REPORTED INCIDENTS -From July 14-15, 2014

PRESS RELEASE 

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON

On or about 7:00 in the morning of July 14, 2014 at Barangay Lower Sambulawan, Ramon Magsaysay Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Ramon Magsaysay Police Station led by PSInsp Jeremias P Soreno, COP proceeded of the above mentioned place to effect the warrant of arrest which resulted to the arrest of one (1) Alma Mansalinog Y Torres, female, 55 years old, married a resident of Barangay Lower Sambulawan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. accused was arrested by virtue of warrant  of arrest  issued by Hon Celestino V Dicon, Acting MCTC Judges of 10th  MCTC, Ramon Magsaysay, Sominot, and Midsalip Zamboanga Del Sur for the crime of slander docketed in criminal case nr RM-2813 dated  June 21, 2000. Accused is now temporary detained at Ramon Magsaysay Police Station lock-up cell for safekeeping and awating the court order for proper disposition..

On or about 10:30 in the morning of July 14, 2014 at Mhars General Hospital, Maningcol, Ozamis City. PNP elements of Mahayag Police Station led by  PSInsp Homer Tragico Dumalag, COP proceeded to the above mentioned place to effect the warrant of arrest of the accused wanted person which resulted to the successful arrest of one (1) Demetrio Trazona for the crime of Murder with criminal case number 2013-10-2663 issued by Jaime B Caberte Presiding Judge of Ninth Judicial Region Branch 23, Molave Zamboanga Del Sur. accused is now temporary detained at Mahayag Police Station lock-up cell while awating the court order for proper disposition.

SHOOTING INCIDENT 

On or about 9:54 in the evening of July 15, 2014, one (1) Andy Naciongayo Y Marcial, 23 years old, single and a resident of Sebucao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur reported to Dumalinao Police Station that he saw a person lying on the road bathed with blood at the national highway of Purok Malipayon, Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur while riding on a passenger tricycle from Pagadian City bound for Dumalinao. PNP elements of Dumalinao Police Station led by PO3 Dennis Canalija proceeded to the said place to conduct investigation. initial investigation disclosed that one unidentified victim, male, long hair, wearing white sleeveless with marking “Starflex” with black jacket, white short pants, estimated to be 5’3” to 5’4” in height and  aging between 23 to 25 years old. No personal belongings recovered except (1) piece of face towel inserted on right pocket and (1) piece of lighter on left pocket and victim was in barefoot. victim sustained (1) gunshot wound on the head proximal to right ear, one (1) gunshot wound on right jaw,  and (4) gunshot wound on his back that resulted to his untimely death. Responding PNP elements recovered from the crime scene were six (devil) fire cartridge case, (1) live ammos of cal.45 pistol and (1) slug. further investigation disclosed as per statement of one (1) Andy Naciongayo -first person to informed Dumalinao Police Station that upon reaching the area they saw a single motorcycle Kawasaki Rouser color black, accelerating fast from the crime scene bound for Pagadian City and collaborated with the statement of one (1) eric dela torre residing near the area that he able to hear six (devil) gun burst and he heard a full engine revolution of motorcycle hurriedly leaving the area. Victim’s dead body was fetched by Gamalinda funeral homes, Pagadian City. Dumalinao Police Station is still conducting follow-up investigation to identify the victim as well as to ascertain the motive of the killing and the identity of the suspect.

On or about 10:30 in the evening of July 15, 2014 at Datoc St, Corner Jamisola St, Sta Lucia, Pagadian City wherein victims identified as Danilo Cubatcha Y Balendres, 39 years old, male, married, garbage collector and Segfred Torres Y Dabin, 36 years old, married, construction worker, both a resident of Purok Bagong Silang, Balangasan, Pagadian City was shot by two (2) unidentified suspects on board unknown type of single motorcycle. Initial investigation conducted by Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that the aforesaid victims were riding on a single motorcycle Kawasaki Rouser. color black with plate number JU 5809 and upon reaching at the abovementioned place, were waylaid by two (2) unidentified suspect onboard unknown type of single mc and shot them with the used of unknown caliber of firearms. victim Danilo Cubatcha who was the back rider sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body that resulted to his untimely death, while victim Segfred who was the driver sustained two (2) gunshot wounds one on his back and one on his left arm and rushed to Jamellarin Hospital for immediate medication pd suspects fled to unknown direction after the incident. Responding team recovered two slugs of unknown caliber of firearms found at the crime scene and now under the custody of Pagadian City Police Station to be turn over to PCLO for ballistic examination. Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting follow dash up investigation for possible identification of the suspect as well as to know the motive of the incident. CAMPAIGN AGAINST LOOSE FAS AND AMMUNITIONS

