INCIDENT REPORTS - March 31, 2018

Fire Incident in Pitogo

On March 30, 2018 at about 8:22 AM, Fire incident transpired at Purok Calubian, Brgy Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur wherein the house owned by Eugene Cabugas was razed by fire. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the grandmother of the owner lighted a candle at the altar but unfortunately, the lighted candle caught the curtain near the altar which causes the fire and the house was totally razed by fire. At about, 9:05 AM same date, the incident was declared under control by the BFP while Mrs. Maria Suarin (owner’s grandmother) was successfully rescued and unharmed.  The estimated cost of damage is more or less P700, 000.

Hacking Incident in Dumalinao

On March 30, 2018 at about 10:30 AM, Personnel of Dumalinao MPS received a cellular phone call from a concerned citizen informing that a Hacking Incident transpired at Purok Paradise, Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur. Upon receipt of said report, PNP elements of Dumalinao MPS proceeded to the reported place. Police initial investigation disclosed that while the victim William Canopen Denolan, 22, years old, single, Ambulance Driver and a resident of said place was outside his house having a conversation with his neighbor when suddenly suspect identified as Edgar Hemongala Ebarial, 42 years old, ex-convict, a resident of same place and was under the influenced of intoxicating liquor suddenly came near the victim armed with a sharp bolo and without any apparent reason hacked the victim. But fortunately, said victim managed to evade. Said suspect immediately run and hid under the coconut tree of the farm land adjacent from the victim’s house. The responding team immediate conducted hot pursuit operation, was able to arrest the suspect, and confiscated from his possession and control one (1) sharp bolo. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition. Motive of the incident is personal grudge. Investigator is PO2 Keene James T Jayme with contact 09102490367.

INCIDENT REPORTS - March 29, 2018

Shooting Incident 

AURORA - On March 28, 2018 at about 8:25 PM, A shooting incident transpired at Barangay Purok Lovers lane, Barangay San Jose, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur. The victim identified as Erlindo Bontuyan Mora aka Long-long, 30 years old, married, tricycle driver and a resident of Purok Acasia, Brgy Panaghiusa, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation conducted by Aurora MPS disclosed that at around 7:30 PM of same date. The victim together with his live-in partner Renelyn Coronel arrived at the residence of Erenio Coronel father of his live-in partner at Brgy Purok Lovers lane, Brgy San Jose, Aurora ZDS at about 8:30 PM. While Erlindo Mora and Erenio Coronel had a drinking session inside their house, an unidentified suspect went near the window of their house and shot the victim Erlindo Mora hitting on his right arm. The victim was rushed to Aurora Community Emergency (ACE) Hospital located at Brgy Cabilinan, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur for immediately medication but subsequently transferred to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center to Dao, Pagadian City for  further medication. The suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. Recovered at the scene was one (1) empty shell of caliber .45 pistols. Aurora MPS is still conducting thorough investigation for possible identification of the suspect and to determine the motive of the incident. Shooting Incident 

PAGADIAN CITY - On March 28, 2018 at about 10:00 AM, Shooting incident transpired at Purok Curvada, Dao, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. The victim identified as Renante Duyag Perolino, 36 years old, male, married, driver/farmer and a resident of Purok Daraan, Barangay Bulawan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. Unedified suspects shot him to death. Initial investigation conducted by Pagadian CPS disclosed that at around 10:00 AM of same date, the victim was driving motorcycle from Datoc Street corner Pulmones Street, Santa Lucia District, Pagadian City going to Barangay Bulawan. Upon reaching the place of incident a motorcycle riding suspects appeared on his behind and the back rider shot the victim several times causing the victim together with his motorcycle to crashed to the ground. While the victim is on the ground the suspects fired another shots to the victim and immediately fled towards the direction of the adjacent Barangay Bogo, Pagadian City. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of his body and was immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City. The attending physician later declared the victim Dead on Arrival (DOA) at around 10:20 AM of same date. Recovered from the crime scene were four (4) empty shells of .45 cal and One (1) slug of same caliber that will be submitted to PNP Crime Lab at ZSPPO. PNP elements of Pagadian CPS conducted thorough investigation and follow up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspect/s and file appropriate case in court if evidence warrants. INCIDENT REPORTS - March 28, 2018

Fire Incident in Bayog           

Fire Incident transpired at the Ukay-Ukay Sections located inside the public market of Barangay Poblacion, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:00 Midnight of March 28, 2018. PNP elements of Bayog MPS cordoned the area and assist the flow of traffic and secured the area for any looters that might take advantage during the incident. Initial investigation conducted by the investigator of BFP disclosed that, the fire originated below the table from which the Ukay-Ukay has been displayed. The fire lasted for about ten (10) minutes and fortunately, there were no reported injuries/casualties during the incident. The BFP investigator further disclosed that, the cause of fire and estimated damage are still to be determined.

