Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO - Vehicular traffic accident transpired along the National Highway, Purok Malinawon A, Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 PM of February 28, 2017. Wherein single motorcycle motor star color black with plate number 6537 pw and driven by Armando Dela Cruz Casimillo, 28 years old, married, farmer with his back rider Rosalie Alangilan Casimello, 29 years old, daughter Princess Jean Alangilan Casimello, 3 year old, and son Remark Casimello, 6 years old, and a resident of Purok Lambudar, Barangay Molansong, San Pablo, and single motorcycle XRM 125 color black, with no plate number driven by Keven Keneth Mandayog, 49 years old, married, teacher by occupation with his back rider identified as Analie Imbing Cabanlet, 38 years old, married, teacher by occupation, both resident of Poblacion, Lapuyan. Investigation conducted disclosed that the motor star motorcycle traversing from Barangay Camanga, Dumalinao road bound to Poblacion, Dumalinao upon reaching of the above mentioned place he turn to left direction to fetch a gasoline at shell gasoline station and was accidentally bumped from behind by Honda XRM traversing from Poblacion Lapuyan bound to Pagadian City. As a result, both driver and passengers sustained injury to different parts of their body and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center by the responding PNP personnel for immediately medical treatment while their driven single mc incurred damages and was brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

Robbery Incident

DUMINGAG - Robbery incident occurred at the store of Regina Albios Labang, 61 years old together with her sister Pacita Albios, 72 years old both residents of Purok Azucena, Barangay San Pedro, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that at about 8:00 AM of February 28, 2017, the door lock and wall of the said store was forcedly broken and blood stain was seen over the place. Further added that their cash money amounting P5, 000.00 was carted by the robber and the blood stain was been observed going the direction to the resident of Archie Labang Gorre. It was found out that suspect sustained cut wound on his right little finger due to the breaking of the door locked. The responding PNP personnel of Dumingag MPS successfully arrest of the suspect and were detained at said station for proper disposition.

Missing Child in Tukuran Found in San Pablo

SAN PABLO - A male child cadaver was found at the shoreline of Barangay Tandubuay, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:00 PM of February 28, 2017. The male child cadaver was wearing yellow jersey short pant with white rivets on both sides with no upper garments. Accordingly, the missing child was the one reported last February 26, 2017 in Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. The San Pablo MPS contacted Dante Sabakahan Laraño, father of the reported missing child thru a cellphone call informing that one male child cadaver was found at the shoreline of Barangay Tandubuay, San Pablo at about 11:00 pm of same date Dante S Laraño, 36 years old, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok 1b, Barangay Ocapan, San Miguel, arrived at Municipality San Pablo and positively identified the cadaver was his son, John Paul Saranillo Laraño, 5 years old, a preschool pupil who was missing last February 26, 2017 in Lower Bayao, Tukuran, when they had a family swimming party thereat. Accordingly victim was missing for almost (2) two days and believed to be drowning and was drift away by the strong current of seawater and reached the shoreline of Tandubuay, San Pablo. The San Pablo MPS released the said cadaver to his father for proper disposition.

Turn-Over of UXO

DUMINGAG - Concerned citizen together with police auxiliary of Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur voluntarily turn-over to the PNP personnel of Dumingag MPS at about 11:00 AM on February 27, 2017, two (2) explosives described as: one (1) 60mm Mortar Bomb; and one (1) Grenade Rifle at about 1:20 pm of same date. Subject UXO was subsequently turned-over to PO3 Reuben G Balido, team leader, Bomb Squad, Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition.

Campaign against Illegal Gambling

MOLAVE - Joint operatives of Molave MPS and CIDG-Zamboanga Del Sur conducted illegal gambling operation locally known “mahjong” at Ranilo St., Barangay Maloloy-Oy, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:45 PM of February 28, 2017. However, upon sensing of raiding team immediately the players scampered to different direction and recovered one hundred forty four (144) pieces of block/tiles used in illegal game, two (2) pieces of block/cube used as dice and one hundred fourteen pesos (Php 114.00) cash. The said gambling place owned by certain Jonathan Uy, resident of the above mentioned place. The CIDG is now preparing appropriate charges to be filed in court for illegal gambling against the owner.

