DEAD BODY FOUND

ON OR ABOUT 6:30 AM OF SEPTEMBER 28, 2017, A MALE DEAD BODY WAS FOUND FLOATING AT THE RIVERBANK IN BARANGAY LANTIAN, LABANGAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE VICTIM WAS IDENTIFIED AS RUBEN BOBBY TAMBONG, 38 YEARS OLD, SINGLE AND RESIDENT OF PUROK MAKUGIHON BARANGAY SAN ISIDRO, LABANGAN, ZDS. INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT, THE VICTIM HAD A DRINKING SESSION WITH NESTOR SEREÑO, LEGAL AGE AND RESIDENT OF SAME PLACE BUT WHEN THE VICTIM WENT HOME PASSING ALONG THE BRIDGE BOUND TO BARANGAY LANTIAN AND SAN ISIDRO ACCIDENTALLY FELL DOWN TO THE RIVERBANK DUE TO DRUNKENNESS. ELEMENTS OF LABANGAN MPS CONDUCTED THOROUGH INVESTIGATION TO DETERMINE WHETHER THERE IS A FOUL PLAY INVOLVED.

VEHICULAR ACCIDENT:

ON OR ABOUT 6:10 PM OF SEPTEMEBR 28, 2017, A VEHICULAR ACCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT NATIONAL HIGHWAY OF BARANGAY SAN ISIDRO, MAHAYAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE VEHICLE AND MOTORCYCLE INVOLVED WERE ONE (1) UNIT ISUZU ELF TRUCK (CARGO) BEARING PLATE NUMBER KFG 105 DRIVEN BY JONEL GO-OC ADELFA, 26 YEARS OLD, SINGLE AND RESIDENT OF BRGY. PELOCOBAN, TAMBULIG, ZDS AND ONE (1) SINGLE MC MOTOPOSH BOXER 125 MOTORCYCLE DRIVEN BY HELBERT ALBARO LOPECILLO, 33 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, FARMER AND RESIDENT OF BRGY. PARASAN, MOLAVE, ZDS. INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE ISUZU ELF TRUCK WAS PARKED AND LOADING SACKS OF RICE GRAINS ALONG NATIONAL HIGHWAY, BRGY. SAN ISIDRO, MAHAYAG, ZDS WITH A HAZARD SIGNAL BUT NO EARLY WARNING DEVICE (EWD) AND OCCUPYING ONE LANE GOING TO MOLAVE, ZDS WHEN THE SINGLE MC MOTOPOSH BOXER 125 DRIVEN BY HELBERT ALBARO LOPECILLO TRAVERSING FROM MAHAYAG GOING TO MOLAVE ACCIDENTALLY BUMPED THE REAR END LEFT PORTION OF ISUZU ELF TRUCK. AS A RESULT, THE DRIVER OF SINGLE MOTORCYCLE SUSTAINED SERIOUS INJURY ON HIS HEAD AND DIFFERENT PARTS OF HIS BODY THAT RESULTED TO HIS INSTANTANEOUS DEATH. BOTH VEHICLES INCURRED MINOR DAMAGES AND ARE UNDER THE CUSTODY OF MAHAYAG MPS FOR PROPER DISPOSITION. INVESTIGATOR ON-CASE IS PO3 JOSEPHUS M ELORDE WITH CELLPHONE NUMBER 0997-920-6544.

JUDGE DENNIS P. VICOY, RTC MULTI-SALA STATION, PAGADIAN CITY AGAINST RADSAC SILONGAN BAGO (ARRESTED) AND RANDY SILONGAN BAGO (WAS NOT AT SAID PLACE DURING THE SEARCH) AT BRGY. UPPER CAMPO ISLAM, LABANGAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. AS A RESULT, THE TEAM SEIZED ONE (1) UNIT CALIBER 9MM PISTOL ARMSCOR WITH SERIAL NUMBER 883769 AND ONE (1) MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY LOADED WITH NINE (9) LIVE AMMUNITIONS, AND ONE (1) UNIT CALIBER .45 PISTOL NORINCO WITH SERIAL NUMBER 276551 AND ONE (1) MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY LOADED WITH SEVEN (7) LIVE AMMUNITIONS. SAID OPERATION WAS SERVED LEGALLY, ORDERLY AND SUCCESSFULLY IN THE PRESENCE OF HON. WAHAB DAGUNDOL, BRGY. CHAIRMAN AND HON. MOHALIDEN MELICANO BRGY. Project Double Barrel

A drug suspect was arrested by Drug Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO during buy-bust operation at Purok Mirasol, Poblacion Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:45 PM of September 27, 2017. The suspect was identified as Roy Utlang Alabata, 26 years old, single and a resident of Purok Mirasol, Poblacion Margosatubig. Confiscated from his possession were one (1) heat sealed straw sachet of shabu and two (2) pieces ₱100.00 peso bills marked money with serial numbers ga071879 and as54300. He is temporarily detained at PDEA detention cell for proper disposition.

Combined elements of Margosatubig MPS and Drug Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Dama De Noche, Sitio Luguimit, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 PM of September 27, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Marcelino L. Berenio, 35 years old, single and a resident of Purok Dama De Noche, Sitio Luguimit, Margosatubig, al-Jayson L. Jupackal, 26 years old, single and a resident of Brgy. Lumbog, Margosatubig, and Louie Potenciano, 27 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. Poblacion, Margosatubig. Confiscated from their possessions were one (1) heated sealed transparent sachet of shabu and three (3) pieces ₱100.00 peso bills marked money with serial numbers aq753060, cv132746 and ju725912. Arrested suspect is detained at PDEA detention cell in Capitol Complex, Pagadian City while the case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared.

