PRESS RELEASE

SHOOTING INCIDENT IN PAGADIAN CITY

On or about 2:15 in the afternoon of August 1, 2015, radio call received by Pagadian City Police Station from PO1 Roderick Dumandan assigned at Tiguma Community Police Assistance Center (COMPAC) informing that shooting inc transpired at Zone 4, Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City and the victim was brought to the hospital for medication. Immediately, PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station together with the duty investigators under the direction of PSupt Glenn Macario Dulawan, COP proceeded to the reported place of incident for ocular inspection and investigation. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that on or about 2:13 in the afternoon of same date, while the victim identified as one (1) Bobby Pimentel Y Alestante, 47 years old, male, married, garbage segregation supervisor of said barangay and a resident of Zone 2, Barangay Tiguma while riding his Honda RS single motorcycle with plate number KA19948 going towards his carenderia (eatery) surreptitiously two (2) Honda XRM single motorcycles each boarded with two (2) male suspects tailed him and upon arrival in front of victim’s eatery, the back rider suspects shot the victim several times causing the victim to fell down to the concrete pavement. Right after the commission of the crime, the unidentified suspects speed up their single motorcycles towards the direction of the national highway and to unknown direction. The victim was rushed to Pagadian Doctors’ Hospital located at national highway, Barangay Lumbia, Pagadian City who sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body and now under observation of his attending physician. recovered at the crime scene were: Five (5) spent shells of caliber .45; Two (2) slugs of caliber .45; eyeglass and one (1) Honda RS single motorcycle with plate number KA 19948. All the recovered spent shells and slugs will be submitted to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for laboratory examination. PNP operatives of Pagadian City Police Station are now conducting follow-up investigation for possible identity the suspects and to determine the motive of said incident.

AURORA

On or about 7:00 in the morning of August 01, 2015, Aurora Municipal Police Station received a cellphone call from SPO2 Kit D Mayol informing that a vehicle owned by Custodio Mayol Y Suson, SB member of Aurora Municipality was shot by unidentified person/s while being parked outside his residence at Bonifacio St, Barangay Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Immediately, PNP team of Aurora MPS led by SPO2 Alex F Parot, under the direction of PI Kenneth Caralde Soon, DCOP proceeded to the aforesaid place to verify the said report. Investigation conducted disclosed that on or about 11:00 o’clock in the evening of July  31, 2015 while one (1) Isuzu crosswind colored white, bearing plate no. KCF 920 owned by Custodio Mayol Y Suson, 68 years old, widower, SB member and a resident of the aforesaid place and registered under the name of Angel L. Tan, was parked outside his residence when being shot four times by unidentified person/s hitting the back windshield and exited to the front windshield of the said vehicle, Recovered from the crime scene were three (3) empty shell, one (1) metal jacket, one (1) bullet and one (1) bullet fragment of caliber .45 pistol. CARNAPPING INCIDENT IN AURORA

On or about 7:30 in the morning of August 1, 2015, one (1) Donato Tigoy Jr Y Belino, 48 years old, married and a resident of Purok San Francisco, Barangay Balide, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur personally reported to Aurora Municipal Police Station and allegedly stated that on or about 4:00 in the morning of same date, he was awakened by a noise at the terrace of his house and upon verification, he saw the suspect identified as one (1) Roel Lesondra “aka” Dodo a resident of Barangay Lubid of same municipality and province take away his Honda XRM 110, colored yellow, with plate no. JN4102, and registered under the name of Noel B Tigoy a resident of Upper Sulitan, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay. Victim tried to chased the suspect but the latter was able to run away onboard the aforesaid single motorcycle and speeding towards unknown direction. Aurora MPS conducted a hot pursuit operation and conducted investigation of possible hiding place of the suspect but no to avail. Aurora MPS is now preparing pertinent documents for filing of appropriate criminal charges against the suspect in court.

VEHICULAR ACCIDENT DUMALINAO

On or about 9:30 in the morning of August 1, 2015 at Purok Manga, Barangay Upper Dumalinao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein one (1)Honda XRM 125, color black and white combination with plate nr 8209 JL, owned by Benigno Aquino a resident of Poblacion Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur and driven by Alexander Abasolo, habal-habal driver and a resident of Barangay Calingayan, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur accidentally hit by Honda wave 100, color blue, with plate nr JA36119 owned by Nilo Malejon and driven by Devea Mae Molejon, no drivers license and resident of Purok Waling-Waling, Barangay Tina, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted by Dumalinao MPS disclosed that while Honda XRM 125 was traversing from Barangay Calingayan, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur bound to Dumalinao proper and upon reaching at the aforementioned place accidentally hit/bumped by Honda wave 100. As a result both vehicles were slightly damaged while the driver and back rider of Honda wave 100 were injured and were rushed to medical center for medical attention while both vehicles were now in the custody of Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition. OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON

LABANGAN

On or about 4:20 in the afternoon of August 01 2015, PNP team of Labangan MPS led PI Junar Clamonte Yap, DCOP conducted manhunt operation against wanted person that resulted to the arrest of one (1) Rabby Baldecantos Y Baclas, 32 years old, married, construction worker and a resident of Purok Bagong Silang, Barangay Lantian, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of a warrant of arrest with criminal case nr 8383-2k6 issued last April 27, 2015 by Judge Rolando L Goan Of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 19, Pagadian City for the crime of Robbery with force upon things. Accused is now temporarily detained at Labangan lock-up cell awaiting for commitment order from the issuing court.

PAGADIAN CITY

On or about 11:43 in the morning of August 1, 2015, PNP personnel of pagadian city police station led by PI Harry Ratunil Velez, OD proceeded to Purok Bayabas, Barangay Lumbia, Pagadian City and effected the arrest of one (1) Howell Ramos Climaco, 41 years old, married and a resident of purok hini-usa of same barangay, by  virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon Joel Vercide, Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region, MTCC Br 01, Pagadian City for the crime of Malicious Mischief with cc nr 17135 with a bail bond of Two Thousand Pesos (Php2,000.00) recommended for his temporary liberty. Suspect now temporary detained at lock-up cell of Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL NUMBERS GAME

On or about 7:15 in the evening of August 01, 2015, PNP elements of Aurora municipal police station under the direction of PI Kenneth Caralde Soon,DCOP, together with the elements of (PAIGSOTF) Provincial Anti Illegal Gambling Operation Task Force led by PI Harry Ratonil Velez conducted joint operation against illegal numbers game locally known as “Swertres” particularly at Purok Dahlia, Barangay Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur and was able to apprehend one (1) Danilo Doña Y Sagpang, 50 years old, married and a res of Purok Mabini, Alegria, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur while the suspect was collecting bets from the bettors at the aforementioned placed. Confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect were the following: cash money as bets amounting to Four Hundred Thirty Pesos and Twenty five centavos (₱430.25) in different denominations, sixty six (66) pcs filled-up stubs with different number combinations, three (3) pcs carbon paper, one (1) unit Nokia cellphone model 1208, Eight (8) pcs ballpen in assorted colors, Six Hundred Fifty Two (652) pcs blank stubs all put inside in a sling bag colored black to include one (1) unit Honda XRM 125 colored red with plate no 5603JC. Apprehended person is now in the custody of Aurora MPS while appropriate criminal charges is now being prepared for  filing as inquest case for violation of R.A. 9287 against him in court.