Shooting Incident

DIMATALING - Shooting incident transpired at Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:30 PM of February 27, 2017. The victim was identified as nasser Balud a.k.a. “Oto Tiblan”, 33 years old, married, resident of said place was shot to death by unidentified suspect using undetermined type of caliber of firearm. Investigator on case of Dimataling MPS is now conducting thorough investigation to determine the motive of the incident and the possible identity and arrest of the suspect.

Vehicular Accident

GUIPOS - Vehicular accident transpired at Purok 5, Poblacion, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:20 PM of February 26, 2017 involving a motorized tricycle, bearing plate no. jl 7767, driven by Marjon Lagbas Malalis, 26 years old, married, on board his wife Aliza Mamacla Malalis, legal age, his son Cydrick Kyle Mamacla Malalis, 4 years old and the brother of his wife Melbert Sulalo Mamacla, 1 year old, all are residents of Poblacion, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur, and a single motorcycle, Suzuki raider 150, color black, with no plate attached, driven by Roel Cuizon Dinsin, 23 years old, student of ZSMIT, resident of Libertad, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation disclosed that the motorized tricycle was traversing from Barangay Poblacion, Guipos going home and upon reaching at the said place of the incident, accidentally bumped by the single mc, raider 150, at the rear portion of the said motorized tricycle that was travelling in the same direction. As a result, both vehicles crashed on the road and incurred damages, passenger on board Aliza Mamacla Malalis sustained serious injuries as well as the driver of the single motorcycle and were immediately brought to Jamellarin Hospital for medical treatment while the two minor passengers and the driver of said motorized tricycle sustained minor injuries. at about 9:30 pm of the same date, Aliza Malalis, was pronounced dead by the attending physician due to serious injuries sustained. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the single motorcycle was under the influence liquor. Both vehicles incurred damages and were brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

Vehicular Accident

DUMALINAO - Vehicular accident transpired at national highway of Purok Malipayon, Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 AM of February 27, 2017. Wherein a single Honda wave 125, bearing plate number 90108, driven by Robinson Ansag, legal age, resident of Barangay Poblacion, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur was accidentally bumped into a signboard along the road that was under construction. As a result, the driver of said MC sustained injuries on the different parts of his body and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for medical treatment, while the said mc was brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

Attempted Murder Suspect Nabbed

SOMINOT - Operatives of Midsalip MPS conducted a manhunt operation at Purok 2, Barangay Libertad, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:15 PM of February 27, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Fedelino Araneta Romo, 59 years old, married, farmer, resident of said place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Acting Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur, docketed under criminal case number 12-10-894 for the crime of attempted murder, with bail bond recommended amounting to one hundred twenty thousand pesos (php 120,000.00) for his temporary liberty. Arrested person is now temporarily detained at Midsalip MPS lock-up cell awaiting court order.

DUMALINAO - Vehicular traffic accident transpired at Barangay Camalig, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:15 AM of February 26, 2017. Wherein  Mitsubishi Estrada color white with plate number ACI 5943 and driven by Ronald Labiba Yap, 32 years old, married, businessman a resident of Poblacion, Talusan, Zamboanga Sibugay and single motorcycle Honda wave 100 color red with plate number JM 2443 driven by Isagani Ecdang Macalulag, 23 years old, single, shop mechanic a resident of Purok Dos (2), Sapa-Anding, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation disclosed that Estrada vehicle was traversing the road from Pagadian City bound for Zamboanga Sibugay Province while single motorcycle Honda wave was traversing from Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur Bound For Pagadian City that upon reaching at Purok Marang, Camalig, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur accidentally came into contact. As a result, both vehicles incurred damages and the driver of single motorcycle sustained minor injuries and brought to Jamellarin Hospital for medical attention while both vehicles were brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

