OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

CAMPAIGN AGAINST LOOSE FIREARM IN BAYOG

On or about 12:30 in the afternoon of July 30, 2015, PNP elements of Bayog Municipal Police Station led by PI Glenn Calibo Pollescas, officer in-charge conducted random checkpoint along Bayog-Buug Provincial road particularly at Sitio Mataga, Barangay Depase, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur acting on the report from concern citizen informing that there were armed men on board in bongo color light blue with plate number JEJ 401 bound for Bayog Municipality. PNP elements apprehended one (1) Jose Denila Y Dedil, 51 years old, married, jobless and a resident of Purok 5, Sitio Crossing Dacon, Barangay Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur for possession of one (1) caliber 9mm Ingram m11 (Cobrayo) machine pistol with serial number 625141 with one (1) short magazine with six (6) live ammunitions and one (1) long magazine with no ammunitions; hunting knife; and one (1) Danilo Cajandab Y Custodio, Retired AFP personnel, 52 years old, married and a resident of Purok River Side, Barangay Poblacion, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay Province for possession of one (1) caliber 38 revolver with no serial number loaded with five (5) live ammunitions and both were brought to Bayog Municipal Police Station for filing of appropriate charges and for proper disposition.

Shooting in Molave

Shooting incident occurred at about 6:10 in the afternoon of July 31, 2015 at Legarda Street, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Purisima Cagata Alinsug, 46 years old and married. He was already rushed to Salug Valley Medical Center by concerned citizen but unfortunately victim was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician due to multiple gunshot wounds sustained on the different parts of her body. The victim was shot several times in close range by two unidentified motorcycle riding criminals onboard on a undetermined type of single motorcycle. The elements of Molave Police immediately conducted   a hot pursuit operation and investigation for the possible arrest of fleeing suspects.

Shooting in Molave

Shooting incident occurred at about 5:30 AM of July 31, 2015 at Barangay Alicia, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Marcos Monteza. She was shooting to death by the suspect identified as Dominador Monteza Gumilos. The Molave Police immediately conducted hot pursuit operation against the fleeing suspect. He was later at Purok 4, Alicia, Molave. Confiscated from the possession of the suspect a 38 caliber revolver believed to be used in shooting the victim. Investigation revealed that the victim was sleeping in their house when the suspect arrived with a flashlight as well as handgun, shot the victim twice at close range through the bamboo wall. The victim sustained gunshot wounds on his head which resulted to his untimely death. The arrested suspect is now temp detained at the mentioned police station. An inquest case for murder is being prepared for filing in court against him.

Wanted Man Arrested in Labangan

A 26-year old man who is under the watch list of robbery and drug cases in municipality of Labangan was handcuffed by operatives of Labangan Police Station in Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center at about 7:50 PM of July 31, 2015. Arrested was Nasserin Dumato Y Cadingilan, 26, jobless and a resident of Barangay Tapodoc, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. He has a standing  warrant  of  arrest  for the crime of robbery with force upon things  docketed under criminal case nr  14472-2k14, issued  by Acting   Presiding  Judge   Benjamin Lanzaderas, RTC 9th judicial region branch 22, issued  on  23 March 2015   bail bond recommended fixed at forty thousand pesos (P 40,000.00) for his temporary liberty. The accused was admitted /confined at said hospital due to the vehicular accident and same sustained physical injuries. He is now under the custody of Labangan Police Station.
