Pedestrian Bumped by Speeding Honda in Dinas

Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur- motor vehicular traffic accident occurred at about 6:30 PM November 21, 2014 at Purok 1, Barangay Nangka, Dinas, wherein one single Honda XRM 125 color red with no plate number, driven by Paul Hemillian Y Alisna, 26, Habal-Habal driver and resident of Barangay Legarda, Dinas together with his back rider identified as Edwardo Padilla Y Borlando, 41, a farmer, accidentally bumped into one pedestrian identified as  Christian David  Y Cuevas, 21, married, jobless, resident of  Puwalas, Tubod Lanao Del Norte. investigation conducted by Dinas MPS disclosed that said single Honda was traversing from Poblacion Dimataling bound to Barangay Legardo Uno, Dinas, however upon reaching at the above-mentioned place, accidentally bumped into one pedestrian mentioned above who at that time urinating at the shoulder of the road. Both Paul Hemillian Y Alisna and Christian David Y Cuevas sustained injuries on the different parts of their bodies and were rushed to Chavez Medical Clinic for immediate medical treatment. Meanwhile, Edwardo Padilla Y Borlando sustained severe injuries on his head and body and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for immediate medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. The subject single Honda is now under the custody of Dinas MPS for proper disposition.

Tambulig Teen Robber Nabbed

Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur- Elements of Tambulig MPS led by SPO4 Roberto C. Cortes arrested a teenager who was charged for the crime of robbery in Barangay Cabgan, Tambulig at about 3:00 PM November 21, 2014. Police Senior Inspector Benjamin Casano Napigkit, Chief of Police of Tambulig MPS, identified the arrested as Rolando Sardual Y Cortez, 19, resident of said place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of robbery with force upon things, issued by Judge Jaime Caberte, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Tambulig docketed under criminal case number 2014-10-2897, issued on 6th day of November 2014 with recommended bail bond of forty thousand pesos (P40,000.00). The accused is now temporarily detained at Tambulig MPS awaiting court disposition.

Man with Theft Charges Arrested in Pagadian City

Pagadian City- a man facing qualified theft charges was collared by the operatives of Pagadian City Police Station and Tukuran Police Station led by Police Inspector Avelmar Renan U Garambas during manhunt operation in Barangay Upper Bayao, Tambulig at about 7:30 PM November 21, 2014. 1) Alvin Martinez Y Bernadez was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of qualified theft docketed under criminal case number 11804-2k14, issued by Hon Dennis P Vicoy, Presiding Judge, RTC 9, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City with bail recommended  fixed at forty thousand pesos (P 40,000). The accused is now temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS locked dash up cell awaiting court disposition.

Jobless Nabbed in Aurora Drug Sting

Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur-         operatives of Aurora Police Station nabbed a suspected drug pusher during buy-bust operation in Barangay San Jose at about 6:30 AM November 22, 2014. Police Senior Inspector Heidel B. Te-Elan, Aurora Police Station Chief of Police, identified the arrested pusher as Arfel Incio Y Butohan, 26, single, jobless and a resident of Barangay Romarate, Aurora. Recovered from his possession and control were one small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, one rolled aluminum foil, two pieces of (P 200.00) as marked money and one disposable lighter. Arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at said police station pending the filing of a case for violation of RA 9165 is against him in court.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUG

On or about 2:30 in the afternoon of  November 23, 2014, joint PNP elements of Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) ZSPPO and Provincial Anti- Illegal Drugs Operations Task Force (PAIDSOTF) and PDEA Zamboanga Del Sur conducted joint buy  bust operation at national highway  of Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur which resulted to the arrest of three (3) suspects identified as: Nena Sumusud Mohammad Aka Nena (included in drugs watch list personality); Monasa Oti Sumusud Aka Monasa; and Jamael Maguindanao Sarip Aka Jamael while one (1) unidentified suspect/companion of said suspects was able ran and escape.  Said suspects were arrested when they agreed to sell and deliver to a PDEA agent who posed as poseur buyer during the buy bust operation.  confiscated from their possession and control are three (3) big heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu in exchange for the supposed Two Hundred Ten Thousand Pesos (Php 210,000,00) buy-bust money consisting of one (1) One Thousand Pesos (Php 1000.00) bill on top of cut bond papers with an estimated weight of 150 grams. A case for violation of section 5 of article ii of R.A. 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court.