DUMALINAO - A COMMOTION TRANSPIRED AT THE RESIDENCE OF DOUGLAS ZARANDONA MOQUIAO AT PUROK PARADISE, BRGY. SUMADAT, DUMALINAO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AT ABOUT 9:50 PM OF FEBRUARY 23, 2017. INVESTIGATION SHOWED THAT ONE DOUGLAS ZARANDONA MOQUIAO, 54 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, RETIRED PHILIPPINE ARMY TOGETHER WITH HIS WIFE, ROSENDA PALGAN MOQUIAO, 42 YEARS OLD WAS HARASSED BY HER BROTHER IN LAW CERTAIN MELCHOR SAJULGA, THEIR NEIGHBOR THAT FLED IMMEDIATELY AFTER NOTICING THE ARRIVAL OF THE RESPONDING POLICE PERSONNEL.  INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED BY THIS OFFICE DISCLOSED THAT SUSPECT, MELCHOR SAJULGA ENTERED INTO THE DWELLING OF MR AND MRS MOQUIAO AT THE KITCHEN AREA ANGRILY AND UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF LIQUOR LOOKING INTO HIS WIFE, THAT AFTER THE VICTIM REFUSES THE PRESENCE OF HIS WIFE SUDDENLY, THE SUSPECT DREW A PISTOL FROM HIS WAISTLINE AND POINTED IT INTO DOUGLAS MOQUIAO, THAT UPON GIVEN OPPORTUNE TIME DOUGLAS WAS ABLE TO GRAB THE SAID PISTOL AND TAG INTO WAR BUT BURST ONE UNTIL IT WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONFISCATED BY DOUGLAS THEN THE SUSPECT IMMEDIATELY FLED GOING INTO THE DARK PLACE AT THE BACK OF THE HOUSE OF THE VICTIM AND ALSO FLED INTO THE SENSES OF THE RESPONDING POLICE PERSONNEL.  THEREAT DOUGLAS MOQUIAO TURNED OVER THE CALIBER 357 PISTOL LOADED WITH FIVE LIVE AMMOS AND ONE EMPTY SHELL INTO ITS CHAMBER THAT WAS TAKEN FROM THE POSSESSION OF THE SUSPECT, THEN A FEW MINUTES UPON THOROUGH INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED BY THE RESPONDING PNP PERSONNEL CERTAIN NESTORIA PALGAN SAJULGA, 45 YEARS OLD, HOUSEWIFE OF THE SUSPECT, APPEARED AND HAND OVER ANOTHER CALIBER 357, NO BULLETS THAT WAS ALSO OWNED BY HER HUSBAND SUSPECT MELCHOR SAJULGA.  FORTUNATELY, NO ONE WAS INJURED DURING THE COMMOTION AND THIS OFFICE CONTINUOUSLY CONDUCT MANHUNT OPERATION AGAINST THE SUSPECT AND NOW PREPARING A CASE TO BE FILED IN COURT..

SHOOTING INCIDENT

MIDSALIP - SHOOTING INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT PUROK 1, POBALACION B MIDSALIP, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AT ABOUT 7:00 PM OF FEBRUARY 22, 2017. THE VICTIM WAS IDENTIFIED AS RUSTICO CANTILANG ARNOZA, 66 YEARS OLD, SINGLE, AND EX SB MEMBER OF THIS MUNICIPALITY AND A RESIDENT OF THE AFORESAID PLACE. INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE VICTIM WAS SITTING AT THE BAMBOO CHAIR IN THE TERRACE OF HIS HOUSE HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH MARIVE MAGSIGAY BALON, 40 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, AND ALSO A RESIDENT OF THE SAME PLACE, WHEN SHOT FIVE (5) TIMES BY UNIDENTIFIED ASSAILANT HITTING THE VICTIM ON THE LEFT SIDE OF HIS ABDOMEN, LEFT THIGH AND RIGHT ANKLE. HE WAS BROUGHT TO MIDSALIP INFIRMARY HOSPITAL FOR IMMEDIATE MEDICAL TREATMENT AND SUBSEQUENTLY TRANSFERRED TO MENDERO HOSPITAL, PAGADIAN CITY FOR FURTHER MEDICAL TREATMENT. The driver of the motorized tricycle and his two passengers sustained injuries on the different parts of their bodies. They were rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for treatment. Both vehicles involved were brought to Dumalinao MPS along with the driver of the utility van for proper disposition.

