDED AND PROCEEDED INTO THE AFORESAID PLACE, WHEREIN ONE OLD 81 MM ILLUMINATING MORTAR FILLED WITH CEMENT INTO ITS BODY WAS AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. FURTHER INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE SAID MORTAR WAS PREVIOUSLY UNDER THE CUSTODY OF RETIRED 2ND LT JOSEPH CAPUTOLAN WAYCO SR., PHIL. ARMY, A RESIDENT OF THE AFORESAID PLACE, AND ALLEGEDLY THE SAID UXO WERE ALREADY BEEN DEMILITARIZED AND NOT ALREADY ACTIVE AND WAS ONLY USE FOR DECORATION. THE SAID 81 MM ILLUMINATING MORTAR WAS TURN OVER TO THE RESPONDING BOMB SQUAD LED BY SPO1 RUEBEN BALIDO FOR SAFEKEEPING.

PAGADIAN CITY - ON OR ABOUT 4:30 AM OF JANUARY 24, 2018, PAGADIAN CITY POLIE STATION RECEIVED A CELL PHONE CALL FROM CONCERNED CITIZEN INFORMING AND ASKING FOR POLICE ASSISTANCE FOR THERE WAS ONE (1) UNIDENTIFIED MALE PERSON WHO ALLEGEDLY DREW UNIDENTIFIED SHORT FIREARM AND DISCHARGE TWICE AT PUROK PAGAYPAY B, BRGY. KAWIT, PAGADIAN CITY. ACTING ON THE SAID REPORT, PNP PERSONNEL OF PAGADIAN CPS LED BY SPO2 SIMEON G JUMAWAN JR, UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF PSUPT BENITO O RECOPUERTO, RESPONDED AT THE PLACE OF INCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL, THE REPORTED PERSON WAS SUCCESSFULLY ARRESTED AND IDENTIFIED AS FERNANDO S MALAYAN, 51 YEARS OLD, MALE, A MNLF MEMBER BASED ON THE I.D RECOVERED AND RESIDENT OF PUROK ESMERALDA A, BRGY. SAN JOSE, PAGADIAN CITY. RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION AND CONTROL WERE ONE (1) UNIT 9MM LLAMA BEARING SERIAL NUMBER 752359 WITH ONE MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY LOADED WITH FIVE (5) LIVE AMMUNITION AND ONE (1) DEFORM SLUG. THE SAID ARRESTED PERSON IS NOW TEMPORARILY DETAINED AT THE LOCKED-UP CELL OF PAGADIAN CPS WHILE AN INQUEST CASE FOR THE CRIME IN VIOLATION OF R.A. 10591 IS BEING PREPARED. INCIDENT REPORT - January 22, 2018

Arrest of 2 Persons for Illegal Possession of FAs

TUKURAN – On or about 7:30 PM of January 21, 2018, PNP elements of Tukuran MPS arrested the persons of Dennis Dumandos Montecalbo, 27 years old, and Reymark Pangpang Dumandos, 19 years old, single, jobless, both resident of Purok 3, Poblacion B, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur, for illegal possession of firearms. recovered from the possession and control of Dennis Dumandos Montecalbo was one caliber 45 pistol, colt with serial numbers 102344 loaded with one short magazine with seven (7) live ammunition while recovered from the possession of Reymark Pangpang Dumandos was one caliber 45 pistol, Brazos custom, BCG pro’s with serial numbers 273275 loaded with one short magazine with (five) 5 live ammunition and one fragmentation grenade. Also recovered from them was one single motorcycle Honda XRM color black and white combination, without plate number, with chassis numbers kpy00267292. The said suspects were arrested at Purok Makugihon, Brgy. Santo Niño, Tukuran, on a tip from a concern citizen informing the police on the presence of two armed persons. Further, the said two persons believed to be suspects of the previous robbery incident transpired at Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur and other robberies transpired in other neighboring municipalities. The arrested subject persons are presently detained at Tukuran MPS for proper disposition.