RA 9262 Violator Arrested

A farmer was arrested at District Kanaway, Barangay Lumbia, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:00 PM of September 27, 2017. Tabina MPS identified the arrested as Joel Maghinay Bolongon, 31 years old, married farmer and a resident of aforementioned place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 9262 issued by presiding judge Hon. Ruben N. Bance, RTC, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed Under Criminal Case No. 17-102 with bail bond recommended amounting to eighty thousand pesos (₱80,000.00).  He is temporarily detained at said police station while waiting for final adjudication from the court. 

REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 27, 2017

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident occurred at Purok 3, Brgy. Boyugan East, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:05 PM of September 26, 2017, wherein victim identified as Lino Lusayan Catag, 53 years old, married, farmer a resident of said place. He was rushed to Kumalarang Rural Health Unit. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that victim while sitting inside of their house suddenly unidentified perpetrator/s appeared thereat and shot the victim hitting at the upper part of his right shoulder and immediately rushed to Kumalarang Rural Health Unit for immediate medical treatment but later on was referred to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center. Suspect/s fled to unknown direction. Kumalarang MPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect.

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at Rizal Avenue, Fronting RD Pawnshop, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City at about 7:40 PM on September 25, 2017 wherein victim Josie Calamba Gabule, 57 years old, female, widower, businesswoman and resident of Purok Rosas, Barangay Lumbia, Pagadian City was shot by unidentified person.  investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was on her way home on board a green Kawasaki three wheeler passenger vehicle coming from boss gym located at Trace Arcade, Pajares Avenue, Pagadian City and upon reaching at the placed of incident, suspect was waylaid the victim onboard black Yamaha mio and suddenly, the back rider/ suspect shot the victim several times. The victim managed to disembark but was fell down at the sidewalk due to gunshot wound. Suspects fled towards east direction of Rizal Avenue, Pagadian, the victim was brought by the bystanders to Pagadian City Medical Center for medical treatment but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. The victim sustained lone gunshot wound on the left side of her upper abdomen that resulted to her instantaneous death. PNP personnel of Provincial Crime Laboratoy Office recovered two (2) fired cartridge case of caliber .45 and one (1) deformed slug of same caliber at the crime scene. PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS eyeing on three possible motives of the incident, to wit: the 1st motive is  love triangle as victim was noticeably had an illicit love affair with a married man (army) from Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur. Recently, victim was confronted twice with the wife of her lover that resulted to their heated arguments; the second motive is personal grudge due to money matters as allegedly, victim was engaging in lending business and demanded one of her barrower to pay the cash amounting to three hundred thousand pesos but said barrower got angry with her; and the third motive is land conflict as victim was recently won a civil case for land dispute against one of her family relatives. Cadaver is now at Fatima Funeral Homes, Rizal Avenue, Lumbia District, Pagadian City.

Stabbing Incident

Stabbing incident transpired at Purok 6, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Zamboanga Del Sur. at about 6:00 PM on September 25, 2017. The victim was identified as Agustin Montemor Tic-Ing, 50 years old, male, single and resident of Purok 06, Sta. Cruz, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was already brought to Pagadian City Medical Center and was stabbed by suspect Ardie Same Somoson, 26 years old, male, married and resident of same place. Victim sustained stabbed wound on his body and was brought by Cristituto Daulong Polenzo Jr., To Pagadian City Medical Center for immediate medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician. Further, the incident was personally witnessed by certain Frelyn Unabia Ramirez. The suspect was arrested by the responding PNP personnel of Labangan MPS and is now temporarily detained at Labangan MPS, while appropriate case is now being prepared for filing in court against him. PNP personnel of Labangan MPS conducted thorough investigation to possibly determine the motive of the incident.

Vehicular Traffic Accident

Vehicular traffic accident transpired at Zulueta Street Purok Bajada Brgy. Dao Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 03:30 PM of September 25, 2017 wherein vehicle involved Isuzu dump truck bearing plate number YBD 692, driven by Peter Asanji Paradji, 35 years old, male, married, a resident of Purok Palmera Napolan Pagadian City, loses brake resulted to bumped white Mitsubishi l300 FB body with plate no. ZJB 131, Isuzu crosswind wagon with plate no. YCY 311, driven by Mr. Hendry N Moron, 58 years old male, married of Patag Dao Pagadian City passenger tricycle with cab no. 0876 driven by Jembert Mamonta Toledo, 23 years old, male, single of Lower Bagong Silang Balangasan Pagadian City, Honda xrm 125 color red, with plate no. JA 61846 driven by Geofrey Tantan Arnoco, 48 years old, male, married, of Purok Villaren Banale, Pagadian City together his backriders identified as Erlinda T. Arnoco, 68 years old, female, married, of Molave Zamboanga Del Sur, Mary Grace Adla-On, 11 years old, female, Purok Balatong Danlugan, Pagadian City And Honda XRM 125 color blue with plate no. JA 51227 with unidentified driver with his passenger identified as Gloria Sorila Cabuga, 48 years old female, married, Vanessa Mae Cabuga, 5 years old, and both a res. of Tubod Lakewood Zamboanga Del Sur. As the result thereof, all said vehicles incurred damages, while both drivers and passengers of each vehicles sustained injury and were all brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment.

Combined elements of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO, PDEA and Bonifacio MPS conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok 6, Brgy. Liloan, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental at about 3:30 PM of September 25, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Sukarno Balimbingan Agcong (leader of Agcong Drug Group under coplan kangkong, Top 9 HVT Regional Level and target list of PDEA Region 10) and Alma Echavez Agcong (wife) both of abovementioned place. evidence recovered: three (3) pieces rectangular shaped medium sized heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; one (1) black sling bag; two (2) units cellular phones; one (1) unit Mitsubishi montero with temporary plate number 130105 and it’s key; one (1) piece one thousand peso bill with serial number AQ 540612 (buy-bust money); personal cash money of arrested suspects amounting to eleven thousand pesos (₱11,000.00). Total weight of confiscated pieces of drug evidences is more or less 5 grams with an estimated street value of ₱53,000. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Bonifacio MPS for filing appropriate charges in court.

