REPORTED INCIDENT – January 1, 2017

Stabbing Incident

PITOGO - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Riverside, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 AM of December 31, 2016. The victim was identified Jerry Polo, 41 years old, married, fisherman and a resident of Purok Sangi, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was stab by suspect named Regan Aking, 23 years old, single, fisherman and a resident of same place. The victim sustained one (1) stabbed wound on the lower left portion of his body and was rushed to Margosatubig Hospital for immediate medical treatment while suspect fled towards unknown direction. Pitogo MPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive of the incident and arrest of the suspect for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Recovery of Cadaver

BAYOG - An unidentified male dead body was found floating at the irrigation located at Purok 1, Barangay Depore, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 AM of December 28, 2016. The victim was found floating lifeless and sustained stabbed wound on his body and believed was stabbed by an unidentified suspect. Evidence recovered from the possession of the victim was one (1) scabbard tucked on his waist. Investigation conducted disclosed that victim was only known for his name as Tata Medina and reportedly came from Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur and went to said place purposely to work as farmer. the victim was seen/discovered by the children swimming at the irrigation of said place and was reported to the Baranagay Chairman Of Depore, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur. further investigation conducted disclosed that based on the statement of some witnesses, two (2) days prior to the incident, the victim was seen drinking together with his companion/farmer identified as Judith Otom And Dodo Boron, both from Barangay Dipili, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP personnel of Bayog MPS still conducting thorough investigation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspect/s.

Shooting Incident

DIMATALING - Shooting incident transpired at about 8:00 PM of December 27, 2016 Purok 10, Barangay Binuay, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur wherein victim identified as identified as one Cristopher Bagundol Y Alia, 25 years old, married, male, house caretaker and a resident of the above mentioned place. Accordingly, the victim watching TV at his residence was shoot to death by unidentified suspect using caliber .45 based on four(4) pieces of empty shell and one(1) slug recovered at the crime scene.

Anti-illegal Drugs Operation

KUMALARANG - The Kumalarang MPS led by SPO2 Monerua A Dacula responded to Purok Waling-Waling, Barangay Poblacion,Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:15 PM of December 27, 2016 on the report of alleged suspect getting wild which resulted to the arrest of one Amer Palada Y Sabiran aka ‘’Fhad’’ 31 years old, married and a resident of the above mentioned place. Confiscated from his possession and control one control  were the following: one(1) piece small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be ‘’shabu’’; one (1) rolled aluminum foil and one(1) piece disposable lighter.

Shooting Incident

MARGOSATUBIG - Shooting incident transpired at about 10:00 AM of December 26, 2016 at fronting Silao’s Billiard Center, Purok Dama de Noche, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein the victim was identified as one Ariel Mariano Y Banasco aka “Bakok”, of legal age, married and a resident of Purok San Francisco, Poblacion Margosatubig, was shot by unidentified suspect with the used of unknown caliber of firearms. Victim sustained lone gunshot wound on his head and now confined at Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medical treatment. Suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.

Arrest of Wanted Person

DINAS - Combined elements of Dinas MPS and Dimataling MPS conducted hot pursuit operation and service of Warrant of Arrest at Purok Marang Barangay Sumpotan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 PM of December 26, 2016. This resulted to the arrest of two (2) personalities identified as Rey Lubguban Tuwawa, 33 years old, married, and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay  Baha, Dimataling, (primary suspect of the killing of Jenecris Godarido Bregondo, female, 23 year old that transpired OOA 2:35 PM of December 25, 2016 at Purok-2, Barangay Baha, Dimataling, ) and Alfredo Masayon, of legal age, Barangay Councilor of Purok Marang, Barangay Sumpotan, Dinas, who was also arrested at the above-mentioned place by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Qualified Theft (3 counts) docketed under CC Nos. 2003-1957, 2003-1958 and 2003-1959 with bail bond recommended of Php30, 000.00.