Suicide Incident

PAGADIAN CITY – The Pagadian City Police Station received a telephone call from duty security guard of Pagadian City Medical Center located at barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City Sg Harolrel Labandero at about 6:35 AM of January 21, 2018 informing one (1) of the patient fell down from the 3rd floor of the building of the said hospital. Investigation disclosed that the patient was identified as Romeo Sayson Tinipre, 50 years old, male, married and resident of Purok Duranta, Barangay Bomba, Pagadian City. The patient was admitted on January 20, 2018 at around 4:00pm, as per advice of his attending physician named Dr. Rainer Poloyapoy. The patient has heart failure and high blood. The patient was stayed at the male ward of the said hospital located at the 3rd floor of the building. according to the wife of the victim named Felicidad Lunag Tinipre, her husband was depress of his sickness and medical condition and keep on telling that he will commit suicide. That early morning of the same date, while her husband admitted at the said hospital, she noticed that her husband keep on looking at the window of the building but she never thought that he will commit suicide. She asked permission to her husband that she will buy food and left him at the room. When she reach at the ground floor of the building, she heard that someone fell down from the building, she immediately see the person and she discover that it was her husband. The patient was immediately rushed to the emergency room of the said hospital and declared dead at around 7:50 AM of the same date of his attending physician. INCIDENT REPORT - January 19, 2018

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired along Dablo Street, Near Gate 11 Agora Market, Purok Bagong Silang, Barangay Santa Lucia, Pagadian City at about 7:00 PM of January 18, 2018, wherein victim identified as Jovanie Mamawe Ajo, Filipino, 29 years old, male, married, fish port laborer and also a cockfighting gaffer, with home address at Purok Hiniusa, Barangay Lumbia, Pagadian City. Investigation disclosed that while victim was on his way home from attending a house blessing owned by certain Lastimoso at Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City, on board his black honda wave single motorcycle, upon traversing dablo street, near Gate 11 Of Agora Market, Pagadian City, he was waylaid by two (2) unidentified male suspects riding in tandem with undetermined Kawasaki bajaj rouser single motorcycle and subsequently the back rider (suspect) shot the victim twice. Victim reportedly tried to run away from his assailants but was fell and died in the sidewalk. Suspects hurriedly fled towards west direction of Dablo Street, Pagadian City. Pagadian City Police Station requested the assistance of the PNP SOCO team of Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory who later process the crime scene. the said soco team together with the ioc recovered two (2) fired cartridge cases of caliber .45 and one (1) deformed slug believed to be of same caliber at the crime scene. Pagadian CPS is now conducting hot pursuit operation against the fleeing suspects. Motive of the incident are is to be determined. Cadaver of the victim now lies at Gamalinda Funeral Homes, National Highway, Barangay Tuburan, Pagadian City. The investigator on case is Po3 Joel Limbo with cp # 09101750106.

TAMBULIG - On or about 7:10 AM of January 18, 2018, a stabbing incident transpired at Purok 1, Brgy Upper Tiparak, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim identified as Lolito Oridemo Mandawe Jr., 30 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Ginalaban, Tangub City was allegedly stabbed by Romnick Dimigilio Alicante, 28 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 7, Brgy Upper Tiparak, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Further investigation disclosed that prior to the incident; victim and the suspect were having heated arguments due to family problem. That at about 7:00 AM of January 18, 2018, when the victim went out of his house to buy firewood, he was confronted by the suspect and successively stabbed the victim with the use of “hunting knife” hitting the left arm. Victim sustained stabbed wound on his left arm and immediately brought to Blancia Hospital, Molave and later was transferred to Mhars Gen, Ozamiz City for medical treatment and confinement. The subject person is now temporarily detained at Tambulig MPS detention cell while waiting for proper disposition. Motive of the incident is personal grudge. 