Man Held in Checkpoint for Possessing Shabu

Operatives of Tambulig MPS conducted checkpoint operation at Purok 5, Barangay Lower Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 PM of September 26, 2017. This led to the arrest of one Ranil Cardenas Hengania (suspect), 41 years old, single, printing press operator by occupation and a resident of Gumamela St, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was intercepted during checkpoint operation and recovered from his possession and control two (2) transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. the suspect is now temporarily detained at Tambulig MPS, while the investigator on case is preparing the necessary documents for filing appropriate case against the suspect and his driven single mc (motoposh, bida 110, color black with engine #153fmh2go56956, chassis # lb411pceg0056956 without plate number attached was temporarily impounded at the said police station for proper disposition. 

Arrest of Wanted Person

Elements of Molave MPS conducted police operation on campaign against wanted person at Brgy. Dipolo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 AM of September 26, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of Reymar Echevere Reconalla, 18 years old, single, jobless and resident of Purok Vale, Brgy. Dipolo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Judge Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, Rtc, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur Dated February 21, 29017 for the crime of rape through sexual assault (2 counts) docketed under cc#2017-10-3314 and 2017-10-3315 with bail bond recommended amounted to (php180,000.00). The arrested subject person is presently detained at Molave MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Elements of Pitogo MPS conducted police operation on wanted person (service of arrest warrant of Top 2 most wanted person municipal level) at Fantao-Ragat Municiaplity particularly at Brgy. Walu A Datu, Province Of Lanao Del Norte at about 5:00 am of september 26, 2016 The operation resulted in the arrest of Avelino Mabanta Alias “Beling”, 55 years old, married, farmer, a resident of Brgy. Panubigan, Pitogo. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon Edilberto G. Absin, Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur with the crime of murder under cc# 13-034 issued on May 10, 2013 with no bail recommended. The arrested person was immediately brought to Pitogo MPS to undergo proper documentation and booking process and will be turned over to court for proper disposition.

PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Lacturan, San Pedro District, Pagadian City at about 4:00 PM of September 25, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of David Novida Ong, a resident of Fernan Street, Purok Golden Shower, San Pedro District, Pagadian City. Confiscated from his possession were one (1) plastic sachet of shabu and one (1) piece two hundred peso (₱200.00) bill marked money with serial number cs684181 and one (1) piece one hundred peso (₱100.00) bill marked money with serial number cx573325. Said suspect is detained at PDEA detention cell while a case for violation of r a 9165 is prepared by the investigator.

REPORTED INCIDENT - September 25, 2017

Dead Body Found

A dead body was found at the grassy portion beside the road of the old National Highway, Purok Asunsion, Brgy Inasagan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:40 AM of September 25, 2017. Accordingly, a certain Mario Inglis and his nephew were riding their single motorcycle from Barangay Libertad heading to Barangay Inisagan, Aurora when they noticed a person lying at the grassy portion beside the road with blood came out of his nose and mouth. The victim was identified as Santiago Patalinghog Ompad, of legal age, married, farmer by occupation and a resident of Purok Sto. Niño, Barangay Libertad, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Personnel of Aurora MPS is now conducting follow-up investigation relative to the incident. 

REPORTED INCIDENT - September 24, 2017

Hacking Incident:

On or about 6:10 PM of September 21, 2017, a hacking incident transpired at Purok 5, Barangay Matin-Ao, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur. the victims were identified as Sadam Pandayan And Romand Pandayan, both legal age and residents of Purok 5, Barangay Matin-Ao, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur. They were hacked by Caca Daluyon, 25 years old, single, farmer and resident of same place. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, both victims and suspect were drinking a coconut wine while walking heading towards The House of the Suspect but upon Reaching at Purok 5, Barangay Matin-ao of said Municipality, The Suspect Suddenly Hacked the Victims Using His Bolo. As A Result, Sadam pandayan sustained hacked wound on his neck that resulted to his instantaneous death while Romand Pandayan sustained hacked wound on the back portion of his body and was brought to Bayog Municipal Health Center for medical treatment. The suspect Voluntarily Surrendered To The Barangay Officials Of Matin-ao, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur and was subsequently turn-over by Barangay Chairman Warlito Estag to Bayog MPS at about 11:00 PM of same date. The suspect is detained at Bayog MPS lock-up cell while appropriate case is being prepared for filing in court.

REPORTED INCIDENT - September 23, 2017

Arrest of Wanted Person

Personnel of Dimataling MPS and Margosatubig MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Port Area, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 am on september 22, 2017. the operation resulted in the arrest of Ceasar Salupan Calimpong, 34 years old, male, single, fisherman and resident of Purok 7, Barangay Grap, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur.The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide, docketed under cc# 17-445-d, dated july 4, 2017 issued by Hon. Johnabel H. Tabunda, Presiding Judge, MCTC, Tabina, Pitogo And Dimataling, All Of Zamboanga Del Sur with bail bond recommended of twelve thousand pesos (php 12,000.00) and for the crime of theft, docketed under cc# 17-2244-d with bail bond recommended of (php 10,000.00). The arrested subject person is presently detained at Dimataling MPS for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 22, 2017

Lumber without Proper Document Held

Personnel from 2nd Mobile Company, RPSB9 while conducting checkpoint at Barangay Balucot, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:40 PM of September 20, 2017, intercepted of one (1) Kia utility vehicle driven by Gomer Relativo Bantilan, bearing plate number KCD 160, color dark green loaded with an estimated 400 board feet of coconut lumber without any proper document for transport/shipment has been presented. the seized vehicle with the coconut lumber were turned-over to the duty personnel of local environment and natural resources office for proper disposition. The estimated amount of the coconut lumber was fifty thousand pesos (₱50,000.00).

