Shooting in Molave

Zamboanga Del Sur - Shooting incident occurred at about 6:30 in the evening of February 17, 2015 along Rizal Avenue, Barangay Maloloy-On, Molave. The victim was identified as Michel Albano, legal age, married, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay. He was shot by unidentified suspects. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was walking on the above mentioned place of incident when the gunman and his companion were waiting on the area and shot the victim several times using a caliber .45 pistol based on two empty shells and one slug recovered at the crime scene. The victim sustain gunshot wounds on different parts of his body and was immediately brought by concern citizen to Salug Valley Medical Center for medical treatment but was later pronounce dead by the attending physician. The suspects fled to unknown direction onboard single mc Honda XRM motorcycle. The Molave Police Station now conducted hot pursuit operation and follow-up investigation for possible arrest the suspects. The motive of the incident believed to be personal grudge.

Stabbing In Molave

Zamboanga Del Sur - Stabbing incident occurred at about 11:10 in the morning of February 17, 2015 in Barangay Blancia, Molave. The suspect identified as Ricardo Degero Y Pelvira alias carding, 61 years old, married and resident of Purok Magdalena, Barangay Blancia, Molave.  He voluntarily surrendered to Molave MPS and personally admitted that he stabbed certain Jose Bulagaw alias Boboy, 47, single and a resident of above-mentioned place. Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident; both suspect and victim were both having drinking spree when the victim was already drunk and fall asleep on a bamboo chair which the suspect directly slashed the neck of the victim with the use of a hunting knife that cause this untimely death. The suspect now temporarily detained at Molave MPS locked- up cell while an appropriate case now being prepared to filing in court.

Man Arrested in Kumalarang for Attempted Homicide Charges

Zamboanga Del Sur - A man wanted for the crime of Attempted Homicide was arrested by elements of Kumalarang Police Station in Barangay Suminalum, Kumalarang at about 8:30 in the morning of February 17, 2015. Police Leonel Pajarilla Roncesvalles, Kumalarang Police Chief, identified the arrested as Nonie Sigba Y Ambongan, legal age. He was arrested for the crime of attempted homicide with cc no. 1752-k and his bail recommended twelve thousand pesos (P 12,000.00) for temporary liberty which was issued by Presiding Judge Hon. Norlinda R. Amante-Descallar At 13th MCTC Kumalarang-Lakewood-Bayog 9th Judicial Region, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspect is now temp detained at said police station while awaiting the commitment order of the court for proper disposition.  

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS IN KUMALARANG

On or about 11:00 in the evening of   February 17, 2015, elements of Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (PAIDSOTF), Zamboanga Del Sur led by PSInsp Rommel Gabriel Etbew together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and 2nd Mobile Company RPSB 9 conducted a buy-bust/entrapment  operation at the vicinity of Barangay Poblacion Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the arrest of a certain  Neil Ramos Quiza, 45 years old, male, single and a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur while one (1) Benjie Salva elude arrest (at large)  when suspects agreed to sell to a police officer who posed as buyer of one small size heat sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance in exchange of 500.00. Confiscated from the suspect were the buy bust money and  two (2) heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weight is still to be determined. A case for violation of sec 5 11 art II of R.A. 9165 is now being prepared by PO2 Dominic Dalena for filing in court