Stabbing Incident in Mahayag             

Stabbing incident transpired at Purok 5, Barangay Daniel C Mantos, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur, At about 9:50 PM of March 26, 2018, wherein victim identified as Geraldo Sugot Neri Sr., 45 years old, married, farmer and resident of Purok 5, Barangay Daniel C Mantos, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was stabbed several times by suspect identified as Guillermo Nepomuceno Dula, 48 years old, married, farmer and resident of the aforementioned place. The victim was rushed immediately to Mahayag Municipal Hospital for immediate medical treatment, but victim was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician Dra. Ramos. Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim and suspect together with Roberto Obod Bacus were having a drinking session outside the house of certain Patrico Urot located at Purok 5, Barangay Daniel C Mantos, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur. After their drinking session, the victim along with Roberto Bacus went to the basketball court of said place and having a conversation, when suddenly the suspect armed with a bolo chased/followed the victim and without any apparent reason deliberately stabbed and hacked him hitting on the chest and left neck portion of his body, while his companion Roberto Bacus ran toward his neighbor asking for assistance. The suspect immediately fled towards undetermined direction after the incident. Wherein at about 10:10 PM of same date, the suspect was arrested by the responding PNP personnel of Mahayag MPS at the Barangay Road of said place and confiscated from his possession and control was one (1) bolo with scabbard. The motive of the incident believed to be misunderstanding. Arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at Mahayag Municipal Detention Center, while appropriate case is now being prepared for filing in court. Suicide Incident in Aurora         

On or about 7:00 PM of March 27, 2018, Punong Barangay Guilermo Damandaman Domdom of Barangay Bemposa, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur personally came and reported to Aurora MPS informing that one of his constituents identified as Felisa Lagnas Cedeño, 81 years old, married, house wife, and a resident of Purok Madanihon, Barangay Bemposa, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur committed suicide at her residence located at said place. Acting on the said report, PNP elements of Aurora MPS immediately proceeded to the abovementioned place to verify the veracity of said report and to conduct investigation. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that, at around 7:00 PM of same date, said victim was found dead by her husband Senon Gormis Cedeño, 88 years old, married with Alzheimer’s disease at the kitchen of their house hung with a rope that was tied around her neck. Further investigation revealed that, upon seeing his wife, he immediately shouted for help in vernacular “Tabang Mo Oy” and immediately their neighbors went to their house and helped him untie his wife and placed her in the bed room. Aurora MPS is now conducting follow-up investigation regarding the incident. Investigator is PO2 Marjuhn L Labiaga with CP # 09213041768.

Murder Suspect Surrendered in Aurora     

On or about 2:00 PM of March 27, 2018, The person of Rosalito Cediño Ecot aka “Titi”, 36 years old, married, tricycle driver and a resident of Zone Imbaw, Barangay Calawisan, Lapu-Lapu, Cebu City personally came to Aurora MPS and voluntarily surrendered to Pcinsp Edgar R Hinoctan, Officer In-Charge. Said accused has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Frustrated Murder docketed under criminal case no. 03-10, 359 issued by Hon. Loreto C Quinto, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with bail bond of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (P200, 000.00) for his temporary liberty. Said person now temporarily detained at Aurora MPS lock-up cell waiting for final adjudication from the court.

INCIDENT REPORT - March 24, 2018

Shooting Incident       

SAN PABLO - A shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Pao, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 AM, 23 March 2018, wherein victims identified as Gairodin Gutang Maguindanawon, 19 years old, married and resident of Brgy. Tarakan, Dinas, and Alladin Sumampong Gutang, 19 years old, jobless and resident also of Tarakan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur, was brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for medical treatment. Investigation conducted disclosed that victims were riding single MC traversing from Barangay Pao to Barangay Kalilangan, all of San Pablo Municipality and upon reaching at Pao Elementary School of said place; an unidentified suspects blocked their way and without any apparent reason shot the victims several times using caliber 45 pistols. As a result, victim Gairodin Maguindanaon Y Gutang, sustained gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body that resulted to his instantaneous death, while his companion/victim Alladin Gutang Y Sumambang, was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for immediate medical treatment, while suspects immediately fled towards the back portion of said school. Evidence recovered from the crime scene are five (5) cartridge case of caliber 45 pistol from the crime scene and will be turn-over to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for examination. PNP personnel of San Pablo MPS conducted man hunt operation for the possible identification and arrest of the fleeing suspect/s. Investigator Is PO2 Rolly T Delo Santos with CP # 09076187897.

  

Implementation of Search Warrant

DUMALINAO - On or about 6:30 AM of March 23, 2018, Operatives of CIDG Zambo del Sur together with personnel from 902nd Coy Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, Highway Patrol Group, and Dumalinao MPS, implemented Search Warrant No.46-2K18 issued by Hon. Dennis P. Vicoy,Executive Judge,9JR,Multi-sala Station,pagadian city at the house premises of Vicente Dela Torre,Sr. at Purok Magallanes,Brgy.Tickwas, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. The search resulted to the confiscation of Two (2) improvised 12 gaugeshotgun, One (1) magnum .22 revolver, one (1) Rifle 22, Seven (7) pcs cal.45 live ammo, four (4)pcs 12 gauge live ammo shotgun, six (6)pcs magum 22 live ammo, four (4) pcs cal 22 live ammo, one (1) pc shotgun magazine, one (1) cal. and 45 magazine. The search was witnessed by Brgy. Kag.Edwin F. Ligan and Brgy. Kag. Andres B. Ligan both resident of Brgy. Tickwas, Dumalinao, ZDS. The search ended at about 7:45 AM of same date. The arrested person together with confiscated items was immediately brought to CIDG ZDS PFU Office for documentation and proper disposition.