Anti-Illegal Gambling Special Operation

A Swertres collector was arrested by combined operatives of Provincial Anti-Illegal Gambling Special Operation Task Force (PAIGSOTF) and Aurora MPS during operation against illegal number games locally known as “swertres” at Barangay Cabilinan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:45 AM of September 21, 2017. Arrested was identified as Samuel Navaroo Taruc, 40, married, bet collector and resident of Purok Mainline, Brgy. Lantungan, Aurora. He was arrested particularly near the AFP detachment. Confiscated from his possession and control were: twenty one (21) pieces tally sheets with number game combination, one (1) piece 200 peso bill, four (4) pieces 100 peso bills, four (4) pieces 50 peso bills, twenty-two (22) pieces 20 peso bills, four (4) pieces 10 peso coins, thirty (30) pieces 5 peso coins, seventy-seven (77) pieces of 1 peso coins, four (4) pieces 25 centavo coins with the total amount of one thousand, three hundred eight (₱1,308.00) pesos. Arrested suspect is detained at Aurora MPS while waiting for appropriate charges to be filed at court. 

Arrest of Wanted Person

A 43-year old farmer was arrested by elements of Pitogo MPS during manhunt operation at Purok 2, Barangay Punta Flecha, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:30 PM of September 21, 2017. The accused was identified as Julito Bontong Belvar, 43, farmer and a resident of said place. This is by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Ruben N. Bance, Presiding Judge, Pagadian City Dated September 4, 2017 for the Crime of Child Abuse docketed under Criminal Case No. 17-149 with bail bond recommended to Eighty Thousand Pesos ₱80,000.00. He is presently detained at Pitogo MPS lock-up waiting for final adjudication from the court. 

REPORTED INCIDENT - September 20, 2017

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at Purok Tugas, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City at about 2:00 PM of September 19, 2017. An unidentified victim was still lying on the ground with several gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body when the responding personnel of Pagadian City Police Station arrived at the crime scene. The unidentified victim was brought to Jamelarin Hospital in Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City for medical treatment. Unfortunately, he was declared dead at about 6:00 PM of same date by the attending duty physician doctor. Investigation disclosed that victim was allegedly drunk and was walking along the construction warehouse of quatro Otso, Purok Tugas, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City when suddenly an unidentified suspect arrived and shot the victim several times. Recovered from the crime scene were three (3) fired cartridge case of caliber 45 pistol. Accordingly, said victim was a construction worker at the construction site of Mabuhay Located at Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City. A follow-up investigation was conducted at the boarding house of the victim and was able to recover in his room a sales invoice dated September 2, 2017 with a name Dannee Suñe. PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting thorough investigation and follow-up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspect/s. Coordination with the victim’s family are still being conducted to possibly identify the victim as well as to determine the motive of the incident. REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 19, 2017

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at Purok Sunflower, Sitio Mabait, Barangay Poloyagan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:30 PM of September 17, 2017. The victims were identified as Joey Borda Agac-Ac (killed), 34 years old, male, fisherman and a resident of said place and Evenizer Adaza Mozo Jr (wounded), male, single, construction masonry and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Manga, Pagadian City. Investigation conducted disclosed that the two (2) victims were having drinking spree at Purok Sunflower, Sitio Mabait, Poloyagan, Pagadian City, when allegedly, a certain “Maiko” and Evenizer Mozo Jr got wild thereat which resulted in a commotion between the duo. An unidentified male suspect appeared and tried to pacify the commotion, but victim Joey Agac-Ac attack instead the unidentified person. Right after, suspect draw a short firearm and shot the victim Joey Agac-Ac several times hitting the right back portion of his body which caused his instantaneous death while Evenizer Mozo Jr sustained gunshot wounds at the left hand and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for medical treatment. Suspect fled to unknown direction. Recovered at crime scene are five (5) fired cartridge cases of caliber .45 pistols. Pagadian City Police Station now conducting follow up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect. Investigator on case is PO3 Joel Limbo with CP # 09101750106.

Project Double Barrel

PNP elements of Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (ZSPDEU) conducted a joint anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation at Purok Lacturan, San Pedro District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 PM of September 18, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Jezrel Lasaga Aljas, male, 22 years old, married, and a resident of Purok Masanagon 1, San Pedro District, Pagadian City. Confiscated from his possession were one (1) plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu” (buy-bust), one (1) plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu” (possession), and P200.00 peso bill buy-bust money with serial numbers cp524022 and bq655399. The arrested subject person is presently detained at said police office for filing appropriate charges in court.

Arrest of Wanted Person

PNP personnel of Mahayag MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok 5, Barangay Kabuhi, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:30 AM on September 16, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of Artemio Abe Sarong, 49 years old, farmer, and resident of the above-mentioned place. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder, docketed under cc# 2010-10-1083, issued by Hon. Loreto C Quinto, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur Dated December 12, 2003 with no bail bond recommended. He is now temporarily detained at said police station for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at purok Riverside, Sitio Tumoy, Barangay Lower Landing, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 08:30 PM, September 11, 2017, wherein victim Norberto Tudtud Jalalon, 55 years old, married, a livestock buyer and resident of said place, was shot by his elder brother Augustine Tudtud Jalalon. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim had a drinking spree at the rice field adjacent to his residence together his friend’s suddenly suspect appeared and shot the victim hitting at the back of his body and was brought to lorenzo Tan Multi-Purpose Cooperative Community Hospital for immediate medication. Suspect was arrested by the responding personnel of Dumingag MPS and presently detained at said station for proper disposition. The investigator is PO1 Mydell G. Vehicular Traffic Accident