AURORA - A murder suspect was nabbed in a police operation conducted by combined elements of Aurora MPS, Regional Intelligence Unit 9 and Regional Intelligence Division 9 at Sitio Samahang Nayon, Barangay Gubaan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM of February 21, 2017. The arrested suspect was identified as Ronald Perales Y Mojado a.k.a. “ONAD” (No. 2 most wanted person of Aurora MPS), 27 years old, single, resident of Barangay. Sapa Luboc, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for murder docketed under criminal case no. 12-10872 issued by Presiding Judge Jaime B. Caberte Of Rtc Branch 30, 9th Judicial Region, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur, with no bail bond recommended. He is temporarily detained at Aurora MPS waiting for a court order.

Murder Suspect Nabbed

BAYOG - Another murder suspect was arrested at Public Market in Poblacion, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:45 PM of February 21, 2017. Bayog MPS identified the suspect as Reynaldo Catane, 46 years old, married, resident of Purok 14, Barangay Poblacion, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for frustrated murder filed under criminal case no. 06-056-fm-10 issued by Judge Edilberto G. Absin of RTC 9, Branch 29, Pagadian City, with a recommended bail bond of two hundred thousand pesos (Php 200,000) for his temporary liberty. The arrested wanted person is temporarily detained at Bayog MPS waiting for a court order.

Fire Incident

SAN PABLO - Fire incident occurred at Purok Boongon, Pongapong, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:40 PM of February 20, 2017. Investigation revealed that the house owned by Susanita Boter Medico, 73 years old, widow and rented/occupied by the couple Mr. and Mrs. Constantino Carreon was razed by fire at around 9:10 PM and declared fire out at 11:00 pm of same date. Said incident happened when the couple was not in their rented house and their three (3) children left lighted a candle and accidentally/unintentionally kicked the candle while they sleep. Estimated cost of damaged was amounted (P120, 000.00) more or less.

MOLAVE - Operatives of Molave MPS conducted manhunt operation on wanted person (service of warrant) at Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:40 PM of February 20, 2017. The operation resulted to the arrest of Jhonel Sanchez, 28 years old, male, single, Trisikad driver and a resident of Purok Mars, Barangay Rizal Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. The accused was arrested by virtue of alias warrant of arrest for the crime of cattle rustling under cc# 2003-10-1319, issued by Hon. Loreto C Quinto Acting Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave on December 12, 2003 with bail recommended amounting to thirty six thousand pesos (Php36,000.00). Subject person is now temporary detained at Molave MPS awaiting court disposition.

MOLAVE - Personnel of Molave MPS conducted manhunt operation on wanted person (Service of Warrant) at Barangay Maloloy-on, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:20 PM of February 20, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Rolly Sumile, 39 years old, male, married, laborer and a resident of Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboange Del Sur. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of act of lasciviousness under cc #7259, issued by Hon. Mary Ann D. Real Jamero Presiding Judge, MTC, 9th Judicial Region, Molave Zamboanga Del Sur dated February 17, 2016 with bail recommended amounting to twelve thousand pesos (Php12,000.00). PNP PERSONNEL OF TIGBAO MPS ARE STILL CONDUCTING THOROUGH INVESTIGATION TO DETERMINE THE MOTIVE OF THE INCIDENT AND THE POSSIBLE ARREST OF THE SUSPECT.

