ARRESTED WANTED PERSON IN KUMALARANG

On or about 11:00 in the morning of February 27, 2015 at the Barangay Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur PNP elements of Kumalarang Police Station led by PInsp Leonel Pajarilla Roncesvalles, OIC together with PNP elements of Lapuyan Police Station led by PInsp Roger Bartiana, COP proceeded to aforesaid mentioned place to effect the warrant or about which resulted to the successful arrest of one(1) Niño Go Y Tugunon, 39 years old, married, self-employed a resident of Barangay Maruing, Lapuyan Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Honrolando L.Goan  Judge of Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 21, Pagadian City for the crime of Estafa with criminal case no. 11169-2K14 and bail bond recommended fixed to Php 40,000.00 for his temporary liberty. Accused is now properly turn dash over to PNP elements of Lapuyan Police Station and temporary detained lock-up cell for proper disposition

MAHAYAG

On or about 10:15 in the morning of February 27, 2015 at Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Mahayag Police Station led by  PCInsp Homer Tragico Dumalag, COP proceeded to aforesaid place to effect the warrant of arrest which resulted to the successful arrest of top two (2) most wanted person in municipal level identified as one (1) Alvin Dinawanao Y Lozada, a resident of  Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of rape, docketed under cc # 2014-10-2777, issued by Presiding Judge Jaime B. Caberte, dated August 5, 2014. No bail recommended. Accused is now temporary detained at Mahayag Police Station lock-up cell while awaiting for commitment order from the issuing court.

On or about 6:45 in the evening of February 27, 2015 at Barangay Kabuhi, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. Joint PNP elements of Mahayag Police Station led by PCInsp Homer T Dumalag (COP), Guipos Police Station headed by PSInsp Usman J Edding (OIC), ZSPIT RIU9, Zamboanga Del Sur, PPSC,  ZSPPO PIB and WESMIN-CIDU proceeded to the aforesaid place to effect the warrant of arrest that resulted to the arrest of Ceasar Almagro Y Arante, 44 years old,  married, jobless a resident of Barangay Dagohoy, Guipos Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape (10 counts) and Attempted Rape issued by Hon Judge Benjamin Lanzaderas of RTC9, Br 22, Pagadian City. Accused is now temporary detained at Guipos Police Station lock-up cell while awaiting the commitment order fm the issuing court.

Man Nabbed in Dimataling for Theft

Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur – A 21 year old man who was wanted for the crime of rape was arrested by operatives of Dimataling Police Station in Barangay Kagawasan, at about 6:15 PM of February 26, 2015. Arrested was identified as Adrian Beton aka Bergot, 21, residence of the aforesaid place. He was arrested for theft under criminal case# 15-2202-d. The accused is now temporarily detained at Dimataling MPS waiting for court commitment order.

Hospital Aide Arrested in Pagadian City for the Crime of Other Deceits

Pagadian City – A hospital aide woman wanted for the crime of other deceits was arrested by elements of Pagadian City Police Station in Purok Mabini, Barangay Sto. Niño, at about 9:45 A.M of February 26, 2015. Accused Leah Amsali, 24, female, admin aide of Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, was placed under arrest for the crime of “other deceits” with criminal case number 16960 issued by Hon Presiding Judge Pablito S. Pielago Jr. Of 9th Judicial Regional Branch 2 Pagadian City issued on February 26, 2015 with bail fixed by the issuing court to two thousand pesos (P 2,000.00). Suspect is now temporarily detained at the detention cells of said police station while waiting for final court adjudication.

Motor Vehicular Accident in Mahayag

Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur – Vehicular accident occurred at about 12:51 PM of February 26, 2015 along the National Highway, Barangay Boniao, Mahayag, wherein one minor pedestrian identified as Arnel Panganoron Y Ponce, 4 years old, resident of the aforesaid place was accidentally hit by a Honda XRM with defaced plate number, driven by Fritz Gerald Gimeno Y Fernandez, 15 years old, student and resident of barangay guintananan, Dumingag. Investigation conducted disclosed that the said mc was negotiating the highway heading towards Dumingag, however, upon reaching at the abovementioned place; accidentally hit the said child resulting to his death. The victim was at the side of the road and was left unattended by his father. He sustained severe injury and was immediately brought by the driver of the mc together with the father of the victim to Dumingag Health Center but died while giving initial medical treatment by the attending physician. The suspect driver voluntarily surrendered to Dumingag Police Station. He was turned - over to Mahayag MPS who has the jurisdiction over the case.

