Recovery of Cadaver
BAYOG - An unidentified
male dead body was found floating at the irrigation located at Purok 1,
Barangay Depore, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 AM of December 28, 2016. The victim was found
floating lifeless and sustained stabbed wound on his body and believed was
stabbed by an unidentified suspect. Evidence recovered from the possession of
the victim was one (1) scabbard tucked on his waist. Investigation conducted
disclosed that victim was only known for his name as Tata Medina and reportedly
came from Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur and went to said place purposely to
work as farmer. the victim was seen/discovered by the children swimming at the
irrigation of said place and was reported to the Baranagay Chairman Of Depore,
Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur. further investigation conducted disclosed that based
on the statement of some witnesses, two (2) days prior to the incident, the
victim was seen drinking together with his companion/farmer identified as Judith
Otom And Dodo Boron, both from Barangay Dipili, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP personnel
of Bayog MPS still conducting thorough investigation to possibly identify,
locate and arrest the suspect/s.