MAHAYAG - HACKING INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT PUROK 1, BARANGAY DANIEL C MANTOS, MAHAYAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AT ABOUT 11:00 PM OF FEBRUARY 19, 2017, WHEREIN VICTIM IDENTIFIED AS JOHN REY DULAY, 26 YEARS OLD, CARETAKER OF DUCK/SWAN, SINGLE AND RESIDENT OF PUROK 2, BARANGAY CURVADA, KAPATAGAN, LANAO DEL NORTE WAS HACKED BY CERTAIN “MON-MON” TOGETHER WITH ONE (1) UNIDENTIFIED COMPANION. INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT AT AROUND 11:00 PM, THE SUSPECTS ARRIVED AT THE VICTIM’S TENT LOCATED AT THE BARANGAY ROAD OF SAID PLACE AND CALLED UP THE VICTIM TO GET OUT FROM THE TENT. WHEN THE VICTIM GOT OUT FROM HIS TENT, SUSPECTS ARMED WITH BLADED WEAPON SUDDENLY HACKED THE VICTIM HITTING ON HIS BODY BUT THE VICTIM WAS ABLE TO RAN AND SEEK FOR AN ASSISTANCE FROM HIS COMPANION AND BARANGAY TANOD OF SAID PLACE. THE VICTIM WAS IMMEDIATELY RUSHED TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL BY THE BARANGAY TANODS. THE SUSPECTS ARE NOW SUBJECT FOR MANHUNT OPERATION.

WHEREIN ONE (1) PLATOON, CHARLIE COMPANY, 53RD INFANTRY BATTALION LED BY 1LT ALCANTARA (INFANTRY) PHILIPPINE ARMY WHILE CONDUCTING OFFENSIVE COMBAT OPERATION AT AFOREMENTIONED BARANGAYS ENCOUNTERED UNDETERMINED NUMBER OF ARMED MEN BELIEVED TO BE MEMBERS OF SYP KARA, WESTERN MINDANAO REGIONAL PARTY COMMITTEE (WMRPC). THE SAID FIREFIGHT LASTED 10 MINUTES ENEMY WITHDREW TOWARDS UNKNOWN DIRECTION. DUMINGAG - SHOOTING INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT PUROK BOMBEL 2, BARANGAY SAN PEDRO, DUMINGAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AT ABOUT 9:20 AM OF FEBRUARY 18, 2017, WHEREIN VICTIM IDENTIFIED AS SSGT GEATRAS DANTE SOLO, 50 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, MEMBER OF THE PHILIPPINE ARMY, PRESENTLY ASSIGNED AT MILITARY INTELLIGENCE BATTALION (MIB), PULACAN, LABANGAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. INITIAL INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT THE VICTIM WAS WASHING HIS CLOTHES INSIDE HIS RESIDENCE, WHEN SUDDENLY THREE (3) UNIDENTIFIED SUSPECTS RIDING A SINGLE MOTORCYCLE, CAME AND SHOT THE VICTIM WITHOUT APPARENT REASON. VICTIM SUSTAINED THREE (3) GUNSHOT WOUNDS ON HIS HEAD PARTICULARLY ON HIS LEFT CHEEK, BACK PORTION OF HIS LEFT EAR AND ON HIS LEFT LEG. SUSPECTS FLED TO UNKNOWN DIRECTION AFTER THE INCIDENT. CAPTAIN OF BARANGAY SAAD, DUMINGAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AND HIS WIFE LORNA BELLANO SEÑARA, 35 YEARS OLD, BOTH RESIDENTS OF PUROK-1 BARANGAY SAAD, DUMINGAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR WERE SHOT BY UNIDENTIFIED SUSPECTS USING CAL. 45 PISTOL BASED ON THE EMPTY SHELLS RECOVERED FROM THE CRIME SCENE. INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT BOTH VICTIMS WERE WALKING ON THE STREET AT BARANGAY SAN PEDRO, DUMINGAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR NEAR DUMINGAG GYMNASIUM WHEN SUDDENLY TWO UNIDENTIFIED SUSPECTS ONBOARD SINGLE MOTORCYCLE APPEARED FROM BEHIND WITH NO APPARENT REASONS SHOOT THEM AND IMMEDIATELY FLED TO UNKNOWN DIRECTION. THE VICTIM JEFRY DUMAPANG SEÑARA SUSTAINED GUNSHOT WOUND ON THE BACK PORTION OF HIS HEAD WHILE HIS WIFE LORNA BELLANO SEÑARA ALSO SUSTAINED GUNSHOT WOUND ON HER RIGHT HIP AND WERE IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT TO MAHAYAG LTMPC HOSPITAL FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT. FIRE INCIDENT

