PRESS RELEASE

DEAD BODY FOUND

That at about 2:00 PM of February 27, 2016, barangay chairman of Legarda Tres, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur personally reported to Dinas MPS informing that one (1) female dead body was found in an isolated area of Purok 6 of said barangay. Investigation disclosed that the victim was identified as Jomarie Dumalos Cañete, 20 years old, married, self-employed, and a resident of Purok 6, Legarda Tres, Dinas, ZDS. the victim’s body was in the stage of decomposition. The victim has no lower garments and underwear, with gunshot wounds on the back of her head and several bruises on the different parts of her body. Responding elements of Dinas MPS recovered one (1) fired slug and one (1) fired cartridge case of caliber .45 pistol found at the crime scene. The victim was believed to be raped and murdered afterwards. PNP personnel of Dinas MPS are conducting investigation for the possible arrest and identification of the suspect.

LOOSE FIREARMS

That at about 10:25 PM of February 27, 2016, Chairman Ramon Holoyohoy Of Brgy. Gatub, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur, personally reported to Lakewood MPS, ZSPPO, together with his barangay tanod. they turned-over a certain Edgar Alulino Penaso, 46 years old, male, single, farmer, and resident of purok 6, of said barangay, and one (1) caliber .45 pistol, brand name colt, with serial number 473212, and one (1) magazine containing three (3) live ammunitions. Investigation disclosed that at about 6:00 pm of February 27, 2016, a certain julieto deo gallegos, 41 years old, married, barangay tanod and resident of purok 4, barangay gatub, saw the suspect walking and carrying his short firearm he is also pointing it to people along the way. Jullieto Deo Gallegos, together with his co-barangay tanods took appropriate action to apprehend the said suspect by surprising and grabbing the firearm from his control, after which they arrested the suspect and had him turned-over to the chairman of said barangay and thereafter taken to lake wood municipal police station for documentation and proper disposition

Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident:

A vehicular accident transpired at the National Highway of Purok Panaghiusa, Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:40 in the morning of Febraury 25, 2016,  wherein one (1) unit honda xrm, motorcycle, 125cc, color black with plate nr 090110, engine nr KPY20E004224, chassis nr KPY 2104274, or nr 816956486 and CR nr owned and driven by Wenceslao Perpetua Padigos, 55 years old, married, and with professional drivers license number JO3-79-002943 accidentally collided with another one (1) unit honda xrm, motorcycle, 125cc, color red with plate nr XY 5818, engine nr xrm 17EO74944, chassis nr XRM17074944, or nr 68667290 and CR nr 174919463 owned and driven by Arnel Morat Ampalo, 34 years old, married, with non-profesional driver’s license nr JO3-13-003506. Investigation conducted disclosed that the aforesaid xrm, motorcycle, color black was traversing the aforesaid highway and when about to make a left turn he was accidentally bumped by the aforementioned xrm, motorcycle, color red. as a result, the drivers of both motorcycles were sustained injuries together with their backriders namely: Florintina Padigos, 54 years old; Jharex Asher C. Ampalo, 3 years old; and Debbie Joy C. Ampalo, 33 years old and were all rushed to the nearest hospital for immediate medication.

Illegal Drugs

The PNP elements of Dumalinao Municipal Police Station led by PCI LEE ERIC SALE HUMPA, COP conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok uno Brgy Rebokon, Dumalinao, ZDS at about 1:30 in the morning of  February 27, 2016, and successfully arrested one (1) Junrey Rubio Y Sale, 27 years old, married, jobless, resident of said place. Confiscated from his possession, seven (7) sachet of white crystaline substance of suspected methamphetamine  hydrochloride known as shabu, seven (7) pcs of rolled aluminum foil/ shabu pharaphernalia, one (1) unit coin lcc lighter color blue, one (1) unit cellphone pouch color red, one (1) unit wallet color black, one (1) unit coin purse, six (6) pcs of Phillipine money in different denomination (marked money) and three (3) pcs of phillipine money coin worth 25 pesos. Recovery Of Stolen Motorcycle And Arrest Of Suspect

        The PNP elements of V. Sagun Municipal Police Station together with the coordination of Pagadian City Police Station successfully recovered the stolen single motorcycle (Honda XRM) at about 2:00 in the morning of February 27, 2016 and arrested the suspect identified as CEDENCIO OMANA, 36 years old, married, driver, and a resident of Margosatubig which was parked at the residence of late SPO3 Teodoro Maata at Prk. Madasigon, Brgy. Kabatan, V. Sagun ZDS. Said motor single was reported stolen last January 16, 2016 at Pagadian City and positively identified by the owner Christopher Democer Y Bandiala when he attended the last vigil of SPO3 Maata, right there, he immediately informed V. Sagun MPS about the motor single and subsequently, said station called the attention of Pagadian City PS to verify the veracity of the stolen motor single report and after the confirmation, immediately said station initiated the operation and apprehended the suspect. Suspect were then brought to V. Sagun MPS together with the recovered stolen motor single after which were turned over to Pagadian City PS. Investigator on Case: SPO1 Nicasio N. Top 4 most wanted person surrender and 2 arrested in ZamboSur

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (Feb.20, 2016) – The top number 4 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person of Lapuyan Municipalit of this province voluntarily surrendered to Lapuyan Municipal Police Station Friday at 7:00 in the morning, February 19, 2016 in Barangay Bulawan of the said town and the arrest of two others in the different municipalities of this province.

Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Director Senior Supt. Michael Mendoza Nicolas identified the surrendered wanted person as Jefrey Humpa y Cadugdug, 29, single and a resident of Purok Linubihan, Barangay Bulawan of the said town.

Humpa has a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder under Criminal Case (CC) Nr 13-078, issued by Hon. Edilberto G. Absin, Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel of this province, SSupt. Nicolas said.

The 2 other suspects arrested in a separated police operations were identified as follows: Juanito M. Antipuesto, 74, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy Penoles, Lakewood. He was arrested by PNP elements of Lakewood Municipal Police Station at 3:20 in the afternoon of February 19, 2016 at the abovementioned place by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 9262 docketed under CC Nr 12634-2k16 issued by Hon. Benjamin R. Lanzaderaz, Presiding Judge of RTC 9, Branch 22, Pagadian City with bail recommended of 12,000.00.

Marlon Molijon Y Molijon, 42 years old, single, laborer and a resident of Purok San Juan, Brgy Waterfall, Aurora. He was arrested by Aurora Police Operatives by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 9262 docketed under CC Nr 12634-2k16 issued by Hon. Benjamin R. Lanzaderaz, Presiding Judge of RTC 9, Branch 22, Pagadian City with bail recommended of 12,000.00. By JONG CADION