 

Fragmentation Grenade Found

AURORA - On or about 5:34 PM of March 23, 2018, PNP personnel of Aurora MPS received a cellular phone call from Hon. Antolin Albaño Macababayao, 54 years old, married, Barangay Chairman of Kahayagan East, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur informing that a fragmentation grenade was found at Purok Dahlia, Barangay Kahayagan East, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Acting on the said report PNP personnel of station led by SPO3 Charlemagne M Lopez, immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident to verify the report. Upon arrival thereat, One (1) Fragmentation Grenade (Cacao Type) was found, particularly at the rented house owned by Vicente Solon at Purok Dahlia, Barangay Kahayagan East, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur which was placed at the top of the case of beer wrap with electrical tape and placed inside the cellophane and sack. The fragmentation grenade is now under the custody of Aurora MPS and to be turn-over to EODT- Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

INCIDENT REPORT - March 22, 2018

Rape Suspect Arrested   

MOLAVE - A Joint PNP personnel of Molave MPS and Regional Special Operation Group condued a manhunt operation against wanted person at Purok Saging-Saging, Barangay Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur At about 9:00 AM of March 21, 2018, that resulted in the arrest of Felix Tapinit Hilot, legal age, married and a resident of Purok Saging-Saging, Barangay Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon Judge Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur for Violation Of RA 9262 (Rape) docketed under criminal case No. 2018-10-3502 dated February 18, 2018. Bail bond of Twenty Four Thousand (Php 24,000.00) pesos recommended for his temporary liberty. The arrested accused is now temporarily detained at Molave MPS lock-up while waiting for final adjudication from court.

RA 9262 Violator Arrested

DUMINGAG - A joint PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station and Dumingag MPS conducted manhunt operation against wanted person at Purok Sampaguita, Barangay San Pablo, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 PM of March 21, 2018. This resulted in the arrest of Ronnie Apostol Boniao, 45 years old, male, married and presently residing at Purok Palmera, Barangay San Pablo, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur with postal address at Purok Waling-Waling, Barangay Napolan, Pagadian City. Subject person was arrested by the virtue of the warrant of arrest issued by Honorable Edilberto G. Absin, Acting Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City for Violation Of Section 5 of R.A. 9262 with criminal case number 9727-2K5 issued on December 11, 2017 with bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty is fixed at One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (Php 120,000.00). The accused is now temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS detention cell of while waiting for court disposition.

DIMATALING - PNP elements Dimataling MPS conducted service of warrant of arrest at Purok 5 Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur At about 9:30 AM of March 21, 2018 that resulted in the arrest of the following wanted persons identified as Danilo Taup Mag-Aso a.k.a “Tata”, 47 years old, married, fishing boat Captain by occupation and a resident of Purok 3 Barangay Saloagan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur, Jimlo Taup Mag-Aso a.k.a “Tony”, 45 years old, married, fishing boat Captain by occupation and a resident of Purok 3 Barangay Saloagan, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur, Rolando Caralos Saquin a.k.a “Oni” 30 years old, married, fishing    boat captain by occupation and a resident of Purok 8 Barangay Saloagan,    Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur, Junie Bayoy Caralos a.k.a “Yoni”, 41 years old, married, fishing boat Captain by occupation and a resident of Purok 8 Barangay Saloagan, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur and Fernando Relampagos Collango a.k.a “Dodong”, 38 years old, married, Fishing Boat Captain by occupation and a resident of Purok 5 Barangay    Saloagan, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur, virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Honorable Johnabel H. Tabunda, Presiding Judge, of 7th MCTC Dimataling, Tabina, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur docketed under CC NO. 18-2272-D for the crime of Unauthorized Commercial Fishing. The accused are now temporarily detained at Dimataling MPS while waiting for final adjudication from court.

INCIDENT REPORT - March 21, 2018

Shooting Incident

GUIPOS - On March 20, 2018 at about 9:35 PM, a shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Sikatuna, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur wherein victim identified as Mario Do-Ong Bustamante, 58 years old, married, elected Barangay Kagawad and resident of Purok 3, Barangay Sikatuna, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur was shot by Jerson Cabriana Reyes, 33 years old, married, farmer and resident of said place. Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim together with his companion/ brother of the suspect Francisco Reyes Y Cabriana were traversing on foot near the house of the suspect of said place, when waylaid and shot once by the suspect using improvised twelve (12) gauge shotgun. Victim sustained pellet wounds in the different parts of his body that resulted to his instantaneous death. Suspect immediately fled towards barangay proper sikatuna of said municipality. Meawhile, at about 11:50 PM of same date, the suspect voluntarily surrendered to Hon. Romeo Almerante, Barangay Chairman of Sikatuna, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur and likewise surrendered his firearm used during the incident and subsequently turn-over to the PNP personnel of Guipos MPS to include the firearm. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Guipos MPS for proper disposition.  The motive of the incident believed to be personal grudge. Shooting Incident

TABINA - On March 20, 2018 at about 10:10 AM, Hon. Herardo D Buhian, Barangay Councilor of Doña, Josefina, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur personally appeared to Tabina MPS and turn-over the living body of Alfredo Cañete Baguio, 62 years old, married, Barangay Tanod and resident of Purok Hindang, Barangay Doña Josefina, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur. Subject person is the suspect of the shooting incident transpired at Purok Bitoon, Barangay Doña Josefina, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur on March 20, 2018 at about 8:10 AM, wherein victim identified as Remehio Colong Oyo-A, 48 years old, married and resident of Purok 2, Bitoon, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur. Victim sustained gunshot wound on his right leg and was rushed to Tabina Rural Health Center for immediate medical treatment. Suspect voluntarily surrendered to the aforementioned Barangay Councilor. Investigation conducted disclosed that suspect was rendering his duty as Barangay Tanod of said place, when called by the wife of the victim identified as Rosalie Oyo-A asking for help at the above-mentioned place. The victim believed to be mentally ill and carrying a sharp scythe and allegedly attempted to kill her wife. The suspect warned/ pacified the victim to calm down, but he was attacked/assaulted by the victim which prompted him to shot the victim using caliber 38 revolver. The caliber 38 revolver with two (2) live ammunitions and one (1) empty shell was found inside the cylinder and turn-over to the PNP personnel of Tabina MPS. The suspect is now temporarily detained at Tabina MPS for proper disposition. Investigator is PO2 Juncres Ligutom CP number 09466572886.

