Murder suspect in Guipos, ZamboSur arrested in Lalano del Norte

GUIPOS, Zamboanga del Sur (July 27, 2018) – The PNP personnel of GuiposMunicipal Police Station (MPS) successfully arrested the wanted person during theconduct ofpolice operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 2:30pmof July24, 2018 at Purok 1, Barangay San Vicente, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, police official said.

Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) PIO Chief CINSP Helen L. Galvez identified the arrested personasMarquin Gomez y Antone, 33 years old, with live-in partner, driver and a resident of Purok 1, San Vicente, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte.

CINSP Galvez said the accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder docketed under criminal case number 8375-2k6 issued by Hon. Aniceto B. Galon Jr., Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch 20, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur dated April 24, 2007 with no Bail bond recommended for his liberty.

Wanted Person Cuffed in Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur

PITOGO, Zamboanga del Sur (July 27, 2018) - The PNP personnel of Pitogo Municipal Police Station(MPS) successfully arrested the wanted person during the conduct ofpolice operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 7:30 AM of July24, 2018 at Barangay Panubigan, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur, police official said.

Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Galvez identified the arrestedwanted person asEric Balingit Hilamon, 21years old, male, single, jobless and a resident of Purok Palmera, Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur.

CINSP Galvez said that the accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Johnabel H. Tabunda, Presiding Judge of 7th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Dimataling, Tabina and Pitogo dated May 29, 2018 for the crime of Slight Physical Injuries docketed under criminal case number 17-2251-P. The casehas a recommended bail bond of Two Thousand Pesos (Ph 2,000.00) for his provisionary liberty.

Bludgeoning Incident

LABANGAN, Zamboanga del Sur (July 27, 2018) - A bludgeoning incident transpired at Purok Uno, Barangay Bokong, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:30 PM of July 25, 2018.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed, prior to the incident at around 1:30 in the afternoon July 25, 2018, the victim was alone in her house while the suspect suddenly came and forcible attempt to rape the victim. 

The victim resisted against the evil motive of the suspect until they fell down to the ground and the suspect struck the head of the victim several times using a hammer that cause of her instantaneous death.

Victim was identified as Sharon Corpuz Y Rivera, 36 years old, married, housewife, and a resident Barangay Bokong, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. There and then, the suspect immediately fled after the incident and went to his relative to surrender.

The suspect identified as Jomar Braga Y Orot, 20 years old, single, jobless and a resident of same place is in custody of Labangan MPS for proper disposition and a case of Murder is filed against the suspect.

The cadaver of the victim now lies at Gamalinda Funeral Home, Pagadian City. The motive of the incident is rape.

Mauling and stabbing Incident in Molave

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (July 27, 2018) - On July 25, 2018 at about 2:40 AM, The PNP personnel of Molave Municipal Police Station (MPS) received a report from a concern citizen informing that one person who was covered with blood lying along Rizal Avenue more particularly in front of First Consolidated Bank.

Immediately Molave MPS proceeded to the area for the veracity of the said report. Upon arrival thereat, rescuers of Molave municipality was already in the area and brought the person together with his companion who also sustained injuries to Salug Valley Medical Center but referred later to Blancia Hospital for medical treatment.

Both persons were identified as Pedrito Gabero Formentera Jr., 43 years old, male, married and a resident of and Leonardo Lamsin Entrina, 38 years old, male both residing at Prk. 6, Brgy. Pugwan, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.

Based on the statement of the victim Leonardo Entrina, they were on board in their single motorcycle when they were chased by a group of male persons and bumped their motorcycle which caused them to go out of balance and fell on the ground. 

Thereat, the group of male persons without any hesitation helping each other mauled them in the area which caused him to run away for his safety in order not to be severely harmed.

However, his companion Pedrito Formentera was left behind it was then he found out that said person covered with blood lying in the street until rescuers arrived.

It revealed that both persons Pedrito & Leonardo together with his companion identified as Rame Lantaya were involved in stabbing incident at Farplace Videoke House, located at Rizal Avenue, Brgy. Maloloy-on, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur but their other companion Rame Lantaya was not in the area during the mauling incident.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at around 2:00 AM of this date Pedrito, Leonardo & Rame Lantaya were having drinking session at Farplace videoke house wherein Pedrito allegedly took the cellular phone owned by Shiela Mae Basilito employee of said videoke house. The action created disorder in the area after Shiela Mae recovered the cellular phone from the possession of Pedrito which was found inside the motorcycle U-box of the latter.

