Shooting Incident
KUMALARANG - An alleged
shooting incident transpired at Purok Malinawon, Brgy, Poblacion, Kumalarang,
Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:54 AM of November 28, 2017. The
victim was identified as a certain Modrika Olanda Abubacar, 35 years old,
married, self-employed and a resident of Purok Waling-Waling, Brgy, Poblacion,
Kumalarang. Accordingly, he was riding his single motorcycle XRM 125 together
with his wife when shot by two (2) unidentified perpetrators on board an undetermined
single motorcycle wherein the driver was wearing a helmet while the back
rider/hit man, who was wearing black jacket, was the one who shot the victim with
the used of caliber 45 pistol. This is based on three (3) empty shells
recovered at the crime scene. Victim sustained three gunshot wound one (1) at
his head and two (2) at his chest which resulted his untimely death. Suspects
fled to National Highway of Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur after the commission
of the crime. Motive of the incident is still to be determined. The cadaver was
brought by the immediate family concern to their house/place due to the reason
that victim’s religion was Islam. The investigator on case is PO3 Mohaliden
Akil Layugan with CP # 09054142138.
Suicide Incident
AURORA - Suicide
incident transpired at the far flung barangay particularly at Purok Pag-Asa,
Brgy. Gubaan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur.
Investigation conducted
disclosed that on or about 8:00 AM of November 28, 2017, the victim identified
as Obaldo Paler Balusada, 48 years old, single, a resident of Purok Pag-Asa,
Brgy. Gubaan, Aurora, Zambonga Del Sur, a care taker of the farmland owned by Fausta
Noval, was found dead beside his house by Jose Seblero Biaño, hung with plastic
twine (straw) tied around on his neck. Further, prior to the incident on or
about 1:00 PM of November 27, 2017 the victim had a drinking session together
with Francisco Lood at the store owned by Francisco Lood located also at the
aforesaid place and the victim went home at around 3:30 pm of the same date. The
aurora MPS is still conducting deeper investigation in relation to the
incident.
