SHOOTING INCIDENT IN DUMINGAG

On or about 9:15 in the evening of February 12, 2015, shooting incident transpired at Purok Dancing Lady, Barangay San Pedro, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur wherein victim identified as one Dionisio Mag-asin y Batucan, 53 years old, married, farmer by occupation and a resident of the aforementioned place was shot to death by certain Eddie Catarungan, of legal age, farmer and a resident of barangay sunup, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.  PNP elements of Dumingag Police Station led by SPO4 Antonio Dela Cerna, under the supervision of PSInsp Heterence Desamparado Abraham, OIC immediately responded upon receipt of the information thru cellular phone call of a concern citizen to conduct ocular inspection. Investigation conducted disclosed that victim was in the house terrace of Nilo Ebarle after having a drinking spree but while therein accosted by the suspect Eddie Catarungan and shot once hitting in the head that cause his instantaneous death with used of unknown handgun. According to the witnesses of the incident the suspect immediately fled away towards Barangay Sunop of same municipality after shooting the victim. PNP elements of Dumingag Police Station conducted hot pursuit operation against suspect for possible apprehension. Motive of the incident believed to be personal grudges. SHOOTING INCIDENT IN GUIPOS

On or about 7:30 in the evening of February 12, 2015, at Purok 1-A, Barangay Dalapan, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Rey Maravilla Y Sinlad, 38 years old, married and a resident of same place was shot to death by a suspect identified as Julius Secoya, Nelson Anggot alias titing and Gaudioso Maravillas all of legal ages and all resident of the aforementioned place. initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, victim was at his house together with his children when they heard a noise coming from the back portion of their house fronted him together with his son Reymar Maravillas Y Bajolo, 15 years old to verify and as they reached the side portion of their house, they saw the abovementioned suspects walking towards their direction and without any provocation, one of the suspect identified as Nelson Anggot draw his short firearm and shot the victim at closed range hitting on the different parts of his body which cause his instantaneous death and fled towards the barangay road of the said barangay. Combined elements of Guipos Police Station and 53IB, PA immediately responded to the area and conducted hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the suspects. OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL LOGGING IN SAN PABLO

On or about 1:30 in the afternoon of February 12, 2015 at Barangay Daplayan, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein one (1) load of illegally assorted cut trees was transported by a suspect identified as one (1) Recolito Sembajon of legal age and a resident of Barangay Mabuhay, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur with estimated to more or less Two Thousand to Three Thousand (2,000 to 3,000) board feet of illegal logs. Suspect together with the confiscated illegal logs was brought to San Pablo Police Station for proper disposition.

Robbery in Pagadian City

Pagadian City - Robbery / hold- up incident occurred at about 4:25 in the afternoon of February 13, 2015 in JRS express, Branch 1 located in Ariosa Street, Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City. Investigation conducted disclosed that two (2) unidentified suspects armed with a undetermined type of caliber of short firearms entered at the said establishment and declared hold- up. The suspects pointed a handgun towards the employees and customers. They carted away the cash amounting to more or less thirty three thousand pesos (P 33,000.00) and divested their personal belongings, some cellular phones such as unit iPhone 4s, unit Alcatel, two (2) units Nokia and one (1) ATM card. The suspects immediately fled towards unknown direction after the incident. The Pagadian City Police Station now conducted a manhunt operation to possibly identify and arrest the suspects.

Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident in Tigbao

Zamboanga Del Sur - Motor vehicular traffic accident occurred at about 2:00 in the afternoon of February 13, 2015 at Purok 6, Barangay Lacupayan, Tigbao. The victim was identified as Alisa Diana, 7 years old, resident of barangay diana countryside, Tigbao. She was accidentally sideswiped by single MC XRM 110, bearing plate number JI1317, driven by Raymond Cedeño Flores, 31 years old, jobless and a resident of Barangay Bogayo, Kumalarang. Based on the investigation conducted by Tigbao MPS disclosed that said single mc was traversing from Pagadian City bound to Barangay Bogayo, Kumalarang, and upon reaching at Barangay Lacupayan, Tigbao, the aforesaid victim suddenly crossed the road and thereby the driver loses its control over his driven mc and accidentally  bumped and sideswiped said victim. She sustained injuries on her body and was brought to Pagadian City Hospital for medical treatment. The driver to include the single mc was then brought by Barangay Chairman Armando Bongcawil of said place to Tigbao MPS for proper disposition.

Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident in Tigbao 

Zamboanga Del Sur - Motor vehicular traffic accident occurred at about 10:30 in the morning of February 13, 2015 in Barangay Nilo, Tigbao, wherein victim / pedestrian identified as Marisa Tonggos, legal age, female, married, resident of Barangay Nangan-Nangan, Tigbao, was accidentally bumped by single mc Honda TMX, driven by Raffy Soazola Bustamante, 33 years old, married, resident of Purok Malipayon, Barangay Longmot, Tigbao, together with his three (3) back riders identified as Vilma Salacot Bustamante  and Pelita Sumamban, both of legal age, married and one (1) Dexter Aligado, grade five student, all resident of Barangay Longmot, Tigbao. Based on the investigation conducted by Tigbao MPS disclosed that said single mc was traversing from Barangay Tigabo bound to Barangay Longmot, and upon reaching at Purok 1, Barangay Nilo, suddenly said victim crossed the road while texting using his cellphone and thereby accidentally bumped. The pedestrian to include the driver and his three (3) back riders sustained injuries on the different parts of their bodies and were rushed to Pagadian City Hospital for immediate medical treatment. The subject mc was brought to Tigbao MPS for proper disposition.