Shooting Incident

DIMATALING - Shooting incident transpired at Purok-2, Barangay Baha, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:35 PM of December 25, 2016. The victim was identified as one Jenecris Godarido Bregondo alias “Inday”, 22 years old, married, female, housekeeper and a resident of aforesaid place.  Accordingly the victim was sitting at the long bench inside the abandoned house together with her baby waiting the rain to stop when suddenly suspect identified as Rey Lubguban Tuwawa alias “Ing-ing, 33 years old, married, male, farmer and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Baha, Dimataling shot her once hitting at the right portion of her lower chest. She was immediately brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital, Margosatubig, and subsequently forwarded to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, Pagadian City for medical attention.

Robbery Incident

DUMALINAO - Robbery incident occurred at about 6:00 AM December 24, 2016 at the store of Marlon Montes Y Eleorando, 30 years old, married, businessman and a resident of Purok Sikatuna, Tickwas, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. Wherein he discovered that the pad lock of the door of his store was destroyed. The victim believed that his store was robbed by unidentified suspect/s and carted away cash money and cigarettes that estimated amount more or less twenty thousand pesos (P20, 000.00), pocket Wifi and cell phone.

Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO - Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired at Guilingan Street Highway in front of Bible Baptist Church at Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 AM of December 25, 2016. Wherein one Eusebio Abara Y Subla, 75 years old, married, and a retired sanitary inspector and a resident also of same place, while on travels using single motorcycle XRM 110 with plate no. 0907-3B15 owned by Debb John T Lomongo and approaching at Guilingan Street Highway in front of Bible Baptist Church, a single motorcycle Aura Nexus with plate no. KL 6530 driven by Teofilo Embudo Y Esparcia, 22 years old, un-employed, single, high school level and a resident of Camalig, Dumalinoa, accidentally collided which resulted to an injury at the left and toes and wound on his left hand. Victim referred by the Rural Health Unit of Dumalinao at Jamillarin Hospital, Pagadian City for further medical treatment.  

Hacking Incident

SAN PABLO - Hacking incident transpired at Purok Manga, Barangay Teniapan, San Pablo, Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 PM of December 25, 2016. The victim was identified as one Rey Burinaga, 31 years old, single, a resident in Purok Manga, Brgy Teniapan, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was hacked by his companion identified as one Sergio Palubag of legal age, married and a resident of same place by the used of bolo after having drinking spree.

Stabbing Incident

MAHAYAG - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok 1, Barangay Malubo, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:30 PM of December 25, 2016 wherein victim identified as one Joel Elorde y Albarico, alias “Roldan” 26 years old, married, farmer by occupation, a resident with postal address of Purok 1, Barangay Malubo, Mahayag, was deliberately stabbed by Rodrigo Gomalin y Villaganas, alias “Edgar”, 28 years old, with live-in partner, farmer by occupation and Barangay Tanod of aforementioned place and a resident of same place. The victim was hit on his chest that resulted to his death. Suspect arrested by the Barangay Tanod and turn-over to the responding PNP personnel of Mahayag MPS.

Stabbing Incident

AURORA - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Mag-uuma, Barangay Bayabas, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:30 PM of December 25, 2016. The victim was identified one Rosalio Caballero Y Duga-Duga, 37 years old, married, laborer by occupation, and a resident of the above mentioned place. He arrived to Aurora MPS bloody accompanied by his neighbor Claudio Siaw y Prokrato where he reported that he was stabbed by suspect identified as one Tony Luardo Y Quiño. Accordingly the victim had a conversation with his neighbor near the barangay hall of the aforesaid place when suspect who is under the influence of intoxicating liquor arrived and without any provocation stabbed the victim at the back using a hunting knife. Victim sustained stabbed wound on his back and incised wound on his left hand and immediately brought to Provincial Hospital, Kapatagan, Lanao Del Norte then referred to Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Hospital, Dao, Pagadian City for further medical treatment.

