Pedestrian Hit by a Speeding MC in Pagadian

A pedestrian was accidentally hit by a speeding Suzuki motorcycle along the the Integrated Bus Terminal in Pagadian City at about 8:50 AM of September 25, 2015. The running single mc Suzuki fj110lb with plate nr ja60617 driven by Nicolas Aquit Y Becoy, 66, was traversing from Pagadian City bound for san Pablo, however, upon reaching the heart of the town fronting IBT one pedestrian Elicio Maputi Y Paglinawan, 78, resident of Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, was accidentally hit by the driver itself particularly in the right eye and slumped to the concrete road. Both pedestrian and the driver sustained injuries and were brought to Pagadian City Medical Center for medication.

Stabbing Incident in Josefina

Stabbing incident occurred at about 11:30 PM of September 25, 2015 in Purok Tambis, Barangay Gumahan, Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur, wherein victim identified as Babie Jean Mahinay Y Dalangin, 22 years old, college student, was stabbed by Christian Mae Curayag Y  Palomares, 21 years old, live-in partner of Wilson Ursonal Jr., college student. The victim sustained stab wound on her left hand and brought to Medina General Hospital, Ozamis City for immediate medical treatment. The Josefina MPS rushed to the crime scene and apprehended the suspect and found near the crime scene a hunting knife allegedly thrown by the said suspect. Suspect and the recovered hunting knife were brought to the mentioned police station for proper disposition. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the said victim- Babie Jean Mahinay had sexual relations with Wilson Ursonal Jr and   having one child, presently the suspect- Christian Mae Curayag and Wilson Ursonal Jr lived together as husband and wife and also having one child. investigation further disclosed that the victim and the suspect had alpha quarrel in front of the parents’ house of Wilson Ursonal Jr. where they are living and it was Wilson Ursonal Jr timely pacified their trouble but unfortunately, Christian Mae Curayag was able to get a hunting knife from their kitchen. At this instance, Wilson Jr failed to manage the trouble of the duo which Christian Mae Curayag made a strike her hunting knife which resulted the left hand of Babie Jean Mahinay injured. The motive of the incident believed to be jealousy and love triangle. The said police station is now conducting follow-up investigation of the incident to warrant the filing of case in court against the suspect.

Campaign on Illegal Drugs in Aurora

The elements of Aurora Police Station led by Police Senior Inspector Heidel Batulog Te-elan conducted checkpoint operation at Barangay Romarate, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:15 PM of September 24, 2015. This resulted to the interception of one single mc and arrest of suspect identified as Mark Alvin Cajetas Y Duterte, 27 yrs. old, single with live-in partner, jobless and a resident of Purok Waling-Waling, Barangay Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City with his driven single mc Honda wave 125 color black bearing plate number it8008. Confiscated from his possession and control are the two (2) pcs transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to shabu and one (1) piece improvised tube with tooter. Arrested person is now temporarily detained at Aurora MPS locked dash while appropriate case for viol of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.