DUMALINAO - A FIRE INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT PUROK MALIPAYON, BARANGAY PAG-ASA, DUMALINAO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR ON FEBRUARY 16, 2017, AT ABOUT 9:25 AM. WHEREIN A HOUSE MADE OF LIGHT MATERIALS OWNED BY DOMINADOR SABEL MAQUE, 52 YEARS OLD, MARRIED, A RESIDENT OF SAID PLACE WAS PARTIALLY BURNED. INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER EXPLODED AT THE KITCHEN OF HIS HOUSE WHICH WHERE THE WIRE WAS STARTED. AS A RESULT, THE KITCHEN OF HIS HOUSE WAS PARTIALLY BURNED AND FORTUNATELY NO ONE WAS HURT DURING THE INCIDENT. THE ESTIMATED COST OF DAMAGED AMOUNTED TO EIGHT THOUSAND PESOS (PHP 8,000.00).

ELECTROCUTION INCIDENT

AURORA - AN ELECTROCUTION INCIDENT TRANSPIRED AT PUROK SAN CRUZ, BRGY BALIDE, AURORA, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR.  INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT ABOUT 5:10 PM OF FEBRUARY 17, 2017, A VICTIM WAS IDENTIFIED AS RYAN LUNOR REQUINA, 21 YEARS OLD, SINGLE, A RESIDENT OF AFORESAID PLACE, WENT TO THEIR VEGETABLE GARDEN TO GATHER SOME STRING BEANS (BALATONG) NEAR THEIR HOUSE. HE DID NOT NOTICED THE DETACHED LIVE CABLE WIRE OF ZAMSURECO 1 THAT CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE BARBED WIRE USED TO SUPPORT THE STRING BEANS THAT TOUCHED HIS KNEES CAUSING HIM TO GET ELECTROCUTED. THE VICTIM SUSTAINED BLISTERS ON HIS BOTH LEGS AND IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT TO AURORA COMMUNITY (ACE) HOSPITAL, AT BARANGAY CABILINAN, AURORA, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, BUT PRONOUNCED DEAD ON ARRIVAL BY THE ATTENDING PHYSICIAN.

INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT SAID TANKER TRUCK WAS TRAVERSING FROM IPIL, ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY PROVINCE BOUND TO OZAMIS CITY, WHILE THE ABOVE-MENTIONED SINGLE MC WAS TRAVERSING FROM BARANGAY CAMANGA, DUMALINAO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR BOUND TO BARANGAY CAMALIG OF SAME MUNICIPALITY, UPON REACHING AT THE INTERSECTION OF NATIONAL HIGHWAY OF PUROK TALABA, BARANGAY CAMANGA, DUMALINAO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, THE SAID SINGLE MC SUDDENLY CROSSED THE ROAD AND ACCIDENTALLY BUMPED THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TANKER TRUCK WHICH WAS RUNNING AHEAD. AS A RESULT, THE BACK RIDER OF SINGLE MC SUSTAINED SERIOUS INJURY ON HIS HEAD THAT RESULTED TO HIS INSTANTANEOUS DEATH, WHILE THE DRIVER OF SINGLE MC SUSTAINED INJURY ON THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF HIS BODY AND WAS RUSHED TO ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR MEDICAL CENTER FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT. Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO - Vehicular accident transpired at about 6:00 PM of February 15, 2017 at Purok Upper Donggoan, Barangay Rebokon Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. Wherein one Jeoff Nemenzo Salundro, 4 years old, was accidentally bumped by a single motorcycle. initial investigation conducted disclosed that one single motorcycle sky go, color blue, with plate no. 090108, and driven by Warlito Ramirez Soñega, 33 years old, married, resident of Barangay Songgoy, San Pablo, was traversing from Pagadian City bound to San Pablo, upon reaching at the abovementioned place, allegedly, said victim suddenly crossed the road and bumped by the said single motorcycle. The victim was brought by the responding ambulance to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City for medical treatment, while the driver together with his driven single motorcycle is now under the custody of Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