Shooting Incident

TABINA - On March 20, 2018 at about 9:10 AM, Shooting Incident transpired at Purok Bitoon, Barangay Doña Josefina, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim Remejio Oyoa was shot by Alfredo Baguio, legal age and Barangay Tanod of said place. Victim sustained gunshot wound on his right leg and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for immediate medical treatment. Suspect surrendered to the PNP personnel of Tabina MPS.

PAGADIAN CITY - On March 20, 2018 at about 8:30 PM, PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS received a phone call from Jamellarin Hospital of this city informing that a victim of shooting incident was brought to said hospital and the incident was transpired at Sitio Nazareth, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City. Upon receipt of the report, PNP personnel of station responded to the reported place. The victim identified as Ellen Dorig Gapul, 48 years old, male, married, driver of Getigan Septic Tank Services and resident of Purok 3, Sitio Nazareth, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City. Investigation conducted disclosed that around 8:00 PM of same date, the victim arrived at his residence of the above-mentioned place coming from his work unidentified male suspect armed with caliber 45 pistol suddenly approached the victim and shot him in closed range without any apparent reason. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his head and was brought by his neighbor to Jamellarin Hospital for immediate medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival around 8:47 PM of same date by the attending physician. The suspects immediately fled towards Nazareth Elementary School of said place onboard single MC Honda XRM driven by his companion/suspect. PNP personnel of Provincial Crime Laboratory Office arrived and processed the scene and was able to recover two (2) pieces fired cartridge case of caliber 45 pistol. PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect.

Rape Suspect Arrested

MOLAVE - On March 20, 2018 at about 10:45 AM, Joint PNP personnel of Mahayag MPS together with personnel of CIDG- Misamis Occidental and Tangub CPS conducted police operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Purok 3, Brgy. Isidro D. Tan, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental. The operation resulted to the arrest of Romero Banaag Bagood, a.k.a. Lolong, 64 years old, married, farmer and resident of abovementioned place. The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Rape, issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur docketed under CC No. 2018-10-3498 with no bail bond recommended dated February 20, 2018 and Alias Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Camilo E. Tamin, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur docketed under CC No. 2000-10-1075 with no bail bond recommended dated October 13, 2000. Subject person is now temporarily detained at Mahayag MPS awaiting court disposition.

Service of Arrest Warrant

MIDSALIP - PNP personnel of Midsalip MPS conducted police operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Purok 3, Barangay Lumponid, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur, At about 12:30 AM of March 18, 2018 that resulted in the arrest of Teofilo M Fernandez, 53 years old, married, Barangay Kagawad and resident of Purok 3, Barangay Lumponid, Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur, by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of ATTEMPTED MURDER, docketed under criminal case number 18-10, 1497 dated 2 March 2018, issued by Hon. Analyn F. Ramas Costanilla, Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with bail bond recommended of One hundred twenty thousand (Php 120,000.00) pesos. Subject arrested person is now temporarily detained at Midsalip Municipal Detention center awaiting court disposition.

Murder Suspect Arrested

DINAS - On March 18, 2018 at about 12:30 PM, a joint elements of Dinas MPS together with Provincial Force Mobile Company and Regional Special Operation Group - Task Force Tugis conducted joint police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at Sitio Quary, Purok Santan, Barangay Binuatan, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur. the operation resulted to the arrest of Allan Asan Abdul, 34 years old, married, jobless, and a resident of said place.  Said person has pending Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder under Criminal Case No. 16-147 issued by Hon. Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge, RTC9, Branch 29, Pagadian City issued on June 17, 2017. Accused is now temporarily detained at Dinas MPS waiting for final adjudication from the court.

Drug Suspect Arrested

MARGOSATUBIG - On March 18, 2018 at about 10:30 AM, PNP personnel from Zamboanga Del Sur PPO-Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with personnel from Provincial Mobile Force Company and Margosatubig MPS conducted a joint anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Luguimit, Poblacion Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur which resulted to the arrest of Ho Jaypee Palisbo Nasser (Not listed on DI watch list), 24 years old, and a resident of the same place. Jobless Arrested in Drug Sting Operation

PAGADIAN CITY - On March 18, 2018 at about 2:30 PM, Intelligence Operatives of Pagadian City Police Station together with the personnel from Zamboanga Del Sur PPO-Drugs Enforcement Unit conducted a drug buy-bust operation at Purok Sili-3, Barangay Danlugan, Pagadian City which resulted to the arrest of Eric Jumawan Maata a.k.a. “eric” (not listed on DI Watch list), 33 years old, male, single, jobless, a resident of Purok Sili-3, Barangay Danlugan, Pagadian City.   Recovered from the possession control of the suspect are the following: three (3) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be “Shabu” and one piece Five Hundred peso (P500.00) bill bearing serial numbers R543138 marked money.  Arrested person and items confiscated were now under the custody of PCPS for proper disposition. INCIDENT REPORT - March 14, 2018

Shooting Incident  

RAMON MAGSAYSAY - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Sitio Alang-alang Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:50 PM of March 13, 2017 particular on a hilly curved road of the National Highway of Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as Danilo Deceirdo Tugahan aka “Nonoy” 45 years old, married, a Litson Vendor and resident of Barangay Gapasan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. Further investigation revealed that the victim was driving his Honda Wave motorcycle together with his son James Ariel Tugahan on their way going home and upon reaching the hilly curved road of the above mentioned place, unidentified Motor Cycle Riding Criminals chased them behind and about to overtake, the backrider who is the gun man shoot the victim three (3) times that resulted to his untimely death. That after the incident the unidentified suspect’s speed away heading towards Barangay Eastern Bobongan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. Recovered from the scene of the crime were Three (3) Fired Cartridge’s case and One (1) Slug. The victim’s body now lies at Paradise Funeral Home, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. Personnel of Ramon Magsaysay MPS is still conducting deeper investigation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspect/s. Cadaver Found

