Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Mahigala-on, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City at about 5:24 PM of February 1, 2017 wherein victim was identified as Edwin Ligason Y Ito, Filipino, 43 years old, male, married, regular employee of ZAMSURECO 1 and a resident of Purok Madasigon, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City was waylaid by two (2) male suspects riding in tandem on a black Honda XRM125 single motorcycle and subsequently the back rider shot the victim twice. Victim sustained gunshot wound on his left head and left neck. After the incident, suspects fled towards high grade portion of Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City. The victim was then brought by the first responder PO3 Elmo Elarmo of Zamboanga Sibugay PPO, PIDMB to Pagadian Doctors Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending Physician Dr. Leothy Dela Cruz. The crime scene was then processed by the SOCO team of ZDS Provincial Crime Laboratory of Zamboanga del Sur. During the crime scene search, the said team was able to recover two (2) pieces fired cartridge cases of caliber .45.2.

Shooting Incident

DUMINGAG - An alleged shooting incident transpired along JHCSC road of Barangay Caridad, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:30 PM of February 1, 2017, wherein the victim was identified as one Garry Palania y Tubal, 19 years old, single, first year criminology student of JHCSC Dumingag Campus and a resident of Barangay Lampasan, Don Victoriano Misamis Occidental, was allegedly shot by unidentified perpetrator using unknown type of caliber while walking headed towards his boarding house. The Victim sustained one through and through gunshot wounds on his left leg. The suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. Motive of the incident is yet to be determined.
