Shooting Incident
LAKEWOOD - Shooting
incident transpired at Purok-8, Brgy. Tubod, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur at
about 3:45 PM of June 10, 2017, wherein victim identified as Rudy Hatad Herrera,
42 years old, farmer and a resident of aforesaid place was shot by Danilo Banda
Abanan, 22 years old, student, and a resident of Purok-1, Barangay Baking,
Lakewood. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim having a drinking
spree and suspect was urinating at the back of the house of victim, victim took
his caliber 45 pistol and pointed the gun to the suspect however, same was able
to hold the hand of the victim and twisted pointing to the victim hitting at
his stomach and was brought by his relatives to Pagadian City Hospital for
immediate medical treatment. Suspect was arrested by the responding PNP personnel
of Lake Wood MPS and presently detained at said station for proper disposition.
Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Investigator-on-case PO3

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS
Operation against Illegal Fishing
SAN PABLO - Operatives of San Pablo MPS, BFAR and Bantay Dagat Members of San Pablo Municipality conducted operation
against illegal fishing along municipal sea water of San Pablo, Zamboanga Del
Sur at about 4:00 AM of June 10, 2017. This led to the apprehension of fishing
boat named M/V Kesia color yellow, operated by Esjoe Dela Torre, legal age of San
Pedro, Pagadian City was caught in the act catching a fish within san pablo sea
water and violating the Municipal Ordinance stated at RA 8550 as amended of RA 10654
sec 18. Arrested subject person was released after paying the corresponding
penalty to the office of the Municipal Treasurers Office.
Project Double Barrel
MARGOSATUBIG - Combined operatives of Drug
Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga Sibugay Police Office and Margosatubig MPS conducted
drug buy-bust operation at Purok Sunflower, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig,
Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM of June 10, 2017. The operation resulted to
the arrest of Rex Majid Sawi, 26 years old, fisherman, married and a resident
of Purok Sunflower, Brgy. Poblacion, Margosatubig. Recovered from his
possession were: three (03) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet
containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu estimated weight
(.09 grams) with market value of (1,500.00) and one (01) piece five hundred
peso bill with sn number ad643645 as buy bust money. He is presently detained
at Margosatubig MPS for filing appropriate charges in court.
