Suicide Incident

TABINA - Suicide incident transpired at Purok Sanib Langis, Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 AM of July 16, 2017wherein victim identified as Rodolfo Prieto Adlaon, 42 years old, male married and a resident of Sanib Langis, Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was found hanged on the doorjamb inside his house with an electric wire tied on his neck and the other end was tied at the upper doorjamb which caused to his death. The incident was discovered by his daughter Maryflor Adlaon, 12 years old at about 6:00 AM of July 16, 2017. Accordingly the victim suffered from distress due to his wife who left them two months ago leaving with him their seven kids. Vehicular Traffic Accident

PITOGO - Vehicular traffic accident transpired at Provincial Rd Purok Paradise, Brgy Poblacion Pitogo Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:45 pm of July 16 of 2017, Wherein Kawasaki hd3 motorcycle with sidecar driven by Roque H Langam, 57 years old, married, Municipal Agriculturist Of The Municipality Of Pitogo, and resident of Purok Orchids, Brgy Poblacion Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the driver had a drinking spree at his office on his way home while traversing towards purok paradise of Brgy Poblacion, Pitogo and upon reaching at the place of incident, the side wheel of his motorcycle exploded and stumble down. The driver sustained injury on the different part of his body and immediately brought to Pitogo Rural Health Center and subsequently forwarded to Jamiliarin Hospital In Pagadian City For proper medication, but pronounce dead by the attending physician.

Arrest of Wanted Person

RAMON MAGSAYSAY - Operatives of Ramon Magsaysay MPS conducted manhunt operation on wanted person at Sitio Alang-Alang, Brgy. Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 PM of July 16, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Miguelito Fernandes Sorela Jr., 23 years old, male, single, farmer and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Lower Sambulawan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. This is by virtue of two (2) alias warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Ronald C. Tolentino, Presiding Judge 9th Judicial Region, 10th Municipal Circuit Trial Court Of Ramon Magsaysay-Midsalip-Sominot, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur for the crime of grave coercions (art. 286, RPC) and theft  docketed under cc# rm-3221 and cc# rm-3220 both dated April 21, 2015 with a bail bond recommended amounting to twelve thousand pesos (php.12,000.00) for grave coercions and ten thousand  pesos (Php. 10,000.00) for theft. Arrested subject person is presently detained at Ramon Magsaysay MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person 

PITOGO - Be informed that at about 5:30 o’clock in the afternoon of July 14, 2017, at BrgyColojo, Pitogo Zamboanga del Sur, personnel of Katipunan MPS led by PCI ROBERT ESPARAGOZA AGDA, conducted joint manhunt operation with personnel of Pitogo Municipal Police Station, led by PSI ORLYN P LEYTE, COP and arrested one ROEL UGNAY y BANQUIL, male, Filipino, 44 years old with DOB: June 15, 1973, married, farmer and a resident of said barangay by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of  “FRUSTRATED MURDER” docketed in Criminal Case No.: K-7083 issued by Hon. Bidela C. Gandula, Presiding Judge of 5th MCTC of Katipunan-Sergio Osmeña, Sr., Ninth Judicial Region, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte dated January 7, 2003. Bail Bond for his temporary liberty is fixed at Twenty-four thousand pesos (Php24,000.00).  The accused is temporarily detained at Katipunan MPS while waiting the issuance of Commitment Order of the issuing court.