PAGADIAN CITY - One male cadaver with mutilated head was found at Purok Ipil-Ipil, Barangay Ditoray Pagadian City at about 7:50 AM of March 13, 2018, which was later identified as Alberto Tamola Empal aka “Dido”, 29 years old, male, single, farmer and a resident of Purok Ipil-Ipil, Barangay Ditoray, Pagadian City. Investigation disclosed that at about 7:00 PM of March 12, 2018, victim Alberto Empal was last seen drinking with his co-farmer/neighbors at Purok Tangke, Barangay Ditoray, Pagadian City and according to Lorito Empal, brother of the victim, the victim failed to return home and at about 6:00 AM of March 13, 2018, the body of the victim was discovered dead with several hacked wounds and the head was lost beyond recovery. Upon the conduct of follow-up investigation, Investigator on case discovered that in year 2014, at Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur, victim Alberto Empal has been charged for the two separate crimes of Rape and Arson and was acquitted and released from prison in 2017 due to non-appearance of his complainant. Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Cadaver of the victim now lies at his residence at Purok Ipil-Ipil, Barangay Ditoray, Pagadian City. Campaign against Illegal Fishing

VINCENZO SAGUN - A Joint seaborne patrol conducted by Vincenzo Sagun and CAFGU members of Sitio Liangan, Barangay Kabatan detachment, after having received a report that illegal fishing prevalent at the sea waters of Barangay Ambulon, Vincenzo Sagun Zamboanga Del Sur. That at about 3:00 AM of March 13, 2018 the team spotted one fishing boat marked FB Raiham engaged in illegal fishing, below 15 kilometers from the shorelines of Vincenzo Sagun waters wherein a violation of Municipal Ordinance of Art. VII of Sec. 1-A. The Team recovered 1.5 boxes assorted fish estimated 3,000 pesos market value and the fishing boat was later identified owned by Nasser Tucan Datu Mulocof 37 years old and a resident of Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay. The fishing boat was brought to Liangan port, V Sagun and the boat captain identified Ramil Napil with crew member were brought to this V Sagun MPS for proper disposition while the local Municipal Treasury Office imposing penalty of the said violation.

Man Held in Checkpoint for Carrying Unlicensed FA   

TUKURAN - PNP personnel of 903rd Maneuver Company of 9th Regional Mobile Force Battalion based at Barangay Militar, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur while conducting checkpoint at above mention place At about 9:40 PM of March 12, 2018, were able to arrest one Daniel Tano Yaon, 29 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Tag-ulo, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur for illegal possession of firearm. Confiscated from his possession and control were One (1) unit of caliber 357 revolver with deface serial number and loaded with four (4) live ammunition in the chamber. Suspect has failed to show a license to own and possess firearm and permit to carry outside residence when asked by arresting PNP personnel. Arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at Tukuran MPS while an inquest case for violation of Republic Act 10591 is being prepared against him.

Man Held for Carrying Unlicensed FA

TUKURAN - On March 12, 2018 at about 9:40 PM, PNP personnel of 903rd Mobile Company-Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 while conducting checkpoint at Barangay Militar, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur were able to arrest Daniel Tano Yaon, 29 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Tag-ulo, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur for illegal possession of firearm. Confiscated from the possession and control of suspect were one (1) unit of caliber 357 revolver with deface serial number loaded with four (4) live ammunition in the chamber. Subject person failed to present legal documents of said firearm. Arrested person and items confiscated were immediately turned - over to the personnel of Tukuran MPS for proper disposition.

Suicide Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Suicide incident transpired at Purok Malipayon, Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City At about 1:05 AM of March 11, 2018wherein victim identified as Imee Loraine Kapa Casil, 38 years old, female, single and resident of Purok Malipayon, Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City. Investigation conducted revealed that the victim was already dead hanging with a rope around her neck at the window grill. Testimony from her live-in partner identified as Ricardo Jimenez Tolentino, that on or about 12:30 AM of March 11, 2018, he noticed that someone was on their window. He stood up and opened the light and he discovers that it was his live-in partner hanging on the window grill. Said live-in partner immediately opened the door of their room and went to their neighbors to ask for help. The relative brought the victim at Fatima Funeral Homes, Lumbia District, Pagadian City. Investigator is PO2 Mizrach Sumampong Lapid with CP # 09094523547.

Campaign against Illegal Fishing   

MARGOSATUBIG - PNP personnel of Margosatubig MPS together with 5th IB, Bravo COY, Philippine Army conducted joint seaborne patrol operation along the sea waters of Dumanquillas Bay near the coastline of Sitio Marisa, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur At about 3:00 AM of March 11, 2018, which resulted in the resulted in the interception of one (1) fishing boat named as “Velma” or locally known as “WAK-WAK”, registered under the name of Jemar B Abubakar, 26 years old, male, married fisherman and resident of Purok Waterlily, Poblacion Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur.  The Boat Captain of said boat was arrested and identified as Alvarez Lakibul, 28 years old, male, married, fisherman and resident of Taguisian, Mabuhay, Zamboanga Sibugay. The fishing boat was caught in the act of illegally fishing in front of Rodolfo Villanueva Saavedra (RVS) resort situated at Sitio Dao, Poblacion Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated items from the fishing boat was one (1) box of 30 kilos of Assorted fish with estimated value of one thousand five hundred Pesos (Php 1,500.00), while the arrested suspect was brought to Margosatubig MPS for violation of Municipal Ordinance No. 28-0 and for proper disposition.