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON IN TAMBULIG

On or about  2:30 in the afternoon of February 26, 2015 at Barangay Lodiong, Tambulig Zamboanga Del Sur wherein PNP elements of Tambulig Police Station led by  PInsp Benjamin Casano Napigkit, MSOTG TF commander/COP proceeded to aforesaid place to effect the warrant of arrest that resulted to the successful arrest of one(1) Ceriaca Hucoy Bodiongan, 57 years old, married a resident of Barangay Lodiong, Tambulig Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Jaime B. Caberte Of Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave Zamboanga Del Sur for violation of R.A. 217 of the revised penal code (Malversation Of Public Funds Or Property), with criminal case nr 2015-10-2917, issued on January 28, 2015 with recommended bail bond of forty thousand pesos (40,000.00). Accuse is now temporarily detained at Tambulig Police Station lock-up cell while waiting the court order for final disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS –February 23-24, 2015

PRESS RELEASE
STABBING INCIDENT AND ARREST OF SUSPECT

On or about 8:40 in the evening of February 23, 2015 a stabbing incident transpired at Suani Videokee Haus at Wharf Area, Poblacion, Margosatubig  Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim was identified as one (1) Chocky Francisco Ferrer, 22 years old, single, male, Filipino, dried fish maker and a resident of Purok Orchids, Poblacion, Margosatubig Zamboanga Del Sur was stabbed to death by  the suspect identified as Victor Tumutod of legal age, a resident of Barangay Limbatong, Margosatubig Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Margosatubig Police Station with the direct control and supervision of PSInsp Jonathen Presto Lladoc proceeded to above mention place of incident to conduct initial investigation upon arrival of the PNP responding team of the place of incident found male victim lying on the ground at the entrance of the Suani Videoke Haus bath with his own blood. initial investigation disclosed that the victim was having a drinking spree at Suani Videoke House and when the latter about to go out of the said establishment he was immediately stabbed by the suspect with the used of bladed weapon and fled to unknown direction after the incident. victim sustained stabbed wound in his stomach that resulted to his instantaneous death. PNP elements of margosatubig police station immediately brought the victim to Margosatubig Regional Hospital but it was pronounce dead on arrival by the attending physician. PNP elements of Margosatubig Police Station conducted hot pursuit operation against the suspect. On or about 3:00 in the morning of February 24, 2015 at Barangay Limbatong, Margosatubig which resulted to the successful arrest of the suspect. Suspect is now temporary detained at Margosatubig Police Station lock-up cell while preparing an appropriate case against the suspect in court.

RECOVERY OF DEAD BODY IN LAKEWOOD

On or about 6:00 in the morning of February 23, 2015, Hon. Ramon B. Holoyohoy, Barangay Captain of Barangay Gatub, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur informed Lakewood Police Station through phone call that a dead body was found at national highway of Purok 1, Barangay Gatub, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Lakewood Police Station led by PInsp Roel J Japay immediately proceeded at said place to conduct ocular inspection and investigation. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that, that victim identified as Pablo (FNU), 20 to 25 years old and reportedly a resident of Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur with four (4) gunshot wound in the head while both hands tied with a rope. Victim have tattoo on the right shoulder and right hand and believed to be a victim of summary execution. Responding elements recovered four (4) empty shells of caliber 45 pistol from the crime scene near the body. Investigation further revealed that residents nearby heard a gun burst at about  01:00 in the morning of February 23, 2015 and reported to the barangay captain early in the morning which resulted to the discovery of said body. Lakewood Police Station now conducting follow-up regarding the incident.

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON IN LABANGAN

On or about 10:00 in the morning of February 23, 2015  elements  of Labangan Police Station led  by PSInsp June Akiate  Lawingan OIC  conducted manhunt  operation  at Barangay Sta. Cruz, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the arrest of two (2) suspects: one (1) Allan  Albiar  Y  Polenzo, 38 years old, married, private  employee  and  one (1) Arnel  Polenzo Y  Lacerna, 26 years old, married, private employee   all a resident of Barangay  sta. cruz, Labangan, zamboanga del sur. Arrested persons have  standing  warrant  of  arrest  issued  by   Presiding  Judge   Felix  B  Rodriguez Jr   at  RTC   9th  Judicial  Region   Branch  18  Pagadian  City   issued  on  January  14, 2015, criminal case nr  11283-2k14 for the crime of murder with no  bail  bond recommended. Suspects now temporary detained at Labangan Police Station lock-up cell awaiting for final adjudication fm the court

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON IN AURORA

On or about 6:00 in the evening of February 23, 2015, joint PNP elements of Aurora Police Station led by PSInsp Heidel B. Te-Elan, OIC and Bonifacio Police Station led by PSInsp Ereneo S. Ramirez, cop effected the warrant of arrest against Felix Jonathan Geray Y Gongob @ Junie, 60 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay La Victoria, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. subject was arrested in his house at the aforementioned place by virtue of the arrest warrant duly signed by Hon. Sylvia A. Singidas-Machacon, Presiding Judge of RTC Br-16 Tangub City for violation of PD 533, otherwise known as the Anti-Cattle Rustling Law of 1974, docketed under cc nr.2015-009 with recommended bail fixed at ₱36,000.00. Subject will be brought to Bonifacio Police Station, Misamis Occidental for proper disposition.