Afterwards, a commotion broke out towards the group of Pedrito against people in the area which resulted that his companion Rame Lataya stabbed a certain Rexley Aldiano Alton, 18 years old, male, single and residing at Brgy. Diwan, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur who happened to be present in the area and after he stabbed the victim. The latter went after the companion of the victim Rexley and never came back in the area.

In that instant, Pedrito confronted other people and yet threatened to harm them and subsequently on board in their single motorcycle heading towards home. But, a group of male individuals whom they confronted previously chased them until they reached in front of First consolidated bank along Rizal Avenue Molave, in which they were mauled until Pedrito could no longer stood up because of the injuries sustained and his companion Leonardo Entrina who also suffered injuries.

The victim of the stabbing incident Rexley Alton was brought to Salug Valley Medical Center, Molave for medical treatment and he personally identified that the person held responsible of stabbing him was Rame Lantaya who fled away during the commission of the crime.

On the other hand, the victim of the mauling Pedrito Formentera Jr. who sustained serious physical injuries on different parts of his body died in Blancia Hospital, after an hour of medical treatment.

Molave MPS personnel are now conducting thorough about the case to identify the perpetrators more particularly in the mauling incident which resulted to the death of the victim. Investigator on case PO3 Gerald Isidto with cellphone number 090725435469.

Rape Suspect and Child Abuser Arrested in Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur

SOMINOT, Zamboanga del Sur (July 27, 2018) -  The PNP personnel of SominotMunicipal Police Station (MPS) successfully arrested the wanted person duringconduct ofpolice operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 5:00amof July24, 2018 at Purok 3, Barangay Bag-ong Baroy in Sominot muicipality, Zamboanga Del Sur, police official said.

Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9) PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Galvez identified the arrested wanted personasRique Manisan Y Ugmad, 39 years old, farmer, married, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Bag-ong Baroy, Sominot.

PCINSP Galvez said that during the police operation, the operatives was able to recover from the possession and controls of the suspect two improvised marble-feed Air Gun (SUPLONG).

PCINSP Galvez added that the accused was arrested by virtue of Warrants of Arrest docketed under Criminal Case Number 17-10, 1460 for Qualified Rape by Sexual Assault and Criminal Case Number 17-10, 1459 for Child Abuse. Both Warrant of Arrest were issued by Hon. Judge Analyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9TH Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur dated October 2, 2017.

The case has recommended bail for his temporary liberty for Qualified Rape by Sexual Assault is fixed at Two Hundred Thousand (Php200,000.00) pesos and for Child Abuse is fixed at Eighty Thousand (Php80,000.00) pesos, Galvez said.

Farmer Arrested in Dinas, ZamboSur Law Enforcement Operation

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (July 26, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Dinas Municipal Police Station (MPS) successfully arrested the wanted person during the conduct of service of warrant of arrest at Brgy. Ludiong, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 11:42am of July 23, 2018.

Police identified the arrested wanted person as Armando Maliles Gonzales, 38 Years of age, Male, Farmer and resident of Purok Tinangkong, Brgy. ludiong, Dinas Municipality,Zamboanga Del Sur.

This is virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by: Hon. Ruuben N Bance, Presiding Judge of branch 29 Docketed under criminal case # 17-066, July 17, 2017 charge with the crime of Attempted Murder with bail bond recommended Php120, 000.00.

Subject person is now temporary detained at Dinas MPS for proper disposition.

Rape Suspect Cuffed in Tambulig

 TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 26, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Tambulig Municipal Police Station (MPS) successfully arrested the rape suspect during the conduct of police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 10:30am of July 21, 2018 at Purok Bombel, Barangay Sumalig in Tambulig municipality of Zamboanga Del Sur province.

Police identified the arrested wanted person as Lupercio Mamawe Bucar Jr. 27 years old, single, fisherman and a resident of Purok Bombel, Brgy Sumailig, Tambulig of this province.

The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape with Criminal Case number 2018-10-3553 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur dated July 18, 2018.

RA 7610 Violator Arrested in Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur

 TAMBULIG, Zamboangaa del Sur (July 26, 2018) – The PNP elements of Tambulig MPS led by its Chief of Police, Police Senior Inspector Augustus A. Rosendo conducted manhunt operation against Wanted Person at Purok 3, Barangay Lower Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30am of July 23, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest of one Hansil Malicay Y Pagalan, 41 years old, Single, Solar Panel Installer and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Lower Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest with criminal case number 2004-10-1441 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur, for Violation of Section 10, Article VI of RA 7610. The case has bail bond recommended amounting to eighty thousand pesos (Php80, 000.00) for his temporary liberty dated January 18, 2006.

