SHOOTING INCIDENT IN DIMATALING

On or about 3:00 in the afternoon of November 08. 2014, one (1) Julitea Vergara Banquil, 55 years old, married and a resident of Barangay Codilog, Dimataling,  Zamboanga Del Sur personally reported to Dimataling Police Station informing that on or about 8:30 in the evening of November 07, 2014, her husband identified as one (1) Antonio Vergara 55 years old,  farmer/fisherman and a resident of the above stated place was shot by unidentified suspects with the used of .45 caliber pistol and 12 gauge shotgun based on the recovered empty shell of caliber .45 and shotgun shell at the crime scene. Initial investigation conducted by Dimataling Police Station revealed that while the victim was inside their Nipa hut located at Sitio Tandobilod, Barangay Tiniguangan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur when suddenly shot by the suspects several times from a distance. Victim sustained gunshot wound on his left knee and was immediately rushed to Dimataling Health Center for treatment while suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. Dimataling Police Station is now conducting thorough investigation for possible identity and arrest of the suspects. IN MOLAVE

On or about 2:00 in the afternoon of November 08, 2014 at Purok Masanagon, Dipole, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur particularly beside Lumacang Store wherein one (1) Merlinda Nacua Y Suerte, female, 55 years old, married, farmer and a resident of same place was shot by unidentified suspects. Initial investigation conducted by Molave Police Station revealed that while the victim was fixing the dry washed clothes hanged at the back of her house when suddenly one (1) of the two (2) unidentified suspects came nearer to her and without any provocation shot her several times using caliber .45 pistol based on the recovered empty shells at the crime scene. Victim sustained gunshot wounds on her stomach, hands and thigh and was brought To Blancia Hospital, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur for medical treatment while the two suspects fled towards Pagadian City direction using a single motorcycle color red without plate number. Further investigation disclosed that prior to the incident at about 12:00 noon of same day, the two suspects all wearing maong jacket ordered an RC cola drinks and a liter of beer in the said store. Molave Police Station is now conducting hot pursuit operation against the suspects. 2 Teen Held in Checkpoint for Drugs IN TUKURAN

Two teenagers were arrested after they were caught throwing a suspected illegal drugs during checkpoint operation conducted by the Tukuran Police Station along the National Highway of Barangay Tagulo, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:00 PM November 8, 2014. Arrested were identified as Nizamodin Ali Y Diangal, 18, jobless, resident of lanao del Norte and Junjun Marohom Y Diangal 20, both resident of Barangay Dangolaan, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao Del Norte. Investigation disclosed that both suspects were onboard on a single motorcycle Kawasaki nexus traversing from Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao Del Norte going to Tukuran, however, upon reaching at the above mentioned was intercepted and flagged down by the PNP elements of Tukuran Police Station. upon inspection made, the back rider of said single motorcycle identified as Nizamodin Ali Y Diangal suddenly pulled- out piece of big plastic heat sealed sachet and thrown it to the shoulder of the road, however, when verified it was found out and discover containing seven (7) pieces of small packs of plastic heat sealed sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as Shabu. The two suspects were brought and detained at Tukuran Police Station while an appropriate case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court against them. The confiscated drugs will be turned- over to Provincial Crime Laboratory for confirmatory test.

Theft in Dimataling

Theft incident occurred at about 5:10 PM November 9, 2014 in Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. The suspect was identified as Andrian Beton Y Ordiniza, 21, farmer, resident of Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling. He was arrested by the owner and security guard of Agriline Convenience Store located at Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. The suspect was caught in the act stealing thru CCTV installed inside the store. confiscated from his possession and control are one (1) case of 300ml Coca-Cola plastic bottles amounting more or less (P168.00. The suspect is now temporarily detained at Dimataling MPS while appropriate case is being prepared for filing in court.