HACKING INCIDENT IN SAN PABLO

On or about 5:00 in the afternoon of February 24, 2015 at Purok Banikanhon, Barangay Mabuhay, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victims identified as one (1) Joveta  Villacrusis Y Transmil, 70 years old, widow and a certain Paterno Villacrusis Y Pagalaran, 40 years old, married both resident of Purok Mauswagon, Barangay Mabuhay, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur were hacked by a suspect identified as one (1) Jerry Cumayas Y Duran, 25 years old, married and also resident of same place. Initial investigation conducted by San Pablo Police Station disclosed that the victims and the suspect were having a drinking session at the house of Paterno Villacrusis when a heated argument ensued prompting the suspect to hacked the victims with the use of a scythe. Victim Paterno Villacrusis sustained hacked wound on his left arm while Jovita Villacrusis who tried to pacify them sustained hacked wound on her forehead. Victims were immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center in Dao, Pagadian City for proper medication while suspect tried to escape but he was arrested by the barangay officials who responded at the crime scene and now temporarily detained at San Pablo Police Station lock-up cell for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges against him. VEHICULAR ACCIDENT IN DUMALINAO 

On or about 9:43 in the morning of February 24, 2014 along national highway particularly at Purok Nangka, Barangay Anonang, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein one (1) bongo Mazda color white with temporary plate number 10171, drop side type registered in the name of David J Chiong of Gusa, Cagayan De Oro City (region 10) and was driven by Walid Salindawan Y Rajamuda, 26 years old, married and a resident of Victory Norty, Santiago City, Isabela Province accidentally bumped one (1) sports utility vehicle Montero sports color black, with plate number KGK 967 registered in the name of Mark O Siton  of Purok Alo, Poblacion San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur (region 9) and driven by Mark  Siton Y Otero, 28 years old, married seaman by profession and a resident of San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that both vehicle were negotiating in same direction going to Pagadian City and while Montero sports stop to avoid a collision with a single motorcycle with side car ahead of him, the aforementioned bongo Mazda who run behind suddenly bumped the said Montero applied due to mechanical/break  malfunction. As a result, both vehicle incurred damage and were brought to Dumalinao Police Station for proper disposition.

RA 9262 Violator Nabbed in Tigbao

Zamboanga Del Sur – A 40-year old man who was wanted for the crime of RA 9262 was arrested by operatives of Tigbao Police and PNP elements who undergo schooling on Police Intelligence Seminar (PIS) at RSTU 9, during police operation against wanted person in Barangay Maragang, Tigbao at about 4:45 PM of February 20, 2015. Police Senior Inspector Norbert Ferrer Velonza, Tigbao Police Chief, identified the arrested as Mario Baring Y Sumilhig, a Barangay Kagawad, 40, resident of Purok 5, Barangay Maragang, Tigbao. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Benjamin R. Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 22, Pagadian City for the violation of R.A 9262 docketed under criminal case no. 11899-2k15 dated February 5, 2015 with bail recommended in the amount of two thousand pesos (P2,000.00). Arrested suspect is now in the custody of Tigbao Police Station.

Highway Robbery in Dumalinao

Zamboanga Del Sur – A highway robbery incident occurred at about 2:20 in the afternoon of February 21, 2015. The victim was identified as Vic Welbin Tigoy Y Suco, 36, married the agent/collector of B-Meg Feeds. Accordingly, he was negotiating the national road from Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay bound for Pagadian City on board a SMC sky go 100, color black with plate # 2770 and upon reaching Barangay Motosawa, Dumalinao, he was trapped by three (3) unidentified male factors on board another Honda XRM, color red pointing a short undetermined firearm to his direction and order him to stopped. He then ordered by the suspects to  set back on his motorcycle in which one of the suspect drive his motorcycle, however, about two (2) kilometers more or less onboard single mc with two suspects order the victim to unload. They fled towards unknown direction carted away with the sky go motorcycle and sixty (60) thousand pesos cash, three (3) pieces check cards (land bank), cherry mobile and wallet containing were driver’s license, SSS ID, Phil health ID, Pag-Ibig ID and other personal belongings. The elements of Dumalinao MPS conducted hot pursuit operation for possible and arrest the suspects.

Shooting in Bayog

Zamboanga Del Sur - Shooting incident occurred at about 7:00 PM of February 15, 2015 at Purok 3, Barangay Depore, Bayog. The victim was identified as Edwin Sandayan Y Dublon, 44, married, small scale miner, resident of said place. He was shot to death by unidentified suspect. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim together with brother identified as Edgardo Sandayan Y Dublon and friends identified as Joseph Gantiao Y Villanueva, Vicente Arado Y Medil, were having a drinking spree at the store of Rogelio Butalid, when they heard a gun burst from the dark portion of the back of the victim, thereafter the victim fell down from a bench. He sustained gunshot wound on his back portion of his body. The elements of Bayog MPS are now conducting follow-up investigation for possible arrest the suspect. The motive of incident is personal grudge.

