Shooting Incident
SOMINOT - Shooting
incident transpired at about 5:30 PM December 21, 2016 at Purok Irene,
Poblacion, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur. Wherein victim identified as one Epifania
Samson Rosalejos , 72 years old, separated,
former casual employee at the LGU
of said municipality and a resident of Purok Uno, Barangay Barubuhan of
Sominot, was shot by unidentified suspect/s. Victim sustained multiple gunshot
wound on her body that resulted to her death. Recovered from the crime scene
were four (4) pieces of spent shell of caliber .45. Motive of the incident is still
to be determined. Sominot MPS is conducting thorough investigation for possible
identification of the suspect.

DUMINGAG - Shooting
incident transpired at about 4:00 o’ clock in the afternoon of December 21,
2016, at Purok 1 Barangay Bag-ong Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur
wherein victim identified as one Ma. Asuncion Edullantes y Piano, 43 years old,
single and a resident of Barangay Tagun, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur and while
she parked her single motorcycle at the side of the provincial road of Barangay
Bag-ong Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur, she was shot to death by
unidentified suspect/s. Victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on her
different parts of her body. Recovered from the crime scene were five (5)
pieces of empty shells of cal. 45.