Vehicular Accident

PAGADIAN CITY - On or about 10:10 AM of January 18, 2018 a non-motor vehicle traffic accident transpired along National Highway Near Gamalinda Funeral Homes, Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City wherein one (1) red/ white Honda cft125mse motorcycle, no plate attached with driven by Jeffrey Catillo Perater, 25 years old, male, single, Filipino and a resident of Purok-2 Mabini, Barangay Manga, Pagadian City with his back rider identified as Jey Gaco Masong, 24 years old, male, single, Filipino and a resident of Purok-2 Mabini, Barangya Manga, Pagadian City, accidentally bumped into pedestrian later identified as Fernando Lusbog Saranillo, 75 years old, male, widow, Filipino and a resident of Purok Palmera, Barangay Napolan, Pagadian City. Initial investigation conducted by disclosed that the above-mentioned red/ white Honda cft125mse motorcycle was traversing along national highway from barangay manga bound to Pagadian City Proper, upon reaching at the place of incident accidentally bumped into pedestrian who was about to cross the road. as a result the pedestrian/victim sustained injuries and immediately brought to Pagadian City Medical Center (Mendero Hospital) for medical treatment but at about 12:10 p.m. of same date, the victim was pronounced dead by his attending physician Dr. Alexis Arcenas-Amoroso while the driver sustained minor injuries and his passenger was brought to pagadian doctor’s hospital due to head injuries. The driver was brought to Pagadian City Health Office for medical examination and subsequently brought to Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

AURORA – ON OR ABOUT 11:30 PM OF JANUARY 15, 2018, ONE EDGAR VENTIC SARAJENA, 51 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, BRGY CHAIRMAN OF BRGY REST HOUSE, AURORA, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR ACCOMPANIED BY BRGY KAGAWAD NELVIN JUEZAN AND BRGY KAGAWAD LEOPOLDO TAGAAN, BROUGHT TO AURORA MPS ONE ELMER OVILLO DUHAYLUNGSOD, 43 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, FARMER AND A RESIDENT OF PUROK 1, BRGY REST HOUSE, AURORA, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. SUBJECT PERSON WAS THE SUSPECT OF STABBING INCIDENT THAT TRANSPIRED AT THE ABOVE MENTIONED PLACE. VEHICLE AND PEDESTRIAN INVOLVED DESCRIBED AS ONE (1) UTILITY VEHICLE FORD, COLOR RED, BEARING PLATE NUMBER KEF 869, DRIVEN BY EDGARDO BUSTAMANTE PABILAN, 46 YEARS OLD AND RESIDENT OF POBLACION LAPUYAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AND ONE (1) PEDESTRIAN IDENTIFIED AS JOSEPHINE GOSEL DAG-UMAN, 45 YEARS OLD, HOUSEWIFE AND RESIDENT OF PUROK MALINAWON, BARANGAY PAGLAUM, DUMALINAO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT SUBJECT UTILITY VEHICLE FORD WAS TRAVERSING FROM PAGADIAN CITY BOUND TO POBLACION LAPUYAN, ALL OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AND UPON REACHING AT NATIONAL HIGHWAY OF PUROK MALINAWON, BARANGAY PAG-ASA, DUMALINAO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, ACCIDENTALLY SIDESWIPED THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PEDESTRIAN/VICTIM WHO WAS WALKING ALONG THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. THE PEDESTRIAN SUSTAINED INJURIES IN THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF HIS BODY AND WAS BROUGHT TO ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR MEDICAL CENTER FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT. FURTHER INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT THE DRIVER OF SAID UTILITY FORD VEHICLE BELIEVED TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR AND DUE TO A HEAVY RAIN AT THE TIME OF INCIDENT, THE DRIVER UNNOTICED THE PEDESTRIAN/VICTIM WHO WAS WALKING ALONG THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. SUBJECT VEHICLE TO INCLUDE ITS DRIVER WAS BROUGHT TO DUMALINAO MPS FOR PROPER DISPOSITION.

  

