Brawling Incident in Tigbao

Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur - Brawling incident occurred at about 9:30 PM of March 1, 2015 in Barangay Maragang, Tigbao. initial investigation conducted disclosed that while a basketball league was held in connection with the Araw Ng Barangay of the abovementioned place, a heated argument between the referee and the team coach ensued which resulted to the incident. The Barangay Kagawad Rey Parides approached to pacify them; however, he was boxed by Nilo Cataño together with his nephews identified as Alejandro Vadil Saren, Alden Vadil Saren, Aldrin Vadil Saren and his brother in law Alejandro Labonita Saren.  after the commotion was already pacified, a certain Bryan Lauganas son in law of Nilo Castaño suddenly appeared and got a wooden chair and without any apparent reason slammed into the aforesaid Barangay Kagawad hitting his head. The Kagawad sustained laceration on his left portion of his head and contusions on the different parts of his body. He was rushed to Pagadian City Hospital for medical treatment. The following suspects was arrested namely Alejandro Labonita Saren Sr., Alejandro Vadil Saren Jr. and Alden Vadil Saren. They are now temporarily detained at Tigbao MPS for documentation and proper disposition and for filing for appropriate charges against them.

Cadaver Found in Kumalarang

Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur – A dead body was found beside the National Road of Purok-1 in Barangay Bogayo, Kumalarang at about 6:00 AM of March 2, 2015. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the said dead body was believed to be thrown by unidentified perpetrator/s at the aforementioned place sustaining one gunshot wound at the back portion of his head with the used of undetermined caliber of firearm. The said cadaver has no identification card to prove his identity. He was apparently aging 40-45 years old, fair complexion, wearing long pants maong (brand lee), black under wear without upper garments but with black jacket beside and a tattoo at the back portion of his body right side and at his left and right shoulder. The said cadaver was brought to Gamalinda Funeral Homes in Tubod, Lakewood.

Man Arrested in Pagadian City

Pagadian City – Operatives of Pagadian City Police Station led by Police Inspector Psyche L. Barroquillo nabbed a 27-year old man in Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City at about 8:00 AM of March 2, 2015. The arrested man was identified as Jester Dan Merida Y Miranda, 27 and a resident of Barangay Upper Balide, Aurora. His arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of reckless imprudence resulting to homicide and damage to property under criminal case number 8676 issued by Honorable Presiding Judge Annabelle D. P. Piang Of 12th Judicial Region, 1st Municipal Circuit Trial Court- Parang-Buldon-Matanog-Barira, Province Of Maguindanao Issued On February 9, 2015 with bail for his temporary liberty was fixed to two thousand pesos (P 2,000.00). Suspect was brought and detained at the Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition.

RA 9165 Violator Nabbed in Dinas

Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur – Police elements of Dinas Police Station arrested a wanted person in Regional Hospital Poblacion Margosatubig Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:30 PM of March 2, 2015. Police Senior Inspector Ardee Oliver S. Oliveros, Dinas Police Chief, identified the arrested as Rowena M Tecson. Her arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed under criminal case no. 15-009 in violation of Section 11, Article ii, R.A. 9165 Issued by Honorable Felix Rodriguez Jr. Acting Presiding Judge of RTC branch 29 with bail recommended amounting to two hundred thousand pesos (P 200,000.00). Suspect is now temporarily detained at the said police station for proper disposition.

Minor Held in Tukuran for Robbery Charges

Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur – A 17-yeard old minor who was facing a robbery charges was arrested by operatives of Tukuran Police Station in Barangay Baclay, Tukuran at about 6:30 PM of March 2, 2015. Police Chief Inspector Gilzen Niño R. Manese, Tukuran Police Chief, identified the arrested man as Reynald K. Sambaan alias “Dodong”, jobless, 17 years old, grade 7 student and a resident of the aforesaid place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Benjamin R. Lanzaderas Of Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City dated February 26, 2015 for the crime of robbery with force upon things through the use of a false key under criminal case number 11900-2k15 and with bail bond fixed to eighty thousand pesos (P80, 000.00) pesos for his temporary liberty. The accused is referred to WCPD section and subject to condition whether or not the said arrested person will avail of his right to bail otherwise he will immediately turn over to DSWD of Tukuran Municipality.
