SHOOTING INCIDENT IN LAPUYAN

On or about 5:00 in the morning of August 21, 2015 a cellphone call received by Lapuyan Municipal Police Station from Eleazar Encarnacion - Barangay Emergency Response Team (BERT) chairman of Barangay Tiguha, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur informing that a shooting incident transpired on or about 1:00 in the morning of same date at the aforesaid place wherein victim identified as one (1) Aguilardo Nano y Hinaon, 32 years old, male, farmer, and a resident of Purok Kubo, Barangay Tiguha, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot by unidentified suspect with the used of undetermined caliber of firearm. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that while the victim was walking along the barangay road of the aforesaid place when suddenly an unidentified gunman shot him from behind hitting the back portion of his left ear that exited through the left cheek and at the right portion of his abdomen. Victim was rush to Lapuyan Municipal Health Center for medical treatment and was forwarded later to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao Pagadian city for proper medication while suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. Encounter Incident in Vincenzo Sagun

The personnel of Vincenzo Sagun MPS while conducting seaborne patrol along the sea waters off Barangay Biu-Os, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:00 PM of August 21, 2015, encountered a lawless elements. The incident resulted in the death of Junjie Isbot Galorio and captured of his four (4) companions namely: Joveto Galorio, Bobby Jerusalem, Joel Langgam, and Fredo Sapas Oclaret. Recovered from their possession and control were one m1 Garand rifle with three (3) magazines and twenty two (22) ammunitions. The arrested persons are now temporarily detained at V-Sagun MPS lock-up cell for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS –August 15, 2015

PRESS RELEASE
SHOOTING INCIDENT IN TUKURAN

On or about 7:00 o’clock in the evening of August 15, 2015, radio call from Barangay Captain Esnaira Mamasalagat Chavez of Barangay Lower Bayao, Tukuran Zamboanga Del Sur informing that a shooting incident transpired at Sea Breeze Beach Resort, Purok Linao, Barangay Lower Bayao, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur on or about 6:40 o’clock in the evening of same date. Immediately, Elements of Tukuran Municipal Police Station led by SPO4 Danilo Amores Cabrido responded to the place of incident and conducted ocular investigation. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was unidentified male person described as wearing white jacket with white t-shirt and blue jersey short pants, about 5’5” in height and between 20 to 25 years old. Investigation further disclosed that at about 6:00 o’clock in the evening of same date, the victim together with a male person and a female person went inside the sea breeze beach resort and momentarily standby in front of a cottage thereat. that at about 6:40 o’clock in the evening of same date, while the victim was about to go outside the gate of sea breeze beach resort driving a single motorcycle described as Yamaha rs110 color maroon/red bearing plate no. JA 42307 when immediately he was accosted by the said male person/male suspect and then he was suddenly shot once using a handgun cal.45 pistol as evidence of one (1) empty shell recovered in the crime scene. Victim sustained gunshot wound on his right zygomatic area and exited on his left occipital area that caused his instant death. The unidentified male suspect together with his female companion fled away on board a single motorcycle heading to north direction. Immediately, Tukran MPS alarmed the PAC public kiosk and PAC Curvada to block the possible escape route of the suspects. Tukuran MPS is continuously conducting manhunt and pursuit operation in order to identify and arrest the perpetrators. Motive of the incident still to be determine. SUICIDE INCIDENT IN PAGADIAN CITY

On or about 6:10 in the morning of August 15, 2015, PO3 Silverio V Candia, PNP member of Pagadian City Police Station and presently assigned at Tiguma COMPAC, Pagadian City informed Pagadian City Police Station through radio call that there was an alleged suicide incident transpired at Phase 3 Lower, Alta Tierra, Tiguma, Pagadian City. PNP elements of Pagadian CPS led by PInsp Alfon B Belloan, OD, together with the duty investigator, with direct supervision and control of PSupt Glenn Macario Dulawan, COP immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident to conduct investigation. Initial investigation conducted revealed that according to Christina Lanticse Lam (sister), victim identified as one (1) Samuel Lanticse Y Rama, 35 year old, married, Filipino, farmer and a resident of the aforesaid place had a seizure disorder illness in which at about 1:00 in the morning of August 15, 2015, said victim attacked by seizure disorder but not long after it was automatically relief and at about 3:00 in the morning of same date, said victim leave his bed and was only discovered at about 6:00 in the morning of same date at the back of the house of their neighbor consciously lied down but with laceration wound on his anterior neck and left arm and was immediately brought by his family at Pagadian Doctors Hospital for immediate treatment. Recovered at the crime scene was one (1) kitchen knife. Motive of the incident is still undetermined. Pagadian CPS is now conducting further investigation to determine whether there was any foul play regarding the incident.  Investigator on case is PO2 Louie Jay C Gabule with contact no 09474680242.