INCIDENT REPORT - January 16, 2018

Shooting Incident

MOLAVE – Shooting incident transpired at about 2:15 PM of January 15, 2018 at Purok Ferry, Brgy. Miligan, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Barangay Chairman Jerry Mendoza Geromo, 40 years old, married and resident of Brgy Miligan, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was shot along the road of Purok Ferry, Brgy. Miligan, Zamboanga Del Sur by three (3) motorcycle riding criminals riding two single motorcycles. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 2:00 PM of same date, victim Brgy Chairman Jerry Geromo was at the aforementioned-place seating on-top of his motorcycle while signaling truck driver identified as Dexter Lumapas to haul the red cinder sand of his dump truck on said place. suddenly, one (1) sym motorcycle, color gray black boarded by two (2) motorcycle riding criminals appeared together with one (1) another single stx motorcycle coming from Sitio Nacua, Brgy Dipolo, Molave. The said sym motorcycle then passed-by and stopped at the side of Brgy. Chairman Geromo and thereafter, the back rider shot the latter three times with cal. 45 pistol hitting on the different parts of his body. Afterwards, said suspects left the crime scene boarded their sym motorcycle together with their other companion riding the stx motorcycle but before the left, the gunman fired again his firearm three times. The victim Brgy. Chairman Geromo was immediately brought by the responding concerned citizens/neighbors to Igano Community Hospital, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur, however was declared dead an hour later by the attending physician. Recovered at the crime scene are four (4) spent shells and two (2) slugs of cal. 45 pistols. PNP personnel of Molave MPS are still conducting hot pursuit operation against the fleeing suspects. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.

Dead Body Found

MIDSALIP – a dead body of a man was found lying along the Brgy. Road Of Purok 2a, Barangay Sigapod, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 AM of January 15, 2018. Victim identified as Orlando Balecantos Andiog, 45 years old, single, farmer and a resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Sigapod of Midsalip.  Investigation disclosed that at around 06:00 PM of January 14, 2018, said victim was seen drinking hard liquor at the store of Reynaldo Cabalog Enso at Purok 2b Of Brgy. Sigapod. at around 09:00 pm of the same day, said person left the said store and walked alone towards his home and believed to be very drunk. While he was negotiating the Barangay Road of Purok 2b at around 9:30 PM of the same date, he was allegedly slipped due to a wet and rocky road and fell down. The said person sustained wounds on his head and immediately brought by the responding Brgy. Tanod Christopher Atis and residents of the said place to the barangay hall of the said barangay but it was found dead while they were looking for a vehicle to transport the said person to Midsalip Infirmary Hospital.

RA 9262 Violator Arrested

RAMON MAGSAYSAY - Personnel of Ramon Magsaysay MPS conducted police operation on wanted person at Brgy.Magsaysay, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of January 15, 2018. The operation resulted to the arrest of Matronillo Pulbos Laurente, 56 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of same aforementioned place arrested. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Annalyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, Presiding Judge 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur for violation of R.A. 9262 with cc#14-10, 1072 dated November 14, 2017 with no bail bond fix by the issuing court. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Ramon Magsaysay MPS for proper court disposition.

Farmer Arrested for Murder

SAN MIGUEL - Operatives of Dinas MPS conducted police operation on wanted person (service of arrest warrant) at Purok Quirino, Barangay Poblacion, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:30 AM of January 15, 2018. This operation resulted to the arrest of Constancio Quancing Vergas, 70 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Sagacad, Dinas, Jerry Decierdo Vergas, 35 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Sagacad, Dinas, and Felix Decierdo Vergas, 32 years old, male, farmer, single, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Sagacad, Dinas. This is by virtue of warrant arrest for the Crime of Frustrated Murder, docketed under cc# number 17- 174, issued on November 6, 2017 by Hon. Ruben N. Bance, Presiding Judge, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur, with bail bond recommended amounting to two hundred thousand (P200,000) pesos each. THE VICTIM WAS IDENTIFIED AS VICTOR MANAGO CALGAS, 38 YEARS OLD, SINGLE AND A RESIDENT OF PUROK 6, BRGY. DIGSON, BONIFACIO, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL. INITIAL INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT PRIOR THE SAID INCIDENT, THE VICTIM WAS GATHERING/HARVESTING A COCONUT FRUITS WITH THE USED OF BAMBOO POOL WITH SCYTHE (SANGGOT) IN THE COCONUT LAND OWNED BY A CERTAIN FERDINAND ARABIZ MACQUILING SITUATED AT THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PLACE WHEN THE SERVICE DROP WIRE (LIVE-WIRE) WAS ACCIDENTALLY CUT AFTER IT WAS HIT BY THE FALLEN COCONUT FRUITS, AND  WHEN THE VICTIM INITIATED  AND GATHERED THE FALLEN COCONUT FRUITS, HE WAS ACCIDENTALLY ELECTROCUTED BY SAID SERVICE DROP WIRE (LIVE-WIRE) WHICH RESULTED TO HIS UNTIMELY DEATH AS DECLARED BY THE ATTENDING PHYSICIAN DR. Arrest of Wanted Person