1 killed in Shooting Incident

Molave, Zamboanga del Sur  (July 26, 2018) - An alleged shooting incident transpired at Purok Bagong Silang, Barangay Sta. Rosario, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur about 9:00 PM of July 20, 2018about 35 Kilometers away from the police station. 

Upon receipt of said report, PNP elements of Molave MPS immediately proceeded to the place of incident to verify the veracity of said report.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that, at around 3:30 PM of July 20, 2018 while victim identified as Macario Monteza Y Estanero alias “Jun-Jun”, 36 years old, married, farmer, a resident of said place was riding his single motorcycle, XRM 125, color red going to municipality of Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur to fetch his family.

Upon reaching at the place of incident, he was flagged down by unidentified person and pulled-over to the side of the road and without any provocation the suspect shot him on his head.

Right after the incident, the suspect immediately fled towards municipality of Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Said victim was immediately brought to Emergency Hospital, Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental for immediate medical treatment.

Unfortunately, at around 8:30 AM of July 21, 2018, victim was declared dead by the attending physician.

Motive of the incident was believed to be personal grudge. Personnel of Molave MPS are now conducting hot pursuit operation and thorough investigation for the possible identification and apprehension of the suspect. Investigator on case is PO1 Prildem R Fajardo with contact no. 09121902323. 

Reported Incident in the province of Zambanga del Sur on July 19, 2018

One dead in Shooting Incident

PITOGO, Zamnoanga del Sur (July 21, 2018) - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 2, Brgy Liasan, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 PM of July 18, 2018.

Police identified the victim as Alexis Suico Sabandal aka “Allan”, 51 years old, single, farmer and resident of afore-mentioned place. He was found dead by responding elements of Pitogo MPS sustaining gunshot wounds.

Initial investigation conducted, disclosed that, prior to the incident at about 9:00 PM, the victim was having a drinking spree and a videoke, singing together with his friend identified as Johny Villamor and several neighbors. T

The victim was already drunk when the drinking session was over and subsequently went home. That after few minutes, about 9:30PM, the residents heard three times shots from an alleged undetermined caliber of firearms which seems originated from the house of the victim.

With utmost concern for the victim, the purok president together with his neighbors proceeded to the house of the victim to determine his situation when nobody answering their call.

They looked for him around the unlighted (total darkness) house where the victim lives alone and with the help of their flashlight they found the victim lay down lifeless at his backyard.

The victim sustained three gunshot wounds (GSW) at his right chest thru and thru his left side of the body and back.

Recovered from the crime scene are the three empty shells for caliber 45 which are now being kept as evidence for further ballistics examination. Motive of the incident is yet to be disclosed.

Stabbing Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (July 21, 2018) - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Jupiter, Barangay Rizal, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur At about 10:00 PM July 18, 2018.

Poloice identified the victim identified as Marvin Dicdican y Aribal, 34 years old, male, single and residing at the abovementioned place. His owned brother identified as Geneven Dicdican y Aribal, 31 years old, male, single and residing of the same place stabbed him.

Victim was immediately brought to Blancia hospital for immediate medical attention.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that based on the eyewitness Mae Flor Dicdican the sister of the victim that at around 9:30 PM of July 18, 2018 his older brother Geneven arrived to their house at the abovementioned place coming from a drinking session together with his other brother Marvin which later followed him in their house.

While in their kitchen both of his brothers had an intense argument that resulted that his brother Geneven punched his other brother in the face which causes him to be out balance and fell on the ground and they immediately pacified and separate each other.

However, his brother Geneven continued to attack his brother Marvin armed with hunting knife and stabbed his brother in the back several times. But, Marvin fought back and they wrestle each other inside the house until his brother Geneven run away towards the back of their house

Cadaver Found

PITOGO, Zamnoanga del Sur (July 21, 2018) - An unidentified cadaver was found at the mangrove area of Purok 3, Brgy Panubigan, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:00 PM of July 18, 2018.

The personnel of Pitogo MPS together with Glen B. Impel, Municipal Sanitary Inspector proceeded to the area to conduct investigation.

Upon arrival thereat personally perceived by the responding PNP and some residents the body of unknown male person hampered at the mangroves and believed to have been carried by the strong current and waves during the typhoon.