2 Drug Dealer Nabbed

MARGOSATUBIG - Two alleged drug dealer were arrested by Ant-illegal drugs operatives of Margosatubig MPS during the drug buy bust operation carried out at Purok Abi-Abihon, Sitio Lumahan, Barangay Tiguian, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:00 AM of December 24, 2016. Suspect was Kilven Dela Peña Remedios, 30 years old, single a resident of Purok Baluno, Barangay Kalian, Margosatubig, and Raymond Quirong Nongo, 28 years old, single, a resident of Barangay Molum, Lapuyan, All Of Zamboanga Del Sur. confiscated from their possession and control were: five (5) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu, three (3) pieces of one hundred peso (₱100.00) bills and drugs paraphernalia. The arrested persons were temporarily detained at Margosatubig MPS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at about 2:00 AM of December 23, 2016 at Zone 5, National Highway, Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City wherein the victim identified as PFC Leve Andrade Y Larede, Filipino, 34 years old, male, married, member of Philippine Army-Scout Ranger, assigned at SOCOM-Jolo Sulu with home address at Purok 2, Barangay Tagolo, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur.  Investigation showed that the victim was on his way home traversing the National Highway, Zone 5, Tiguma, Pagadian City driving his Honda XRM125 single motorcycle, when unidentified suspects on board on undetermined single motorcycle wearing white sleeveless shirts and short pants appeared from his back and shot him once hitting the lower right back neck and exited at the lower left back neck. Recovered from the crime scene was one (1) fired cartridge case of alleged caliber .45.

Stabbing Incident

MOLAVE - Stabbing incident transpired at about 10:00 PM of December 22, 2016 at Purok Bulahan, Barangay Lower Dimalinao, Molave Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Renato Tejas Romblon, 35 yrs old, male, married, farmer and a resident also of Purok Bulahan, Barangay Lower Dimalinao, Molave was stabbed to death by Giovanni Arong Ponseca, of legal age, male, single and a resident of above mentioned place. Suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident.

Motor Vehicular Accident

PAGADIAN CITY - Motor vehicular accident transpired at about 11:30 PM of December 22, 2016 at National Highway, Barangay Buenavista Pagadian City wherein one (1) blue Isuzu Forward Drop side, with plate number 122604 registered under the name of Hashim I. Jimlani with postal address of Guiwan, Zamboanga City and driven by Francisco Reyes y Paragas, 54 years old, male, married, a resident of Kilometer 6, Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City was accidentally collided into One (1) Hyundai Grace Van with plate number XES-322, residing at 20 Street, Bernadette Street, Provident Village, Makati City. Both vehicles incurred extensive damages and the driver of the White Hyundai Grace van sustained serious injuries that resulted to his death while the other driver was brought to Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

Cadaver Found

LABANGAN - A Cadaver was found at about 5:00 AM of December 23, 2016 at Barangay road of Tawagan Norte, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. The male dead body was tied on his back using rope and with blood oozing from his body wearing colored blue short (Basketball) pants, white T shirt, brown hair, aging 20-28 years old and wearing NIKE slipper. Recovered from the crime scene were three(3) spent shells of caliber .45 pistol and one (1) slug .4. Robbery Hold-up transpired at about 4:15 P.M of December 23, 2016 at Sitio Woodland, Brgy. Begong, Tigbao, ZDS wherein victim identified as one Philip Mark Baldo, 25 years old, single, employed as collector/C.I of Imperial Appliance Plaza with business address of Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City and a resident of Purok Roxas, Barangay Balongating, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur was allegedly held up by an unidentified riding criminals. One of the suspects gun point the victim with the use of calibre .45 and forced him to stop his driven single motorcycle. The suspect carted away his cash collections amounting to more or less Twelve Thousand Pesos (PHP 12,000). 5. Robbery incident transpired at about 08:20 P.M. December 23, 2016 at Olong’s Pharmacy store located at Real St., Purok Palmera, Barangay San Pablo, Dumingag, ZDS, owned and operated by Mrs. Jojie Tan y Borinaga, 43 years old, married a resident of the aforementioned place. Accordingly, one of the two suspects pretended to buy medicine and suddenly jumped over the glass corner shelf (estante) in order to get inside the said store, then and there suspect rushed to the casher drawer and pulled out his hand gun and carted away the cash money amounting to Fifteen Thousand (Php. 15,000.00) pesos.