Motorcycle Taken in Pagadian City

Pagadian City – A motorcycle owned by Marlouie Calamba Y Tejano, 19, resident of Purok Lawis, Barangya Santa Lucia, Pagadian City, was taken by two unidentified suspects at the vicinity of Gaisano Mall in Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City at about 6:00 AM of February 21, 2015.  The motorcycle was a red/white Rusi "dl-z", bearing plate no. ju-9441. Investigation disclosed that the victim about to park his motorcycle along pulmones street, barangay san pedro  at the exit area of Gaisano Capital Pagadian City when two (2) unidentified suspects approached the victim and one of the suspect pointed a gun undetermined pistol to the victim ordering him to hand over his motorcycle. The suspect exited to the eastern part of the city at the Barangay Kawit Area carted away the above mentioned motorcycle. The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducted follow up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect.

Motor Vehicular Accident in Dumalinao

Zamboanga Del Sur – Motor vehicular accident occurred at about 8:00 PM of February 21, 2015 in Barangay Anonang, Dumalinao. The victim was identified as Gina Berludazo Y Luzon, 48, married, a Barangay Treasurer of said place. Investigation showed that one Honda wave 100, color red with plate # 090706, driven by Peter Palabrica Y Terol, 55, resident of Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur and presently working at Pagadian City Hall (Mayor’s Office), was traversing from Pagadian City bound for Municipality of Lakewood, however, upon reaching at Purok Nangka, Barangay Anonang, Dumalinao, accidentally bumped to the victim who was walking at the edge of the road. The victim sustained injuries on diff parts of her body and was rushed by her relatives to Hofeliña Hospital, Pagadian City for medical attention. The driver is now in the custody of Dumalinao Police Station for proper disposition.

Motor Vehicular Accident in Dumalinao

Zamboanga Del Sur – Motor vehicular accident transpired at about 10:00 in the morning of February 21, 2015 at Purok Gemilina, Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, wherein victim identified as Argelyn Javier, 11, resident of Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao. investigation disclosed that one Suzuki 115, color black, for registration plate, owned and driven by Julie Piedad Y Vasques, 24, resident of Barangay Upper Dumalinao, was traversing from the heart of municipality of Dumalinao bound for Barangay Upper Dumalinao,  upon reaching of the above mention place of incident accidentally bumped and side swept the victim. He sustained injuries of different parts of his body. He was immediately rushed to Jamelarin Hospital in Pagadian City by the driver for medical attention. The driver and single mc is now in the custody of Dumalinao Police Station.

Murderer Arrested in Lakewood

Zamboanga Del Sur – Operatives of Lakewood Police Station and Midsalip Police Station conducted a joint manhunt police operation in Barangay Sapang Pinoles, Lakewood, at about 4:30 PM of February 21, 2015. This resulted to the arrest of Gardo Masulog Y Antigue, 19, resident of Barangay Cumarom, Midsalip. His arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case # 14-10-1109-a issued by Presiding Judge Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Branch 30, RTC, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with no bail recommended. Accused now was brought to Midsalip Police Station for booking and proper documentation while waiting for the commitment order from the issuing court. 

Man Held in Dinas for Homicide

Zamboanga Del Sur – A man who has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide docketed under criminal case no. 1653 -d issued by Hon Maria Teresa Pangilinan, Presiding Judge of 6th Municipal Circuit Trial Court- San Miguel - Dinas-Lapuyan, voluntarily surrendered at the Dinas Police Station at about 5:00 PM of February 21, 2015. He was identified as Alejandro Lesondra Dionaldo, resident of Barangay Upper Sibul, Dinas. Accused is now temporarily detained at Dinas Police Station for subsequently turn-over of the said court. The bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty is twelve thousand pesos (P 12,000).

Man Held in Pagadian City Chokepoint

Pagadian City - The operatives of Pagadian City Police Station led by Police Inspector Harry Velez together with the Traffic personnel and Pagadian City Police Station Motor cops, while conducting chokepoint along the Pulmones Street, Barangay San Pedro at about 7:30 PM of February 21, 2015, held a 32-year old man including his driven motorcycle. Arrested during the operation was Rowel Enoy Y Waskin, 32, resident of Barangay Cogon, Pardo, Cebu City. The motorcycle was a Honda wave 100cc color red bearing plate number 4231-je. The motorcycle was reportedly stolen last November 18, 2014 at Dapitan City. The motorcycle is now under the custody of Pagadian City Police Station including the arrested person for proper disposition.
