REPORTED INCIDENTS –March 24, 2015

PRESS RELEASE
MAULING INCIDENTAND ARREST OF SUSPECT

On or about 4:50 in the morning of March 24, 2015, Barangay Tanod Mendez of Barangay Baganian, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur reported to Tabina Police Station informing that a mauling incident transpired on or about 8:30 in the evening of March 23, 2015 at jessel camansi’s house-lawn situated at Purok Balite, Barangay Baganian, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Tabina Police Station led by PO3 Alex J. Panes proceeded to the aforesaid barangay to verify the report and conduct investigation. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that victim identified as Carmelina Vargas Y Maghinay, married, housewife and her daughter identified as Jean Vargas Y Maghinay, 17 years old, student all resident of Purok Balite, Barangay Baganian, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur was mauled by a suspects identified as follows: one (1) Jose Albia Y Pabarian, 48 years old, married, fisherman; one (1) Natividad Albia Y Flores, 44 years old, married, housewife and a certain Joemar Albia Y Flores 24 years old, fisherman all residents of Purok Balite, Barangay Baganian, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur. Carmelina Vargas Y Maghinay sustained multiple contusions on her head, face and back part of her body which resulted to her untimely death while her daughter Glory Jean Vargas Y Maghinay suffered contusion and human bite on her back now under medication. The suspects were arrested at about 1:00 o’ clock in the morning of March 24, 2015 by the Barangay Tanods of the aforesaid barangay and subsequently turned-over to the responding PNP elements of tabina police station. Suspects are now temporary detained at Tabina Police Station lock-up cell while appropriate case is being prepared for filing in court against them. Motive of the incident is personal grudge.

VEHICULAR ACCIDENT

On or about 08:00 in the morning of March 24, 2015 along the national highway particularly at Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur fronting immaculate heart academy wherein one (1) single motorcycle Racal 110 color white, with plate number SA 34906, expired registration owned and driven by Tamayo, Bon Axsel Salvador, 20 years old, married and a resident of Tawagan Norte, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur equipped with non professional drivers license was side swipe by one (1) single motorcycle Kawasaki, rouser 220, color red, with plate number 1645 JI, registered under in the name of Alnajer M Timpahan of Poblacion Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay, and driven by Padoman, Abubacar Dimakuta, 46 years old, married, and a resident of Poblacion Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that while Racal 110 Motorcycle was maneuvering towards the left lane when accidentally side swipe by the said rouser 220 who also negotiating on same direction. As a result, both vehicles incurred damage. The back rider of rouser identified as one (1) Honey Padoman was brought to Jamellarin Hospital Pagadian City for medication while both vehicles involved were brought to Dumalinao Police Station including the drivers for proper disposition.

THEFT OF MOTORCYCLE

On or about 10:30 in the evening of March 24, 2015 one Sherwin Horca Y Mediodia, 37 years old, male, together with his son Ishmael Horca Y Del Monte, 15 years old, male, single, both residence of Purok Nido, Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City personally reported to Pagadian City Police Station informing that at about  09:30 in the evening of same date, their white Yamaha Mio Sporty single motorcycle bearing temporary plate number 092001, registered under the name of Ishmael Horca, was stolen by unidentified person/s while being parked along Sabado Street, Barangay Sta. Maria, Pagadian City. PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted checkpoint and incident was flash alarmed to nearby police station to apprehend the possessor of the said stolen motorcycle. Intelligence operatives of Pagadian City Police Station conducted discreet investigation to possibly identity the suspect/s but turned futile.
