Electrocution Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - On or about 9:00 AM of April 2, 2018, the person of Aldam Deocani Acalal, 51 years old, male, married and resident of Purok Bangus, Barangay White Beach, Pagadian City personally appeared to Pagadian CPS together with Abdul Japar Hawani Ismael informing that the son of Aldam Acalal was electrocuted. Acting on the said report PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station responded to the reported place of incident to verify the veracity of the said report. The victim identified as Nurkhan Alibasa Acalal, 23 years old, male, single, fisherman and resident of Purok Bangus, Barangay White Beach, Pagadian City. The victim sustained multiple burns on different parts of his body which caused his instantaneous death. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 7:45 AM of the same date, the victim together with other fishermen on board a boat going to the sea when they passed overhead a live wire of ZAMSURECO and the victim tried to push up the wire but the victim was electrocuted that believed caused his instantaneous death. The investigator on case informs the electric company of ZAMSURECO regarding the incident and the personnel of them arrived at the area and able to conduct their assessment. The victim cadaver lies at their residence at Purok Bangus, Barangay White Beach, Pagadian City. Investigator is PO2 Mizrach Sumampong Lapid with CP # 09122923933.

Oplan Bakal Sita

PAGADIAN CITY -  or about 10:50 PM of April 2, 2018, Personnel from Pagadian CPS SWAT Team conducted Oplan Bakal Sita at El Florante Bar located at Sagun Street, Corner Duterte Street, Gatas District, Pagadian City which resulted in the arrest of Elvis Espiritu Dial, 33 years old, male, married, Filipino and a resident of Purok Rosal, Barangay Camanga, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that, the said suspect was having a drinking session together with his friends at the aforesaid bar when one of the Pagadian CPS SWAT Member discovered that he has firearm being concealed on his black sling bag. Thereon, when he was asked for his pertinent papers to possess such firearm, wherein suspect failed to produce the same. That the said firearm was confiscated by police officer and put him under arrest and informed him the basic rights afforded to him by our constitution. Thereafter he was brought to Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition of the case. Confiscated from the possession and control of said suspect were one (1) unit .45 caliber Pistol with markings STI Edge, serial number 197352, with one (1) magazine assembly loaded with five (5) pieces of live ammunition of .45 caliber and one (1) piece black inside holster. The arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS lock-up cell for proper disposition. Investigator is PO1 Noel L Bande with CP # 09177048897

RA 7610 Violator Arrested

DUMALINAO - On or about 8:00 AM of April 2, 2018, PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS conducted a warrant of arrest at Purok Kitong, Barangay Mama, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted in the arrest of Ian Cotez Duhaylungsud, 29 years old, married and resident of Purok Kitong, Barangay Mama, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur, by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime Slight Physical Injuries in relation to R. A 7610 docketed under Criminal Case No. 13707-2k17 issued by Presiding Judge Dennis Vicoy of RTC Branch 22, Pagadian City, with bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty is fixed at Two Thousand Pesos (P2,000.00). Arrested accused is now temporarily detained at Dumalinao MPS detention cell while waiting for final adjudication from court.