On or about 3:00 in the afternoon of July 15, 2014, joint elements of Pitogo Police Station led by PInsp Edwin Impil Lumingo, DCOP and elements of 53rd IB, PA conducted checkpoint operation along provincial road, Barangay Sugbay Dos, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur and successfully arrested one (1) Roche Ponce Y Gapor, 30 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok Waling-waling, Barangay New Oroquita, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur. confiscated from his possession and control one (1) unit caliber .45 colt MK IV pistol, bearing serial no. 989178, one (1) magazine with seven (7) live ammunitions of same caliber and one (1) Honda Xrm 125 single motorcycle. Subject person failed to present legal docs authorizing him to possess firearm. Arrested suspect is now temporary detained at Pitogo Police Station locked-up cell for proper disposition while appropriate case is now being prepared for immediate filing in court.

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON

On or about 1:30 in the afternoon of July 15, 2014, joint PNP elements of Molave Police Station led by PO3 Abraham Apat Jr., intelligence operatives and elements of pib, zsppo led by po3 philip apat conducted joint manhunt operation at Magsaysay St., Barangay Maloloy-On, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the arrest of Joy Ann Curayag Y Labisto, 38 years old, married and a resident of Magsaysay St., Barangay Maloloy-On, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of Estafa docketed under criminal case nr 2010-10-2228, issued by  Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur, dated April 25, 2011 with bail bond recommended of Forty Thousand Pesos (Php 40,000.00). Subject person is now temporary detained at Molave Police Station locked-up cell awaiting commitment order from the court for proper disposition.

On or about 9:00 in the evening of July 15, 2014, PNP elements of Tukuran Police Station led by SPO1 Oliver Fegarido Cimafranca, warrant server successfully arrested one (1) Jonna Sabayle Y Tanjay, 23 years old, married, housewife and a resident of Purok Panaghiusa, Barangay Panduma Sr., Tukuran Zamboanga Del Sur. subject person was arrested at his residence by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Qualified Theft, docketed under criminal case nr q-14-02478, issued by Presiding Judge Rosa M. Samson of RTC Branch 105, National Capital Judicial Region, Quezon City, dated  March 26, 2014. Recommended bail bond for his temporary liberty was fixed at Forty Four Thousand Pesos (Php44, 000.00). Subject accused is now temporary detained at Tukuran Police Station locked-up cell awaiting commitment order from the court for proper disposition.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS

On or about 11:20 in the evening of July 12, 20014 at Purok 2 Barangay Bacahan, Midsalip Zamboanga Del Sur and suspect arrested identified as one Marlon Maglinao Dayaday. an inquest case has already been filed against the suspect before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, Pagadian City docketed in is no IX-09-INQ-14F-00134 and subsequently filed  at the Regional Trial Court  Branch 30 Of Aurora,  Zamboanga Del Sur  docketed in criminal  case number 1410,1088 for violation in sec 11, art II of R.A. 9165 “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act” with bail bond  recommended of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 200 ,000.00) and criminal case no.14-10,1089 for violation  of sec 5, art II of R.A. 9165 with no bail bond recommended. Suspect is now awaiting commitment order from the issuing court for proper disposition.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS

On or about 5:05 in the afternoon of July 15, 2014, PNP elements Of Mahayag Police Station led by PInsp Melvin Maglangit, DCOP conducted a drug buy-bust operation at Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur and successfully arrested one (1) Raymundo Sarabia Amores Jr., aka ”norton”, 22 years old, with live-in partner, laborer and a resident of Purok 4, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur who was actively engaging sealing of illegal drugs at the aforesaid place. Confiscated from his possession and control were five (5) pcs small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, five (5) pcs rolled aluminum foil and three (3) pcs one hundred peso bill used as marked money. Arrested suspect is now temp detained at Mahayag Police Station locked-up cell for proper disposition while appropriate case is now being prepared for immediate filing in court.

RECOVERY OF UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE

On or about 9:00 in the morning of July 15, 2014, Labangan Police Station received a cellphone call from one (1) Mohibat Pagayao, Barangay Chairman of Barangay Old Labangan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur informing that one (1) hand grenade was found by Jerry Mark Villagonzalo, of legal age and a resident of Purok Liplipan, Barangay Old Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP team led by PInsp David Amil Pintado, OIC, proceeded to the said place to verify the veracity of the report. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the hand grenade was found at the sea side, situated at Purok Liplipan, Barangay Old Labangan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. recovered hand grenade is now in the custody of Labangan Police Station for safekeeping and to be turned-over to the EOD Team for proper disposition.
