SHOOTING INCIDENT IN PAGADIAN CITY
SHOOTING INCIDENT IN PAGADIAN CITY
On or about 4:40 in the afternoon of November 19,
2014 at Duterte Street, Corner Pulmones Street, Barangay Sta. Lucia District,
Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. a shooting incident transpired wherein victim
was identified as Jeffrey Caballes Y Hemoncala, 25 years old, tricycle driver
by occupation and resident of Purok Villarin, Barangay Banale Of Pagadian City
was shot several times by two (2) unidentified riding criminals onboard on a
single motorcycle Honda XRM, color red with black combination with no plate
number. investigation conducted by Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that
said victim was driving his passenger tricycle at the abovementioned place when
tailed/followed by two (2) unidentified riding criminals onboard on said
motorcycle and suddenly the back rider of same pulled out a caliber 45 pistol
and shot the victim several times in
close range. As a result, victim sustained gunshot wounds on the left portion
of his jaw, right portion of his neck, left shoulder and chest and same was
rushed to Borbon Hospital Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment.
Suspects fled to unknown direction after the incident onboard on the
abovementioned motorcycle as their getaway vehicle. PNP elements of Pagadian
City Police Station conducted a follow-up operation for the possible identity
and arrest of suspects as well as to determine the motive of the incident.
Evidence recovered from the crime scene were: five (5) fired cartridge case of
caliber 45 pistol and one (1) deformed slug of same caliber and for subsequent submission
to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for ballistic examination. Investigator

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL FISHING IN MARGOSATUBIG
On or about 10:15 in the morning of
November 19, 2014, PNP elements of Margosatubig Police Station led by PSInsp
Jonathan Presto Lladoc, COP in coordination with honorable Roy Espitacion
Encallado, local chief executive of Margosatubig Municipality conducted
seaborne patrol at the sea waters of Dumanquillas Bay, Margosatubig, Zamboanga
Del Sur that resulted to the arrest of the following suspect: Bernardino
Candilanza Y Ubag, 48 years old, single, fisherman,
male, and a resident of Purok
Bougamel, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur; Julie Romero Y Candilanza, 39 years old, single,
fisherman, male and a resident of
same place; and Cresencio Taboso Y
Candelanza, 37 years old, single,
fisherman, male, Filipino, and also resident of
same place. Subject persons were caught in the act of illegally engaged
in illegal fishing or locally as “baling-baling” at the aforementioned sea
waters and same were temporarily detained at Margosatubig Police Station
locked-up cell while a case for violation of Municipal Ordinance Number 01-98
for illegal fishing within the fish sanctuary of said municipality was being
prepared for filing in court. Confiscated fishing paraphernalia’s were turned
over to Mrs. Flordaliza Achumbre
Saladaga, fisheries technician of said municipality for proper disposition.
ARRESTED WANTED PERSON IN
PAGADIAN CITY
On or about 9:30 in the morning of November 19, 2014, joint
PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station led by PInsp Avelmar Renan
Garambas, Deputy Intelligence Officer together with PSInsp Rommel Gabriel
Etbew, Chief PAIDSOFT, all under the direction of PSupt Glenn Macario Dulawan,
COP proceeded to Purok Golden Shower, Sta. Lucia District, Pagadian City and
arrested one (1) Saidar Gampong Y Canoy, 31 years old, male, married, resident
of Purok Quarry, Barangay New Labangan,
Zamboanga Del Sur. subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest
for violation of section 11 of article 2 of republic act 9165,
docketed under criminal case nr
9547 issued by Rolando L Goan,
Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court 9, Branch 21, Pagadian City, Zamboanga
Del Sur. Further, during the arrest of the aforesaid suspect confiscated from
his possession and control are the following: two (2) heat sealed transparent
plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; two
(2) units’ cellphone nokia 2700 classic without battery and nokia 301 dual sim.
The confiscated drugs were found inside the cellular phone nokia 2700 classic
without battery. Suspect is now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police
Station locked-up cell awaiting court disposition.
ALARM AND SCANDAL INCIDENT IN MAHAYAG
On or about 5:00 in the
afternoon of November 19, 2014, Mahayag Police Station received a report
informing that somebody indiscriminately fired undetermined type of firearm at
Sitio Palayan, San Isidro, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Mahayag
Police Station led by PInsp Melvin Ng Maglangit, DCOP proceeded to
above-mentioned place to conduct ocular investigation. initial investigation
revealed that a certain Oscar Hao Pitogo alias “Dodo Oca”, 32 a resident of the
aforementioned place and one (1) Gedion Rodriguez Navarro Jr. alias
"Otok" resident of Miligan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur while having
drinking session particularly at the house of Oscar Hao Pitogo suddenly fired a
gun twice without apparent reasons causing alarm and panic of the people in the
area. Same PNP elements conducted hot pursuit operation which resulted to the
successful arrest of one (1) Gedion R. Navarro Jr. Alias "Otok". A
case of alarms & scandals against the suspects is being prepared for filing

SHOOTING INCIDENT IN TUKURAN
On or about 11:30 in
the morning of November 20, 2014, Mr. Cadir Ngapas Y Guad of Purok Malipayon,
Barangay Combo, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur together with Kagawad Shajada
Mamasalagat of Barangay Lower Bayao, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur personally
appeared and reported to Tukuran Police Station informing that one (1) Jaynard
Ngapas 21 years old, single, fisherman and a resident of Labangan, Zamboanga
Del Sur was shot once using unknown caliber of handgun by the suspect
identified as one (1) Rambo Lador of legal age and a resident of Purok Rizal, Barangay Sto.
Niño, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted disclosed
that on or about 3:00 in the morning of November 20, 2014, the victim was about
to go home after attending a disco affair of San Carlos, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del
Sur and waiting for passenger jeep to pass
by with some bystanders of the said barangay when a commotion happened
wherein the said suspect on board a SMC Honda Wave color black with two
unidentified back riders arrived and without any provocation, one of his
unidentified companion boxed a certain Odo Padido hitting his right jaw and not
contented on their actions, the suspect (Rambo Lador) got a handgun and pointed
it to Odo Padido but unfortunately the said victim who was not involve in the
fistfight was accidentally hit by stray bullet on his right shoulder. Suspects
together with his two unidentified companions fled towards unknown direction
right after the incident while victim was immediately brought by his companions
to Tukuran Rural Health Unit but the victim refuses to undergo further medical
treatment to the hospital and just went home. Tukuran Police Station now convincing
the victim to file charges against the suspect while follow-up operation was
being conducted by same PNP elements for possible arrest of the suspect.

ROBBERY INCIDENT PAGADIAN CITY
On or about 6:30 in the
evening of November 20, 2014, one Ruffy Jhon Rodriguez Y Dablo, 36 years old,
male, married and a resident of block 7, lot 3, NJK Subdivision, Barangay Dao,
Pagadian City together with his wife personally came and informing Pagadian
City Police Station that a robbery/burglary incident transpired at the
above-mentioned place. Immediately, PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police
Station proceeded to the aforementioned place to conduct ocular
inspection/investigation. Initial investigation disclosed that on or about 6:00
in the evening of same date, Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez discovered that there house
was entered by unidentified suspect/s by gaining entrance at the back window of
their house. Further investigation disclosed that unidentified suspect/s was
able to get inside by forcibly destroying the window blades of the house and
carted away the following items, three(3) necklace, one (1) gold and two (2)
silvers, three(3) rings of gold, one (1) bracelet, three(3) earrings (gold) and
one (1) unit Acer laptop. Suspect/s fled to unknown direction after the
incident. Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting follow-up
investigation for possible identity of the suspect/s and file appropriate
