REPORTED INCIDENTS – March 22, 23, 2016

Alleged Abduction:
A report received from CPL Roseller Deparine of collection team “bravo”, Intelligence Unit of 53rd IB, PA that alleged abduction transpired at Purok San Francisco, Barangay Maruing, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:05 pm of March 23, 2016, wherein victims identified as antonio tan, 70 years old, and a resident of the above mentioned place together with his grandson certain identified as Ryan Nuñeza Tan, 21 years old was forcibly taken by more or less six (6) unidentified persons at his residence. two (2) pump boats (bote-bote) color white and blue used in the direction of Zamboanga Sibugay Seas. PNP elements of Margosatubig Municipal Police Station conducted similar operations as blocking force in the area of responsibility of Dumanquillas Bay. Flash alarm to other neighbor coastal Municipal Police Station of the incident. PNP personnel of Lapuyan MPS are conducted seaborne hot pursuit operations for the possible recovery of the victims and the arrest of the suspects.

Lambat-Sibat Operation (Illegal Drugs):

On March 23, 2016 at about 6:00 pm, intelligence operatives of Pagadian City Police Station led by PI HARRY R VELEZ, Assistant Intelligence Officer conducted drug buy-bust entrapment operation at Purok Malambuon, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City that resulted in the arrest of a certain Muamar Panandigan Makalagan, 25 years old, male, single, resident of Purok Iranon, Barangay Muricay, Pagadian City. Recovered from the suspect were two (2) pieces heat-sealed cut drinking straw, color green containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and the two (2) pieces one hundred peso (Php 100.00). Suspect is temporarily detained at Pagadian City PS for proper disposition.

Campaign Against Illegal Drugs:

          The PDEA9 led by director Levi Ortiz and PIB-ZDSPPO led by PSUPT MODHIN a pantaran in coordination with Pagadian City Police Station led by PSUPT MICHAEL PALERMO conducted law enforcement operation against illegal drugs at Rizal Ave. Brgy. Santiago, Pagadian City at about 1:30 am of March 22, 2016,  that resulted in the arrest of three (3) suspects namely: Geu Villarin Pongase, 34 years old, resident of Barangay Maloro, Tangub City; Dionesio Dumanjog Saligan, 50 years old, resident of Barangay Maloro, Tangub City and Lyle Laurete Lacambra, 35 years old, resident of Brgy. Calabayan, Ozamis City. Confiscated items were three (3) kilo grams of suspected shabu and kia sorento, vehicle, with plate number 090801, color maroon. The said confiscated items are under the custody of PDEA Zamboanga Del Sur for proper disposition. Suspects are temporarily detained at Pagadian City PS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident And Arrest Of The Suspect:

          Precillano Godinez Villa, 47 years old, married, driver, resident of Barangay Acad, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur reported to Aurora MPS informing that a shooting incident transpired at the aforesaid barangay at about 2:45 am of March 23, 2016, wherein her son identified as Bryan Amaro Villa, 24 years old, married, laborer and a resident of purok 1, resident of same place was shot by suspect identified as Dionesio Bitangga Alipan, 53 years old, married, farmer, resident of same place. Investigation conducted disclosed that on march 23, 2016 at about 1:20 am, both victim and suspect had a drinking spree at the birthday gathering when a heated argument ensued between them prompting the suspect to draw his .22 revolver and shot the former four times hitting the chest and right arm of the victim. Victim was rushed to Aurora Community Emergency Hospital for medical attention and subsequently referred to Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Medical Center for further medication. Hot pursuit operation was conducted by the responding PNP elements that led to the arrest of the suspect at his residence. Confiscated from his possession was the handgun used in the shooting which was taken/grabbed by Barangay Kagawad Cenon Pabroa of Brgy Napo, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspect is temporarily detained at Aurora MPS for proper disposition while case for frustrated murder and illegal possession of firearm in relation to Omnibus Election Code (comelec gun ban) is being prepared for filing in court.

Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident in Dumalinao

          A motor vehicle traffic accident transpired along the National Highway of Purok Kamansi, Barangay Camanga, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:00 pm of March 19, 2016, wherein one (1) unit isuzu mux, aqua blue, with temporary plate number 3931, registered under the name of Julieta P Cañete, resident of San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur, driven by Ebenizer Caballero Cañete, 52 years old, married, also resident of Poblacion San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur was accidentally bumped into the right concrete barrier of the road. Fortunately the driver and his passenger sustained no injuries but his driven vehicle mu-x isuzu incurred damages.

          A motor vehicle traffic accident transpired at National Highway Of Purok Santan, Barangay Lucoban, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:25 am of March 20, 2016, wherein two (2) vehicles involved were vehicle one (1)  unit nissan urvan, utility vehicle, color black, with plate number WEZ-266, registered under the name of Rogelio T Sanro and driven by Ceriaco Lopez Masayon Jr, 33 years old, married, residence of Poblacion Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur. The two (2) kawasaki, ER250Cc with plate number JA-79063 registered under the name of Thomas Lorenz O Ramos, resident  of Pagadian City Zamboanga Del Sur and driven by Jerold Mark E. Pasay, 27 years old, single, resident of Purok Maabtikon, Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboaga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that vehicle one (1) was traversing from Pagadian City bound to Municipality of Guipos loaded with passengers while vehicle two (2) was traversing from Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur bound to Pagadian City. Upon reaching at Purok Santan Barangay Lucoban, Dumalinao, Zamboanag Del Sur, driver of vehicle two unable to control his driven motorcycle, crushes to the road and bumped into vehicle one. As a result, driver of vehicle two sustained minor injury to his body while no injury reported to the passenger of vehicle one. Both vehicles were brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

          On March 16, 2016 at about 4:45 in the afternoon, a wanted person identified as Janlie C. Mesada, 22 years old, female, part time teacher of J.H Cerilles State College-Dumingag Campus, Barangay Caridad, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur, was arrested by PNP elements of Dumingag Municipal Police Station led by SPO2 Ceriaco Arbis Jr., intelligence PNCO by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of R.A. 9262 or otherwise known as Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act docketed under criminal case number 2016-10-3120, issued on February 22, 2016, signed by Honorable Judge Jaime B Caberte, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court 9, branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur with recommended bail bond amounting to twenty four thousand pesos (₱24,000.00). Arrest of Most Wanted Person in Pagadian City

          On March 17, 2016 at about 7:15 in the evening, the PNP personnel of RIU9, Ozamis CPS and Pagadian CPS, arrested Joel Mejos Caw-It, (Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur number 4 MWP) at Purok 4, Barangay Tabid, Ozamis City by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Rolando Goan, Presiding Judge of branch 21, Pagadian City for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case number 10933-2013. Suspect is at the custody of Ozamis CPS.

Report On Rape Incident And Arrest Of The Suspect Tigbao

         On March 17, 2016, at about 7:50 am, Barangay Captain of Begong, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur Honorable Joy Reyes Valandra and Lolito Cabatcha together with the victim identified as Chenelyn Nadal Cabatcha, 9 years old, grade four (4) pupil, minor and a resident of Sitio Woodland, Barangay Begong, Zamboanga Del Sur personally appeared to Tigbao MPS and reported that she was raped. Initial investigation disclosed that on March 17, 2016 at about 5:00 pm the victim allegedly raped by Rey Galon Nadal, 23 years old, single, and a resident of same place. Immediately, PNP personnel of Tigbao MPS, led by PO3 Michael Yabo proceeded to the said place and arrested suspect. Subject person is now temporarily detained at lock-up cell of Tigbao MPS for proper disposition. Investigator on case is PO1 Liezel Bonzales Aniñon with contact number 09077195366.

Arrest Of Wanted Person Josefina

          A wanted person was arrested and identified as Ruben Toling Adecer, 18 years old, resident of Sitio Gomahan, Barangay Poblacion, Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur was arrested at about 11:45 pm of march 18, 2016 at Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur by the joint PNP elements of Molave MPS and Josfina MPS by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of robbery, issued by Hon Loreto C Quinto, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, branch 23, Molave, ZDS docketed under criminal case number 2006-10-1700, dated 11 January 2007 with bail bond recommended of (₱12,000) for his temporary liberty. The accused is now temporarily detained at Josefina MPS for proper disposition.
