Shooting Incident
DIMATALING
- Shooting incident transpired at Purok 3 Brgy. Baha, Dimataling, Zamboanga del
Sur at about 4:45 PM of March 7, 2018, wherein victim identified as Edgar Cande
Dionson, 47 years old, married, farmer and a resident of said place while
suspect identified as Junie Masayon Gumalang, 54 years old, married, farmer and
a resident also of said place. Investigation conducted by Dimataling MPS
disclosed that victim and suspect are relatives and neighbors and they were having
a heated argument which led to shooting incident by the use of an alleged
homemade 12 Gauge Rifle. Victim was rushed to the nearest hospital wherein
victim sustained one gunshot wound in the right shoulder that cuases his
instantaneous death as declared by the attending physician Dr. Apryl Suzzette
Gladys Rose Exile, Municipal Health Officer. The weapon use to shot the victim
was not recovered, while one (1) hunting knife with scabbard was recovered from
the body of the victim. The suspect fled towards barangay Binuay Dimataling ZDS
after the commission of the crime. Motive of the incident believed to be
personal grudge.

PAGADIAN
CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Upo 1, Barangay Balintawak,
Pagadian City at about 1:25 pm of march 7, 2018 wherein victims were identified
as Ronald Jasmin Gordon, 22 years old, male, car mechanic and resident of Purok
Nazareth, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City And Rembrant Magracia Bualat, 24
years old, male, car mechanic and resident of Purok Anonang, Barangay
Buenavista, Pagadian City. Both victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds on
different parts of their bodies. Initial investigation conducted by Pagadian
CPS disclosed that the victims were repairing a forward van with attached plate
number gmm 921 at Reyes Car Shop along the road of Purok Upo 1, Barangay
Balintawak, Pagadian City, when suddenly unidentified person appeared and shot
the victims several times while the victim Rembrant Magracia Bualat was hit by
a stray bullet. After the incident perpetrator ride a single motorcycle driven
by another unidentified male person going to the direction of national highway.
The SOCO team was able to recovered six (6) pieces of empty shells of caliber
.45 pistol and one (1) piece of slug of caliber .45 pistol.