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON IN TIGBAO

On or about 1:05 in the afternoon of November 23, 2014, PNP elements of Tigbao Police Station led by PSInsp Norbert Ferrer Velonza, COP proceeded to Purok Rose, Sitio Woodland, Barangay Begong, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur and arrested one (1) Ernesto Catiag Y Malagwas, 37 years old, married, farmer and residence of Purok Nangka, Barangay Upper Lasuerte, Pagadian City. Subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Slight Physical Injuries in relation to R.A. 7610, issued by Presiding Judge Hon Benjamin R Lanzaderas, RTC 9, Branch 22, Pagadian City and Hon. Rolando L. Goan, Presiding Judge, RTC 9 branch 21, Pagadian City docketed under cc nr 11704-2K14  and slight  illegal detention docketed under cc nr 11694-2K14 with bail fixed at Eighty thousand pesos (Php 80,000) and Forty Thousand Pesos (Php 40,000) for his provisional liberty. Accused was now temporarily detained at Tigbao Police Station locked-up cell waiting court disposition.

Pollice member arrested inPagadian City

On or about 6:00 in the evening of November 23, 2014, PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station led by PInsp Renan Avelmar Ulpindo, deputy intelligence officer together with Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Task Force (PAIDSOTF) led by PSInsp Rommel Gabriel Etbew, proceeded to city oval complex, San Francisco District, Pagadian City and arrested PO1 Jason Lamban Y Eguana (AWOL) by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of section 15 of article 2 of R.A. 9165, issued by Hon. Romeo T. Descallar, Presiding Judge, Branch 19, Regional Trial Court, Pagadian City docketed under criminal case nr 11555-2K14. Accused is now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station locked-up cell awaiting court disposition.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUG IN DINAS

On or about 11:30 in the morning of November 23, 2014, PNP elements of Dinas Police Station led by PSInsp Ardee Oliver Solis Oliveros, COP conducted mobile checkpoint at Barangay Lower Dimata, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the arrest of suspect identified as Rowena Minuza Tecson, 17 years old, resident of Purok 7, Barangay Legarda Tres of said municipality. subject person was driving his single motorcycle Honda Wave, color green traversing from his residence going to Poblacion Dinas of same municipality and upon reaching at Barangay Lower Dimata of said municipality more or less five (5) meters away from the aforesaid PNP mobile checkpoint, said person acted suspiciously and suddenly threw a one (1) piece of plastic sachet on the shoulder of the road which then prompted the said PNP personnel to stopped the single motorcycle. Upon inspection and verification made, said plastic sachet wrapped with brown plastic tape was containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu and two (2) pieces rolled aluminum foils. Subject person was now under the custody of WCPD of Dinas Police Station while a appropriate case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filing in court. Shooting in Mahayag

Shooting incident occurred at about 10:00 PM November 23, 2014 in Barangay Daniel C Mantos, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Jaime Ata Cuevas, 44, married, farmer and temporarily residing at the aforesaid place. He was shot by the unidentified suspect with the used of undetermined caliber of firearm. Initial investigation conducted by the Mahayag MPS revealed that the victim was sleeping alone in the old hut owned by Rose Acuña at the aforesaid place when suddenly shot by the perpetrators. He sustained gunshot wounds at the right face and back of his head and was immediately brought to Mahayag Community Hospital for medical treatment. The suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. The motive of incident is still unknown. The Mahayag MPS is now conducting thorough investigation to determine the possible motive of the incident and identity of the suspects.

Robbery in Pagadian City

Robbery and burglary incident occurred at about 7:20 AM November 24, 2014. The victim was Marlyn Enojardo Y Soco, 39, female, resident of Sto Nino District, Pagadian City. In her report to the Pagadian CPS, the burglary incident transpired at Jhon Electrical Shop, Duterte St. Gatas District, Pagadian City. initial investigation conducted disclosed that AT AROUND 6:00 AM of this date, Bekhard Carnalija Y Chaves, worker of the said shop discovered that the padlock of the said electrical shop was destroyed by unidentified suspect and carted away seven ( 7) pieces of batteries in different size and plates owned by their customers. The suspect/s fled towards unknown direction after the incident. The Pagadian CPS is now conducting follow- up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect/s.

Stabbing in Midsalip

Stabbing incident occurred at about 5:15 PM November 24, 2014 at Barangay Poblacion B. Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Alexander Nacion Y Damos aka Alex, 55 years old, married, farmer and a resident of the aforesaid place. He was stabbed by a certain Mariano Unabia Y Alboroto aka Junior Tada, 49 years old, married, farmer and a resident of same place. initial investigation conducted by Midsalip MPS revealed that both victim and suspect were under the influenced of intoxicating liquor and were having a conversation when a heated argument occur causing the suspect to get his hunting knife and stab the victim once hitting his chest. One Algean Nacion Y Tumapon, daughter of the victim immediately grabbed a bottle of beer and struck the head of the suspect hitting his head. Alexander Nacion sustained one stabbed wound on his chest (left side) and rushed to Midsalip Infirmary Hospital for medical treatment while Mariano Unabia also sustained swelling with laceration parietal area on his head and also rushed to Pagadian City Medical Center for medical treatment.