Drug Suspect Arrested

VINCENZO SAGUN - Operatives of Vincenzo Sagun MPS conducted a buy-bust operation at Purok Waling-waling, Barangay Lumbal, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 PM of December 23, 2016.The said operation resulted to the arrest of one Ronald Mahusay Y De Vera, 22 years old ,married, farmer and a  resident of the above mentioned place. Confiscated from his possession and control were the following: two (2) small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; b. six  pieces of One Hundred peso (Php 100.00) bills as used as marked money. 

2 Drug Suspect Arrested

MARGOSATUBIG - Anti- illegal Drugs- Operatives of Margosatubig MPS led by PCI ANDREW TUCLUS LIMOD conducted drug buy-bust operation, through Intel-driven operation at Purok Abi-abihon, Sitio Lumahan, Barangay Tiguian, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:00AM of December 24, 2016. The operation resulted to the arrest of Newly Identified Drug Pushers under the Category of Street Level Target namely: Kilven Remedios Y Dela Peña: 30 year’s old, jobless, single and a resident of Purok Baluno, Barangay Kalian, Margosatubig and Raymond Nongo Y Quirong, 28 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Barangay Molum, Lapuyan. Recovered from their possession and control were the following: Five (5) pieces of heat sealed sachet of suspected shabu; three (3) pieces sliced rolled aluminum foils; three (3) pieces one hundred peso bills with SN numbers FW936905, LW298158 and AD374515 as marked money.

Dead Body Found

PAGADIAN CITY - A dead body found beside the gate of Pagadian City Fish Port located at Purok Masanagon Uno, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City at about 6:00 AM of December 22, 2016. The said cadaver was identified as Samuel Abastas Y Robledo, Filipino, 50 years old, male, separated, fisherman and a resident of Purok Sweetlove, Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City. Investigation disclosed based on the duty security guard of the above mentioned fish port the cadaver is under the influence of liquor wherein at about 1:00 AM of same date, subject person asked for a glass of water before going to sleep at the wooden long chair located outside the small office of the City Agriculture, Fisheries Division situated beside the entrance gate of Pagadian City Fish Port. Several hours later, subject person was seen lying on the ground beside the long chair where he sleeps. Investigation further revealed that the said cadaver was free from any wounds as potential indications of intentional death. Pagadian CPS is requesting the City Health Officer for post mortem examination to determine the cause of death of the victim. The cadaver temporarily lies at Gamalinda Funeral Homes for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

PITOGO - Former CAFGU listed as the Top (2) Most Wanted Person Municipal level was arrested at Purok Kalubian, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 o’clock in the morning of December 22, 2016. Arrested was Fernando Villacarlos y Erebuagas, 29 single, former Cafgu, top (2) most wanted person Municipal level. He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crimes of Double Murder with Criminal Case no. 15-062, Murder with criminal case no. 14-034, Murder with criminal case no. 14-035 with no bail recommended by the court for the temporarily liberty of the accused which were issued by Presiding Judge Hon. Felix B Rodriguez Jr at RTC-9, Branch 29, San Miguel, ZDS, Frustrated Murder with Criminal Case no. 14-036 with bail recommended of two hundred thousand pesos (php. 200,000.00) for his temporarily liberty and Multiple Attempted Murder with Criminal Case no. 14-037 and bail recommended twenty-four thousand pesos each (php. 24,000.00) for his temporary liberty issued by Presiding Judge Hon. Ruben N Bance at RTC-9, Branch 29, San Miguel.

Arrest of Wanted Person

PITOGO - Elements of Pitogo MPS arrested one Fernando Erebuagas Villacarlos, 29 years old, single, a resident of Purok Kalubian, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur. subject person was arrested on December 22, 2016 at about 7:30 AM, by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of double murder docketed under Criminal Case Number 15-062 Issued By Hon. Felix B Rodriguez Jr., Presiding Judge Of RTC 9, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. Arrested wanted person is temporarily detained at Pitogo MPS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

SOMINOT - Shooting incident transpired at about 5:30 PM December 21, 2016 at Purok Irene, Poblacion, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur. Wherein victim identified as one Epifania Samson Rosalejos , 72 years old, separated,  former casual employee at the LGU  of said municipality and a resident of Purok Uno, Barangay Barubuhan of Sominot, was shot by unidentified suspect/s. Victim sustained multiple gunshot wound on her body that resulted to her death. Recovered from the crime scene were four (4) pieces of spent shell of caliber .45. Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Sominot MPS is conducting thorough investigation for possible identification of the suspect.