Vehicular traffic accident transpired at National Highway Of Purok 5, Barangay Calolot, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur that at about 6:45 am of september 12, 2017wherein Isuzu van truck bearing plate number JVF 695 colon red driven by albert salva maliao, 31 years old, married, resident of Purok 2, Manticao, Missamis Orriental, and Isuzu elf drop side bearing plate number KDH558 driven by Prudencio Ganzo Jamero Jr, 45 years old, married, also resident of Purok 7, Lower Lamac, Oroquita City. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that while said Isuzu elf drop side traversing towards Municipality Of Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur upon reaching at the place of incident the same avoided a Bajah vehicle who was traversing ahead and suddenly stop to pick-up a passenger prompted the Isuzu elf drop side who was travelling tailing said bajah vehicle avoided and attempt to overtake and while on the process suddenly came into contact by Isuzu van truck who was travelling in opposite direction and subsequently said Isuzu van truck having lost control after he tried to maneuverer but accidentally hit a pedestrian identified as 3-year old child of Purok 5, Brgy Calolot, Tambulig, who was walking at the shoulder/beside of the national highway and successively said Isuzu van truck hit to another Toyota corolla colour grey bearing plate number tsf795 while being parked beside the road. The pedestrian was declared dead by the attending physician. Both vehicles involved and the drivers were brought to Tambulig MPS for proper disposition. Shooting Incident

Shooting incident occurred at at Purok Masinugtanon, Barangay Lala, Pagadian City. The victim was identified as Jaime Cataquiz Hamboy, Filipino, 45 years old, male, married, businessman and a resident of Purok Masinugtanon, Barangay Lala, Pagadian City. Investigation disclosed that at about 9:00 PM of September 10, 2017, while the victim identified as Jaime Hamboy was watching TV program inside the living room of his house, an unidentified male suspect wearing black jacket with hood, maong pants, and the face was partially covered with black cloth with an estimated height of 5’0’’ to 5’2’’, inconspicuously entered his residence and shot the head of the victim once. Victim sustained lone gunshot wound at the right back portion of his head. Immediately right after, suspect hurriedly fled towards unknown direction while the victim was brought by his relatives to Jamellarin Hospital for immediate medical treatment and later transferred to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City. Pagadian City Police Station requested the assistance of the SOCO team of provincial crime laboratory to process the crime scene. Meanwhile, at about 3:20 AM of September 11, 2017, the victim was pronounced dead by his attending physician. Elements of Pagadian CPS are conducting hot pursuit operation against the fleeing suspect. Motive of the incident is love triangle. Robbery/Hold-Up Incident

Robbery/hold-up incident occurred at the Isla Lechon Manok Store located at Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City at about 10:10 PM of September 10, 2017. The victims were identified as Junie Codilla Fulgencio, 33 years old, male, married and a resident of Purok 7, Barangay Mapaluibon, Barangay Dontulan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur together with Jerry Tina Bulatok, 16 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok 7, Baloyboan, Pagadian City, both employees of Isla Lechon Manok (Tiguma Branch- Pagadian City) and temporarily residing at Alta Tierra Subdivision, Tiguma, Pagadian City and Ricky Lungay, owner/manager of Isla Lechon Manok. They were robbed by unidentified suspects. Investigation disclosed that at about 7:00 PM of September 10, 2017, two (2) unidentified male suspects wearing face masked onboard single XRM motorcycle with black and white combination arrived at the isla Lechon Manok Store located at Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City and pretended to buy grilled Lechon Manok. thereafter, one of the male suspects wearing face masked, white t-shirt and long pants forcibly entered the store and pointed a gun and same declared hold-up to Junnie C Fulgencio. Accordingly, said suspect uttered in bisayan dialect quoted as “ayaw singgit! ambi ang kwarta. mo singgit ka patay ka!”. The suspects carted away the cash proceeds of the store amounting to thirteen thousand and forty pesos (₱13,040.00). The suspects immediately fled towards unknown direction after the incident onboard single XRM motorcycle towards Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Elements of Pagadian CPS conducted thorough investigation and follow-up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the fleeing suspects. Suicide Incident

Suicide incident transpired at Purok Panaghiusa, Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Jemson Delloro Generalao, 30 years old, single, unemployed and a resident of said place. Investigation disclosed that at around 11:00 pm of September 10, 2017. Jemon Generalao told Jemmy Salacot that they are going to sleep at the living room. At about 12:00 midnight of September 11, 2017, Jemmy Salacot noticed that Jemson Generalao was not beside him and later saw the victim hanging on the stair railings of second floor. Abruptly, Jemmy asked for help to Rainmard Indong and Delia Salacot. They tried to rescue Jemson by cutting the water flexible host that connects the stair railings to the neck of the victim but the victim was still unconscious. Dr. Patrick Kean Toledo, Municipal Heath Officer of Dumalinao, declared that the cause of the death of the victim was strangulation.

