Rape Suspect Arrested in Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur

TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 30, 2018) - Joint PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS, Zamboanga del Sur and Lala MPS, Lala, Lanao del Norte arrested rape suspect during the conduct of police operation on Most Wanted Person Top Number 8 (Lala MPS) at Barangay New Village,Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur at about 2:30pm October 29, 2018.

The operating team identified the arrested as Tandos Logan y Hase, 67 years old, married, farmer, a resident of P-6, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Lower, Lala, Lanao del Norte.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for crime of Rape, with criminal case number 21-3866 issued by Hon. Alberto P Quinto, Presiding Judge, RTC of 12th Judicial Region, Branch 21, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte issued on November 29, 2017 with no bail bond recommended.

The arrested subject person is now under custody of Tambulig MPS for proper disposition. 

Notorious Carnapper Arrested

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Oct. 29, 2018) – The Combined elements from 902nd MC, RMFB9, Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch, Molave MPS, Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company (under the control and Regional Intelligence Division 9 successfully arrested the Notorious Car napper  conducted hot pursuit operation against

JemarOclaritMacareal, resident of Purok Dos, Barangay Dos, Tangub City, who had been apprehended at Barangay Tuloan, Molave Municipality, around 5:00 p.m. of October 28, 2018 - in possession of an XRM (blue-white color combination with temporary plate no. 090101) owned by a certain Mr. Felipe P. Rodero (resident of Barangay Sudlon, Molave Municipality, this province).

The arrestee and his identified crime associates from Pagadian City and Ozamis City are believed to have been responsible in a series of carnapping incidents in the AOR, including that of an incident last October 22, 2018 where another black/white colored XRM was stolen at Mabini Street, Brgy. Maloloy-on, Molave Municipality, when the arrestee was later identified through CCTVs which were placed at the vicinity. The suspect has several pending cases for carnapping dating back in 2014 and 2016;

Further, be informed that initial exploitation of the suspect's cellular phone is suggesting possible links of the suspect to BIFF and other Lanao-based crime gangs mostly engaged in carnapping, illegal drugs and other criminal activities.

Arrestee is now undergoing tactical interrogation and will be temporarily detained at Molave MPS. 

Road Crash Accident in Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur

AURORA, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 27, 2018) - Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident transpired at Purok 4, Brgy. Balintawak, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur at about 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon of October 26, 2018, wherein one Rural Transit Bus, bearing plate number JVH 377 with bus number 9044 driven by Andres Bacaling y Lapinig, 42 years old, married, a resident of Purok Cacao, Tuburan District, Pagadian City.

The Bus was onboard with Twenty-Three (23) passengers, travelling from Ozamis City bound to Pagadian City. However, upon reaching along National Highway at Purok 4, Brgy. Balintawak, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur particularly at the curve lane of the said place, the driver (Andres Bacaling) losses his control and overshoot at the right side edge curve portion of the road then hit the concrete road railing and fell into the steep ravine.

As a result thereof, One passenger identified as Rogelio Alagenio y Alberina Sr., male, 67 years old, married, farmer by occupation and a resident of PurokPalayan, Brgy. Canunan, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur.

He was died on the spot, while eighteen passengers were brought to Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Hospital and Two passengers were brought to Mendiro Hospital all of Pagadian City, Two passengers were brought to Aurora Community Emergency (ACE) Hospital located at Brgy. Cabilinan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur while the conductor was brought to Blancia Hospital located at MolaveZambaonga del Sur for medication.

The driver (Andres Bacaling) who sustained head injury was also brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Hospital for medication and subsequently was brought to Aurora Municipal Police Station for proper case disposition. 

The Aurora MPS was able to identify the eighteen (18) passengers were brought to Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Medical Center Dao Pagadian City namely:

1.     Evangeline Larede y Muñez, female, 55 years old, married, and a resident of PurokRadsak, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, ZDS

2.     Justin Larede y Muñez, male, 11 years old, and a resident of PurokRadsak, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, ZDS,

3.     Kim Larede y Muñez, female, 6 years old, and a resident of PurokRadsak, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, ZDS,

4.     Princes Larede y Munez, female, 13 years old, and a resident of PurokRadsak, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, ZDS,

5.     JunmarkGinulos y Opsar, male, 28 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy. Tingabolong, Dimataling, ZDS,

6.     Marlon Cariaga y Bangcolan, male, 40 years old, married, driver by occupation, and a resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Maloc, Tangub City.

