Shooting Incident
DINAS - An alleged
shooting incident occurred at Barangay Legarda Tres, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at
about 9:45 PM of April 18, 2017, wherein victim identified as Narciso Tacuning
Batsinecha, 59 years old, married, a resident of same place. initial investigation
revealed that while the victim visited the rice and corn mill of certain Wilson
Gabule Located At Purok 5, Barangay Legarda Tres, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur and
having a talked with Dionisio Matapa Gabule, 71 years old, Junior Gabule and
the wife of the victim, a loud sound surprised them which they believed that it
was of a gun fire, a minute after victim said, he was hit and he slowly sat
down to the ground bloody. Victim sustained gunshot wound at the back of his
body with unverified caliber of firearms due to the absence of empty shells
recovered at the crime scene. The cadaver of the victim was brought to his
residential house. Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Elements
of Dinas MPS are still conducting follow-up investigation for the possible
arrest and identity of the suspects.