The operation resulted to the arrest Maevelle Jean Napeñas, 17 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy Buloron, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of qualified thief under cc no. 2016-10-3227 issued by Hon. Judge Jaime B. Caberte with bail bond recommended amounted to php60,000.00. Accused is now temporarily detained at said police station for proper disposition.

Campaign against illegal Gambling

PAGADIAN CITY - Operatives of Pagadian city police station conducted operation against illegal gambling locally known as “tong-its” at Purok Bougainvilla, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:0 PM of February 16, 2017. The operating team noticed nine (9) persons playing an illegal card games locally known as “tong-its” with bet money on the table. This led to the arrest of seven (7) persons identified as Julieto Martillas Caseñas, 62 Years Old, Male, Married, Alberto Caballero Dela Fuente Jr, 56 Years Old, Widow, Narciso Caballero Limbaga, 58 Years Old, Married, Jaime Bautista Cababaro, 66 Years Old, Married, All Are  Residents Of Purok Bougainvillea, San Pedro, Pagadian City, Leonardo Caballero Purgosa, 57 Years Old, Widow, A Resident Of Purok Hini-Usa, Barangay Lumbia, Pagadain City, Michael Sanson Bacang,  49 Years Old, Married, A Resident Of Purok Lacturan, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City, And Loraine Mangubat Casil, 37 year old, single, and a resident of Purok San Fransico, Pagadian City while the two others was able to elude arrest. Confiscated items were three (3) sets of playing cards and bet money in different denomination amounting to P127.00. Arrested person is now temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS for proper disposition..

Theft Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Theft incident took place at the rented room of Melody Dique Dacumos at Enerio Street, Balangasan, Pagadian City. Investigation disclosed that victim Melody Dique Dacumos was sleeping inside her rented room of the above-mentioned place. The suspect discreetly entered the room which was left unlocked at around 4:30 AM of February 15, 2017. Suspect carted away the following, to wit: cellular phone iPhone 5s, wallet containing cash amount of six thousand pesos (₱ 6,000.00) and back pack bag.  Personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted thorough investigation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspect.

Robbery Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Robbery incident occurred at the boarding house of Jenefer T Anub at Salazar Street, Balangasan, Pagadian City. Investigation disclosed that victim identified as Jenefer T. Anub was sleeping inside her rented room of the above-mentioned place, when suspect discreetly entered the room which was left unlock around 4:30 am of February 15, 2017. Suspect carted away the following: one (1) unit HP split laptop (12”) estimated worth thirty thousand pesos (₱30,000.00); one (1) unit pavilion g-series laptop (12”) estimated worth twenty thousand pesos (₱ 20,000.00); and  gray hp laptop backpack bag. Personnel of Pagadian City Police Station now conducted thorough investigation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspect.

Niño, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 AM of February 15, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Pablo Camingaw Diala Jr., 33 years old, married a resident of said place. Said suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Analyn F Ramas-Costanilla, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur dated January 23, 2017, docketed under criminal case # 16- 10, 1282 to 16-10,1296 for the crime of rape (15 counts) with no bail recommended. Arrested person is now temporarily detained at said police station awaiting court order.