INCIDENT REPORT - March 11, 2018

Fire Incident

LAPUYAN - On March 10, 2018 at about 02:40 AM, a fire incident transpired at Poblacion, Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur. Immediately, PNP elements of Lapuyan MPS responded the incident. Upon arrival thereat, local procured Fire Truck of LGU Lapuyan conducted firefighting operation together with the organic personnel assigned in Lapuyan Fire Station and about 05:00AM 10 March 2018 fire was control. Initial investigation conducted and gathered information that the fire had started in the establishment of a certain Merlita Lumapas, owner of Lumapas Bakeshop and Refreshment and rapidly spread out to the adjacent establishment in the commercial area of Poblacion Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur. Estimated fire damage more or less Seven Hundred Thousand (₱700, 000.00), victim Rosalinda Daliap sustained minor burns.

Arrest of Rape Suspect

TUKURAN - On March 10, 2018 at about 2:00 PM, the police operatives of Tukuran MPS conducted follow up operation on the alleged rape incident at Purok Kamansilis, Barangay Baclay, Tukuran. This led to the arrest of suspect identified as Recson Balili Buton, 18 years old, grade 10 students and a resident of Purok Kamansilis, Brgy Baclay, Tukuran. Accordingly, he raped a victim (special child) an 11 years old female minor (special child) residing at Purok Baclado, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspect was arrested the said suspect for the crime of rape by virtue of warrantless arrest at about 2:00 PM of Mach 10, 2018. Victim was brought to Provincial Hospital for medical examination. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Tukuran MPS for proper disposition.

Fire Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - On March 10, 2018 at about 12:15 PM, Fire Incident transpired at Purok Sweet love Brgy. Dumagoc Pagadian City wherein Seven (7) houses made of light materials are totally destroyed by fire, estimated pecuniary damage amounting to more or less Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 250, 000.00) at about 12:53 pm of same date the fire was declared fire out. No reported casualty and or injured on the said incident. Bureau of fire is still conducting investigation on the cause of incident.

Murder Suspect Captured

MOLAVE - On March 10, 2018 at about 12:00 PM, Regional Special Operation Group 9, Regional Intelligence Unit 9 and 902^nd Mobile Company of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 together with the Molave MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok Gwapa, Bliss, Barangay Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted in the arrest of Alwin/Alvin Retuerto alias “jimmy”, 52 years old, married and resident of Purok Gwapa, Bliss, Barangay Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. Subject person has standing Alias Warrant of arrest for the crime of Attempted Murder Docketed under CC NO. 92-10-239(n) to 92-10-250 issued by Hon. Loreto C. Quinto, Presiding Judge dated February 16, 2006 with no bail bond recommended. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Molave MPS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Tinangkong, Barangay Balintawak, Pagadian City at about 7:00 AM of March 9, 2018. initial investigation conducted disclosed that, victim identified as Wilson Rosales Camillo, 39 years old, male, married, Security Guard Of Norbert Guillar Memorial National High School And Small Town Lottery (STL) agent and a resident of purok Nazareth 2, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City was driving his single motorcycle Suzuki smash 115, color white with without plate number arrived in front of a house owned by Helen Castillo to give the STL number tips as his daily task every morning, when suddenly a single motorcycle XRM color red appear from behind with a back rider who is wearing a face mask and a black cap armed with unidentified hand gun shot the victim several times. The victim able to manage and run but the gun man followed him and continues firing until the victim fell down the ground with more or less 100 meters from his single motorcycle. As a result, victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body which caused his instantaneous death. Personnel of     Pagadian City Police Station requested the SOCO team to process the crime scene. Recovered thereat, were eleven (11) pieces of empty shell of caliber .45. Coordination with the victim’s families is still undergoing to determine the motive of the incident and identification and apprehension of the suspects.

Arrest of Wanted Person

MAHAYAG - On or about 10:10 AM of March 9, 2018, elements of Mahayag MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok 4, Bag-ong Balamban, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur which resulted in the arrest of Christopher Villanueva Margaha, 43 years old, married, former student at ZSAC Main Campus, Barangay Dapiwak, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur, vendor (rice cake) and a resident of Barangay Bag-ong Balamban, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur, by virtue of warrant of arrest for Violation of R.A. 9165, Article Sec. 11, docketed under Criminal Case No. RTC-8550, issued and signed by Hon. Roy P. Murallon. Acting Presiding Judge, dated February 21, 2018, Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 35, Ozamiz City and further intelligence report gathered by personnel of Mahayag MPS, that said wanted person is a close in escort/ bodyguard of prominent elected government official identified as Honorable Ardot Parojinog Board Member of Ozamiz City. Arrested wanted person is now temporary detained at Mahayag MPS for proper disposition.

Violation of RA 9165   

PAGADIAN CITY - Intelligence Operatives of Pagadian CPS headed by PSI HAROLD V BRUNO together with the personnel from the Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted a joint drug buy-bust operation at Purok Liberty, Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City At about 1:30 AM of March 10, 2018which resulted in the successful arrest of Michael Longinos Tan, aka “OKO”, Filipino, 29 years old, male, with live-in partner, time keeper of construction site and a resident of said place. Recovered from his possession and control were Two (2) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as “shabu” and four (4) pieces One hundred peso Bill marked money bearing serial numbers BQ023794; NP096932; AU974826 & BT843685. Arrested person is now temporary detained at the detention cell of Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

INCIDENT REPORT - March 8, 2018

Shooting Incident

DIMATALING - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 3 Brgy. Baha, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur at about 4:45 PM of March 7, 2018, wherein victim identified as Edgar Cande Dionson, 47 years old, married, farmer and a resident of said place while suspect identified as Junie Masayon Gumalang, 54 years old, married, farmer and a resident also of said place. Investigation conducted by Dimataling MPS disclosed that victim and suspect are relatives and neighbors and they were having a heated argument which led to shooting incident by the use of an alleged homemade 12 Gauge Rifle. Victim was rushed to the nearest hospital wherein victim sustained one gunshot wound in the right shoulder that cuases his instantaneous death as declared by the attending physician Dr. Apryl Suzzette Gladys Rose Exile, Municipal Health Officer. The weapon use to shot the victim was not recovered, while one (1) hunting knife with scabbard was recovered from the body of the victim. The suspect fled towards barangay Binuay Dimataling ZDS after the commission of the crime. Motive of the incident believed to be personal grudge.