DUMINGAG - Shooting incident transpired at about 4:00 o’ clock in the afternoon of December 21, 2016, at Purok 1 Barangay Bag-ong Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur wherein victim identified as one Ma. Asuncion Edullantes y Piano, 43 years old, single and a resident of Barangay Tagun, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur and while she parked her single motorcycle at the side of the provincial road of Barangay Bag-ong Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur, she was shot to death by unidentified suspect/s. Victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on her different parts of her body. Recovered from the crime scene were five (5) pieces of empty shells of cal. 45.

Vehicular Accident

MOLAVE - Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired at Rizal Avenue, Corner Gomez Street, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur on December 16, 2016 at about 11:20 PM. The vehicle involved described as: Single MC XRM, black color, bearing plate number 6314-OZ, registered under the name of Leland Ostia, resident of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur and driven by Elesio Estrella Jr. Y Zacarias, 43 years old, married, engine mechanic by occupation and resident of Barangay Gapasan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur. As a result, victim and driver of single MC sustained injuries on the different parts of their bodies and were rushed to Blancia Hospital, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur for immediate medical treatment, but the victim/pedestrian was later declared dead after several hours of medication.3. Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired at about 7:30 PM of December 17, 2016 at National Highway of Sitio Alang-Alang, Brgy. Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay, ZDS Wherein four (4) vehicles involved described as :One (1) Toyota Innova, bearing plate no. 6818, driven by Al Rey Lao EstillorE, 48 years old, resident of Brgy. San Pedro, Dumingag, ZDS together with his passengers Flordeliza V Estillore (Wife of driver) and Mary Joy L. Awa ;One (1) Isuzu Crosswind XUVMT, bearing plate no. GSU259, driven by PSI Soreño, Jeremias Pepito, 54 years old, married, active member of PNP and presently Officer In-Charge of Tambulig MPS and resident of Happy Valley, Tambulig, ZDS ;One (1) single MC Motorstar Zest X-110-IV, driven by Rey Tubac Capilitan, 32 years old, male, resident of Upper Tiparak, Tambulig, ZDS ; and One (1) Fuso Drop side Truck, bearing plate no. RNE 170, Registered under the name of Putting Manok Corporation, Molave, ZDS and driven by Kim Anthony Sabado Suan, 24 years old, single, resident of Maranding, Lala, Lanao Del Norte. As a result, driver of Vehicle 2 and 3 sustained serious injuries on the different parts of their body and head and were rushed to Blancia Hospital located at Molave, but declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. Driver of Vehicle 4 voluntarily surrendered to the responding PNP personnel of Ramon Magsaysay MPS. All vehicles involved were incurred heavy damage and now under the custody of Ramon Magsaysay MPS for proper disposition.

Vehicular Accident

MOLAVE - Motor vehicular traffic accident transpired at National Highway Of Barangay Dipolo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:00 AM on December 17, 2016 wherein victim/pedestrian identified as Lily Luage Balile, 65 years old, widow, resident of Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur was accidentally bumped by a single motorcycle Suzuki FW 110d, red color, bearing plate number 7817 driven by Joemar Carbajosa Cabrera, 17 years old, and a resident of Barangay Dilusum, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. as a result, victim and driver of single motorcycle sustained injuries on the different parts of their bodies and were rushed to Blancia Hospital, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur for immediate medical treatment, but the victim/pedestrian was later declared dead after several hours of medication. Said motorcycle is now under the custody of Molave MPS for proper disposition.

