Shooting Incident
MOLAVE -
Shooting incident happened at Purok Mapailobon, Barangay Lower Dontulan,
Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Jun Cavan Emnace, 52
years old, male, married, backhoe operator and resident of said place. He was
shot to death by unidentified person. Initial investigation conducted disclosed
at about 8:00 PM of February 13, 2018, the victim Jun Emnace was pasturing his
carabao on the grassy area of the aforementioned-place when he was directly
shot four (4) times by unidentified suspect hitting on the different parts of
his body causing his instantaneous death. Suspect fled to unknown direction.
Recovered from the crime scene were four (4) spent shells of caliber .45
pistols. PNP personnel of Molave MPS are conducting thorough investigation to
determine the motive and for possible arrest of the suspect. Investigator is

Shooting Incident
KUMALARANG
- Shooting incident transpired at sea area of Brgy. Gusom, Kumalarang, Zamboanga
Del Sur. The victim was identified as Romeo Seit Oman, 46 years old, married,
fisherman and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy, Picanan, Kumalarang. He was shot by
unidentified perpetrator/s. initial investigation conducted disclosed that at 8:04
PM of February 13, 2018, said victim left from their house purposely to check
his fish pen (bunsod) situated at the sea area of Brgy. Gusom but did not
retuned for the whole night, until they received information that the victim
was already dead. Said victim sustained three (3) gunshot wounds two (2) at his
left chest (entrance wound) exited at the back portion of his body and one (1)
at his right shoulder which resulted his instantaneous death. Suspect/s
believed to be on board on pump boat immediately left after the commission of
the incident going to neighboring sea area of Kumalarang, zds. Possible motive
of the incident was robbery since the pump boat (bandong) with Honda 6.5 horse
power were already lost and believed to be taken by the perpetrator/s. PNP personnel
of Kumalarang MPS conducting thorough investigation for possible arrest of the
suspect.
Stabbing Incident
MARGOSATUBIG
- Stabbing incident occurred at Purok Daisy 2, Poblacion, Margosatubig,
Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:40 PM of February 18, 2018. The victim identified
as NiƱo Arevalo Abadan, 20 years old, single, fisherman was stabbed by his
biological father identified as Roque Villanueva Abadan, 48 years old, male,
single, fisherman both resident of Purok Daisy 2, Poblacion Margosatubig. investigation
disclosed that, said victim together with his mother Tessie Abadan Y Arevalo
was at the residence of their neighbor (Evelyn Villanueva) watching television
show, after a few minutes said suspect believed to under the influence of
intoxicating liquor arrived at the aforementioned place and immediately
approached the victim and his mother and the three (3) were having a
conversation that lead to a heated arguments. After the argument, victim went
out said house and walk towards home while his father Roque Abadan followed him
from behind and without any provocation stabbed the victim hitting on the left
portion of his torso and was immediately brought to Margosatubig Regional
Hospital for medical treatment. Suspect was arrest by the responding PNP personnel
of Margosatubig MPS. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Margosatubig
MPS for proper disposition.
Arrest of Wanted Person
MARGOSATUBIG
- PNP elements of Lapuyan MPS together with personnel of Margosatubig MPS conducted
joint operation of wanted person at Purok Siren, Barangay Poblacion,
Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur
at about
5:30 PM of February 14, 2018. This resulted to the arrest of Abito Orjil Abia,
75 years old, male, married, and a resident of Sitio Bayulan, Brgy. Danganan,
Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur charged for the crime of malicious mischief docketed
under criminal case number 1772-l, being issued by Hon. Maria Teresa
Pangilinan, Presiding Judge, MCT San Miguel Zamboanga Del Sur. The arrested
subject person is presently detained at Lapuyan MPS for proper disposition.