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS

Man Held in Dimataling for Violation of RA 10591

Zamboanga Del Sur -  A 45-year old man was collared by the Barangay Officials of Barangay Tinggabulong, Dimataling for violation of RA 10591 (new firearms and ammunition act) in Barangay Tinggabulong, Dimataling at about 3:00 in the afternoon of February 13, 2015. Arrested was Ciriaco Daligdig Ayawan, 45, married, resident of Barangay Culabay, Tabina.  Based on the investigation conducted by Dimataling MPS disclosed that suspect was traversing on foot at the road of BarangayTingabolong, however, upon reaching at said place, he was accidentally fell and stumble down on the road. The belt bag which he carries was thrown near beside him. At that instance, the Barangay chairman identified as Hon Yoligario R Albarico and his men helped him to make him to stand up and pick the belt bag. The chairman then accidentally discover one (1) unit caliber 22 revolver loaded with six live ammunitions with no pertinent papers and document presented authorizing him to carry such firearm. The suspect was then held and was subsequently turned - over to Dimataling MPS for detention and filing of case. 

Man Arrested during Police Operation for Drugs in Margosatubig

Zamboanga Del Sur - An alleged pusher was arrested by operatives of Zamboanga Del Sur -Provincial Intelligence Branch, Margosatubig Police Station and PDEA 9 during joint police operation through the service of search warrant in Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig at about 4:00 in the morning of February 13, 2015. Suspect Ricky Paragas, was arrested based on the search warrant with number  15-02-m for violation of RA 9165 issued on February 4, 2015 by Hon Judge Arnold Diabo of MCTC Margosatubig- Vincenzo Sagun. Confiscated from the possession and control  of suspect were nine(9) small pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance, nine pieces of slice/rolled aluminum foil, one piece disposable lighter color green and one piece improvised tooter. The arrested suspect is now temp detained at Margosatubig Police Station while appropriate charges were being prepared against him in court.

3 Held in Margosatubig during Pot Session

Zamboanga Del Sur -  Three individuals were nabbed after they were caught in the act of pot session during police operation through the service of warrant in Purok Water Lily, Poblacion, Margosatubig at about 4:00 in the morning of February 13, 2015. Arrested were Aniano Decierdo, Sarah Itumay Datu Oto and John Lloyd Ursal. The search warrant was with number 15-01-m for violation of RA 9165 against Aniano Decierdo issued on February 4, 2015 by Hon Judge Arnold Diabo of MCTC Margosatubig- Vincenzo Sagun.  Confiscated from the possession and control  of Aniano Decierdo were two (2)heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance; John Lloyd Ursal were thirteen small heat sealed plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance, one disposable lighter and three slice aluminum foil while from Sarah Datu Oto were eleven small heat sealed plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance. The three persons were brought to the Margosatubig MPS for inventory of confiscated items prior for submission to Provincial Crime Lab for confirmatory in the presence of Media, Margasatubig Mayor, SB member and Barangay Captain Riza E Encallado. Arrested suspects are now temp detained at said police station while appropriate charges were being prepared against the suspects in court.

Top 1 Most Wanted in Ramon Magsaysay Nabbed in Lapuyan

Zamboanga Del Sur – A 47-year old man who was wanted for the crime of murder was arrested during manhunt operation conducted by Ramon Magsaysay MPS, Lapuyan MPS, Zamboanga Sibugay Intelligence Team, PNP Maritime in Barangay Baganan, Lapuyan, at about 6:40 in the evening of February 13, 2015. Arrested was Jimmy Gocon Y Guinsayao, 47 years old, married, the Top 1 Most wanted in Ramon Magsaysay. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case # 91-10 183 (9553) issued by Hon. Loreto Quinto, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 30, Aurora, dated January 23, 1995. He was brought to Lapuyan MPS for proper disposition and later detained at Ramon Magsaysay MPS awaiting final adjudication from the court.

  

Woman Nabbed in Pagadian City for the Crime of Slight Physical Injury

Pagadian City - Police Operatives of Pagadian City Police Station arrested a wanted woman in Barangay Balintawak, Pagadian City at about 12:10 in the afternoon of February 13, 2015. Police Superintendent Glenn M. Dulawan, Pagadian City Police Chief, identified the arrested as Editha Taculoy Y Pasco, legal, resident of said place. Suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of slight physical injury, issued by Hon Joel G Vercide, Presiding Judge, Municipal Trial Court In Cities, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 1, Pagadian City docketed under criminal case nr 16898 issued on 28th December 2014 with bail recommended amounted to two thousand pesos (P 2,000.00) for her temp liberty. She is now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station awaiting court disposition.