Vehicular Accident

JOSEFINA - Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired at about 5:05 PM of December 17, 2016 at National Highway of Brgy. Upper Bag-ong Tudela, Josefina, ZDS wherein victim/pedestrian identified as Jocelyn M Quilo, 41 years old, married, resident of Sitio Santo. Niño, Barangay Gumahan, Josefina, ZDS was accidentally sideswiped by single MC XRM 125, bearing plate number  4647KH, driven by Proctuso Villa Cruz Ybañez, 47 years old, former CAFGU member. As a result, victim and driver of single MC were brought to Rural Health Unit of said municipality for treatment. 5. Stabbing Incident. At about 5:30 PM of December 17, 2016 at Purok Malipayon, Banta-ao, Dumalinao, ZDS wherein victim Retchie Sabate Y Santiniaman,  29 years old, married, CAA Member assigned at Upper Nilo, CAA detachment, Tigbao, ZDS was stabbed using a broken glass by suspect Michael Abugaha,  31 years old, farmer, and resident of Purok Luy-a, Banta-ao, Dumalinao, ZDS. Victim sustained stabbed wounds on his left portion of his body proximal to his left axial and wound on nape and was rushed to Dumalinao Rural Health Center and was transferred to Pagadian City Hospital. Suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident.

Oplan Galugad Operation

PAGADIAN CITY - Operatives of Pagadian City Police Station led by PSI HARRY RATUNIL VELEZ, Intelligence Officer together with personnel of Bureau of Jail Management and Penology conducted a joint “Oplan Galugad” (Operation Greyhound) at Pagadian City Jail, Barangay Lenienza, Pagadian City at around 6:10 AM of December 15, 2016particularly at cell number 7 which resulted to the confiscation of the following items to wit:

a) Twelve (12) pieces heat- sealed transparent plastic sachets suspected to be “Shabu”

b) Two (2) rolled aluminum foils

c) Three (3) units cellular phone with three (3) charger

d) One (1) pack playing cards

e) Two (2) CDs

f) Thirteen (13) packs cigarette

g) Twelve (12) pcs. Disposable lighters

h) One (1) panel switch

i) Four (4) pcs. Razor blade

j) Two (2) pcs. Long toothbrush

k) One (1) soldering iron

l) One (1) army t-shirt

m) One (1) army pants

n) Twenty five (25) pcs. Assorted nails

o) Five (5) improvised knives

p) Four (4) pcs. Sand paper

The suspected “Shabu” was seized from the possession of inmates Melvin Yamuta Y Rodriguez and Geu Pongase Y Villarin who were both occupants of Cell Number 7. Recovered contrabands are now at the custody of the Investigator of BJMP Pagadian City Jail.

Vehicular Accident

TAMBULIG - Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired along the National Highway of Barangay Lower Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:00 PM of December 14, 2016, wherein one (1) Rural Transit Passenger Aircon Bus, color red with Bus number 957, owned by Rural Transit Mindanao Incorporated driven by Erenio Ente Fiel Jr, 45 years old, a resident of Tangub City, Misamis Occidental collided with Mitsubishi L300 Van, color white, bearing plate no. GPS518 owned and driven by Nicanor Lagang Aleman, 64 years old, married, a resident of Gomez St., Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. No persons injured during the incident.

Anti-illegal Drugs Operation

MARGOSATUBIG - PAIDSOTG personnel led by PCINSP ROMMEL G ETBEW together with personnel from RID9, ZSPPSC, 2ND MC, RPSB9, PDEA and Margosatubig MPS conducted a joint drug buy bust operation at Purok Dama De Noche, Sitio Luguimit, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:30 PM of December 12, 2016. The operation resulted in the arrest of oto pale pajiji, 46 years old, married a resident of said place. confiscated from his possession and control were: six (6) pieces of plastic sachets of shabu, two (2) pieces rolled aluminum foils, two (2) pairs of surgical scissors, one (1) five hundred peso (₱500.00) bill with serial number cq393365, one (1) unit cellphone (ckk-k5) an one (1) transparent plastic containing plastic sachets. Arrested person is temporarily under the custody of PAIDSOTG for proper disposition.

