Shooting Incident

PITOGO - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 6, Sitio Upper Panaga, Barangay Sugbay Dos, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 PM of February 6, 2017. Wherein victim Jimmy Duminguez Gomes, 53 years old, married, farmer and a resident of said place was shot by an unidentified suspect using undetermined caliber of firearm.  As a result, victim sustained gunshot wound on his body and was brought to Pitogo Rural Health Center for immediate medical treatment, while suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. PNP personnel of Pitogo MPS is still conducting thorough investigation and follow up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspect.

Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident

TIGBAO - Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired at National Highway of Purok2, BarangayMaragang, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur on February 6, 2017 at about 6:00 PM. The vehicle involved described as : one (1) single MC Honda XRM 125, no plate number and driven by Alvin Escoton, 22 years old, single and resident of Barangay Lacupayan, Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur ; and One (1) Motorcycle with side car, Kawasaki Barako 150, bearing plate number 9385JG, registered under the name of Alvin Ang  with complete address at  Mervin, Rizal Avenue, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur and driven by Benjur Bustamante Apdo, 26 years old, security guard of Woodtech with postal address of Brgy. Guba, Clarin, Misamis Occidental equipped with non-professional driver’s license no. J03-11-0046889, together with six (6) his passengers/co-workers of Wood tech, namely : Roger Mayor; Samuel Mapano; Roldan Paborada; Romeo Gonzaga; Johnrel Mayor ; and ConradoMaglangit Jr., all residents of Barangay Tigbao, Tigbao Zamboanga Del Sur. As a result, the driver of Single MC Honda XRM 125 sustained serious physical injury on his body and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment, while the driver of the Kawasaki Barako150 together with his six (6) passengers/co-workers sustained minor physical injuries. Unfortunately, the driver of single MC Honda XRM 125 was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.  The single MC XRM 125 incurred heavy damages and brought to Tigbao MPS for safekeeping and proper disposition, while the Kawasaki Barako150 incurred light damages and temporarily impounded at Barangay Maragang for safekeeping and to be transferred at Tigbao MPS for proper disposition.

Wherein single mc Honda XRM 125, no plate number and driven by Alvin Escoton, 22 years old, single and resident of Barangay Lacupayan, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur and motorcycle with Side Car, Kawasaki Barako 150, bearing plate number 9385JG, driven by Benjur Bustamante Apdo, 26 years old, security guard of Woodtech with postal address of Barangay Guba, Clarin, Misamis Occidental with six (6) passengers/co-workers of wood tech, namely : Roger Mayor; Samuel Mapano; Roldan Paborada; Romeo Gonzaga; Johnrel Mayor ; And Conrado Maglangit Jr., all residents of Barangay Tigbao, Tigbao Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that mc Kawasaki barako 150 was traversing at national highway of Brgy. Motosawa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur coming from wood tech of the above-mentioned place. upon reaching at the descending blind curve lane of the aforementioned place of accident, the single mc Honda XRM 125 coming from the opposite lane swerved to the wrong lane and accidentally bumped to the left portion of said Kawasaki barako150. As a result, the driver of single mc honda xrm 125 sustained serious physical injury and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment, while the driver of the Kawasaki barako 150 together with his six (6) passengers/co-workers sustained minor physical injuries. Unfortunately, the driver of single mc Honda xrm 125 was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. The single mc xrm 125 incurred heavy damages and brought to tigbao mps for safekeeping and proper disposition, while the Kawasaki barako150 incurred light damages and temporarily impounded at barangay maragang for safekeeping and to be transferred at Tigbao MPS for proper disposition.

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS

Arrest of Wanted Person

SAN PABLO - Personnel of San Pablo MPS led by Psi Reynante B Benitez, officer in-charge, conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok Roseville, Barangay Poblacion, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:00 PM on February 6, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of Edgar Aucejo Sales, 55 years old, married and a resident of Purok Roseville, Barangay Poblacion, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with frustrated murder, docketed under criminal case number 9819-2k10, issued by Ernesto Mve Laurel, Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City with no bail bond recommended. Subject person is presently detained at San Pablo MPS awaiting court disposition.

Campaign against illegal Gambling

PAGADIAN CITY - The Intelligence Operative of Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office successfully arrested one Bernardo Curpoz and Alfredo Kellohano, both of legal ages at Purok Pagatpat 1, Barangay Santa Lucia, Pagadian City at about 6:30 in the evening of February 6, 2017 for their alleged involvement in Illegal Numbers Game otherwise known as “Swertres”. Moreover, confiscated from the possession of the suspects were eleven (11) luckytres paraphernalia, and the One Thousand Eighty Pesos (Php1, 080.00) cash in different denominations.  Arrested suspects are now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station while a case for Violation of RA 9287 has already been filed at the City Prosecution Office, Pagadian City with docket number IX-15-INQ-17B-00016, dated February 7, 2017.
