Sea Mishap Incident in Tabina
Sea mishap incident transpired at the coastal area of Barangay
Baganian, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM of August 2, 2015. The incident involves a barge ship carrying
more or less 432 cubic meter river-sand coming from Pollok Cotabato bound for Lamitan
City, Basilan. The said barge was identified as LCT Emelia 2 owned by Mike
Abubacar Construction and Engineering (MACE) and it left the Pollok, Cotabato last
July 28 2015, but it then encountered engine trouble which made the crew decide
to look for possible area where they can temporarily dock. The said barge
arrived the coast area of Barangay Baganian, Tabina at about 2:00 PM of August
1, 2015 and anchored thereat, however, due to bad weather and heavy rain at
about 4:00 PM of August 2, 2015, said barge tilted resulting to the captains
declaration of abandon ship but unfortunately, one of its crew identified as Nashruddin
Ayunan their chief mate refused to leave said barge. The barge capsized along
with Nashruddin Ayunan who up to present is still missing. The other crew
members are all accounted and safe and under the custody of the barangay
government of Barangay Baganian, Tabina and Municipal Social Welfare and
Development. They were identified as Colon Rogelio Regala, Ship Captain, Jonas
Sevilla, 2nd Mate, Lexter Penuliar, Engine Apprentice, Ferdie Jay Nipales, Engine
Apprentice, Paul Justin Barrameda, Deck Cadet, Joepit Ticoy, Engine Apprentice,
Gerundio Nazari, Ordinary Seaman, Rex P. Malolot, Chief Mechanic, Ruel C.
Baidiango, 2nd Mate Mechanic, Conrado S. Pakig, Chief Cook, Avelino D. Casao, Ordinary
Seaman, Ricky Dionio, Eduardo Baldado, Checker, and Jovito De Leon. The certified
scuba divers of said municipality led by Hon. Greg Ayawan Dayondon are
preparing for search and rescue operation possibly to recover/locate the body
of the missing person. The investigator on case is PO3 Nimrod B. Baja with contact

Shooting in
Pagadian
Shooting incident occurred at about 8:00 AM of August 2, 2015 at
Gate 7, Agora Complex, Datoc Street, Sta. Lucia District, Pagadian City. The
victim was identified as Sammy Magigiling Amir, of legal age, resident of Barangay
Poblacion, Dimataling. He was shot to death by unidentified suspect(s) using
.45 caliber firearm based on the five (5) empty shell of same Cal recovered at
the crime scene. Investigation showed that the victim was attending his duty as
terminal dispatcher for public utility van (PUVS) route of Pagadian City To
Dinas, Dimataling and vice versa when suddenly unidentified suspect armed with
short firearm approached the victim and without apparent reason shot the victim
several times. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of
his body which caused his untimely death. The suspects fled to unknown
direction right after the incident. The Pagadian City Police Station is now
conducting follow up operation to possibly identify the suspect(s) and to determine
the motive of this incident.
Dead Body Found in
Mahayag
A dead body found floating along the salug river at the vicinity
of Igano Quarry, Barangay San Isidro, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:30
AM of August 2, 2015. The unidentified male person aging from 70 to 80 yrs. Old,
5’3” in height was found floating along Salug River at the said place. post-mortem
examination conducted by the Municipal Health Officer disclosed that the victim
sustained lacerated wounds in the right eyebrow, right part of the forehead and
in the right sole and believed that the victim slipped and fell into the river
that cause his untimely death. The Mahayag Police Station is now conducting
thorough investigation relative to the identity of the victim as well as the possible
motive whether there is a foul play of the incident.
OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS
Wanted Man Held in
San Pablo
A 35-year old man was arrested during police operation conducted
by San Pablo Police Station in Barangay Pantad, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur at
about 4:00 PM of August 2, 2015. The San Pablo Police said 35-year old Arlito
Barioga Wamilda, 35, resident of Purok Sayson, Barangay Kapamanok, San Pablo,
was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of concubinage issued
by Hon Aniceto B Galon Jr., Presiding Judge, MCTC 9th Judicial Region, Dumalinao,
Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under criminal case number 3089-p with bail bond
recommended fixed at ten thousand pesos (P 10,000) for his temporary liberty.
He is now temporarily detained at San Pablo Police Station awaiting court
disposition.