Motor Vehicular Non Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO - Motor Vehicular Non Traffic Accident transpired along the national highway of purok Malinawon, Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:40 PM of December 8, 2016, wherein one single MC XRM 125 fell into the right side of the road. The driver identified as one Michael Bitac, 19 y/o, resident of Municipality of Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was brought immediately to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center Dao, Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment.

Hacking Incident

MIDSALIP - Hacking incident occurred at Purok 5, Barangay Golictop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:30 PM on December 6, 2016. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victims identified as Ernesto Macalimbo Landawon, 53 years old, married, farmer and Jonard Bansal Landawon, 24 years old, married, farmer and both resident of Purok 5, Barangay Golictop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur while walking going home three (3) suspects identified as Tony Plesin, Wel Plesin And Dol Plesin all of legal age and a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Golictop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur block their way and without any apparent reasons hacked and stabbed the victims with the use of a bolo. Suspects fled to unknown direction after the incident. The victim Ernesto Landawon sustained hacked wound on his right shoulder, right ear and stabbed wound on his right chest while Jonard Landawon sustained lacerated wound on his mouth and were brought to the above-named hospital and subsequently transferred to Mhars Gen Hospital, Maningcol, Ozamis City. Motive of the incident was believed to be personal conflict. Midsalip MPS is now conducting hot pursuit operation for the possible arrest of the fleeing suspects.

Hold-up Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Hold-up incident transpired at National Highway, Tiguma, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:30 PM on December 6, 2016 wherein victim identified as Andres Cabusao Balaga, 68 years old, male, married, afp retired staff sergeant and a resident of Santo Tomas, Mutia, Zambonga Del Norte. initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was waiting for a bus ride to ozamis city at National Highway, Tiguma, Pagadian City, when unidentified male person approached him, pointing a cal .45 pistol and declared hold-up and asked if where is the money, in a visayan dialect “ asa ang kwarta”. upon knowing of the intention, victim handed over the money amounted to sixty thousand pesos (Php 60,000.00), in which he had just withdrawn from AFPSLAI, Lumbia Distict, Pagadian City. suspect immediately grab the money and fled riding his black honda xrm motorcycle without plate number heading to the municipality of labangan, zds. Pagadian CPS immediately coordinated with labangan mps to conduct checkpoint for the possible arrest of the fleeing suspect and conducted further investigation regarding the incident.

Arrest of HVT Personality

DINAS - Combined personnel of Dinas MPS, Zamboanga Del Sur Public Safety Company, ZSPIB, RID9, PAIDSOTG, MARITIME, HPG, 2ND MC RPSB9, PAGADIAN CPS tracker team, led by PSUPT Rosauro B Francisco, together with elements of 53rd IB, PA led by Lt. Col Virgilio C Hamos Jr., Batallion Commander conducted joint operation on most wanted person (MWP) and high value target (HVT) At Purok 3, Barangay Sambulawan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:00 PM on December 7, 2016. The operation resulted to the arrest of Pahad Modapil Tantong, a.k.a. “Paki” (top 7 HVT Provincial Level and member of Criminal Gang Ambol group) by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 8294, docketed under criminal case number 13-058 and violation of section 11, article 2 of RA 9165, docketed under criminal case number 13-059, issued by Hon. Judge Felix B. Rodriguez Jr., Regional Trial Court 9, Branch 29, Dated July 2, 2015 with bail bond recommended amounted to  (Php 280,000.00). Arrested subject person is presently detained at Dinas MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

AURORA - Personnel of Aurora MPS led by SPO4 Jimmy V Guevara, conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok Dahlia, Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. at about 9:00 AM on December 07, 2016. The operation resulted to the arrest of Baltazar Mañego Magtortor Jr, a.k.a “Bobby Jun”, 40 years old, married, businessman of Purok Dahlia, Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. the accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of section 5 of RA 9262, docketed under criminal case number 2129, issued by Hon. Winston M. Villegas, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 43, Tanjay City with bail bond recommended amounted to Php 120,000.00.arrested subject person is presently detained at aurora mps for proper disposition.