DUMINGAG - On or about 5:00 AM of January 11, 2018, operatives of Dumingag MPS together with intelligence operatives of 53rd IB, Philippine Army, conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok 1, Barangay Bag-Ong Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur. The operation resulted to the arrest of Basilio Buagas and Celestina Buagas, both 61 years old, farmers and resident of the above-mentioned place. Subject persons were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of section 4 of republic act 8048 known as “an act providing for the regulation of cutting of trees”, docketed under cc# 5098-d, dated January 10, 2018 issued by Hon. Crislyn Pangindian, Presiding Judge, 11th MCTC Of Mahayag-Dumingag & Josefina, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur with bail bond recommended of twelve thousand pesos (Php 12,000.00) each. 2 Arrested for Illegal Gambling

PAGADIAN CITY - Operatives of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO and CIDG conducted police operation (anti- illegal gambling operation) at Purok Magsaysay, Barangay Sto. Niño, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:45 PM of January 10, 2018. This resulted in the arrest of two (2) suspects, identified as Cabonilla Kevin Rae Sabate, 28 years old, married and resident of Capitol Creek, Barangay Sto.Niño, Pagadian City and ortega sonny remotigue, 22 years old, single and resident of Capitol Creek, Barangay Sto.Niño, Pagadian City. Confiscated from their possession and control were (Php 1, 400.00) cash, one (1) set mahjong tiles and two (2) pieces dice. Subject persons are now temporarily detained at CIDG detention center, while appropriate case is now being prepared for filing in court.

Murder Suspect Arrested

PITOGO - Operatives of Pitogo MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok 2, Barangay Liasan, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of January 10, 2018 particularly at the house of certain Liza Villamor. The operation resulted in the arrest of Matute Boalan Sanaan, legal age and resident of the above-mentioned place. prior to the arrest, subject person noticed the presence of the PNP personnel of Pitogo MPS during the operation, upon sensing he immediately stood up and draw his sharp bolo and resisted arrest, which prompted the PNP personnel to maim the wanted person and thereby hitting at the right knee and the right arm (bicep). Subject person was immediately brought to Pitogo RHU for immediate medical attention and was referred to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian for further medical attention. Recovered from his possession and control was one (1) sharp bolo measuring 22 inches including its handle; and one (1) pc knife measuring 12 inches including its handle. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder, docketed under cc # 14-111, issued by Hon. Felix B. Rodriguez, Jr., Acting Presiding Judge of Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur Dated October 24, 2014. Three (3) PNP personnel of Pitogo MPS were detailed to secure the said wanted person while confined at the above said hospital.

Stabbing Incident

LAPUYAN - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok 6, Barangay Salambuyan, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:50 PM of January 8, 2018. The victim was identified as Michael Tuhi Pinote, 36 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Salambuyan, Lapuyan Zamboanga Del Sur and suspect identified as Arsinio Ngo Salaman, 48 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of the same place, who was immediately arrested by the responding PNP elements of Lapuyan MPS. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that both the victim and suspect were having a drinking spree, a history of misunderstanding was opened up and went into a sudden heated conversation and an uncontrolled feeling of anger was developed that then the suspect without any hesitation pulled a hunting knife and stabbed the victim once at the left chest that resulted to his instantaneous death. The arrested suspect is presently detained at Lapuyan MPS for proper disposition.

Top 5 Most Wanted Arrested in Pitogo

PITOGO - PNP elements of Pitogo MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Liguac, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM of January 9, 2018. The operation resulted to the arrest of Victor Manlangit which was also known as Victor Maglangit Top Five (5) most wanted person, a resident of said place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crimes docketed under cc # 16-058 for frustrated murder, cc # 14-036 for frustrated murder, cc # 14-037 for multiple attempted murder all issued by Hon. Ruben N. Bance Presiding Judge and cc # 14-034 for murder and cc # 14-035 for murder issued by Hon. Felix B. Rodriguez Jr. Presiding Judge Branch 29, 9th Judicial Region, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Pitogo MPS for proper documentation.

