PAGADIAN
CITY - Barangay Tanod arrested for violation
of RA 10591 in relation to COMELEC Gun Ban (Comprehensive Law on Firearms and
Ammunitions) on May 4, 2019 at about 2:50 AM at the vicinity of Barangay Hall
of Barangay Poloyagan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.
The suspect identified as Victoriano
Bacus Tausa Jr, 27 years old, male, with live-in partner, Barangay Tanod of
Poloyagan, and a resident of Purok Simple, Barangay Poloyagan, Pagadian City.
The arrest was made when the Provincial
Mobile Force Company- Zamboanga DL Sur PPO conducted a roving patrol at the
vicinity of Barangay Poloyagan when the latter received a phone call from a
concern citizen informing that there were group of people converging near the
Barangay Hall of Poloyagan.
Upon receipt of the report, PMFC-ZSPPO
proceeded to the abovementioned place.
Upon arrival thereat, the latter identifies
themselves as PNP member assigned at PMFC-ZSPPO but the group of Tanod
hurriedly fled and run inside the Barangay Hall and the suspect (Victoriano
Bacus Tausa Jr) was seen visibly tacking a firearm on his back, thus prompting
PMSG Rasid Barahim Y Jimlani and PSSG Abdul D Gampal to chased the latter and
PMSG Rasid Barahim Y Jimlani managed to grab him on his hand and grab the
firearm from the possession of the suspect.
When the respondent was asked regarding
the pertinent documents of the said firearm, the latter failed to show any
pertinent documents.
Said firearm describe as one (1) unit
.38 caliber with serial number 557042 loaded with six (6) live ammunitions and
was brought to Pagadian City Police Station along with the confiscated firearm.
Subject person temporarily detained at
Pagadian City Police Station detention cell, while appropriate charge for
violation of RA 10591 in relation to COMELEC Gun ban is now being prepared for
filing in court.

Vendor Held for the Crime of Attempted Homicide
SOMINOT,
Zamboanga del Sur - On May 3, 2019 at about 8:00 PM, PNP
personnel of Sominot Municipal Police Station led by Police Captain Juvic D
Aballe, Officer In-Charge, conducted police operation (Service of Arrest
Warrant) at Purok 1, Brgy. Libertad, Sominot, Zamboanga del Sur.
The operation was resulted to the arrest
of Jason Cano Y Saladaga, 36 years old, fish vendor, married, and a resident of
Purok 1, Brgy. Libertad, Sominot, Zamboanga del Sur.
The accused was arrested by virtue of
Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Attempted Homicide, docketed under Criminal
Case No.13947, dated 29 March 2019, issued by Presiding Judge, MTC, Branch 2,
9th Judicial Region, Pagadian City with no bail bond.
Subject person is now temporarily
detained at Sominot MPS detention cell while waiting for commitment order from
the court.
Robbery
Hold-Up Incident
PAGADIAN
CITY - On May 2, 2019 at about 10:30 PM, a
robbery hold-up incident transpired at Dacal Subdivision, Barangay Dao,
Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.
The victims identified as Sierra Claire
Villarta Y Malones, 28 years old, single, female, customer support, and a
resident of Purok Marang, Barangay Tuburan, Pagadian City and Erickson Lada Y
Ampatu, 27 years old, male, single, virtual assistance, and a resident of Purok
Alindahaw, Barangay Lumbia, Pagadian City.
Investigation disclosed that victims
were at Dacal Subdivision particularly at Barangay Road sitting on their
motorcycle having conversation with one another, when two (2) unidentified
suspects onboard single motorcycle suddenly stopped in front of them, pointed a
gun and declared hold-up.
The suspects carted away the following:
one (1) unit cellular phone Huawie Nova
3i with estimated amount of Fifteen Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Pesos (Php15, 990.00)
owned by Erickson Lada;
One (1) sling bag owned by Sierra
Claire Villarta containing wallet with cash money worth (Php5,000.00),
UMID ID, Voter’s ID, PNB- ATM Card,
GCASH, two (2) BPI- ATM Cards, Photocopy of official Receipt (OR), Certificate
of Registration (OR) and key of Mio Yamaha owned.
PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police
Station conducted thorough investigation and follow up operation to possibly
identify, locate and arrest the suspects.