Discovery of a Dead Body

PAGADIAN CITY - An 18-year old female was discovered dead in her rented boarding house in Purok Mahigala-On, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Rowena Amil Gascon, 18 years old, a resident of Sitio Indigay, Barangay Bai Saripinang, Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 11:00 PM of December 3, 2016, he received a cellular phone call from the owner of the boarding house named Nida Salinasal informing him that his live in partner was discovered dead inside his rented room. Further disclosed that the victim suffered severe headache prior to her death. The cadaver lies at a funeral parlor for post mortem investigation. Pagadian City Police Station is still conducting follow-up investigation to determine if there was a foul play behind the incident.

Stabbing Incident

MOLAVE - Stabbing incident has transpired at public market, Barangay Maloloy-On, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur on December 4, 2016 at about 8:45 AM. Victim identified as Jehan Barimbao Delos Reyes, 27 years old, married, a resident of Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur who was stabbed by his neighbor identified as Rommick Tempros Campaner, 28 years old, single also a resident of the same place. Investigation disclosed that while the victim is rendering his duty as laborer of Alice Fish located at the above mentioned place, the suspect armed with kitchen knife suddenly attacked the victim without any apparent reason. The victim was able to notice the attacked and managed to run for his life but was chased by the latter until he was cornered along Morgan Street In Front Of Delos Reyes Lumber of same barangay and stabbed him from behind. Victim sustained stabbed wound on his back and rushed to Molave Blancia Hospital for treatment. The suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. Motive of the incident is believed to be personal grudge. Elements of Molave MPS are still conducting follow-up operation for the possible arrest of the suspect.

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Masaligon, Ballesteros Village, Balangasan District, Pagadian City On December 3, 2016, at around 4:00 AM, wherein victim identified as Ramelio Cadava Y Ledesma, 21 years old, male, single, assistant motorcycle mechanic and temporarily residing at Argoncillo Residence, Purok Santan, Ballesteros, Balangasan Dist., Pagadian City and with permanent home address at Purok Caimito, Barangay Pinig, Dumalinao. Victim sustained Gunshot wounds on his right neck which exited on the portion of his chin, at the back of his shoulder which exited on his right chest and one lacerated wound on the right portion of his head. Right after the incident, suspect fled to unknown direction while the said victim was then brought to Hofeliña Hospital, Pagadian City and later transferred to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for further medical treatment.

Vehicular Accident

DUMALINAO - Vehicular accident occurred at about 3:40 PM of December 1, 2016 at Barangay Tickwas, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein one (1) black single MC Sky go, no plate number, under registration, owned and driven by Albert Tigtig Lebones, 25 years old, married, farmer, resident of Barangay Betinan, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur was accidentally sideswiped by one (1) white Toyota Hilux. As a result, the single MC swerved and fell down into right side canal of said place, while the driver sustained injuries in the different parts of his body and was rushed by concerned citizen to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for treatment. The Hilux with unknown plate number and an unidentified driver fled immediately heading towards Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS conducted thorough investigation and operation to possibly identify, locate, and arrest the fleeing motorist/driver of said vehicle.

This resulted to the arrest of Marwin Colinares Olivar, 29 years old, married, driver and a resident of Purok Hyrons, Barangay Panduma Sr, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of physical injuries in relation to ra 9262 under cc no 12902-2k16 issued by Presiding Judge Benjamin R. Lanzaderas of RTC, Branch 22, Pagadian City dated June 20, 2016 with bail bond recommended amounted to Php 60,000.00. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Tukuran MPS for proper disposition.

This resulted to the arrest of Jaimelenton Maco Joyel, 46 years old, male, farmer, and a resident of Barangay Baya-Baya, Tabina, Zambaonga Del Sur. said person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Hon. Johnabel H. Tabunda Of 7th MCTC Of Dimataling, Tabina And Pitogo for the crime of grave threats under criminal case number 16-2236-t with bail bond recommended amounted to three thousand pesos (P3, 000.00). Arrested subject person is presently detained at Tabina MPS for proper disposition.