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Upo 1, Barangay Balintawak, Pagadian City at about 1:25 pm of march 7, 2018 wherein victims were identified as Ronald Jasmin Gordon, 22 years old, male, car mechanic and resident of Purok Nazareth, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City And Rembrant Magracia Bualat, 24 years old, male, car mechanic and resident of Purok Anonang, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City. Both victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of their bodies. Initial investigation conducted by Pagadian CPS disclosed that the victims were repairing a forward van with attached plate number gmm 921 at Reyes Car Shop along the road of Purok Upo 1, Barangay Balintawak, Pagadian City, when suddenly unidentified person appeared and shot the victims several times while the victim Rembrant Magracia Bualat was hit by a stray bullet. After the incident perpetrator ride a single motorcycle driven by another unidentified male person going to the direction of national highway. The SOCO team was able to recovered six (6) pieces of empty shells of caliber .45 pistol and one (1) piece of slug of caliber .45 pistol.

Jobless Held for Carrying Unlicensed Handgun

TAMBULIG - On March 06, 2018 at about 6:30PM, the person of Jerry Enriquez, 39 years old, married and a resident of Brgy Upper Lodiong, Tambulig, came to Tambulig MPS and asked for police assistance for accordingly, a certain Krisnan Jay BetioTalip aka “Warshock” 33 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Purok 1, Brgy Lower Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur allegedly displaying unruly behavior armed with a handgun at the apartment rented he situated at the above-mentioned place.  Immediately PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS together with the reporter proceeded to the aforementioned place to verify the veracity of the report. Upon arrival thereat, the responding team personally saw the subject person armed with a handgun. Then and there, the responding team disarmed and arrests the suspect.  Recovered from the possession and control one Infinity.45 pistol bearing serial number771223 with one magazine attached loaded with four live ammunitions. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

TAMBULIG - PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS conducted police operation on Anti- Illegal gambling at Barangay Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 PM of March 05, 2018. This resulted in the arrest of Elbar Pinatacan Perolina 44 years old, married, suertres collector and resident of Purok 5, Barangay Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur. Confiscated from his possession and control were Nineteen (19) tally sheets, Two (2) pieces Bolantoy Tips and a Cash money amounting to (PHP 1, 170.00).  A case for violation of RA 9287 is being prepared for filing in court.

Service of Arrest Warrant

PAGADIAN CITY - PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted police operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) at F.S Pajares Avenue, Purok Esmeralda A, Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City at about 1:10 PM of March 5, 2018. This resulted to the arrest of Elvirio Dinglasa Dacal, 60 years old, male and resident of Purok Esmeralda A, Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation Of Section Of 5 (I) In Relation To Section 6 (F) of RA 9262 (Anti- Violence Against Women And Children Act) , docketed under criminal case number 13520-2k17 issued by Hon. Disarming and Robbery Incident

SAN MIGUEL - On March 1, 2018 at about 9:05 PM, an alleged disarming and robbery transpired on March 1, 2018 at about 9:45 PM at Purok 1A, 1B and 2, Barangay Ocapan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur allegedly perpetrated by communist terrorist" (CNT). Initial investigation conducted disclosed that said CNT members disarmed and carted two (2) units Cal 38 and one (1) homemade shotgun from Romeo Ligan, Barangay Tanod and a resident of Purok 1B; Anita Abansado, Barangay Health Worker and a resident of Purok 1A of same barangay, two (2) unit Cellphone; Ofelia Segarino, Barangay Record Keeper (BRK) and a resident of Purok 1A of same barangay one (1) unit Cellphone and from Henry Monicit, farmer and a resident of Purok 2 of same barangay, two (2) unit cellphone. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the incident. Said CNT withdrew towards Purok 5, Brgy Ocapan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. Drug Dealer Arrested for Violation of RA 9165

MARGOSATUBIG - On March 2, 2018 at about 2:00 PM, Joint PNP personnel of Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and personnel of Margosatubig MPS conducted police operation (Anti- Drug Bust Operation) at Purok Daisy 2, Sitio Samboang, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Pre-Operational Clearance No: PRO9-ZSPDEU-032018-1391. The operation resulted to the arrest of Rancham Cloyd Lopez Hinotan (Not Listed on DI Watch List), 22 years old, male, single, and resident of Igat Island, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur. Confiscated during the operation was one (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and one (1) piece (Php 500.00) bill with serial number BE970169 as marked money. Subject person is now temporarily detained at Margosatubig MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.

2 Arrested for Murder

LABANGAN - On March 2, 2018 at about 6:00 PM, PNP personnel of Labangan MPS conducted police operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Purok Malipayon, Barangay Lantian, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. The operation resulted to the arrest of Jomel Camba Ediang, 32 years old, male, single, farmer and resident of Purok Malipayon Barangay Lantian, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur and Marjun Villanueva Luciana, 24 years old, male, single, farmer and resident of Purok Malipayon, Barangay Lantian, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. The accused were arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Attempted Murder, docketed under criminal case number 13770-2k18, issued by Hon. Romeo T. Descallar, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 19, 9th Judicial Region, Pagadian City dated 27 February 2018 with bail bond recommended of (PHP 120,000.00). Subject persons were now temporarily detained at Labangan MPS awaiting court disposition.

