Couple victim in shooting
DINAS.
Zamboanga del Sur -
Husband was killed, wife wounded after they were shot by unidentified
perpetrator at Purok Mangga, Barangay Nangka, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about
4:30 AM of June 2, 2019.
The victims were identified as Jonathan
Malingtang Alangcas (Dead on the Spot), 31 years old, married, businessman, and his wife Jenevy Morales Alangcas
(Injured), 31 years old, married, both residents of Purok 1, Brgy. Catigilian,
San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur.
Investigation disclosed that the
victims were traversing from National Highway from Municipality of San Miguel
bound to Municipality of Pitogo on board their tricycle (Payong-Payong) a plate
number of 090110 purposely to buy a fish for their business.
However, upon reaching Purok Mangga,
Barangay Nangka, Dinas, they were waylaid by unidentified suspect/s and
deliberately shot four times hitting Jonathan Malingtang twice at his stomach
and twice at his chest causing of his untimely death while his wife (Jenevy)
was hit at her right arm and immediately brought to Chavez Clinic, Dinas, Zamboanga
del Sur for medical attention. The suspect then fled to unknown direction.
Jessie Yanson Y Dinapo (Injured), 28
years old, single, Jobless and resident of Purok Masanagon, Poblacion,
Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay.

7, Barangay Lacupayan Tigbao Zamboanga del Sur at about of 12:45 AM of June 2,
2019.

Y Dinapo sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his right shoulder of
undetermined caliber after his apparent companion shot him
He was brought to Zamboanga del Sur
Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for medical treatment.
Investigation conducted disclosed that
victim was riding a single motorcycle (Rouser Kawasaki 135), color red black
combination with plate number JA 45185 from municipality of Buug, Zamboanga
Sibugay going to the municipality Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur with a companion
identified as certain Joey Dragon who was also riding other single motorcycle
(XRM 125) color black with no plate number and upon reaching of Purok 7,
Barangay Lacupayan, Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur the suspect shot the victim.
The companion of the victim identified a
certain Joey Dragon inched his way closer to the victim and allegedly shot the
victim several times. As a result, the victim stumbled down along the road.
Victim also noticed also that there was
other vehicle pick up behind him allegedly serve as a backup who were also
shooting unto him.
Meanwhile, victim exerted effort to
evade the suspect by running towards the nearby house located at the
above-mentioned place and seek for assistance.
According to the victim, one of the suspects
alighted from a pick-up vehicle and took the driven single motorcycle of the
victim and fled immediately going to Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.
Police Brigadier General Froilan F
Quidilla, PRO9 Acting Director has ordered the Zamboanga City Police and
Zamboanga del Sur Police to conduct manhunt operation against those
perpetrators and deeper investigation to the unmask the identity of the
perpetrators and the motive of the incidents.
Murder Suspect Cuffed in Zambo Sur
DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur -
Police operatives of 902nd Maneuver Company of RMFB9, Regional Intelligence
Division 9 and Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Intel Branch in coordination with
Dinas Municipal Police Station conducted police operation (service of arrest
warrant) at Purok Agal-agal, Brgy. Lucoban, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur at about 2:10 AM, June
1, 2019.
The operation was resulted to the
arrest of Macmod Ismael Malaco, 50 years old, fisherman, and a resident of
Purok Agal-agal, Brgy. Lucoban, Dinas Zamboanga del Sur.
The accused was arrested by virtue of
Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Murder, docketed under Criminal Case No.
96-091, dated 10 March 1997, issued by Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 29, San
Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur with no bail bond recommended.
He is now temporarily detained at Dinas
Municipal Police Station detention cell while waiting for commitment order from
the court.