Violation of RA 9165

DIMATALING - Combined elements of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO Drugs Enforcement Unit and Dimataling MPS conducted buy-bust operation at Purok 7, Sitio Quarry, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 PM of January 7, 2018. This resulted in the arrest of Rey Patalot Aso A.K.A. “Tuloy” (Top #8 High Value Target of Dimataling MPS), legal age, married, male and a resident of aforementioned place. Confiscated from his possession and control were three (3) sachets of suspected shabu and three (3) pieces of one hundred peso bills marked money. Arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at PDEA Detention Center while appropriate case for violation of sec. 5 and 11 of RA 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court.

Vehicular Traffic Accident

BAYOG - On or about 9:40 AM of January 7, 2018, the person of Je Ann Ambucay T Balibis, 16 years old, a grade 11 student, fell down from a passenger jeep, bearing plate number KFE-832, driven by Roperto Ollianes Morales, 36 years old, married and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Kahayagan, Bayog. Investigation disclosed that said victim was onboard on the top of said passenger jeep traversing from the Provincial Road Of Purok 3, Barangay Liba, Bayog bound to Poblacion, Bayog but upon reaching at the aforementioned place particularly at Purok 3, Poblacion, Bayog, the victim accidentally fell down on the ground coming from the top of the vehicle. The victim sustained serious injuries on the different parts of her body, right foot and left knee and was immediately brought to Bayog Municipal Health Center and subsequently transferred to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for further treatment. The driver voluntarily surrendered to Bayog MPS while the subject vehicle is now under the custody of Bayog MPS for proper disposition.

BOBONGAN, RAMON MAGSAYSAY, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, WHEREIN THE VICTIM IDENTIFIED AS MELBEN SUNOGAN PALAHANG 48 YEARS OLD, BUSINESSMAN, MARRIED AND A RESIDENT OF PUROK MAHARLIKA, BRGY. POBLACION A, MIDSALIP, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. INITIAL INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT WHILE THE VICTIM  WAS TRAVERSING FROM HIS RESIDENCE BOUND TO PAGADIAN CITY AND UPON REACHING AT THE AFORE-CITED PLACE SUDDENLY THREE (3) UNIDENTIFIED SUSPECTS ON BOARD ON A SKYGO WIZARD 150 SINGLE MOTORCYCLE SHOT THE VICTIM TWICE THAT HIT THE VICTIM AT THE NECK PORTION THAT CAUSED HIM TO FALL DOWN INTO THE ROAD BUT LUCKILY THE VICTIM WAS STILL CONSCIOUS AND ABLE TO RUN TOWARDS THE NEARBY HOUSES AND HIDE HIMSELF TO SAVE HIS LIFE WHILE THE TWO BACK RIDER (SUSPECT) WHO TRIED TO CHASE THE VICTIM FIRED AGAIN TWICE THEN DROVE AWAY TOWARDS PAGADIAN CITY. PITOGO - ON OR ABOUT 8:10 PM OF JANUARY 5, 2018, A SHOOTING INCIDENT TOOK PLACE AT PUROK 2, BARANGAY LIMABAYAN, PITOGO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, WHEREIN VICTIM IDENTIFIED AS WENIE LINTASON NAINGUE, 58 YEARS OLD, MARRIED AND RESIDENT AT BARANGAY FORTUNE, TITAY, ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY WAS SHOT TO DEATH USING CALIBER 45 PISTOL BY HIS YOUNGER BROTHER/SUSPECT IDENTIFIED AS ROMEO LINTASON NAIGUE JR, 39 YEARS OLD, MARRIED AND RESIDENT OF PUROK 2, MANGA, PAGADIAN CITY. VICTIM SUSTAINED MULTIPLE GUNSHOT WOUNDS ON HIS FOREHEAD AND BODY THAT RESULTED TO HIS INSTANTANEOUS DEATH. ACTING ON THE SAID REPORT, PNP PERSONNEL OF PITOGO MPS IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED TO THE REPORTED PLACE OF INCIDENT AND CONDUCTED HOT PURSUIT OPERATION THAT RESULTED IN THE INTERCEPTION AND ARREST THE SUSPECT ON BOARD ON HIS SINGLE MC HONDA XRM 125, COLOR BLUE AT PUROK PAJO, BARANGAY POBLACION, PITOGO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AROUND 8:35 PM OF SAID DATE. PAGADIAN CITY - ON OR ABOUT 6:45 PM OF JANUARY 6, 2018, A ROBBERY HOLD-UP INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT B. AQUINO ST., PUROK BOUGANVILLA, BARANGAY SAN JOSE, PAGADIAN CITY WHEREIN THE VICTIMS WERE IDENTIFIED AS KART YOUNG ABERGAS, 27 YEARS OLD, MALE, MARRIED, BUSINESSMAN AND WIFE, MICHELLE LUIS ABERGAS. INITIAL INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE VICTIMS ARRIVED AT THEIR RESIDENCE LOCATED AT THE ABOVE MENTIONED PLACE WHEN THEY WERE ABOUT TO DISEMBARK FROM THEIR VEHICLE, TWO (2) UNIDENTIFIED MALE PERSONS HOLDING A CALIBER .45 PISTOL EACH APPROACHED THEM. ONE OF THE SUSPECTS, WEARING BLACK JACKET, LONG PANTS, STANDS MORE OR LESS 5’7” TO 5’8”, DARK COMPLEXION WITH MOTORCYCLE HELMET ON, APPROACHED THE DRIVER VICTIM WHILE THE OTHER SUSPECT WEARING T-SHIRT, LONG PANTS, STANDS MORE OR LESS 5’2”-5’3” AND FAIR COMPLEXION HAS APPROACHED THE LADY VICTIM AND AT GUN POINT, DEMANDED THE BAGS IN HER POSSESSION. Victim of Falling Debris