7.     Diovin Vergara y Aguilar, male, 23 years old, single, AFP member, and a residentPurok I, Brgy. Lala Proper, Lala, Lanao del Norte,

8.     EfijeniaBidal y Akiatan, female, 55 years old, house wife, and a resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Sagacad, Dinas, ZDS,

9.     Catherine Lagare y Abagies, female, 26 years old, single, teacher by occupation, and a resident of Purok Angela, Brgy. San Jose, Aurora, ZDS,

10.    Esterlita Padilla u Duhilag, female, 58 years old, married, and a resident of Purok Cacao, Tuburan District, Pagadian City,

11.    JezraelLantaya y Turbilla, male, 22 years old, single, student, and a resident of Purok Cacao, Tuburan District, Pagadian City,

12.    Flora Garcenes y Monsalud, female, 42 years old, widow, LGU employee, and a resident of PurokMadasigon, Brgy. Sto Niño, Tukuran, ZDS,

13.    SuzzettMindoza y Pirocho, female, 45 years old, single, LGU employee, and a resident of Purok 5, Poblacion, Mahayag, ZDS,

14.    Niño Sebastian Mindoza y Pirocho, male, 12 years old, and a resident of Purok 5, Poblacion, Mahayag, ZDS,

15.    Anna Tura y Larajo, female, 69 years old, married, and resident Purok Cacao, Tuburan, Pagadian City,

16.    CeceilLauron y Laso, female, 42 years old, married, teacher by occupation, and a resident Purok Uno A, Brgy. Lapirian, Tukuran, ZDS,

17.    BejonBatoy y Bordalba, male, 26 years old, single, teacher by occupation, and a resident Purok 4 B, Brgy. Lapirian, Tukuran, ZDS,

18.    SolidadPatalinghug y Sol, female, 48 years old, married, and a resident of Brgy. Kawit, Pagadian City.

The two passengers were brought and confined at Mendiro Hospital Pagadian City namely;

1.     Helen Diaz y Patis, female, 50 years old, married, businesswoman, and a resident of PurokSto Niño, Brgy. Libertad, Aurora, ZDS,

2.     ArlynMontilla y Ladanan, female, 40 years old, married, teacher by occupation, and a resident of PurokMadasigon, Brgy.Tuburan, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay.

The two passengers were brought and confined at Aurora Community Emmergency (ACE) Hospital, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur namely;

1.     Angel May Velasco y Canda, female, 13 years old, and a resident of PurokPagang, Brgy. Kawit, Pagadian City,

2.     EdmalynDollente y Canda female, 34 years old, single, and a resident of PurokPagang, Brgy. Kawit, Pagadian City;

While the conductor of the said bus identified as one Rey Lerasan y Carcallas, male, 38 years old, married, and a resident of Rizal Street Purok San Pedro, Brgy. Poblacion, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur was brought and confined at BlanciaHospiatl, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

The driver (Andres Bacaling) who sustained head injury was also brought to Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Medical Center Dao Pagadian City for medication and subsequently brought to Aurora MPS for proper case disposition.

Further, the Rural Transit Bus was totally wrecked and left at the place of incident.

Stabbing Incident

PITOGO, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 29, 2018) - Stabbing incident occurred at Purok Riverside, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:00am of October 28, 2018.

Upon receipt of the report, PNP personnel of Pitigo MPS immediately proceeded to the area and verify the veracity of the report. Upon arrival thereat, the responding PNP personnel saw the victim laying on the ground with a stabbed wound on the chest which immediately brought to Municipal Health Unit for immediate medical treatment.

The victim was identified as Jerry Guibone Polo, 44 years old, male, married, fisherman and resident of PurokSangi, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur.

The victim sustained one stabbed wound on his left chest. But because of the condition of the victim, on or about 2:15am of the same date, Erña B. Patayon – PHN VI, Duty Nurse at the said Municipal Rural Health Office declared the victim dead.

The suspect was arrested and identified as RizalinaPagjacinaOnipa, 41 years old, female, married and resident of Purok Riverside, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The suspect was brought at Pitogo Municipal Police Station for proper disposition together with the recovered evidence one scissor used by the suspect to stab the victim.

Initial Investigation disclosed that at about 10:00 PM of October 27, 2018, the victim was having drinking spree outside the store of the suspect. At around 2:00am of October 28, 2018.

The suspect went to the comfort room which is outside in her store and when she goes out she was shock when the suspect is at the door trying to block her way out from the comfort room which the suspect shouted and asked for helped and run inside to her store and get a scissor and went outside to confront the victim who was holding on his hand a broken bottle of beer and there and then a commotion happen between two of them which resulted the suspect (RizalinaOnipa) stabbed the victim (Jerry Polo).