Thereat, initial investigation conducted by Pitogo MPS, disclosed that at about 3:00 o’clockpm of July 18, 2018, the cadaver was discovered by a certain Rebilla Bequiso of legal age, widow and a local resident of Purok 3 of Barangay Panubigan when the latter went to said place to gather some sea shells for their consumption.

She then immediately reported to the barangay officials about of her discovery. The cadaver has his burn tattoo at his left shoulder (a star drawn and a word star written below it and another small star drawn below).

He was arrested by the virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Acts Of Lasciviousness Under Article 336 Of Revised Penal Code In Relation To Republic Act 7610 with criminal case number 13947-2K18 issued by Honorable Judge Analyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City dated July 4, 2018.

PAGADIAN CITY  (July 19, 2018) - Pagadian City Police Station Detective Team has arrested a wanted person at Purok Sweet love, Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian Cityat about 10:30 PM of July 17, 2018.

Pagadian City Police identified the arrested wanted person as Bob Soler Tacloban Paller, 29 years old, male, live-in, Filipino and a resident of afore-mentioned place.

He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation Of Section 5 Of Republic Act 9165with criminal case number 11063-2k13 issued by Honorable Judge Dennis P Vicoy, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City dated November 7, 2013.

Dead Body Found in Pagadian

PAGADIAN CITY (July 19, 2018) – A dead body was found at Purok Makiangayon, Napolan, Pagadian City at about 8:30 o’clock in the morning of July 17, 2018.

Initial investigation conducted by Pagadian CPS disclosed that victim identified as one Junbert Colinares who sustained hacked wounds on his right head, lacerated wound on his neck and numerous stabbed wounds on the different parts of his body. Further, there were no pieces of evidence recovered from the crime scene.

The cadaver of the victim was then brought to Gamalinda Funeral Homes, Tuburan, Pagadian City for proper disposition.

The operation was the implementation of three Search Warrants for violation of RA 10591 against Rodantes Amaya Duhilag, Christopher Urot and Reneboy Baylon, all residents of Barangay San Isidro, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur.

Recovered during the operation from Rodantes A Duhilag (under SW No. 18-002) were: one (1) Caliber 45 caliber pistol bearing serial number 495328, one pcs. Magazines and sixteen live ammunitions.

On the other hand, recovered from Reneboy Tacmoy Baylon (under SW No. 18-004) were: 1 Pc Cal 45 bearing serial No 701684, 1 pc magazine and 4 live ammunitions while recovered from Chistopher A Urot(under SW No. 18-003) were: one pc. 38 caliber pistol bearing Serial No. A2-65852, two pcs live Cal .38 ammunitions and one Cal .357 ammunition.

The whole duration of the search and seizure operation was witnessed by the Barangay Officials of Brgy San Isidro, San Miguel, ZamboangaDel Sur.

Proper inventory of the seized items was conducted by PNP elements of San Miguel MPS in the presence of the respondents and the aforementioned Barangay Officials.

The respondents were brought to San Miguel Municipal Police Station after the operation for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges in the court of law.

Man Arrested in Dumingag for the Crime of Rape in Relation to RA 7610

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 16, 2018) –PNP elements of DumingagMPStogether with PNP Team of ZamboangaDel Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company and PNP Team of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 conducted joint police operation against wanted person at Purok1, BrgyMaralag, Dumingag, ZamboangaDel Sur on July 13, 2018 at about 7:00 AM.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest ofJuliven Bonbon Pacquiao, aka “Ben-Ben”, 22 years of age, single and resident of Brgy. Maralag, DumingagZambo Sur

He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Rape in Relation to RA 7610 docketed under Criminal Case number 2017-10-3367 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Combined troops seized assorted firearms ammunition 

LABANGAN, Zamboanga del Sur (July 6, 2018) –The Joint PNP elements of Labangan MPS, CIDG-Zamboanga Del Sur and Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Forces Company conducted search and seizure operation (Service of Search Warrant) at the residences of the two suspects.

The two suspects identified as SonsongaSalik y Jandal and DaudSalik Y Cortez both located at Purok 4, Tapodoc, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur on July 13, 2018 at about 5:30 AM.

The operation was made by virtue of Search Warrants No. 51-2k18 and 52-2K18 issued by Hon. Dennis P. Vicoy, Executive Judge, RTC 9JR, Multi-Sala Station, Pagadian City dated July 11, 2018.