DUMINGAG - On or about 9:00 AM of January 5, 2018, the person of Gary Dycausing, 41 years old, married and resident of Purok 5, Barangay Dulop, Dumingag, was accidentally hit by falling debris of concrete wall of the old Dulop Elementary School building. The victim sustained serious injury on his body and was rushed to LTMPC Community Hospital in Mahayag, but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. investigation disclosed that the PTA- school of Dulop Elementary School of said municipality was having a clean-up drive or locally known as “Pahina System” in which the parents of every student were gathered and work together in cleaning the school. the aforementioned victim along with other parents were busy breaking the concrete wall inside the old school building, when the concrete wall collapsed and fell down into the ground hitting the victim, while the other parents were not injured/hit during the incident. The victim sustained serious injury on his body and was rushed by Dulop teachers to the nearest Dumingag Local Health Center and subsequently brought to LTMPC Community Hospital in the municipality of Mahayag but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Arrest of Wanted Person

AURORA - PNP elements of Aurora MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok Sapang Nayon, Barangay Gubaan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 PM of January 5, 2018. This resulted in the successful arrest of Ponciano Archival, 40 years old, married, cattle buyer and a resident of Purok Sapang Nayon, Barangay Gubaan, Aurora. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 533 issued by Hon. Analyn F Ramas Costanilla, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under Criminal Case Number 17-10-1477 dated december 19, 2017 with bail bond recommended of ₱ 36,000.00 for his temporary liberty. He is presently detained at said police station while awaiting court disposition.

INCIDENT REPORT - January 5, 2018

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Santan, Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City at about 5:55 PM of January 4, 2018, wherein the victim was brought at Hofeliña Hospital, San Francisco District, Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment. Recovered from the crime scene are six (6) pieces empty shell and one (1) piece of slug of caliber .45 for ballistic comparison. Initial investigation disclosed that before the incident happened, the victim identified as Mercy Panlaan Opsima, 55 years old, female, massage therapist, and resident of Purok Santan, Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City was at the Barangay Hall Of Barangay San Jose to Massage Barangay Chairman Allan Sumampong. After that, the victim went home, while walking along the dark portion of the road, the victim was shot several times and was left lying on the ground. According to the bystanders, they heard several gun bursts which came from the dark portion of the road. They saw one (1) unidentified male person ran away riding a motorcycle. They immediately went to the dark portion of the road and saw one (1) female lying at the ground who is the victim of said shooting incident, they immediately rushed the victim at Hofileña Hospital, that at around 6:15 PM of the same date, the victim was declared dead by attending physician Dr. Kristine Prayon. The victim sustained several gunshot wounds on different parts of her body which caused her death.

