Shooting Incident
The Mahayag Municipal Police Station received a report
from Geraldo Tigao Angcap, 42 years old, single, driver by occupation and a
resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Balamban, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur informing that
a shooting incident transpired at Purok 1, Brgy. Daniel C. Mantos, Mahayag, Zamboanga
Del Sur at about 8:15 PM of June 12, 2016, Upon receipt of the report, PNP elements of
said station led by SPO2 Julito T Pamalaran, IOC proceeded to the aforesaid
place of incident to conduct ocular investigation. Investigation conducted
disclosed that victim identified as Analyn Pepito Jaylo, 24 years old, single,
and a resident of the aforementioned place while on her way home on board with
a single MC together with her live-in partner identified as Geraldo Tigao
Angcap and driven by a certain Jerson Entag from a drinking spree in Brgy.
Balamban, Mahayag, ZDS and upon reaching at Purok 1, Brgy. Daniel C. Mantos,
Mahayag, ZDS was allegedly shot by unidentified suspect using undetermined kind
of firearm. Victim sustained lone gunshot wound on her left ear which exited to
her left cheek and was rushed to LTMPC Community Hospital, Mahayag, ZDS for
medical treatment. Mahayag MPS is now conducting follow up investigation to
identify the suspect and to determine the motive of the incident. Investigator
