REPORTED INCIDENTS -March 28, 2015

PRESS RELEASE 
RAPE WITH HOMICIDE INCIDENT

On or about 1:10 in the afternoon of March 28, 2015, one Marivic Victoria Alpa, 33 years old, married, housewife and a resident of Purok 7, Leon Kilat, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City together with her husband Kasim Alpa personally appeared and reported to Molave Police Station that more or less 10:00 o'clock in the morning of this same date that her daughter Sahada Alpa, 3 year old minor, female, was allegedly missing at the public market area of Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. immediately PNP elements of Molave Police Station proceeded to Molave Public Market area to conduct investigation of the said report. Thereat, concerned citizen informed the responding police that they saw a certain Ramelo Hawgin alias Baybay was accompanying the child at the public market and believe to have brought the child towards Barangay Dalaon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. upon this information, responding PNP elements of Molave Police Station proceeded to the said place and thereat found the suspect Ramelo Hawgin alias Baybay. upon interview of the suspect, suspect admitted to have carried the said child from the public market area of Molave and further revealed that he killed the child and have dumped her in the canal situated at Sitio Susayan, Barangay Dalaon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. Further, suspect also led the responding PNP elements where he dumped the victim which was a half kilometer walk where victim was found lying already lifeless and totally naked. Initial investigation disclosed that in the morning of this same date, the child victim was with her mother Marivic Victoria Alpa taking their breakfast at the food carinderia at Molave Public Market and when the mother went to the comport room to urinate, left her child in the carenderia who was then still eating. Upon her return, saw the child was no longer there where she left and was already brought by the suspect Ramelo Hawgin alias Baybay. Furthermore, the Municipal Health Officer Molave, Dr. Prisco Pabatao Jr., noted that the child victim sustained laceration wounds in her sexual organ, that lead to a conclusion that the child had been raped before she was killed. a case for rape with homicide is now prepared by Molave Police Station for filing before the provincial prosecutor as an inquest case against the arrested suspect Ramelo Hawgin alias Baybay who is presently detained at Molave Police Station lock-up cell.

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON

On or about 10:00 in the morning of March 28, 2015 PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station led by SPO3 Carlos Omentic warrant server proceeded to Blk 2, Lot 15, Phase II, Kagawasan Village, Barangay Bogo, Pagadian City to serve and effect the arrest of one (1) Leonila Saura, female and a resident of the above-mentioned place for violation of art 315,1 RPC in relation to P.D 115 “Estafa” (6 counts) with criminal cases number: 17064; 17065; 17066; 17067; 17068  and 17069 issued by Hon Presiding Judge Pablito S. Pielago Jr Of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 2, Pagadian City on March 19, 2015 with bail for her temporary liberty fixed at Thirty Six Thousand Pesos (Php 36,000.00). Suspect was successfully arrested after being informed of her inviolable constitutional rights and the nature of her arrest and now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station lock-up cell while waiting for court final adjudication.