Shooting Incident

SOMINOT - Shooting incident that transpired at about 10:50 AM on January 4, 2018 at Purok 4, Barangay Upper Sicpao, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation disclosed that the victims were identified as Presco Baguio Tapayan, 52 years old, farmer, and his live-in partner Maria Fe Estaba Pama, 41 years old both residents of Purok 4, Brgy. Upper Sicpao Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur, who were shot by unidentified suspect/s with the use of a caliber 45 pistol based on the empty shells recovered from the crime scene. investigation further conducted disclosed that the victims were onboard a motorcycle from Poblacion Proper, Sominot to buy some foods and while on their way home approaching Purok 4 of said barangay, when they were waylaid by unidentified suspects and shot them several times.  The male victim sustained seven (7) gunshot wounds on his head while his live-in partner sustained two (2) gunshot wounds to her head, one (1) on her neck and two (2) on her back that caused their death. Recovered from the crime scene were three (3) fired cartridges cases of caliber 45. The suspect/s fled away to unknown direction after the commission of the crime. The motive of the incident is believed to be personal grudge. PNP elements of Sominot MPS is still conducting follow-up investigation for the possible arrest of the suspects.

Campaign against Illegal Gambling

AURORA - Elements of Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Forces Company together with elements of Provincial Anti-Illegal Gambling Special Operation Task Force (PAIGSOFT), Provincial Intelligence Branch and elements of Aurora MPS conducted a joint operation against illegal gambling locally known as “swertres” which resulted in the apprehension of Roderick Gamotin Cotingjo, aka “rod”, married, jobless, and resident of Ceniza Street, Brgy Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Subject person was arrested at about 10:00 am of same date while collecting bet money at Purok Sagrada, Brgy Poblacion, of same municipality at about 10:00 AM of January 04, 2018,. Confiscated items include 24-stub, 11 tally sheet, bet money amounting one thousand two hundred pesos (php 1,200.00), and one (1) blue Yamaha krypton 110 motorcycle. Subject person was brought immediately to Aurora MPS for proper disposition and filling of appropriate charges in court..

Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident

LABANGAN - Motor vehicular traffic accident transpired in Brgy. Balimbingan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur w at about 6:10 AM on January 4, 2018, involving one (1) unit Isuzu wing van truck bearing plate no ABK 2650 driven by Raymart Gulle Simudlan, 26 years old, male, single with postal address at Maramag, Bukidnon, with professional driver’s license no. ko2-15-008239 which will expire on February 26, 2018. Initial investigation disclosed that said vehicle was travelling from Pagadian City bound for Cagayan De Oro, and upon reaching Purok Ipil–Ipil, Brgy. Balimbingan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur, the driver of said vehicle fell asleep and hit two (2) houses owned by Danny Panes Barrera, male, 38 years of age, married, and Nida Panes Barrera, female, 62 years of age, separated both residents of Purok. Ipil-Ipil, Brgy. Balimbingan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. These resulted in the wounding of Wilson Alcantara Barrera, 64 years old, separated, resident of the said place. The driver was brought to Labangan MPS for proper disposition.

Murder Suspect Nabbed

TUKURAN - On or about 5:00 PM of January 4, 2018, elements of Tukuran MPS and Veruela MPS, Agusan Del Sur PPO proceeded to Barangay Sambulawan, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur to serve the warrant of arrest against the accused wherein at about 6:00 PM of same date, the above-mentioned PNP personnel arrested the suspect identified as Eduardo Ontong Narguada Alias “Edwin”, 53 years old, farmer, in his house at Purok 2, Barangay Sambulawan, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur in coordination with the Barangay Chairman of said barangay, by virtue of an alias warrant of arrest for murder issued by Honorable Judge Dante Luz N. Viacrucis, Presiding Judge Of RTC Br-6, 10th Judicial Region, Prosperidad, Agusan Del Sur Dated May 13, 2004  with no bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty. The arrested accused is now temporarily detained at Tukuran Municipal Detention Cell ready for transfer to Veruela MPS, Agusan Del Sur for proper disposition.