The joint operating teams confiscated the following items, to wit:

1. OneUnit M-16 Rifle with SN 9056990;

2. One Unit Shotgun without serial number;

3. Three pieces Long Magazines for cal. 5.56;

4. Two pieces short magazines for cal. 45;

2. Seventeen pieces of live ammos for shotgun;

3. One Bandolier for M-16 rifle;

4. One Unit cal. 38 revolver without serial number;

5. TwoUnits unserviceable cal. 38 revolver without serial number;

6. Four pieces of live ammunition for cal. 38; and

7.Twelve pieces ammunition for Carbine M1.          

Further, no items were seized from the house of Daud Cortez Salik during same implementation of search warrant and subject target person SonsongaJandalSalik was not around during the implementation of said Search Warrant while mentioned confiscated items are now in the custody of CIDG-Zamboanga Del Sur for disposition and formal filing of appropriate charges in court.

Stabbing Incident

V. SAGUN, Zamboanga del Sur (July 17, 2018) -  Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Gumamela, Barangay Limason, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of June 15, 2018.

Wherein the victim identified as Lemuel Apac Y Montero, 30 years old, married, farmer and a resident of afore-said place was stabbed by his younger brother identified as Junel Apac Y Montero, 27 years old, married and also a resident of said place.

Initial investigation conducted disclose that prior to the incident, the victim are having a drinking spree together with his father Manuel Apac at their residence when a heated argument collides between the two.

Immediately after the incident the victim was brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medication. Motive of the incident is family problem. PNP elements of Vincenzo Sagun MPS together with Margosa Tubig MPS successfully apprehended the suspect at Margosatubig Regional Hospital at about 10:05 PM of same date and brought the suspect to Vincenzo Sagun MPS for proper disposition. Shooting Incident

MARGOSATUBIG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 18\6, 2018) - Shooting incident occurred at Purok Dos Balatong, Brgy Limbatong, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:50 PM of July 14, 2018.

Initial investigation disclosed that one Lonelo Tumutod Y Legis, 42 years old, married, farmer together with his wife Cristina Tumutod while inside their house located at the above-mentioned place was allegedly shot several times by Doroteo  C. Asilo, 40 years old, farmer, married and a resident of same place.

The suspect (Doroteo Asilo) appeared more or less twenty meters from the back portion of their house and without any apparent reason shot Lonelo Tumutod but luckily Lonelo Tumutod and his wife Cristina Tumutod were unharmed and able to run away from their house and seek for help.

Responding PNP personnel recovered five empty shell of cal. 45 from the crime scene and hot pursuit operation was immediately conducted for the possible arrest of the suspect.

Unfortunately, suspect Doroteo Asilo already left the crime scene and went to unknown direction before the responding team arrived.

Motive of the incident is yet to be disclosed. Investigator is PO2 Earl Deen F. Dingal with cellphone number 0906-398-9676.

Fisherman Arrested in Dimataling for Homicide

DIMATALING, Zamboanga del Sur (July 16, 2018) -On July 14, 2018 at about 8:50 AM, joint PNP personnel of Dimataling MPS and Tabina MPS conducted Manhunt Operation against wanted person at Purok 3, Brgy. Sumpot, Dimataling, ZamboangaDel Sur.

The successful operation wasresulted to the arrest of one Jason Gabato Y Vergis, A.K.A Jason Gabongga @ Ontwa, 23 years old, single, fishing worker and temporary residing at Abong-abong, Tabina, ZamboangaDel Sur, with permanent address at Purok 3, Brgy. Sagacad, Dinas, ZambongaDel Sur.

He was arrestedby virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Ruben N. Bance, Presiding Judge, 9th Judicial Region RTC BR 29, San Miguel, Zamboangadel Sur dated September 4, 2017 for the crime of Homicide, docketed under Criminal Case No. 17-148 with Bail Recommended fixed at Forty Thousand Pesos (Php40,000.00) for his temporary liberty. Subsequently, said wanted person was informed of his Constitutional Rights under Miranda Doctrine.

Human Trafficker Arrested

TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 12, 2018) - Combined elements from PNP-WCPC- MFU, Tambulig MPS and Zamboanga City Police Station 4 conducted a manhunt operation against wanted person at Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur about 9:00 AM of July 10, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Rowena Omaque Sanchez, 29 years old of Kauswagan, Cagayan De Oro City.

She was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest under criminal case no 38795 and 38796 for Human Trafficking dated June 21, 2018 issued by Hon. Shaldilyn B Bangsaja presiding Judge 9th Judicial region Branch 33, Zamboanga City.

Subject person is presently detained at Zamboanga City Police Office detention cell prior turn-over to court concerned.