Suicide Incident

Suicide Incident occurred at Purok Waling-Waling, Roxas Street, Barangay Sta. Maria, Pagadian City at about 7:30 AM of September 10, 2017. The victim was identified as May Flor Christy Palapas Dela Rama, female, (lesbian) single, 3rd year college student and resident of same place was found hanging lifeless inside her room. The victim was already lying lifeless in bed and the rope which was attached near the window of the room was detached by his father because of the condition of his daughter hanging on the overhead beam near the window. Investigation conducted disclosed that based on the text messages found in her cellphone, the victim committed suicide due to love break up with her girlfriend who was currently in Cagayan De Oro City. During the ocular inspection conducted inside the room of the victim, one (1) suicide note written in one half piece of yellow paper.  Pagadian City Police Station requesting the office of the city health office officer for the conduct of post- mortem examination. Arrest of Wanted Person

Joint elements of Regional Intelligence Unit 9, 2nd MC, RPSB 9, Regional Intelligence Division 9 and Kumalarang MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok 8, Brgy. Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:00 PM of September 9, 2017 that resulted in the arrest of Ferdinand Lumandap (Most Wanted Person Ranked No. 7 Municipal Level) for the crime of homicide docketed under cc# 10178-2k11 issued by Hon. Judge Rolando L Goan Of 9th Rtc Branch 21, Pagadian City Dated October 21, 2011 with recommended bail bond of forty thousand pesos (₱40,000.00). further, said wanted person believed to be involved in several violent incidents in Kumalarang including the killing of a CAFGU member (tnu), killing of certain ‘’Miguel’’ of Brgy Camungyan, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur and involvement of a violent incident elsewhere in Lanao Del Norte. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Kumalarang MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

PNP personnel of Midsalip MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok 2, Barangay Duelic, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 AM on September 10, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of Aber Tibong Balives, 27 years old, married, farmer and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Duelic, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated during arrest are two parts of one (1) unit disassembled improvise homemade shotgun or locally known as “sumpak” and one (1) of live ammunition of 12 gauze shotgun. the accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder, docketed under cc# 16-10,1340, dated april 10, 2017 issued by Hon. Analyn F Ramas - Constanilla, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with no bail bond recommended. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Midsalip MPS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at Sitio Puting Bato, Purok 1, Brgy. Upper Sicpao, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:15 PM of September 8. 2017. The victim was Jessie Mamalias Balungcas, 36, married a resident of Brgy. San Miguel, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur and temporarily residing at sitio Puting Bato, Purok 1, Brgy. Upper Sicpao, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was shot by three (3) unidentified person. Investigation disclosed that the victim riding his single motorcycle, rusi 110, color black together his family upon reaching at the place of incident, suddenly three (3) unidentified suspects appeared and shot the victim. Suspect fled to unknown direction. Victim sustained gunshot wounds on different parts of the body that caused to his instantaneous death. Recovered from the crime scene were nine (9) spent shells and three (3) slugs believed to be a caliber .45 pistols. PNP elements of Sominot Mps conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspects.

Vehicular Traffic Accident

Vehicular traffic accident transpired at National Highway, Barangay Dipolo, Molave Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:08 PM on September 07, 2017 wherein single mc Honda wave, bearing plate number 090105, driven by Benjamin Malalay Quinaging, 37 years old, married and resident of Purok Aquino, Barangay Miligan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur with back riders Jecelito Quinaging, Lucilo Obuga, Rolly Rubio and Robert Nuevo, all of legal age and residents of Barangay Miligan, Molave, and pedestrian Rogellio Rosales, legal age and resident of Brgy. Miligan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that said single mc was traversing from Ramon Magsaysay bound to Poblacion Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur and upon reaching at the place of incident accidentally bumped a pedestrian who crossed the road. As a result, the pedestrian sustained serious injuries on the different parts of his body and head which resulted to his instantaneous death. The driver and single mc is now under the custody of Molave MPS for proper disposition.

Hacking Incident

hacking incident transpired at Barangay Bularong, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM on September 07, 2017, wherein victim identified as Johnny Payao Agua, 41 years old, married, driver and resident of Purok Durian, Barangay Bularong, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur was hacked by Rolando Pandoma Malintad, 31 years old, married, fisherman and resident of same place. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was having love affair with the wife of the suspect and was caught in the act naked inside their house. Accordingly, the suspect was first hacked by the victim and able to defend himself and hacked same/ hitting on the different parts of his body which resulted to the instantaneous death of the victim. The suspect immediately surrendered to Hon. Cipriana Galadlas, Barangay Chairman of Bularong, Margosatubig. The arrested subject is presently detained at Margosatubig MPS for proper disposition.

Hacking Incident      

Hacking incident transpired at Purok 4, Barangay Beray, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 PM of September 6, 2017. Dinas MPS identified the victim as Rico Pagara Troniado, 46 years old, male, farmer. Accordingly, the victim was on his way home, when suddenly his brother identified as Tommy Pagara Troniado struck a bladed weapon on his head without apparent reason. Fortunately, it barely hit his head that enabled him to evade from another attack. The suspect immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident while the victim was immediately brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medication. Motive of the incident is land dispute. Investigator-on case is PO3 Genesis Achumbre Maghuyop with cellphone number 0909-763-6793.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Combined elements of Guipos MPS and Libungan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Libungan, North Cotabato at about 5:45 AM of September 7, 2017. This resulted in the successful arrest of Marcelino Caparida Tapdasan, 55 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. Nica-An, Libongan, North Cotabato. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case number 8952-2k8 issued by Hon. Romeo T. Descallar, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 19, Pagadian City Dated March 4, 2008 and criminal case numbers 03-125-; 03-126; 03-127; 03-128; 03-129; 03-163; 03-164 and 03-165 for the crime of eight (8) counts rape in relation to ra 7610 dated august 7, 2003 issued by Hon. Francisco G. Rabang, Jr., Acting Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 18, 12th Judicial Region, North Cotabato. Arrested accused is detained at Guipos MPS lock-up cell awaiting court disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 6, 2017

