Shooting in Pagadian
Shooting incident
occurred at Rizal Avenue, Gatas District, Pagadian City at about 3:15 AM of
June 2, 2015. The victim was identified as Rene Boy Labor Y unto alias “Bolantoy”,
27 years old, fisherman and a resident of napolan, Pagadian City. Investigation
showed that the victim was standing and waiting for passenger motor cab at the
above-mentioned placed particularly in front of victor bazar of the aforesaid
place when suddenly two unidentified suspects appeared and without any
provocation, one of the suspect shot him once hitting on his left shoulder. The
suspects fled to unknown direction after the commission of the crime on board
undetermined type of single motorcycle as their get-away vehicle. The weapon
used was believed to be cal. 45 pistol based on one fired cartridge case
recovered at the crime scene by the responding elements of Pagadian City Police
who are now conducting follow-up dragnet operation to possibly identify and
arrest the fleeing suspects.
8 Nabbed in Margosatubig Drug Bust
A total of eight
individuals including eleven sachtes of suspected illegal drugs were seized
during police operation against illegal drugs conducted by elements of
Margosatubig Police Sttion and PDEA in Purok Rose, Barangay Poblacion,
Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 AM of June 2, 2015. Police Senior
Inspector jonathan P. Lladoc, Margosatubig Police Chief, identified the
arrested individuals as Saib Abibul Y Sumayang, 33; Adskar Halis, 19; Janrey
Mesa Y Perez, 19; Sarah Datu-Oto, 23; Rodman Del Rosario Y Salon, 22; Adjidkan
Majid Y Alhabsi, 32; Alfie Majid Y Balilo Y Itumay, 27; Abdulmajid Datu-Oto,
28. confiscated items were eleven (11) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet
of white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, one unit Nokia cellphone
model 6600, one green disposable lighter, four
aluminum
foils and one two hundred peso bill (P200.00) used as buy bust money. The
arrested persons were brought to said police station for booking and
subsequently turned - over to PDEA for proper disposition.