Robbery Suspect Arrested in Mahayag

 MAHAYAG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 11, 2018) - PNP elements of Mahayag MPS together with Molave MPS personnelconducted police operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Purok 3, BrgyPoblacion, Mahayag, ZamboangaDel Surat about 1:00 PM of July 09, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of one RodelBestudio y Pilapil, 34 years old, single, farmer and a resident of Purok 1, BrgyUpperSto Niño, Mahayag, Zamboanga del sur.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Robbery docketed under CC. No.2009-10-2156 dated July 9, 2009, issued by Hon. Ernesto M. Laurel, Acting Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur with P24, 000.00 recommended bail Twenty-four thousand (24,000.00) pesos for his temporarily liberty.

The accused is now temporarily detained at Mahayag MPS detention cell waiting for court disposition.

Murder Suspect Arrested in Midsalip Police Operation

 MIDSALIP, Zamboanga Del Sur (July 10, 2018)–The combined operating units of PNP successfully arrested one murder suspect during the conduct of joint police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Purok 4, Barangay Pisompongan, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 AM of July 09, 2018. 

The operating troops composed from the PNP personnel of Misalip Municipal Police Station (MPS), Task Force Tugis of Police Regional Office 9, 902^nd Mobile Company of RMFB9, Regional Intelligence Unit 9 and Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company.

Police identified the arrestedmurder suspect as Junior Patihan y Campos, 56 yrs. Old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Pisompongan, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder under Crim. Case No. 15-10, 1146 dated August 27, 2015 and signed by Hon. Analyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, Presiding Judge, 9^th Judicial Region Branch 30 Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with no bail recommended.

More than P6M carted in Highway Robbery Incident

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (July 10, 2018) – More that Php6-million worth of jewelries and personal belongings were carted by the armed ssuspect in a Highway Robbery incident transpired fronting Department of Education Regional Office in Tiguma District, Airport road, Pagadian City at about 8:21am of July 9, 2018, Police Official said.

The victims were identified as Renante Armeñon Ronolo, 28 years old, male, married, ML Lhuiller Company driver and a residents of Balangasan District, Pagadian City and Addis Cortez Ares, 54 years old, male, single, Area Manager at ML Lhuiller with permanent address at Purok Doña Aurora, Ipil, Zaboanga Sibugay and presently residing at Gatas District, Pagadian City.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that Renante (driver) and the Area Manager boarded on Innova Silver grey bearing with plate number YFR 405 and while traversing the road going Pagadian City Airport suddenly one Toyota Vios color grey vehicle with plate number AEB 7356 overtook and allegedly blocked their way.

The three unidentified male suspects gun pointed and one who’s wearing blue t-shirt  hammered the glass window at the driver side and forcibly took the alleged items, to wit;

One sling bag containing 1 TB USB worth Three thousand five hundred pesos (P3,500.00),

Two cellular phone  (iPhone 7plus worth sixty eight thousand pesos (P68,000.00) and Samsung keypad worth five hundred pesos (P500.00);

One described as Habagat brand containing Jewelries worth amounting to one million nine hundred four thousand and four hundred pesos (P1,904,400.00) in a  pouch and

Six hundred forty five thousand and eight hundred fifty pesos (P645,850.00) in a pouch and

One Acer laptop worth twenty six thousand five hundred;

One described as black bag containing jewelries worth two million and thirty five thousand and four hundred pesos (P2,035,400.00) and Three million and one thousand three hundred seventy five pesos (P3,001,375.00) worth of jewelries;

One grey bag containing documents and two passports under the name of Mr. Albert Patrimonio Regencia and Mrs. Emmalinda Belara Regencia; and

One bag color grey containing personal things of Mr. Avelino Coningco Varquez Jr,.

After the suspects successfully carted the said bag packs, the four unidentified suspects quickly rides their gate-away vehicle car (Vios) fled to North Direction.

Further investigation conducted averred that Mrs. Emmalinda Belara Regencia, Regional Manager of ML Lhuiller and Avelino Coningco Varquez Jr., driver of Hilux White bearing with plate number ABO 7456 convoyed the Innova.

Upon noticed that there were armed male persons stopped/blocked their Innova they then decided to turn their vehicle back away from the armed men.

PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station are now conducting manhunt operation for possible apprehension of the fleeing suspects and coordination with the neighboring Municipal Police Station to conduct checkpoint.

Still, Pagdian City Police Station is conducting follow up/in-depth investigation as to the identification of the suspects.
