Shooting Incident
PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting
incident transpired at about 5:20 PM, October 25, 2016 at along Rizal Avenue,
Balangasan District, Pagadian City. The victims were identified as Elmey Yukoya
Y Mendoza, 64 years old, male, married, Filipino, Dean of graduate School (SMC)
and a resident of Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur, Santa
Lebitario-Yukoya, 64 years old, female, wife of Elmey M. Yukoya and a resident
of same place, Yoriko Montejo Y Yukoya, 9 years old, male, grandson and a
resident of Poblacion, Titay, Zamboanga Sigugay, Tisha Montejo Y Yukoya, 11
years old, female, granddaughter. They were shot several times by two riding
criminals on board on unidentified type of single motorcycle with the use Cal
.45. Initial Investigation conducted by the responding personnel of Pagadian
City Police Station disclosed that the said victims were onboard on their white
SUV (Mitsubishi Montero Sport) with plate number VFT 676, when they were tailed
by two (2) unidentified suspects and shot the victims. As a result, victim
Elmey Yukoya sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the different parts of his
body and was immediately rushed to Borbon Hospital located at Rizal Avenue,
Sta. Lucia District, Pagadian City and was later pronounced dead on arrival by
his attending physician and his grandson sustained gunshot wound on his chest
and still under critical condition. The other two victims were both unharmed.
Recovered from the crime scene were four (4) fired cartridge cases for .45
caliber subject for turned-over to PNP Crime Laboratory for Ballistic
Comparison.
Fire Incident
TAMBULIG - Fire incident
transpired at around 11:00 PM, October 24, 2016 at Sitio Orang Dako, Purok 5, Barangay
Cabgan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein the two houses made of light
materials burned into ashes, owned by Dominador Labrador Casas Jr, 59 years
old, married, Fisherman and Jomar Diano Casas, 30 years old, single and all a
resident of Sitio Orang Dako, Purok 5, Barangay Cabgan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del
Sur. Initial investigation conducted by the BFP investigator further disclosed
that the cause of fire was electrical short circuit due to overloading.
Estimated cost of damage is amounting to more or less P80, 000.00. No reported
injuries/casualties during the incident.
Fire Incident
PAGADIAN CITY - Fire
incident transpired at about 4:25 PM, October 25, 2016 at Mang Inisal, Gaisano
Capital Mall, located at Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City wherein one of the
employees of Mang Inasal assigned at the grilling area noticed an unusual large
smoke that made one of the employee panic, and suddenly in a split of second, a
fire started. After a couple of minutes, the fire was under control by the
responding BFP personnel at around 4:55 PM and declared fire out at around 5:05
PM of same date with an estimated cost of damage amounting to more or less
P100,000.00. No reported injuries/casualties during the incident.