The operation resulted to the arrest of Charlie Dag-Uman Rivera, 30 years old, single and resident of Purok Nam-Ay, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of theft of minerals, docketed under criminal case number 16-cr-4711-b, issued by Hon. Ymphna C. Gozon-Labindao, Presiding Judge, 1st MCTC, San Francisco–Rosario-Bunawan, San Francisco, Agusan Del Sur Dated January 4, 2017 with bail bond recommended of twelve thousand pesos (₱12,000.00). PAGADIAN CITY - A 35-man was arrested at about 8:30 AM of February 15, 2017 at Barangay Lingcoan, Tangcal, Lanao Del Norte. Arrested was Arturo Amaro Tam-Is, Jr., 35 years old, married presently residing at Barangay Benwar, Tangcal, Lanao Del Norte. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of carnapping docketed under criminal case no. 13152-2016 dated October 14, 2016 issued by Judge Romeo T Descallar of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 19, Pagadian City with the recommended bail bond of one hundred eighty thousand pesos (₱180,000.00). Suspect has standing warrant of arrest issued by Hon Judge Rolando L Goan, Rtc 9 Branch 21, Pagadian City, for the crime of frustrated murder docketed under criminal case number 11412-2k14 with recommended bail bond amounted to Php 200,000.00. recovered from the his position were: one (1) unit kg 99 caliber 9mm luger, ten (10) live ammunitions of same caliber and one (1) unit silencer of kg 99, a sling bag containing one (1) m61 fragmentation grenade, digital weighing scale and cellophane used to pack sachets of shabu. Homicide Suspect Surrendered to Pagadian City Police

PAGADIAN CITY - The person of PO1 Rolito O Sinajon, 30 years old, married, presently assigned at Pagadian CPS and a resident of Alano Street, Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur voluntarily surrendered to Pagadian CPS at about 8:25 AM of February 7, 2017. The subject person has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of homicide docketed under criminal case number 13290-2017, issued by Hon. Benjamin R Lanzaderas, Acting Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 21, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. the accused immediately put up a bail worth of forty thousand pesos (₱40,000.00) for his temporary liberty. Said case is the counter case of the relatives of late Junjie Babao Oberez who stabbed PO1 Rolito Sinajon during police intervention that prompted the said police officer to shot the suspect that resulted to his untimely death last October 22, 2016 at about 8:30 PM.

Theft Suspect Arrested

DIMATALING - A suspect of theft incident was arrested at Purok 3, Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:30 AM of February 7, 2017. The arrested suspect was identified as Kamar Kuta Gumanding, 36 years old, married a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Mahayag, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur and recovered from his possession a fishnet more or less fifteen (15) meters owned by Rubin Samlani Samli, a resident of said place. Arrested suspect is temporarily detained at Dimataling MPS for proper disposition.

Service of Search Warrant

KUMALARANG - Combined police operation on the service of search warrant was conducted by elements of CIDG-ZDS, CIDG-ZDN, HPG-ZDS, ZSPPSC and Kumalarang MPS at Purok Waling-Waling, Sitio Laya, And Sitio Togop, Barangay Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur on February 7, 2017 at about 4:35 AM. The search warrant number 01-2k17 for illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions was implemented against Abu Kahal Ali (at large) and successfully recovered the following items: one (1) unit improvised homemade shotgun, one (1) pouch bandolier for caliber .30mm, one (1) holster. The search warrants number 02-2k17 for illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions was implemented against Mannan Abubacar Puasa resulted in negative confiscation. the search warrant number 03-2k17 and 04-2k17 for illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions was implemented against Tapsen Tawap Ali (at large) and successfully recovered the following items: one (1) unit caliber .45 colt combat commander with serial number 706172962, one (1) unit kg 9 luger 9mm with serial number 504315, one (1) unit kg9 colt ar15 9mm with serial number 725839, eight (8) rounds ammunitions for caliber .45 to (2) pieces magazines assembly for caliber .45, one (1) holster bag color black, forty five (45) rounds ammunition for caliber .99mm, three (3) pieces long magazines for caliber .9mm and one (1) unit homemade shotgun. During the search, query was made relative to the possession of firearms and ammunitions yet subjects persons are not around at their respective residence and the occupants are requested to produce legal documents of the said firearms but to no avail. The confiscated firearms are under the custody of CIDG-ZDS while a case for violation of RA 10591 is being prepared against the aforementioned owners of firearms for immediate filing in court.