Shooting Incident and Arrest of the Suspects

Shooting transpired at Barangay Militar, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:50 PM of September 5, 2017. The victim was identified as Virgilio Timtim Enderez, 37 years old, married, habal-habal driver and a resident of Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City. He sustained one (1) gunshot wound in his neck and another on the back of his body that resulted to his instantaneous death. Recovered from the crime scene were two (2) empty shell of caliber .45 pistols. However, a hot pursuit operation was conducted, and immediate chokepoint was established for the possible interception of the suspect. Fortunately, at about 8:05 PM of same date, the two (2) suspects were successfully arrested by Tukuran MPS and PPSC personnel at Brgy. Militar, Tukuran Detachment. The suspects were identified as Jalal Sarip Damiano, 26, married and Jamil Sidic Baudi, 29, married, and both residents of Purok Bunk House, Barangay Bunk House, Malabang, Lanao Del Sur. Confiscated from their possession were the following: one (1) caliber .45 pistol colt with defaced serial number; four (4) live ammunitions; one (1) motorcycle owned by the victim; and the wallet of the victim. Motive of the incident is believed to be carnapping. Suspects are detained at Tukuran MPS lock-up cell while an inquest for the crime of murder is being prepared against them. The body of the victim was brought to Gamalinda Funeral Homes at Pagadian City while the recovered single mc Honda XRM 125cc is now at Tukuran MPS for safekeeping. Robbery Incident

Robbery incident transpired at b. ceniza store owned by lolita tiu located at brgy. Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation disclosed that at about 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon of September 5, 2017. The victims were identified as Mary Jane Bragat Baloyos, 33 years old, married, cashier, a resident of Purok Sampaguita, Brgy. Mahayahay and Jocelyn Luba Mejaris, 47 years old, married, saleslady, a resident of Purok Maharlika, Brgy. Romarate, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Accordingly, While sitting at the cashier booth when two unidentified male persons wearing mask and jacket arrived at the abovementioned store, drew a handgun and declared hold-up. The suspects carted the income of the day of the store amounting to fifteen thousand pesos (₱15,000.00), one (1) unit of tablet life ware color white, and two (2) units of Nokia cellphone. After the incident, the two (2) suspects immediately fled on board a single motorcycle motor star color black to unknown direction. Aurora MPS conducted investigation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects.

Suicide Incident

A cadaver found hanging at the gemelina tree using a blanket at Barangay Upper Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 o’clock in the morning of September 5, 2017. The cadaver was later identified as Avelina Lesson Acasio, 54 years old, married, businesswoman, and a resident of Purok Santan of said place. Investigation revealed that the victim was found by his son Julieto Acasio at about 6:00 o’clock in the morning of same date. Further, investigation disclosed that the motive of the incident is all about her debt and financial problem. the cadaver of the victim now lies at Gamalinda Funeral Homes.

Campaign against Illegal Gambling

Intelligence operatives of Molave MPS conducted operations on illegal number games operation at Molave Public Market, Maloloy-On, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 PM of September 04, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of marissa ursabia gerbese (coordinator/bet collector), 33 years old, married, barbeque vendor and a resident of bogo capalaran, molave, zamboanga del sur. confiscated from her possession were the following: two (2) sheets 5" x 3" and a 8" x 5" papers with numerical entries; four (4) one hundred (₱100.00) peso bills bet money with serial numbers cu971899, cy126600, bp053160 and d943058 ; two (2) fifty (₱ 50.00) peso bills bearing serial numbers kj196418 and an426662, and  twenty (₱20.00) peso bill. Suspect is detained at Molave MPS lock-up cell while inquest case for violation of ra 9287 is being prepared for filing in court.

Elements of Dumalinao MPS conducted manhunt operation at Lobregat National High School, Barangay Tickwas, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:20 AM of September 5, 2017 to effect the warrant of arrest against Jubert Villarta, 21 years old, grade 12, a resident of Purok Maisan, Barangay.Sebucao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur; Jesreel Lanzaderas, 18 yrs. old, grade 12, a resident of Purok Upo, Barangay Sebucao, Dumalinao and Albert Morales Jr., 19 yrs. old, grade 12, a resident of Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao for the crime of rape (3 counts) with c.c # 1359-2k17, 13593-2k17 and 13594-2k17 issued by Judge Benjamin R. Lanzaderas, Presiding  Judge Of 9th Judicial Regional Trial Court, Branch 22 with no bail bond recommended. Accused is detained at Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

Felix B. Rodriguez Jr, Presiding Judge,  RTC 9, Branch 18, Pagadian City Dated April 28, 2017 with no bail bond recommended. Accused is detained at Tigbao MPS for proper documentation prior turn-over to the issuing court.

Fire Incident

Fire incident at Purok 3, Barangay Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:30 AM 04 September 4, 2017. Initial investigation disclosed that two houses owned by Camen Zamoras and Michell Libunfacil were razed by fire and vulcanizing shop owned by Norly Delfozo. The fire started at the house of Carmen Zamoras at the dirty kitchen. The fire investigator of Molave BFP is now conducted investigation to determine the real cause of fire. The estimated damaged of Php 600,000.00 of the said fire incident.

Shooting incident transpired at Purok Irene, Barangay Poblacion, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:00 PM on September 4, 2017, wherein Jayme Villapaña Buhayan, 47 years old, farmer and his wife Lydia Andus Buhayan, 47 years old and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Barubuhan, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot by unidentified suspects. Investigation conducted disclosed that victim/spouse were onboard on their driven single mc traversing from Barangay Poblacion, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur. upon reaching at the place of incident two (2) an unidentified suspects onboard single mc, color black, wearing helmet, suddenly overtook and crossed the road from the victims single mc prompting them to stop. when victims/spouse stopped their driven single mc, the back rider of the single MC used by the suspects suddenly drew a caliber 45 pistol and without any apparent reason shot the victims several times. Suspect fled to unknown direction. Victim Jayme V Buhayan sustained multiple gunshot wounds in his body and head that resulted to his instantaneous death while his wife Lydia A Buhayan sustained lone gunshot wound in her left arm and was rushed to sominot rural health center and later referred to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for medical treatment. Recovered from the crime scene are five (5) cartridge case of caliber 45 pistol. PNP personnel of Sominot MPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect. Arrest Wanted Person

