Hacking
incident occurred at about 5:00 PM November 6, 2014 at Purok 6, Barangay
Songgoy, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Emiliano
Salomon Teli, 65 years old, married, farmer and a resident of the aforesaid
place. He was stabbed by a certain Gabriel Teli Digan, of legal age, single,
farmer, also a resident of same place. The victim sustained hack wound on his
neck with the use of a bladed weapon that caused his untimely death while the
suspect fled to unknown after the commission of the crime. The motive of the
incident is believed to be personal grudge. The San Pablo MPS is now conducting
follow - up investigation and hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the
fleeing suspect.
Motorcycle Stolen in Mahayag
A
motorcycle was reportedly stolen at about 6:13 AM November 6, 2014 in Barangay
Panagaan, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. Said motorcycle was Honda XRM 125 black
and white combination with plate number 7090 JM register under the name of
Michael Orbeta which is now owned by Judith Taniola Y Ramos. initial
investigation conducted revealed that said motorcycle was kept/parked inside
the kitchen of the owner’s house secured with a chain and padlock, however, the
suspects forcibly cut the chain with used of believed to be a bolt cutter. The
personnel of Mahayag MPS are now conducting thorough and discreet investigation
for possible identification and arrest of the suspects.
CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL GAMBLING
On or
about 4:45 in the afternoon of November 06, 2014, PNP elements of Dumingag
Police Station led by PO1 Jessie Rey Cabahug, upon the direction of PSInsp
Heterence Desamparado Abraham, COP proceeded to Barangay Caridad, Dumingag, Zamboanga
Del Sur and conducted anti-illegal gambling operation that resulted to the
arrest of the following suspects identified as: Juelito Mangatol Capa; Ramel
Alperez Saragene; Ryan Sahube Albios; Samuel Balucan Salibay; Alden Torres
Ganzan; Arnold Labrado Mainit; and Rodel Nguno Gantunok, all of legal age and
resident of Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur. subject persons were caught in the act
of playing Cara Y Cruz or locally known as “Hantak”. Confiscated from their
possession and control are the following: one (1) piece of slab made of
concrete used in illegal Cara Y Cruz game; three (3) pcs one peso coins used as
toss coins; bet money worth One Hundred Twenty Pesos (Php 120.00); one (1) set
of cards; and amount of One Hundred Thirty Pesos (Php 130.00) as bet money. a appropriate case for violation of PD 1602 was already filed
before the MCTC, 9th Judicial Region,
Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under criminal case number 4986 dated November 07, 2014. Subject persons
were temporarily detained at Dumingag Police Station locked-up cell awaiting
court disposition
SHOOTING INCIDENT IN LABANGAN
On or
about 1:10 in the afternoon of November 07, 2014, Labangan Police Station
received a cellular phone call from Hon. Alex Guingania, Barangay Chairman of
Tawagan Norte, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur informing that a shooting incident
transpired at Purok Gudaway, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein
victim identified as Samaon Sugadol Y
Lidasan, legal age, resident of said place was shot by an unidentified suspects
using caliber 45 pistol based on the two (2) recovered fired cartridge case of
same caliber from the crime scene. PNP elements of Labangan Police Station led
by PInsp Junar Yap, DCOP proceeded to the reported place of incident purposely
to verify the veracity of said report and conduct investigation if affirmative.
initial investigation conducted by Labangan Police Station disclosed that on or
about 1:00 in the afternoon of same date, said victim was driving his single
motorcycle traversing from Barangay Dalapang
going to Barangay Tulawas, all of Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur when
tailed/followed by an unidentified riding criminals and upon reaching at the
abovementioned place was suddenly shot
several times. As a result, victim sustained gunshot wounds on the different
parts of his body and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for
immediate medical treatment by a concerned citizen of said place. Suspects
immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident onboard on an
undetermined type of single motorcycle. PNP elements of Labangan Police Station
conducted a follow-up investigation for the possible identity and arrest of
suspects. Evidence recovered from the crime scene will be turned-over to
provincial crime laboratory for ballistic examination.
IN DINAS
On or about 10:00 in the morning of November
072014 at Purok Cacal, Barangay Benuatan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein
victim identified as Ruel Winceslao Y Pitogo, 24 years old, single, resident of
Barangay Sugbay Dos, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot to death by an
unidentified suspect using caliber 45 pistol based on the two (2) recovered
fired cartridge of same caliber from the crime scene. Investigation conducted
by Dinas Police Station disclosed that said victim together with his
unidentified companion/back rider were onboard on a single motorcycle
traversing going to Barangay Benuatan,
Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur and upon reaching at Purok Calcal, Barangay Benuatan
particularly at the bamboo bridge, said victim along with his back
rider/companion temporarily stopped/disembarked from their driven single
motorcycle and walked towards near the river particularly at the bamboo bridge
of the aforementioned place when an unidentified suspect who was armed with
caliber 45 pistol suddenly approached them and without any apparent reason shot them several times. As a result, victim
Ruel Winceslao Y Pitogo sustained gunshot wounds on the different parts of his
body that resulted to his untimely death while his companion/back rider was not
hit and able to run for his life. Suspect immediately fled to unknown direction
after the incident while responding PNP elements of Dinas Police Station led by
PSInsp Ardee Oliver Solis Oliveros together with PPSC personnel led by PInsp
Jake Capitly recovered one (1) unit cellular phone, one (1) small pouch owned by the victim containing One Hundred
Thirty Pesos (Php 130,00), one (1) transparent plastic sachet containing white
crystalline substance believed to be shabu, three (3) aluminum foils, one (1)
unit single motorcycle Honda Xrm from the crime scene. PNP elements of Dinas
Police Station conducted a follow-up investigation for the possible identity
and arrest of suspect. Investigator on case is PO1 Dale Jabagat Canalija with