VEHICULAR ACCIDENT IN TIGBAO

On or about 8:30 in the morning of August 15, 2015, Hon Vice-Mayor Allan Matinez of Tigbao Municipality reported thru cellphone call that motor vehicle traffic accident transpired at Sitio Woodland, Barangay Begong, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP team of Tigbao MPS led by PO1 Arnel Buhisan under the direct supervision of PSI Norbert Ferrer Velonza, COP immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident to conduct ocular investigation. Investigation conducted revealed that one (1) Kawasaki Rouser 135, color blue, bearing with plate no KX 9016 registered under the name of Eliza B Fernandez of Bliss Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay and driven by Arvin Fernandez Capondag, 36 years old, farmer and a resident of L11 Crosswind St. Cristina H. Sanbat San Pascual Batangas equipped with non-professional driver’s license was accidentally sideswipe by a single motorcycle Skygo 125, color red, bearing with plate no JA 36845 owned and driven by Dan Abarico Elorza, 28 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok San Francisco, Barangay Guinimanan, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur equipped with student permit. Further investigation conducted disclosed that while the single motorcycle rouser 135 traversing the national highway bound for Pagadian City coming from Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay and upon reaching at the descending blind curve of Sitio Woodland, Barangay Begong, Tigbao Municipality one Skygo 125 overtook the rural bus from the opposite lane the driver of said single motorcycle rouser exerted effort to evade any possible accident but unfortunately the single motorcycle Skygo 125 sideswipe the left body portion of rouser which were resulted to the incident. The driver of single motorcycle rouser 135 sustained injuries and rushed to Jamelarin Hospital, Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment while the driver of Skygo 125 also sustained minor injuries and their single motorcycles incurred damages and brought to Tigbao MPS for safekeeping and for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS –August 12-14, 2015

PRESS RELEASE
Shooting in Midsalip

Shooting incident transpired at about 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon of August 12, 2015 at Barangay Baloni, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Lonito Lipan, legal age, married, a resident of said place. He was shot to death using a homemade shotgun by suspect identified as Rotcho Dumandos. Based on the initial investigation conducted by Midsalip MPS disclosed that prior to the incident, victim was having conversation with Rotcho Dumandos and Jerwin Dumandos, both are siblings of late Patricio Dumandos who is murdered last 05 August 2015 at same Barangay. During the course of their conversation, victim told the siblings/brother that the suspect/perpetrator responsible for the death of their father (Patricio Dumandos) was a resident of Barangay Sigacad, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur, however, later on, the victim (Lonito Lipan) stated that he was the one who killed/murdered their father. Immediately thereafter, suspect (Rotcho Dumandos) who was armed with a homemade shotgun shot the victim hitting on the different parts of his body which resulted to his untimely death. The suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. The Midsalip Police Station now conducted a thorough investigation to possibly locate and arrest the suspect. The motive of the incident is believed to be a vengeance/ revenge. The incident was not reported on time considering that the place where the incident happened was a far flung barangay with a distance of thirty (30) kilometers away from the municipality proper of Midsalip and were not passable by four wheel vehicle and even single mc could hardly passed or reached at said area and no access/signal is available which caused delay on the timely submission of report.

Encounter Incident in Midsalip

An encounter incident occurred at about 9:00 o’clock in the morning of August 14, 2015 at Barangay Piwan, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur, wherein of 10th infantry battalion, Phil army led by 1st Lt. Levie Jolly Bulawan engaged/encountered firefight with armed men at the above-mentioned place while they were conducting patrol at the aforementioned place. The firefight lasted for five (5) minutes and no casualties were reported.

Motor Vehicular Accident

Motor vehicular traffic accident occurred at about 1:05 in the afternoon of 14 August 2015 at national highway of barangay Dipole, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur, wherein one unit Mazda fish car color blue registered under the name of Josephine Malbuyo Bayawa and driven by Wendell Sumagang Y Babanto together with his truck man/helper named Ibrahim Dimatingcal, accidentally bumped one unit parked Isuzu elf dropsied boarded with one truck man / helper. Based on the investigation conducted by Tukuran Police disclosed that said Mazda fish car was traversing from  Dipolog City bound to Davao City and upon reaching particularly at the curve line of national highway of barangay dipole, molave, accidentally bumped the parked one unit Isuzu elf drop side hitting directly the victim/truck man/helper  Wilson Talimpong  who at that time seating beside the driver seat of said elf. As a result, the victim Ibrahim Dimatingcal (truck man of Mazda Fishcar) incurred serious injury on the different parts of his body while the truck man/helper of Isuzu elf drop side (Wilson Talimpong) incurred serious injury and both were rushed to Blancia Hospital for immediate medical treatment but same were declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. The Mazda fish car incurred major damages at the front portion of the vehicle and isuzu elf also incurred damages at rear portion and front cowling. The driver Wendell Sumagang Y Babanto voluntarily surrendered to Tukuran MPS and an appropriate case for reckless imprudence resulting to multiple homicides and damage of property was being prepared for filing in court.