RA 9262 Violator Held

MAHAYAG - On March 2, 2018 at about 8:00 PM, PNP personnel of Mahayag MPS conducted police operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Purok 2, Barangay DCM, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. The operation resulted to the arrest of Roberto Andujar Monsalud, 35 years old, married, farmer and resident of the above-mentioned place. The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation of RA 9262, docketed under criminal case number 2017-10-3434, issued by Hon. Jaime B. Shooting Incident

MARGOSATUBIG - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Dama de Noche, Brgy. Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur At about 7:40 AM of March 1, 2018. The victim was identified as Mojib Gallardo Taiting, 23 years old, single, fisherman and a resident of Purok Sunflower, Sitio Luguimit, Brgy. Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted by Margosatubig PNP disclosed that Mojib Taiting was inside Silao Billiard Hall located at Purok Dama de Noche, Sitio Luguimit, Brgy. Poblacion, Margosatubig, watching billiard game inside of said establishment when suddenly one (1) unidentified person wearing mask entered the billiard hall and  without any provocation shot the victim with the used of caliber 45 pistol based on two (2) empty shell recovered at the crime scene. Victim sustained several gunshots wound on different parts of his body that caused his untimely death. After the incident suspects fled towards Purok Cadena de Amor, Sitio Marisa, Brgy. Poblacion, Margosatubig. Further investigation revealed that the victim has pending Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Attempted Rape in relation to R. A 7610 with Criminal Case number 16-201, RTC Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur.  Investigator is PO2 Earl Deen F. Dingal with cellphone number 09063989676.

2 Held during Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation

MAHAYAG - Operatives of CIDG Zamboanga del Sur together with personnel from Provincial Intelligence Branch of Zambonaga Del Sur PPO and Mahayag MPS conducted police operation against illegal number game locally known as Suertres at Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:45PM of March 1, 2018. This resulted in the apprehension of Nel Jade Antrina Lewagon, 39 years old, Single, Resident of San Vicente,Mahayag, Zambonaga Del Sur and Jovanie Calbonero Briones, 27 years old, married, a resident of Brgy.Lower Salug Daku, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. Recovered from the possession of Neil Lewagan were (25) tally sheet; b.(6)remittance form;and c.bet money php2,677 with diff denomination and recovered from Jovanie Briones were Twenty One (21) tally sheet and Three (3) remittance form. The arrested person together with confiscated pieces of evidence was immediately brought to CIDG-Zamboanga Del Sur office for documentation and proper disposition.

Murder Suspect Cuffed

DUMINGAG - a joint operation on service of warrant against wanted person was conducted by personnel of Dumingag MPS together with Intel operatives 5th Mechanized Battalion Mech., Division, Pa; 51st Mechanized Company,  Zamboanga Del Sur, Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Intelligence Unit 10 and Lala MPS  at Purok 7, Raw-An Lala, Lanao Del Norte at about 11:30 AM of March 1, 2018. This resulted in the arrest of Roger Lucas Sagarino, 50 years old, married and a resident of Poblacion, Kapatagan, Lanao Del Norte. Said person has a pending warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under cc # 2018-10-3487 dated January 25, 2018, duly issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch-23, 9th Judicial Region, Molave, Zamboanga De Sur with no bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty. Said arrested wanted person was immediately brought to Dumingag MPS and is now temporarily detained at the said station lock-up cell awaiting proper court disposition.

Shooting Incident

MOLAVE - On February 27, 2018 at about 5:30 AM, a shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Sitio Jebigon, Ariosa, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. Victim was identified as Marjohn Campomanes Omongos, 27 years old, married, farmer and resident of Purok 3, Sitio Jebigon, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur. He sustained gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body which resulted to his instantaneous death. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 5:30 AM of same date the victim got out from his house purposely to feed his pigs, suspect identified as Jhony Boy Lambojon Embalsado, 20 years old, single, jobless and resident of Sto. Rosario, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur suddenly appeared and pointed a gun towards the victim who managed to jumped off through the window and ran away. The other two (2) suspects/conspirators who were outside the house identified by the witnesses as Fidelino Lambojon Embalsado a.k.a. boloy, 26 years old, single, farmer and resident of Purok Piña, Simata, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur, Ruel Banawa, 30 years old, married and resident of Balucot, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur and Johny-Boy Lambojon Embalsado also chased the victim. In a distance at about one hundred fifty (150) meters away, the victim had been caught and was shot several times by the suspects. Evidence recovered from the crime scene were two (2) empty shells of Caliber 9mm pistol. Responding PNP personnel of Molave MPS now conducted hot pursuit operation which resulted to the arrest of one of the suspects Fidelino Lambojon Embalsado at Barangay Simata, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. Violation of RA 9165

PAGADIAN CITY - On February 28, 2018 at about 08:00PM, Elements of Provincial Drugs Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO conducted anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation at Jamisola Extension, Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City which resulted to the arrest of Abu Magaw Muhammad, 24 years old, male, married, driver and a resident of Purok African Daisy, Brgy. Santiago, Pagadian City. Confiscated during the operation were one (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (buy-bust), two (2) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (possession)  and one (1) pc. P500 bill with SN D043426 used as marked money. Arrested person is presently detained at PDEA lock-up cell for filing of appropriate charges in court.