Operatives of Margosatubig MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok Orchids, Brgy. Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:00 am on september 4, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of Romy Ferrer, 25 years old, male, single, jobless and resident of Purok Orchids, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur and Reystino Buay, 27 years old, male, married, jobless and resident of Purok Orchids, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. subject persons are arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of frustrated homicide with cc# 17-029, issued by Hon. Arrest of Wanted Persons

PNP personnel of Dinas MPS and Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Public Safety Company conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Sitio Sibul, Barangay Benuatan, Dinas Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:30 PM on September 04, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of Kairoden Macalabo, 23 years old, single, and Macairing Macalabo, 27 years old, married, jobless, both residents of Marantaw, Lanao Del Sur. Subject persons are arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder, docketed under cc# ml-18-2017, issued by Hon. Wenida B Papandayan, Presiding Judge, 12th Judicial Region, Branch 10, Marawi City Dated July 27, 2017 with no bail bond recommended. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Dinas MPS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident occurred at Purok Baluno, Brgy. Kalian, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:30 AM on September 3, 2017. The victim was identified as Julito Malaya Lobo, 31 years old, single, a blacksmith residing in Purok Baluno, Brgy. Kalian, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur while the suspect is identified as Boboy Flore, resident of Brgy Cogon, Vincenzo Sagun and presently residing in the above-mentioned place. Accordingly, both the involved persons had a drinking spree at the store of Ann Remedios in said place wherein while suspect and the victim were on their way home, the suspect took out a handgun of unknown caliber and shot the victim once to his back. The suspect fled to an unknown direction after the incident, while the victim was brought by his family to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for treatment, and later transferred to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center. The investigator-on-case is SPO1 Fernan T Galadlas with cellphone number 0910-475-6838.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Elements of Tambulig MPS conducted a manhunt operation in Purok 3, Barangay Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 AM of September 3, 2017. this resulted in the arrest of Eljun Adaro Tillo, 24 years old, a laborer residing in Purok 3, Barangay Happy Valley, of same municipality. the arrest came by virtue of a warrant for robbery docketed under criminal case number 2017-10-3427 with a recommended bail bond of twenty thousand pesos (₱20,000.00) issued by Judge Jaime B. Caberte, RTC Branch 23, 9th Judicial Region, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur Dated August 18, 2017. Suspect is presently detained at Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

Vehicular Accident

Vehicular accident transpired in Purok 2, Brgy. Esperanza, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. at about 10:30 AM on September 03, 2017. The involved was a black Honda XRM 125 motorcycle bearing plate no. JA29924 registered under the name of Juris an Darunday driven by Samuel Ongui, and a black and white Honda XRM 125 bearing temporary plate no. 090102 driven by Ramat Ullah, 20 years old, resident of Pagadian City. Initial investigation disclosed that as the first vehicle was traversing the road in Brgy. Katipunan, Ramon Magsaysay heading towards Molave of same province, it was accidentally side-swiped by the second motorcycle. Both motorcycles incurred minor damages but the driver of the second vehicle (Ullah), was critically injured and was rushed to Blancia Hospital in Blancia in Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur, while Samuel Ongui fled to an unknown direction. Both motorcycles were brought to Ramon Magsaysay MPS for proper disposition and safekeeping.

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at about 05:00 pm of September 2, 2017 at Purok 7, Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur. Initial investigation conducted that victim identified as Abdul Basit Edang Andi a.k.a “Basco”, 33 years old, married, barangay councilor of poblacion, a resident at Purok 3, Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur. Further investigation disclosed that victim was supposed to go to the house of a certain Esmael Taug located at Purok 7 of said place, riding his single motorcycle, purposely to pay his electric bill. That upon reaching  in front at the house of Mrs. Lumina Taug also of Purok 7 same place, suddenly three ( 3 ) unidentified persons armed with long firearms M16 rifle, appeared and block his way then and there , simultaneously shot the victim several times hitting his head and  different parts of his body that resulted to his instantaneous death. Suspect fled towards the direction of Purok 1 of said place. Recovered from the crime scene were 78 pcs of 5.56mm empty shell, one (1) empty magazine of M16 rifle and one (1) broken hand held radio. The responding team immediately conducted manhunt operation against the fleeing suspects but a negative result. Dimataling MPS is now conducting investigation to identify the assailants. Project Double Barrel

On or about 6:15 pm of August 30, 2017 Pagadian CPS together with 2nd MC RPSB9 conducted joint buy-bust operation at Purok golden shower, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur that resulted in the arrest of Hockiard Roque Carriaga II. And a resident of 0730 Ballesteros village, Purok Gugma, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City. Confiscated from his possession were; 1 plastic sachet of shabu (small), P500 marked money with SN HW833594. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Pagadian CPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Joint elements of Dinas MPS and Pitogo MPS conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Tongao, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:00 PM of September 1, 2017. This led to the arrest of Mario Baul Pangpangan, 23 years old, single, farmer and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Guinicolalay, Dinas. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case nr. 17-071, issued by Hon. Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, with no bail bond recommended. The accused is detained at Dinas Municipal lock-up cell awaiting court disposition.

Joint elements of Diplahan MPS and Bayog MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok 7, Barangay Poblacion, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:00 PM of August 30, 2017. This led to the arrest of George Martorellas Tac-An, 48 years old, widower. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Vicente S. Dela Plaza Ii, Acting Presiding Judge, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 31, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay with criminal case no. im-17-1439 for the crime of rape with one hundred eighty thousand pesos (₱180,000.00) bail bond recommended. Accused is presently detained at Diplahan MPS lock-up cell for proper disposition of the case.