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS

2 nabbed in Molave Drug Operation

Two individuals were arrested during drug buy bust operation carried out by Molave Police Station at Barangay Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 AM of August 12, 2015. Nabbed were Richel Estrada Y Labrador, 37 years old, with live-in partner, jobless and Reah Estrada Y Baloncio, 18, student. Recovered from possession and control of the  suspects are six (6) small triangular plastic sealed substance suspected to be shabu, six (6) rolled aluminum foil, ten (10) pcs one hundred peso bill, nine (9) pcs fifty peso bill, one (1) pc twenty peso bill, one (1) five peso and seven (7) pcs one peso bill recovered as the proceeds money, one (1) cellphone unit, one (1) red wallet, one (1) snow bear wrapper, and one (1) baby drop plastic container. Suspects are now detained at Molave Police Station lock-up cell while a case for violation of Republic Act 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.

PD 705 Violator Nabbed in Aurora

A farmer was arrested during police operation conducted by Aurora Police Station in Barangay Sapa, Luboc, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:45 in the afternoon of August 14, 2015. Police Senior Inspector Heidel B Te-Elan, Aurora Police Chief, identified the arrested man as Augustus Baquirquir Y Yamot a.k.a.  Pastor Boy, 49, married, farmer and a resident of said place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of sec.68, P.D. 705 (as mended) issued by Presiding Judge Annalyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, RTC branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under criminal case numbers 15-10-1202; 15-10,1203 and 15-10,1204 with bail fixed at ₱12,000.00; ₱40,000.00 and ₱40,000.00 respectively. Suspect is now temporarily detained at Aurora MPS locked-up cell awaiting court disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS- August 11-12, 2015

PRESS RELEASE
Shooting in Mahayag     

Shooting incident occurred at about 5:00 AM of August 12, 2015 at Barangay San Jose, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. The suspect was later identified as maximo r buot, 62, married and resident of mentioned place while the victim was identified as Nestor Larot Palahang, 50, single, farm caretaker and temporarily residing at the aforementioned place. Investigation showed  that the victim was woke up by the suspect purposely to  proceed to his farm to spray chemicals in his rice field, immediately thereafter, the victim without any words got a bolo and proceeded to the rice field, however, a few minutes later, the victim went back on said house. He was then confronted by the suspect regarding to the works at his rice field. A heated argument ensued between them and suddenly the victim attempted to hacked the suspect which prompted him to draw his caliber 45 pistol and shot the victim hitting on his neck which resulted to his untimely death. The suspect got panic and then proceeded to the house of the above-mentioned Barangay chairman purposely to surrender but during the course of investigation, suspect further averred that while on his way, the firearm cal. 45 pistols which he used of shooting the victim, he allegedly threw the said firearm into the irrigation canal. The evidence recovered from the crime scene are two fired cartridge case of caliber 45 pistol, one fired bullet of same caliber and one bolo. The suspect was now temporarily detained at Mahayag Police Station while a appropriate case is now being prepared for filing in court.

Shooting in Pagadian

Shooting incident took place at about 9:52 AM of August 12, 2015 at Jamisola Street, Santa Lucia District, Pagadian City particularly at Glavys Enterprises.  The victim was identified as Joseph Plaza Pepito, 31 years  old, single, motor mechanics and an active member of CAFGU assigned at Upper Nilo Detachment, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur and temporarily residing at Purok Tabing Ilog, Balangasan   District, Pagadian City. Accordingly, he was shot three times by unidentified suspect using alpha hand gun but fortunately he was not hit. initial investigation conducted by Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that the victim busy repairing a single mc of the customer at Glavy’s Enterprises when suddenly one unidentified male suspect appeared from behind and without any apparent reason shot him several times. After the incident, suspect immediately fled towards Datoc Street, Barangay Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City. The Pagadian City Police PO2 Fidel Lingatong and PO3 Rico Riconalla responded at place of incident purposely to locate and arrest the fleeing suspect but same eluded arrest. Based on the statement of the victim, he received an anonymous letter informing him not to be complacent enough because his life is in danger and he is also listed as number seven (7) among the list as contained in the letter. The weapon used by the suspect believed to be alpha cal. 45 pistol based on three (3) fired cartridge case recovered at the crime scene and subjected for turned-over to provincial crime lab for ballistic examination. The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducted follow-up investigation/ dragnet operation to possibly identify and arrest the fleeing suspect.

RA 7610 Violator Held in Kumalarang

The Kumalarang Police arrested a 60-year old man for violation of RA 7610 IN Barangay Diplo, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 o’clock in the evening of August 12, 2015. Arrested was Fernando Galindo Y Gometer, 61 years old, separated, carpenter and resident of same place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 7610 issued by Presiding Judge Benjamin Lanzaderas, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City docketed under criminal case number 12195-2k15 with bail bond recommended fixed at (P 80,000) for his temporary liberty. He is now temporarily detained at Kumalarang MPS locked dash up cell awaiting court disposition.

Construction Worker Arrested in Kumalarang for Theft

A Globe Construction worker was arrested by Kumalarang Police in Barangay Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:45 PM of August 11, 2015. Nabbed was Semplicio Ligutom Y Vios, 35, married, construction worker of globe kumalarang and resident of aforesaid place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of qualified theft issued by Presiding Judge Acibedo, Regional Trial Court, Branch 41, 10th Judicial Region, Cagayan De Oro City, docketed under criminal case number 2014-1033. He is now temporarily detained at Kumalarang MPS locked -up cell awaiting court disposition
