Shooting Incident
SAN PABLO - Shooting
incident occurred at about 8:00 PM of June 18, 2017 at Barangay Teniapan, San
Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation disclosed that Sergio Palubag,
46 years old, married, a resident of aforesaid place was seen carrying a
caliber .38 revolvers going to the house of a certain Justino Borinaga and
fired thereat that prompted Rey Borinaga son of Justino Borinaga to retaliate
using unknown caliber of firearm. Right after the incident Sergio Palubag went
home and Rey Borinaga fled away towards unknown direction. Motive of the
incident is believed to be a personal grudge. Responding PNP personnel
conducted hot pursuit operation against Sergio Palubag And Rey Borinaga for
their possible arrest, fortunately, Sergio Palubag arrested at his residence
and confiscated from his possession one (1) unit caliber .38 revolver with
deface serial number with no ammunition. Elements noticed that the suspect had
a blood on his clothes. Accordingly he was hit on his waistline and butt during
their gunfight with Rey Borinaga. Immediately Sergio Palubag was brought to Municipal
Health Center of San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur for treatment. moreover, at about
10:00 pm of the same date while waiting the ambulance to transport the victim
to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, the victim run and jump at the back
portion of the vehicle of San Pablo MPS. Personnel of San Pablo MPS conducted
manhunt operation against Sergio Palubag and at about 6:00 AM of June 19, 2017,
Freddie Gonzales reported to San Pablo MPS that unidentified cadaver was
discovered at the rice field own by Macmud family At Barangay Poblacion, San
Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur and identified the cadaver as Sergio Palubag.
Report On Turn-Over of Thirteen (13) Members
of the Maute Group
PAGADIAN CITY - Please
be informed that on June 19, 2017 at about 3:50 AM, elements of Pagadian CPS together
with members of the Criminal Investigation Detection Group (CIDG), 53rd Infantry
(Matapat) Battalion, Philippine Army and Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC)
escorted and turn-over the thirteen (13) alleged Maute members in which two (2)
of them were positive on paraffin examination conducted by the provincial crime
laboratory per chemistry report number c-038-2017 dated June 17, 2017. The
paraffin examination of on the living person/patient Junaid A Dimarugong Aka
Ameodin Ameril, gave positive results on gunpowder nitrates, and chemistry
report number c-039-2017 on subject Halil Saliling Ali, also gave positive
result. The Maute members were turned-over to the 4th Infantry Division,
